Came here for breakfast on Saturday, ordered a veggie breakfast and a full English. Veggie breakfast turned up with minimal beans and no fries eggs, no one checked if we were ok so went to bar after to say I had no eggs. Offered the fried eggs to take away, no apology, just a ‘why didn’t you tell your server’ because no one came other than to chuck the plates on the table! Generally a good pub but won’t be grabbing breakfast here again.

I note that the address given is still for the wrong pub. Anyway, just before the CV-19 lockdown, found myself in Worcester again, with time to kill. Nice sunny spring day, fancied sitting outside with a pint or two & a book. Get served quickly & pleasantly, out I go. Within a minute I am accosted by one of a pair of 'young ladies' who requests I give her a cigarette. For a quiet life, give her a rollie, as she shouts down her expensive mobile phone to someone called 'Bab' - a common term in the city. She then complains that it hasn't got a filter, & tries blagging money for a drink. I refuse, & she & her equally 'babbish' friend ask everyone else outside. I know the bar staff can't be everywhere, but...Anyway, finished my drink & went to a pub where I wasn't going to be hassled.

This used to be my regular pub years ago, when it was known as the Crown. (The address above refers to another pub in Redditch)- & as was recently stranded by the Severn flooding & lack of bus service decided to have a pint. I'm no snob about 'Spoons pubs. They are cheap & consistent, & if in a strange town I'll head for one. But I'm afraid the clientele in this one lived up to the media stereotype of their customers.

Even though the staff are rude and clueless, im going to give this place a 4 out of 5 as the food is good, and both food and drinks are brilliant value for money! It has got to be the cheapest pub in redditch, which is what I like :-)

Visited here last night with family. Told that my adult children (21,20, 18 & 18) would have to have ID to allow me to have a glass of wine even though they were having soft drinks. Company policy apparently. This is not clear before ordering or paying for drinks. Bar staff rude to my son with the statement " you don't look 18". Not really a very tactful way of asking for his ID and the others were panicked when they said they didn't have ID on them as they knew they were not going to be drinking. Thanks for making my first drink out for a while a less than enjoyable experience.

I always kinda liked weathespoons for its price and its consistency but the last 3 times I visited the particular place my burger patty has always been burned (all 3 times in the top floor). Also all my friend's food was burned as well To all people, please use the other weatherspoons just at the next street

I took my children in for an Afternoon meal after a visit to the cinema. My kids ordered a hot dog and Chips and chicken nuggets and chips, I had rump steak, cant go wrong, surely? Wrong, very wrong! The meals came out after twenty minutes. My plate of steak, chips, peas had an extra,it looked like scrapings off the grill but it was moist and a lot of it. The waiter said the kitchen staff thought it to be a chip that got squashed by the steak, wrong! I'm not thick, this lump of vile mess tasted putrid, it was mixed in the peas and smeared on the steak. It was take your breathe away gagging bad. I will be calling for the kitchen and the staff to be inspected on this matter. Do yourselves a favour, avoid this place.

If you want a pint before mid day don't go here! Coffee coffee coffee endless people piling in for coffee. Any normal manager with a single brain cell would have one staff member preparing all the coffees and the other staff serving but be prepared to wait a good twenty minutes watching the staff queue at the coffee machine. Great in the evening. But unless you are female and own a very short skirt be prepared and take your id whatever age you are otherwise you won't get in!

Had not been in this Witherspoon's for over two years and was disappointed by the fall in standards. The first member of staff we encountered was very surly. We had three ketchup bottles on our table and all three were empty. The whole place looked ready for a spring clean. Shame it was not a more pleasant experience as I had taken my teenage grandson for lunch.

My son is at uni in worcester so we decided to pay our second visit to wetherspoons for a meal as our first one was lovely, we were again not disappointed...took family and all 10 meals were bought out together and spot on, service was quick and simple and staff were attentive and very pleasant. I have read reviews on this pub and this is certainly NOT the experience we have found. In fact my brother in law who wasn't keen on eating here said it was the best large mixed grill he had ever had. Every plate was cleared. Thanks and well done.

I went in on a lunch time, yes it was busy, but rather than get my food out to me in a shocking state in 5 mins, I really wouldn't mind waiting 15! As others have said, I know what to expect from a Weatherspoons, but this was in a league all of its own. I ordered a ham and cheese panini - not hard to get right.. WRONG. Ham was slapped in and it was very under-done. Other person I was with ordered a Club sandwich. Again, very thrown together (so much so, the waiter was putting the filling back in when he got to our table) and the bacon was a very dubious looking grey. The chicken was rock solid and resulted in it not being eaten. Didn't see the point in complaining as I had very little confidence that replacements would have been any better. Disgusting and dissapointing.

Cheap, but you get what you pay for. I had the mixed grill, as it was on offer. Very greasy and poor cuts of meat.

Cheap drinks encouraging young, loud drinkers in. Maybe I am getting too old now, but this place just has no charm. I remember when this was the Crown Pub, and it used to feel much more intimate. Just not my kind of place, but it looks clean, and serves a purpose for the younger clientelle.

We have been in to eat quite a few times since moving to Worcester in April. Staff always friendly, food service is quick, and all the meals have been tasty enough. I can't find anything to complain about the food for the price, it is just basic pub food and anyone who goes in looking for a fine dining experience, or anything other than cheap and cheerful will be disappointed. We have only been in around afternoon and early evening, and would only visit at night for drinks on a night out, I don't think it is not a destination for an evening meal. My only criticism is that the tables could do with a wipe down more often.

had to come here after my ordeal at the slug and lettuce. the drinks (in particular the cocktails) are great and cheap. the food... well it was nice food but it wasn't great. they didn't have a lot of choice on the menu - particularly for vegetarians. when the food arrived it looked like something i could have easily bunged in the oven at home. i don't dislike this place but i wouldn't recommend coming here for a special event. it's just good for getting drunk at at the beginning of the night.

Lloyds is great just for a few drinks out with friends although we have eaten here a few times but I wouldn't say it's all that great. The food is usually undercooked but cheap and the place never seems that clean, although some of the puddings can be pretty yummy. However the bar staff are friendly and the drinks are good value, I recommend the pitchers!

The other reviewers are in the most part spot on, this is a Wetherspoon's so we don't expect the earth. But this is one of the worst if this was your only experience of the brand you would likely despair of it, especially since the other one in Worcester is no better!!If anyone from the company reads these, a little tip windows and daylight is good!! Close one of them and get an alternative venue, show Worcester what these places can be like. Rather than the daytime drinking dives they currently are here. I personally like the brand its cheap, cheerful and accessible. But even for breakfast I take a deep breath if I take my daughter in here I know daytime drinking is part of the customer base, but do you really need two pubs so similar less than a quarter of a mile apart, please refurbish one of them!! It will be worth while, a nicer brighter atmosphere would attract the people back.

...we've ever been to in terms of service and quality of food. We know what to expect from the Wetherspoons brand, it's never going to be cordon bleu, but we always get what we order and it's of an acceptable quality - not on this occasion. From the Deli Deal menu we ordered the Reggae Reggae chicken wrap and BBQ chicken pannini. Where do you start. The BBQ chicken pannini should have contained bacon and cheese. There was neither ? There were 3 small pieces of chicken sitting in a smear of sauce. The Reggae Reggae chicken was basically a chicken & mayonnaise wrap - there was nothing remotely Caribbean about it. Both meals appeared thrown onto a plate with a few chips. The exasperated waitress we complained to advised that the kitchen was short staffed (we presumed it was a bad day, but looking at other reviews this seems the norm ?) and it had been busy. On a positive note and to her credit she immediately offered to refund the cost of the meals - I suspect rather than go back into the kitchen and relay another complaint, of which there seemed a number on the day we were there. The poor food only exacerbated the frustration of waiting for a seeming age to be served in the first place - the huge bar downstairs was staffed by one person, the bar upstairs wasn't staffed at all, as the bar person seemed to be doubling up clearing tables.

This place is an absolute dive. From the staff to the food to the clientele (Who cant even spell LLOYDS..) its all extremely poor. On one occassion while having an afternoon drink with a friend and watching football my friend (who is 28) went to the bar and was refused a drink after they had ordered, the bar tender opened the drinks, then decided to go on some sort of ego trip and ask for ID which my friend didnt have on them. My friend was annoyed as half an hour earlier they had been served by the same person. Decideing not to make a scene my friend came back to the table and watied for me to finish my drinka as we decide to move on.. the bar tender then came round the corner an told us to leave as my frined didnt have ID?! (It was 1500hrs in the afternoon and there were young familys in there too, im sure the babys in the prams wenrnt over 18 and didnt have ID but they were obviously ok to stay, weird!) We then left feeling very annoyed and confused. On anohter occassion some time before this incident, a friend and myself went on a thurday to 'curry club' when the food arrived my friend realised the samosas were still frozen inside, without making a fuss she took them to the bar and explained, the staff took them away and half an hour later came to the table to two more somosas also frozen inside.. ?The service here is poor, staff seem to have low moral, rubbish atmosphere, cold in some areas, the only nice part of Lloyds is the female toilets. Seriously dont bother with this place unless everywhere else in Worcester has shut down and you are skint. Even then you would be better off staying at home to have a few drinks.

I visited the Worcester Wetherspoons on 17th October. My husband ordered mixed grill and when it arrived it was cold and the steak was totally raw and inedible. We complained and they said sorry but did not reheat or recook, so most of the meal was left. We had already paid when we ordered. Very annoyed and disappointed. We complained to the waiter and when he left another customer asked us what was cold so we told him. He said that he lived locally and had complained before when he had received cold food and said he heard lots of customers complaining about cold food. He said that he only orders ham, egg and chips to try to get a hot meal. Obviously the staff have been told of these problems and choose to do nothing about it. I would suggest that you avoid this outlet, I know I will.

Came here twice for some lunch while shopping. Everything on the menu sounded nice, but when it came out it was disappointing. Lasagne was not very warm at all, and cold by the time I got half way through it. Salad tasted awful. Second visit, lots of empty tables but with coffee cups etc still left all over them. When we found an empty table, it hadn't been wiped and was covered in sticky marks and crumbs. No one offered to wipe it, in fact we didn't see any staff at all to ask! A glass of water had been left on the window sill by our table, and the steak club menu was printed on paper and covered in gravy marks. Staff were in no rush to clear empty tables around us. Food came out and was served on a dirty plate! Again no staff to talk to. I work in a restaurant, and have done for 3 years, and I can't believe how badly run it was... Avoiding it from now on!

Was in Worcester at the weekend and went to Lloyds for breakfast, the breakfast was typical Wetherspoons, pretty good but not great. Had a nice day shopping and decided to return to the Lloyds bar for a drink after an enjoyable meal. As we walked up the bouncer put his arm across the door and said 'No trainers', when I asked why he just repeated 'No trainers'. No idea why this policy is in place, it is a Wetherspoons after all, hardly the Ritz. For the record I was wearing £100 Diesel trainers, not some tatty Primark ones. Went to the Slug & Lettuce instead, a much classier bar who were happy for me to be wearing trainers.

It is what it is. It has no pretensions. Good for a refuel but don't have any high expectations. Good for a cheap night out for drinking but go for food elsewhere. A cattle market later at night at weekends. Avoid unless thats what you are into. Big premises but strange lay out. Service variable. Had the 5 bean chilli and got served prawn crackers instead of tortilla chips! Good for cheal drink.
