Maison Parisienne in Bexley

This is a lovely restaurant, so accessible on the corner ( so great for parking in the evening!) Service is wonderful, and food delicious!( don't expect photo - I was too bust eating it!) Very reasonably priced, too. Highly recommend you visit!

I took a group of 23 Year 10 French students to Maison Parisienne as a reward trip at the end of July so they could experience traditional French cuisine and practice their restaurant vocabulary, and it did not disappoint. The food was beautifully presented and served promptly, and the manager and waiting staff were all very polite and helpful. The students enjoyed all three courses of their meal and we are keen to arrange another visit for next year's cohort. If you want to arrange a group booking, the manager is very obliging and can create an exclusive set menu for your needs and cater to suit any dietary requirements.

I went there today with a friend.The food was normal,we had Sirloin steak that could do with a bit more seasoning,but what was disappointing was the 12% service charge that the owner refused to remove.He got defensive about it and rude .Wont be back again.

went here today for the first time. it will be my last! Shame as the food was lovely. The service however left a lot to be desired and they have the cheek to charge a 12.5% service charge! We waited over 45minutes to get our drinks order taken and it was only taken then, as I asked the waiter leaning against the counter if we had to come up and order or if they did table service. He said no, we serve you and carried on leaning against the counter!!!! I asked, can you take our order then please? We ordered 3 drinks and 3 meals. We had our drinks approx 20mins later, which was a tea, coffee and appletise. I should point out there were only 3 other tables of 2 people on each in there so it was far from busy. Before our meals turned up, I wanted another coffee. I tried to get the attention of the 2 wait staff, both continuingly ignored us - the people on the table next to us were moaning about the service and the guy on their table wanted a drink. I ended up going up to the counter to order a second coffee, which I left them making as I sat down. Our meals came up - looked good, the coffee was still a work in progress.... Once we'd eaten I asked for the menu - we were considering dessert as the food was good. However we sat with the menu for ages and not asked for our order, so decided against it. We asked for the bill. Got that after a while, however nobody came to take it, we weren't sure if we had to pay at the counter, so I got up to do so. As we wanted to spit the bill equally between the 3 of us, I had my card processed first, we were in the process of putting through the 2nd transaction when the phone ran and the woman serving us took the phone call, so we were left standing there while she dealt with that. Once the payments had been taken - probably took about 10mins (felt longer as everything had been so dragged out since we got there), I said thanks and mentioned I thought they were taking the mickey with the service charge and I was asked why, and I mentioned the lack of service, the woman looked perplexed as if she didn't know what I was referring to! We were in there for 2hours, having had a cooked breakfast, scrambled egg on toast and a jacket potato! Cost was £38 something. Seriously 2hours for a cafe lunch! So go if you have all the time in the world and are willing to potentially wait for an hour to get a drink and then pay a 12.5% service charge for the privilege, otherwise really don't bother!

First visit and won’t be the last, great restaurant with good choice plus a drink at lunch time what’s not to like! Popped to Welling feeling peckish and not fancying a greasy spoon checked this place out, lovely service and food. There was an old chap in there possibly a regular the staff were so caring towards him really gives me faith in human nature.

I have been visiting this lovely restaurant for a few years now and have never been disappointed. The food is cooked and presented beautifully and the staff are reliable, courteous and friendly. 5 out of 5 from me.

Recently moved in Welling, UK, and I was exploring the area. I went for a coffee with my cousin inside the Maison Parisienne and we ended up ordering deserts. The cheese cake was amazing and the staff as well was amazing. I will visit this spot more often.

I went along with my family and we couldn’t be more satisfied. The food was amazing and well presented. The staff turned out to be super friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend.

A wonderful restaurant, amazing quality food and beautifully presented. I enjoyed the food that hey served on Sunday. Looking forward to visit again!

Decided to try here again after my last bad experience and what a difference! Waitress very attentive and friendly, food was fresh and tasty and arrived in good time. Looking at the menu there is a lot of choice and quality ingredients so we will definitely be back soon.

We popped in for a coffee after shopping and ended up staying for lunch one Sunday. I had a lovely fresh omelette while my other half had the roast dinner, they were kind enough to swap the chips for some veg with my omelette which were beautifully cooked.

Went here today with three friends. Small portions, slow service and misleading approach with two menus with drinks on but different prices. Queried being overcharged only to be told that this was the drinks menu which I hadn't ordered from or seen. No apologies, quite abrupt actually Not a cheap lunch either and unfortunately a place I won't be returning to which is a shame as I am always keen to support local businesses

Walk in and met by very friendly staff... Asked for Redbush tea and got it.... Food was vegatable soup and Sunday roast Finished it off with icecream... Food was lush and will return soon next Sunday...maybe it replaced my own kitchen....as long she doesn't know about it....hahaha

An hour wait for food, portions were small and tasteless. Been here a few times and it’s always the same. The waitressing staff are lovely but it’s doesn’t make up for poor food and a long wait.

We went for a mother's day meal and thought it was great. Had a really nice gourmet burger with French fries and a goats cheese starter. Service was quick and attentive, prices are very reasonable . Would really recommend.

We arrived at midday and ordered our food by 12:10. At that time the place was nearly empty. By 12:20 it was half full and we noticed other tables were being served their food. By 12:40 we asked the waitress if our food was on its way and she nodded. By 12:50 still no food so 2 of our group ( there were 5 of us) had to leave to go back to work. No apologies from staff. As I got up to leave at 12::55 I was informed that my order was on its way. I had the vegetable soup. The 2 other orders came out at 1:10! So an hour wait from what is basically a cafe. This is unacceptable and really poor form! We was not offered any discount for the inconvenience. None of us will return.

This place started out well, but it’s going downhill. Portions are getting smaller with less key ingredients. They also seem to have changed to cash only basis but there is no sign to tell you in advance. With more places opening up in welling (balseros/arabica/totlins) I can see this place losing out.

This is a very sweet cafe, clean fresh meals, which is worth a visit, but there is no consistent way to pay, and there is no transparency either. It looks as if they sometimes hide the payment machine and say it’s not working, but honestly it feels more like they’re choosing if they want cash that day or not, it would be better if they just put up a sign saying “cash only”.currently it just feels discerning and insulting to send customers to a cash point at the end of the visit, when they could be upfront about wanting cash, it’s not hard, and not normally even a problem - customers just want to know at the start!!!I will return again, as I like the food, but if another cafe opens near by, I would also happily visit them, to remove the headache upon settling up the bill.

Our annual Christmas lunch. With the Streetlife ladies we like to support local businesses and meet every couple of weeks In Different local private cafes.It was decided to try Maison Parisienne for our Christmas lunch.We weren’t disappointed. From the moment I booked the festive menu for the 8 of us , everything went smoothly. The service was good, the food hot,tasty and well presented and everyone felt relaxed. Cant wait to go back for a new year cuppa.

My Mum and Dad have been eating here for a while and always say how nice it is so we thought we would give it a go.

I've been to this restaurant a couple of times, and been very impressed!

Went with my wife the other day for coffee and cake. The service was very friendly and the surroundings nice. We had lattes and my wife had the lemon tart and I had the orange and chocolate cake. My orange cake was gorgeous !

Went for lunch. Food cooked fresh and very good. Excellent choice actually spoilt for choice. Staff ( gentleman) very welcoming and pleasant. Will definitely go back.
