Mangal Plus in Milton Keynes

This is one of our go to places when we're too tired to cook but want something tasty and relatively healthy. The Large Chicken Shish easily feeds two of us... Served with a fresh chopped salad, some excellent bulgar rice, pitta and sauces of choice. Most of the delivery sites will pick up from here but it's easy to order and pickup through their website... Cooking time is rarely long if you're ordering on site too.

Definitely the best doner in Milton Keynes!

I previously wrote a glowing review however we have ordered tonight, when you order online a drop down advises salad comes with your order. No salad was included. Also we ordered a medium kebab, no pitta was included. I called them, they told me only pittas come with a large kebab! I have never ordered a kebab where a pitta wasn't included, so watch out folks Probably won't order here again!

Would not recommend. I have ordered previously, however ordered online, received very nice chicken kebab and lamb kebab, however, excluding a pitta, which is unheard-of ! Rung them up, and I was told you only get a pitta when you order a large kebab. Will recommend avoiding!

Was our first time trying this place tonight. Passing through Wolverton and spotted it. We’ve tried all the other kebab takeaways in the areas. This will be our kebab takeaway from now on. We had 1 large chicken shish mixed with doner. Absolutely no chewy or hard bits in the doner meat which is a real put off for me. The chicken was cooked over charcoal in view of customers and tasted so fresh and authentic as well as succulent. Even the chips were crispy and well cooked. Very reasonably priced as well. 1 large mixed chicken shish and doner, 1 large chicken shish both came with a good helping of savoury rice and salad, chicken fillet burger and large chips. All for £29. We think we have found our go to kebab house.

It's only the takeaway in Milton Keynes that makes kebabs on a charcoal grill.

The family stayed in and so we opted for a takeway from this restaurant. While the chiken dishes were reasonable, the Lamb Chops were the worst I ever had. Not only were they bite size for a child, they were also burnt too. The Shish Lamb too, was tough and virtually inedible. How can a restaurant be happy to deliver such below standard food??

Was a regular but been trying the chicken as of lately and not happy with the taste. Plus delivery costs double then picking it up doesn’t warrant me going anymore undoubtedly

This is our go to place when we crave kebab. We have tried the hummus and falafel wrap, the chicken wrap and the lamp wrap. All of them have always been absolutely delicious. The best kebab place in MK! Highly recommended.

We are down for the weekend watch the F1 at Silverstone. Had some food from this place on Saturday night and couldn't have been more impressed. It was good value for money and the food was to standard. Very nice. Good homemade chilli sauce.

Just had a Cyprus Salad and a Turkish sausage . So, first the sausage , nice and tasty but really small , so for £4 you would expect more . Now for the salad , £14 for a bag of mixed lettuce that has a striking resemblance and taste to Aldi mixed salad bag which costs 80p and you get about half a bag , tough leaves and you feel like a cow chewing the damned stuff . Olives , feta cheese and the grilled chicken all very lovely , just not enough to warrant £14 . No cherry tomatoes as advertised , just half a tomato sliced . So after getting an aching jaw chewing the lettuce , wondering where the rest of the chicken was , I am still hungry after spending £18 ! let that sink in , if I was overweight and had an eating problem I could understand . So will I be coming back , well If I want to go broke and die of hunger then yes, I probably would

This is the best location in Milton Keynes where you can eat with less money and the food it’s very delicious and very important everything is very clean and the staff are very friendly. I like very much everything and I recommend it

Great mixed kebab from here, loved the dips that come with it too, recommend getting it ! Wasn't a massive fan of the wings, kebab is the winner for me!

They have the best Turkish grill, tasty and clean service. I normally get the grill chicken wings and the chicken doner.

We see good reviews for magal plus and placed an order for food from thier website tonight not realising it's collection only, we've never ordered from here before. As we've finished work for Christmas we had a drink! Couldn't pick the order up... They tried to have the food delivered us then fully refunded us for the order as they couldn't get it here. We couldn't believe it. We're so grateful! We definitely be ordering again!!! I'll make sure i can pick it up : )

Probably the best value for money place to get takeaway in Wolverton. The food is so good and fresh and reasonably priced. Decent portion sizes too. As a vegetarian the options on the menu are limited but the halloumi wrap is always a winner! My partner had a grilled chicken and avocado salad, which was a proper flavoursome salad with a light and delicious dressing... Something that is rather hard to come by at takeaways in this country.

One of the worst take aways I have ever eaten. 5 cubes of meat and allow them pure fat. Truly awful

Absolutely love this place. Maybe one of the best vegetarian takeaway options in MK. Hummus and Falafel kebab is stunning and less than £10.

Went for a takeaway and all we can say is……. Amazing!! Halloumi wrap, mixed kebab, cheesy chips, hummus, baklava all so tasty. Service was also fast and friendly. We will definitely be back!

Got to say, its a decent and tasty kebabs I have tried in MK. I too read the reviews before I ordered. Definitely recommend this restaurant. Good and clean atmosphere as well as the great food. I ordered large chicken shish and chicken wrap. The portions are reasonably worth the money. Customer service is well presented as well. Definitely will be ordering again.

Super nice Turkish BBQ.. Probably the best Turkish in Milton Keyne! They use the freshest ingredients and have a genuine charcoal BBQ on which they cook their meats making them taste so good.!

Very nice chicken kofta at a very reasonable price. Brilliant little gem.

Portions are not massive and if you don't want the standard bread and rice they don't give you extra salad, so not ideal if you are avoiding carbs but the meat and sauce they provide is very good.

Except for the thing that if you order in-store is quite a long waiting time, (better order by phone in advance). The food is very good and tasty. Definitely worth a try! Recommend!

Loved it tried first time but happy with food quality and portions

Had my very 1st order 2 days ago at the end of my shift and I have to say, I was extremely impressed with the food I received, so much so I will be returning to order later after work... very clean hardly any oil and very tasty indeed... 4 stars from myself

Complete let down. Normally we love coming here, but this has now happened several times, we order our food for collection and then you wait untill its 5/10minutes before it's time to collect and then you cancel our orders, no reason no contacting us to let us know, nothing at all, I would only recommend if your going in and ordering, I definitely do not recommend their delivery/collection.

I've spent so much money in this place and I will keep doing so. Absolutely the best kebab in MK, free delivery (I'm local) and portions sizes are immense. Always pay attention to my notes for specific requests too! Top top place!

ordered the medium Chicken Shish Kebab and couldn't even finish it, it was so filling - absolutely lovely food, great portion sizes and wait times are good. cant wait to go back.

Enjoyed the food thoroughly. Order was pretty large (4 adults) and the portion size was great. Arrived hot and was fresh (particularly the salad). Will defo order again once the new year resolution to be super healthy goes down the pan!

Waiting times and delivery times are terrible, used to be really good. Via delivery apps also very bad communication and now very slow. Food arrives cold. Drivers are not very reliable and unable to find locations well. Mangal miscommunicates and shows a quick order time on apps when in reality food arrives 20 minutes late on average.

Ever since Mangal Plus opened I have been going there,I really like Turkish food and this place is making kebabs on charcoal grill ,and chicken and or lamb duner , everything is aways fresh and nicely cooked with souses and fresh salads ,cant go wrong great value for money I even order some times on Uber when Im lazy and I think they are the best you will find around. Highly recommended!

This place is amazing , unexpected to see and experience real turkish cousin, friendly , clean atmosphere, i wished was close to where I live , i travel from Dunstable to have lamb ,or chicken shush, which is carefully barbecued on lump wood charcoal

Love this place! IMHO they serve the best Turkish food in MK. Prices are standard for MK, but the portion sizes are big.

Very dissatisfied. Placed an order online. Upon collection was told it was the incorrect shop.Disgraceful customer service at the Milton Keynes branch as they refused to rectify or transfer the order. £40 order has now cost £80 .Apparently this happens regularly and the Milton Keynes shop do nothing to rectify … just take your money.

Kebabs are so delicious and cheap. They are so friendly, helpful. You should definitely try it and you will be fun of this kebab shop :) I usually order food from them. They do all their best to make customers happy.

Tasteless food. Found a few black hairs in the food too.

Today my partner and I tried out this place for the first time. We ordered a hallumi kebab, a burger, some chips and their hot sauce. The staff was nice and helpful and once got home we unwrapped our dinner. The portions are big (i bearly managed to finish my kebab, and I can eat a lot), their hot sauce is full of flavour and the chili is not overpowering. The only complain I have is that one of my hallumi was a little carbonised but, overall, we both really enjoyed our food and will definitely go back in the future.

Our favourite turkish food place. They always make the food fresh and their mixed grills are amazing. Sometimes when you order food it arrives cold and just isn't the same as when you have it at the restaurant but this place somehow always manage to deliver it piping hot! Keep up the amazing standard :)
