Mi amigo y yo tuvimos una comida para llevar de este restaurante. Inmediatamente después de que ambos tuvimos diarrea. Su aclarado después de un día. La mía persistió durante 4 días y contando. Ha sido la peor experiencia gastronómica de mi vida. Les he informado a la agencia de normas alimentarias para que inspeccionen sus cocinas. Teníamos cordero de Manchuria. (Que no se comió por completo, ya que la carne era increíblemente grasosa) y arroz con gambas. Supongo que tiene un alto riesgo de envenenamiento si no se cocina bien. Lo evitaría al 100%. La intoxicación alimentaria como esta no es algo que alguien quiera. Exploraré acciones legales contra este restaurante, ya que ha sido muy costoso tomarse tanto tiempo libre en este trabajo.

Este conocido restaurante está cerca del famoso Bricklane, que ofrece una variedad de curry de carne y preparaciones de paneer que tienen el efecto de fusión de Mumbai e Indo Chinese. No se sirve alcohol aquí y halal certificado. Perfecto lugar para comer aquí. Los precios son asequibles. El personal es muy servicial y acogedor lugar para comer.

Went to Maida after work one day after having passed it a million times. Wow... the food was so bad, it was hysterical. It was completely flavourless, bland, and the wait staff looked like they would have rather been shot than be there It was a terrible experience and definitely will not be going back. I strongly recommend others to stay away

We visited this Resturant awhile ago and I must stay it was a good experices, staff were friendly and food was great, also they have separate rooms which is ideal for family.

Excellent range of good quality foods. We had chicken soup as starter, spicy - excellent taste. Main course was their famous Lucknow chicken biryani with side dish.

I wondered that chinese food had good taste or not here? I ordered cbicken noodles as was craving to eat noodles. The results after eating the chicken noodles were "YUMMY", good taste with appropriate portion to fill the stomach. I love the taste with the service which was upto the standards. Value for money. Definately recommendable.

This used to be a great place to eat at one point, but it has gone all downhill. We first went to Maida over 8 years ago and were really impressed - they even made broccoli tastes great. We then went their quite regularly until we moved away from London. Since we returned back we have now been to this place about 3 times in last six months or so but weren't fully happy on any of those visits - but the last visit was the last nail in the coffin. Firstly, we were served chicken soup when we ordered Veg - this isn't a small mistake and we had already started eating it before I realised and pointed out to him but they just didn't get the seriousness of the mistake, just rushed to get that changed. Main course felt bland and nothing hit the mark (perhaps the chef changed since last eat here). I pointed out both the mistake with serving chicken to a vegetarian and that food wasn't upto the mark - all I got in return was a sorry and try next time - just bad customer service - if you mess up big time at least try and make it up to the customer. We also found out in the previous visit that the dessert portion were reduced to couple of spoonful while the prices have gone up. This used to be a great place to eat but suffice to say that we won't be visiting.

Why would you charge higher than normal prices and provide the same food as the others? OK perhaps if your service was exceptional then it could be justified but guess what? They service is attrocious, the waiters actually don't know how to serve with a smile. They'll get at least one thing wrong. Totally unware of how to provide a service to paying customers! Will get found out sooner or later.

This was probably the 3rd visit, with friends. We discovered the menu had changed, less choices. We ordered Chicken Sesame bread, hot Soup, Biriyani, Chowmein, Khouska Rice with a dried oriental Prawn dish. Food was good. Loved the Chowmein! Their portion sizes were still large like last time. You have to be careful when you order, as the portions are deceptively large. The last orders were at 10.40pm and Restaurant closed at 11pm. Though managememt were kind enough to stay until we comfortably finished our meal. The service was good. Definitely recommend this restaurant. Good for birthday parties and group events.

Went with 5 of my friends to Maida on a Saturday night, Restaurants fairly busy so it’s understandable that the service was slow, however the waiter that served us didn’t seem very bothered at the fact our drinks and food were very slow, we would appreciate just a ‘sorry’ but nothing... Getting onto the mains, some of the food tasted nice but most tasted just okay, nothing really amazing. Hopefully management look into their staff training, as the waiter who served us seemed like he didn’t care about anything.

Simple decor and good service. Everything was very good and the prawns were excellent. The food is spicy, but as it should be. Would recommend if you are looking for authentic Indian food.

We went there for a birthday so we didn’t really had the choice. And that was a mistake. My wife who is pregnant got food poisoned while the food seemed cooked, and we ended up in the hospital for the whole next day because she was vomiting their food every 30 minutes shortly after the meal. Fortunatly neither her or the baby were harmed, she was just very dehydrated at the end and tired of the sleepless night. We noticed the sanitary services of London for this incident. Will never come back again. We came for the week end and we spent half of the trip in the hospital. How to ruin your week end, and potentially, could have ruined our lives! Owners of Maida : don’t forget the responsability you have when you serve food, it can kill people!

Great service and good place. Lots of seating area and they also have rooms downstairs for private family gathering. The chinese food is delicious and the portion is big and I love all their non alcoholic drink selections.

Eat here every Saturday evening with a group of friends. My favorite dishes are the Dhal and the lamb dishes. Portion sizes are generous and the food is so tasty. Highly recommended.

Came here on a Saturday night but it was quite empty. Service was OK. The food wasn't that tasty. Ordered mostly indo-chinese dishes. Not really worth it.

Food is served very quickly, staff are friendly, the Butter Chicken curry is worth returning for. Prices range from £10 and above, dishes are good in terms of portion size.

El ambiente no es nada especial aunque fuimos un viernes por la noche con un lugar como Shoreditch tenía todos los lugares alrededor de zumbidos pero aún así fuimos a este lugar, que parecía no tener identidad con un desfase entre el servicio y el tipo de cocina.

Went to have a nice evening meal but was seriously let down. Food was not nice, wings were stale and cold. Burger has an old meat smell and tasted disgusting. The grill food also tasted burnt and was also dry and had a gone off taste.

As a British Asian, I try to avoid going to Indian restaurant because is the food we have home. So when we planned to have our annual dinner there, I wasn’t so keen. I’m glad I went because the food is so delicious and everyone seem to have so much fun. The restaurant manage to accommodate 55 of us comfortably while keeping the restaurant still open for other members of public

Fue un cumpleaños de un amigo y teníamos previsto ir a Jimmy's en O2. Sin embargo, dos de los amigos y nos retrasamos camino tuvimos que cambiar a Maida, Bethnal Green.

Arroz pilau ordenados de hongos. Arroz cocido con champiñones recibido en rodajas. No es un pilau. Y lo peor de todo son champiñones de lata y sin sabor.

Soy un visitante frecuente en este lugar y la comida china es simplemente increíble. Claro, es la India, la china, que normalmente encontrar en restaurantes en la India. Si alguna falta india china, le dan a este lugar una visita. No es demasiado caro. El servicio puede ser un poco lento, pero no me importa

My wife and 2 year old ate the same chicken from the mixed grill and both have been extremely unwell today.My 2 year son has been vomiting and has diarrhoea and this could have only been caused by the chicken which he ate here.I called the restaurant - no apology and very little concern was expressed by the person we spoke with.I will be notifying the food safety team at the local council.

Very few restaurants in London do justice to the price of a dish in terms of it's portion size and this place is one of them! No compromise on taste either. Non oily, tasty Indo Chinese food. Polite service, nice ambiance. Will definitely recommend!!

Had a great time here at this restaurant. We came for early Father's Day dinner, the food was lovely and really friendly staff.

I recently visited maida Indian restaurant in have been there several times. The food is very good especially the mix grill the portion size is more than enough for 2 people however it is a bit pricey compared to neighbouring restaurants as there probably are over 30 such Indian restaurants in a 1 mile radius. As I have a tastecard you get 2 4 1 on mains it evens it out and after my discount it works out the same price as other local restaurant . Otherwise I wouldn't go there as the price is high. The food is good but they can improve on the menu by adding a few more dishes currently i believe the menu lacks vieriety as it is very limited. All in all would recommend a visit. My bill came to 47 (33 pounds after tastecard discount ) 2 people 2 starters 2 mains 1 dessert and a couple of juice.

I booked this joke of a company for my wedding the trial food they gave and what I agreed on was not what was served at my wedding. The staff they provided that I was charged a high rate for where a joke made me look silly in front of my guests food was gold and tasted disgusting the decorations I ordered for my wedding I did not get they sent a representative to the hall before the wedding she looked around said yes it's all good and charged me come day before wedding when putting up decorations the pillars where to big would not fit in hall so could not use it but I was not refunded a penny this company is a joke and please save yourself the hassle and throw your money in the toilet instead of hiring this company and before I forget the worst part I hired a wedding photography and video Guy through these jokers he did a runner with the money I did not get a video or photos I will be taking this company to court PLEASE DO NOT USE.

We been to maida today from upper crust Liverpool Street,we had very good time. the food was really delicious and service was very good.we received the food on time with smiley(waiters) face.mocktails &dessert was very nice specially the sizzling brownie,all of our members liked it hopefully we will come back again.special thnx to amit&tahir for everything.

This is a really nice fusion restaurant but the stand out dish is the Nihari which is only available on the weekend. The staff are courteous and the service is quick for a very busy restaurant.

I popped in here for a casual evening meal with a friend based on a recommendation and wasn't disappointed.We had a "Mai'da Daily Special" to share as a starter...which was a meat based mixed grill. The portion was a good size and the lamp chops were especially tasty! We continued with lamb dishes as our mains with some breads, rice and Daal as well. Portions once again a good size and the flavors were good. We were definitely stuffed by the end of it.The restaurant doesn't serve alcohol which wasn't really an issue for us as they had a wide selection of non alcoholic drinks. The staff were polite and the dishes arrived in good time as well. The prices are slightly high but having said that I'd still go back as I did have a great meal!

I went there first time with my wife and 1 year old son. Rubbish service, went in at 9.30 and after me three families walked in and they got sitted before. Ordered some starters and specifically asked for them to bring the starters out asap as my son was hungry and we ended up with the mains first and the rice was ice cold even asked the waitier to check it and he just nodded away. I will never return again and on top the place was very disorganised. If your going to open a business be ready to run it properly. The waiters kept coming upto us and askin whats wrong but not one of them tried to fix the situation. Walked out leaving all the food as given to us... never to return and has put a shame on me as i told the wife good things about it and in return get disappointed.

We were desperate to EAT hall chinese while in London and used TripAdvisor and I m glad to say not disappointed. It is not cheap but good helpings

Been here twice, first time went for the indian dishes which were great sized portions and soo tasty. Especially love the spinach lamb currys. Second time tried their indo-chinese menu and again they really impressed me. Chow meins were also massive portions for a great price. Mocktailsmare presented really nicely and a mist if you go here

We visited the restaurant for lunch. The service was quick and friendly. We started with poppadoms, they were cold with only three dips. The onion bhajee's were more flour than onion and the vegetable samosas very hard with little filling. However the vegetable biriyani and the chickpea curry were hot, delicious and generous.We had hoped to have some wine with our meal but respect that this was not possible due to religious beliefs. However there was a selection of fun non alcoholic 'cocktails'.It was nice enough but I would not go out of my way to visit again,

We came in for lunch, having seen a group of Indian folk go in there the previous night. There was only one other couple there, & the food & drinks were served promptly: the portions were traditionally huge, so we just had a layered biriyani & a chickpea dish, some of which we had to take away with us (& the waiter was OK with that). The mocktails were fun: this being an alcohol-free zone, they'd be suitable for the little 'uns.

Great food, great service,friendly staff, love the Brownie sizzler, the kids enjoy the food, always worth the visit when we're over that side of London.

The food was amazing. I got the Madras chicken with aloo paratha. I'm fussy with my food but this tasted superb and my friend and I loved it. Definitely recommend!

Myself and my family had been last week to Maida Restaurant again after a long time A feast for fusion indo Chinese Food Very tasty dishes and a great taste to the palite giving you all that spices overwhelming the sense of the mind and soul.They serve great non Alcoholics Cocktails And it's a pleasant Resturant the Bilk is a bit expensive but hey if you want good food than spending should be a problem should it.I have given it a 4 but I think a 5 will be given when the staff are more attentive.

Sorry but there's a line. From cold food, to the service(none), to the price and space. You cannot be charging such extortionate prices whilst delivering the above. Genuinely, this has to be the worst experience for me as I ended up grabbing food on the way home. Never again !

I Invited 20 of my family members on 23rd October for a Birthday party of my son. What can I say about this place , as always food was excellent and service good. I had a set menu and all dishes were medium spiced and tasty.

I visited in Aug 16, loved every dish, authentic Indian taste. Every dish we ordered was delicious. would Love to go back again soon.

As it was Eid a friend of mine n i decided to have some really good biryani, we chose Maida, and we glad we did.Maida did not disappoint us with the Indian food, we ordered for lucknow authentic biryani and a starter of crispy chicken tai pai the potions were excellent. Good Value for money.I would recommend and definitely come back for some more Indian Food.

Went to a wedding recently where maida catering was serving at manor of groves. Extremely rude staff... I asked for food 4 times at my table. The waiter litrelly looked at me and walked off. They were serving hot coke bottle s at evwry table. I requested diet coke for my mom as she is diabetic and the waiter brought a bottle put half a glass for my mom and took the bottle away. Couldnr be bothered to leave at the desk. Later I requested a clean glass from 2 waiters and they told me off saying clean glasses are finished and I had to drink water directly from bottle. Food was cold, in short supply. Some dishes were extrwmwly spicy and others completely bland. Felt like some amatures had been learning how to cook in their kitchen...rediculous

Waited 15minutes to be asked what i wanted. They wernt even busy! 2 waiters noticed i was waiting but ignored me and ended cleaning tables.Food good amount and tastes good.Better to use a taste card its 2for1

Buon locale con buona cucina Indiana e Indo Cinese. Ovviamente tutto molto speziato e piccante. Attenzione, non servono alcolici.Porzioni abbondanti e prezzi bassi, soprattutto per Londra.Comunque consigliabile.

We visit as a family of 6 (parents and 4 kids aged from 17 to 8) with 2 Tastecards every few months on Sunday evenings. It is one of our favourite restaurants that never lets us down. Service is great, portions are large, and with 4 starters 4 mains and 4 desserts we are all full. Very good value with the Tastecard. All the courses are very nice, lollipop chicken and chowmein are family favourites. All in all a great place.

I called this restaurant to book a private room for my family. Every think was ok and the booked supposed to be in 26/07/2016. When we arrived to the restaurant the stuff said there is no room booked. I was very embarrassed and upset.

First time I went to this restaurant was 5 years ago when my friends organised a hen party. We waited nearly two hours, sipping on drinks waiting for the food till eventually they admitted the cooker was on the blink so there would be no food. Why didn't they tell us as soon as they knew so we could salvage our night? Years later I booked this place because it was local and had private dining, really liked the idea of casual dining on the floor seating. Food was good but they made a fuss about the extra charge for private booking on the bill which they never clarified at the time of booking which was really annoying considering how much our party had spent.#foodographylondon

Maida is one of my favourite restaurant, Went with group of friends to celebrate Eid , the food was amazing, service bit slow. Pre ordered Raan with fried rice, what I can say except that they made our Eid memorable.

I hadn't eaten here for a couple of years. The food is still nice with decent portions. The brownie sizzler is really good and highly recommended.

Maida was a very good restaurant before we use to come all the time, but now it lacks service plus the food quality has gone down a lot. The food took a long time to come plus my mixed grill was not cooked properly and also the mocktail had a strand of hair in it. Was very disappointed.

Authentic food but be prepared for serious spice. The mixed grill wasn't the best choice, even the tandoori chicken was massively spicy. However the food was really flavourful and the curries were so tasty. Will go again, just wouldn't choose the mixed grill.Advised to go with someone who speaks Urdu (discount :))

Every time I visit London I go along with my partner who knows the owner and staff very well, the food is amazing! The staff are friendly and I look forward to going back every time!

Being an Indian myself, born and brought up I am accustomed to a specific type of taste of the Indo Chinese food. I have tried several food joints all over the country here in England claiming to cater the Indo Chinese cuisine. It was my second visit to Maida and Maida beats them all put together. What an authentic taste boy. I will highly recommend Indo Chinese lovers to visit Maida. Awesome Hot & Sour Soup, and ridiculously delicious Hakka Noodles. And prices are very reasonable. Many thanks to the staff yesterday also who served us with smiling faces and nothing seemed too small for them. Thank you once again. Surely I will see you soon again in the future.

I thoroughly enjoyed eating at maida .They have lovely soups on their menu ,Indonesia Chinese menu is exceptionally enjoyable,loved their chicken chops and sweet potato chips.Service was really good,waiter kept on top of us and concerned if everything was okay.I will most certainly recommend this restaurant and I will definitely be eating at maida again.

The food at this restaurant is very good, man chow soup (spicy), chicken lollipop, lamb biryani Is what I had when I went and everything was perfect and just the way I like it. Good customer service too. And it was very reasonable. Only thing I didn't quite enjoy was the dessert. Gajar ka halwa! It was very good in taste but it was not more than 2 spoons. Too too too small in portion. I mean it was the smallest I have ever seen and I have been to quite a lot of restaurants that serve gajar halwa. If they had bigger portion for gajar la halwa it would be great but overall it's a great restaurant if you want something different yet very authentic.

Not nearly good enough, overpriced, lazy, unfriendly service, cheap uncomfortable seating, would not recommend.

Called in whilst visiting Bethnal Green as the website reviews are a list of 5* recommendations. On entering it was obviously a locals favourite as there were Indian or Pakistan diners there. I take that as a good sign of authenticity. The food was excellent , portions good, service very good. Unlicensed. Unfortunately Halal which I disapprove of. I don't know why but it just didn't float my boat. I think that is my fault (perhaps the Halal) not theirs as I don't know what they could do extra. I would certainly recommend it and will try again when next in the area unless I can find non Halal.Toilets 5/5

Firstly they promise 1 hour for delivery and then it takes 2 hour. No remorse. This has happened third time in a year. Will stop delivery going fwd. If you have a lot of time to wait for food...then OK. if not then suggest to move on.

On the day I left my cousin in charge he informed me that the guy we had our meetings with was not even there even tho he promised he'll be there, we discussed everything with him so it wasn't looking good I'm starting to get annoyed at this point because I was left with some freshy who couldn't put a sentence in English together so I tried to phone him, his phone was unreachable which pissed me off more because I had all my meetings with him plus I paid all the money upfront already alarm bells started ringing.Food came out later then the discussed time, was supposed to have one waiter per two tables but seemed short staff, more like I waiter per 6 tables which is frustrating because certain tables didn't have waiters so certain people waited longer to get served, on top food was coming out cold, several times food got sent back to re heat I had some late arriving guests who were told food had been finished on top of this they ran out of Coke bottles, like really how the hell do you run out of Coke bottles. I was told by my cousin that the dessert started coming out a decent portion and gradually decreasing in size I told him to go to the kitchen to sort it out because this was embarrassing, he was told not to interfere and was not allowed in the kitchen something very fishy was going on

Please guys be careful they come across very friendly but are very cunning and a bunch of dirty cheatersI paid money upfront for 350 guests but was expecting 300 max certain people didn't plus there was a lot of kids but we were told food has been finished, I believe they didn't even cook food for 250 people On top of this drink bottles have been finished I was told by my brother when he went to the kitchen to sort it out they the putting big pans into the vans as if they were hiding something something dodgy is going on only if I had took my time and not hesitated my own downfall I have lost out on a lot of money and my day won't be remembered for the right reasons but I hope it can help someone else not lose out

The restaurant deco is nice and clean, The food came out on time starters were excellent main was not so good. Giving 3 stats coz the starters were good. Will possibly give another try.

We ordered Chicken Malai tikka and it was raw from inside. Better yet, our waiter recognized it was raw and took it back, and then the head waiter walks in and tells us that is how they cook the chicken: pink from inside. I showed the head waiter the piece I still had on my plate and he still denied it was raw. Who eats raw chicken breast? The other stuff they had was good.

Seriously these weirdo waiters need to be fired, most of them have the personality of wall paper paste, hello ? Ever heard of customer service, being polite? ok even smiling/greeting a customer even maybe?? Such a villager mentality, smile, be nice it really doesn't hurt...The food is good, tasty and of good quality. Service is pants possibly the best description.I frequented this restaurant with friends a few weeks back, prior to this have frequented with kids and husband, the food is the only reason that I decided to take friends to this place. Shame really that service from the poorly mannered waiters hasn't changed since the last time I frequented. Plenty of other restaurants around mind.

We went there for dinner on bank holiday, we ordered the mixed grill which was very good the lamb chops where the best soft tender and succulent, we also ordered the lolly pop chicken from the indo-Chinese menu that was really nice i loved it. For dessert we got there famous sizzling brownie and that was delicious a nice way to end the meal. Service was quick and waiter was really nice.

I have been to this restaurants on main occasions and I have to say, Maida food & service is amazing, honestly they have kept their standards from the first day I visited their restaurant, which was 5 years ago. My wife and I are very fussy when it comes to food but we really trusted Maida with our big day and I am pleased to say they delivered as promised. Til today our guests still praise the food, décor and all the other little bits that matter.Hossain

Super!Had a very good experience. Was seated near the kitchen so we had a good view of the food being prepared without it being too noisy, warm or bothersome. Enjoyed our table there.The food was expensive but it's totally worth visiting the restaurant for a treat or a special occasion.Staff were all polite throughout and helpful when we needed assistance with the baby.Food looked very fresh and we couldn't wait to tuck in. Not a fan of the chips (picture uploaded). Wouldn't order that again. Everything else was super with generous portions.

Went for dessert with friends and made an order upon arrival as we knew what we wanted. Only ordered 2 dessert dishes to be shared amongst 4 people. The place was not busy at all. It took 30 minutes before we had to ask how long the order would take, this then led to another 10 minutes before the order arrived. Was very disappointed in the quality of service. Will not be visiting anytime soon. Dessert was OK.

We went late afternoon so in between service but we were still welcomed and got to order what we wanted from the menu. My friend and I had a starter and main which were fresh, hot and tasty. As the restaurant was empty apart from us I can't really comment on atmosphere and ambience but the restaurant is big, clean and well decorated. Certainly the kind of place if there are loads of you or just a small gathering. It was an enjoyable meal and a very nice restaurant.

I booked this private function at Maida for a bridal shower for my best friend.. Well we got inside and it very smaller and dingy looking that pictures. There iPod docking station was a big fact in booking a paying a 80£ deposit in the first place. We arrived, table was set which was great however the iPod docking station was in tatters and didn't work. As my best friend and her in laws and family were on there way it was a disaster.I had to complain for almost an half and hour to an hour to the manager, he did go out of his way to go to the market and get an aux cable. However as I rang and talked about the docking station to the manager and had he of notified me or even fixed the damn thing this would not of happened.There food from the starters to the main was sublime I must say. Cooked to perfection. We all loved it and could hardly finish desert as we choice the set menu for 15£ pp. Service could be better, the function room needs real tweeks. Besides that good area, looks great upstairs btw.

We come here for the starters only! I would recommend the following in particular:1. Thread chicken - crispy and thin strings of filo pastry wrapped generously around a piece of chicken. Yum! They give quite a bit too. 2. Lamb samosas- these are delicately spiced and gorgeous. Not oily at all. 3. Chicken Kathi wrap - it arrives really hot and filled up to the max! The wrap has the right thickness and the filling is wonderfully spiced. 4. I used to love the lollipop chicken, but I think they've changed the recipe and I didn't like it. My fiancé loves the Singapore noodles with chicken. Overall, it's a lovely atmosphere and the tables are nicely spaced apart. Lastly, we like to sit by the chef's kitchen! We always return and look forward to our next visit!

I'm surprised at the poor reviews this place gets. I've visited many times with my family using our 2 Tastecards. Never had a bad experience. We especially like the lollipop chicken and thread chicken starters and the chow meins, paneer tikka masala and biryani mains. Food is tasty and flavoursome with decent portions.Excellent value using our Tastecards and never had any negative experience with service. They are always happy to pack leftovers and attentive to any requests.Overall, recommended!

We ordered a take away consisting of 5 dishes; Chilli Panner, Veg Haka Noodles, Veg Manchurian Balls, Spring Rolls and Kung Pao Fries. The food was oily and did not have much flavour, the Chilli Paneer was the biggest disappointment, there was a severe lack of flavour and the dish tasted as if it had been watered down, the sauce was almost of a curry like texture and the flavour was an poor attempt at Indo-Chinese. The noodles were undercooked and simply had a lack of flavour as did the spring rolls which were filled with only one vegetable and were considerably oily. We were fascinated by the description of premium quality potato chips which when delivered seemed like they had simply been tossed in tomato ketchup and chilli sauce. All in all a bad experience, that was an extremely poor value for money, wouldn't order from them again.

We went to the brick lane joint. Very good food with a good vareity to select from. Staff and service was good. Special mention of Mr. Tahir who really served us with great care on all 3 occasions.

All I tried to do was to book a family quater at this restaurant and they made it so difficult. They was very reluctant to book it in for us and wanted to charge me a deposit. Huh? It's a restaurant not a flipping hotel room. Didn't book in the end and I don't think I'll be going there.

I came here with my mum. The place is nice and clean and it was busy. The lamb chops are to die for. We had the biryani and sagaloo. The only thing was it was slightly salty. But the service was friendly and not bad price.

Ce restaurant est plutôt bien, mais on peut quand même lui reprocher un problème d'accueil et de service. Le personnel est très froid et apparement fatigué, voir blaser. Au delà de ça, la nourriture est plutôt bonne, les plats bien garnis et apparement de bonne fraîcheur. Si vous voulez manger indien dans ce quartier, je recommande quand même.

Bland food...............No flavour.................no spice....... and no salt....................what a shame :(

My friend's son got married on the 10th aug and the food and service was great. There was plenty of food and we had 3 refills on our table. My friend phoned and asked me to write a negative feed back about this caterers. Morally it would have been wrong for me to do so. I am only writing what I feel is true.

I attended a family wedding in August at Fairlop waters. The family had spent considerable time and money organising the wedding but it was clear they were massively let down by their caterers - considering food being the most important aspect of asian weddings. Maida catering were entrusted with the huge responsibility to the family and their guests (for the large sums of money paid) and did a huge disservice considering the expense. Areas failed include:- setup of the venue started very very late and this had a huge knock on effect on wedding proceedings (including guest entry and food serving)with the hosts losing out on venue hire time.- food was inadequate for number of guests and no refills were provided when trays emptied.- food was served cold and of poor quality which many guests complained of- inadequate waitering staff with many tables complaining of poor service and rude waiters- soft drinks had run out and no refills which was shocking After speaking to the family i was shocked to learn that the events manager of the company failed to turn up on the day and was unreachable - family negotiated with him regarding all aspects of planning and also paid all money upfront.Absolutely appalling by maida catering to treat a family's prestigious occasion in such a manner. Please approach with great care and seek other caterers who have a long history of doing what they get paid for - making your day special. The family had nothing to show for the money spent and it left a dark cloud over an otherwise well planned wedding event.

Maida is a great place to eat; we loved it. The starters were great including purple coloured kebabs containing beetroot and perfectly cooked chicken tikka. The dessert (ice cream with brownie on a sizzling plate - very original!) was very delicious. The atmosphere is pleasant although the venue is a bit dark. Not pushchair friendly at all however. Reasonably priced.When we went back another day the place had been hired out for a wedding and we were turned away which was frustrating. Maybe check before going I would say! Overall- very nice food and original dishes so we would definitely go back!

This is the restaurant that never let me down. I am a regular . Since my last visit , they have decorated the place. I give them thumbs up.

I was invited to a wedding. The food, atmosphere, venue and the service was just awful. There was a shortage of food. At one point I tried giving a hand and one of the waitress got extremely rude to me in front of a lot of the people she insulted me. I was just shocked at how the staff was extremely rude it was pathetic. I would not recommend anyone to book from this restaurant or even visit them.

I went to wedding with my wife and three children (three two and a baby). The food was extremely cold and no where near enough. Me and my wife hardly ate because there was barely enough food my children let alone enough for the other people on the table. When we asked for more food, the waiter rudely replied there was not enough. I only realised our table was not the only table complaining. The drinks were also in short supply. It was a real let down as the venue was lovely and you can tell the groom had spent a lot of money. I strongly advise people approach maida with caution.

Shown to a table, waited 10 minutes for menus and a further 20 to order - and we had to ask, otherwise who knows how long it might have been. Vegetables in the curry were bland and mushy, patently from a bag of frozen mixed veg from iceland or somesuch (small bits of cauliflower, circular carrot slices, chopped green beans). Naan was alright but not amazing, same with the rice, and the chicken in my starter had a big, bloody bit in it that totally put me off.

Ordered a deluxe mixed grill. Not even that much meat and very bland. Biryani-bland, mixed fried rice was ok but nothing too special. The noodles were pretty bland as well. I can cook much better. There was just no flavour,spice or salt in any of the food.I wouldn't recommend going here. Theres much better indian restuarants in London.
