The food is good and very good atmosphere for friends and family

Hi everyone This resturant I don't know who are these people and what they think they are running, I am experiencing this for 1st time. My wife ordered Food for two different places one at home address and other for me at work place and they delivered both order's at same place at my home and refused to mind their own mistake and eventually through back on us my refused to take the food. But at the end the rider was nice resturant called us back and apologise and accepted for the little mistakes and place the orders to the right destination happy with it Thank you.

Maemes is my FAV grilled food shop in Portsmouth! I’ve ordered a handful of times and never have I been disappointed. The flavours are SO delish and the rice and chips are 10/10 (chips aren’t usually great anywhere). Ly Maemes xoxo

Halal pizzas. The service is excellent. The pizza deals are good. For a takeaway you can get two medium size pizzas for £11. The quality of the pizzas is also good.

I think a 3.5 would be a more accurate rating but as Google maps won't let me, 3 is the best I can do. I've been here a couple of times and, while nice, there is nothing particularly special about it. Not much more you can say though I will quickly comment on the peri peri fries. While nice and spicy, they were lacking in other fla, leading to a relatively boring dish to eat.

I got my food on time and food was really delicious.

Ordered a combo and items were missing. I had to wait about 35 minutes to get it redelivered.

Just had the most amazing chicken wings! Perfectly crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and that sauce was just the right combo of tangy and spicy. Total flavor bomb in every bite! Can't wait to go back for more!

The chicken flavours were really nice, chips were good. Only downside was the portion of the shish was less than quarter of the box, was mainly chips, would definitely expect more chicken. But enjoyed it still.

Maemes is the best restaurant/takeaway in Portsmouth by far. In all the years we have been using Maemes we have never had a bad meal. We have eaten in, also used the delivery service and collected it ourselves. And everything is always on point. Food is always piping hot. Truly the best flavours. We have grilled chicken, '' sauce we have is Hot". The spices are just amazing and the chicken just falls off the bone. If you get a platter, get the whole chicken, chicken wings, comes with fries, rice, salad and a drink. This is well worth the money and everything that is served is great quality and flavours of food. 3 of us have this regularly. My partner has also had the burgers which he loves too. Forget the big brand chicken shops. Once you go here, you won't be going back anywhere else. You won't be disappointed in Maemes. Great customer service too. Thank you for always serving great, hot food with amazing flavours.

Delivery was supposed to be 25-45 minutes, arrived almost an hour after placing the order, food mostly cold and not good quality. Very disappointing. Would not order again.
