After a nice walk along Lord Street, we were ready for a bit of lunch. We went to Lord café after reading some good reviews, we enjoyed excellent service and the corn beef hash was absolutely 10/10 .

The best corned beef hash I’ve ever had! Friendly staff, clean cafe would definitely come again, and will have the CBH again! My husband enjoyed his breakfast platter too

Sunday Morning Read with a great sandwich and a hot black coffee ☕️ in a up market cafe in real Pleasants surroundings and marvellous service. There are not many things in life that can boost well being but a smile and a simple hello can make such a difference and every time I go to this particularly nice cafe one is always greeted with a smile. Their food is so good It is one of my go to destinations, specially for a Sunday morning. I love it there 🙏🏾

Just came to Southport for long weekend with family ask locals were was good for food was told lords cafe bar so myself and my two girls went as we got there my daughter with severe autism was in need of the toilet so as we walked in I took her to the toilet the guy came running and shouted what are you doing can I help you bad we was at the ladies toilet door I said my daughter is going to the toilet he said the are for customers I told him we was customers that when she returned from the toilet we would be ordering then he told me i should have asked to use the toilet so I asked do tell all your customers to ask to go to the toilet he was very abrupt mannered so we never ordered there I just walked out in utter shock and will not be returning back

Great food. We had soup of the day pea and ham It was gorgeous then the steak it was perfectly cooked and tasted lovely. Really friendly staff. Also in a great location

Been here a few times for breakfast but won’t be returning. Breakfasts average. Service very unfriendly and miserable which I presume was the owner (man). I’m a believer that if you clearly don’t enjoy interacting with members of the public then go and do something else! Place was cold and very quiet which given the lovely warm welcome that is on offer I’m not surprised. There are many other excellent places for breakfast which we will now be going to.

What an amazing place this is . So lovely to be greeted by Charlotte and her beautiful smile . Always a smile and a little chat . Absolutely no wait for our drinks . Rudi was on hand today to quickly take our orderes . Funny and friendly . The food here is fantastic,never had a bad meal. Beautifully cooked and presented . I would 100% recommend this place and hope you enjoy it as much as we do .

The breakfast was well cooked but average when compared to other establishments in Southport. The experience was completely ruined by a very rude manager.

The manager was incredibly impolite, not even offering a smile. His responses to our questions were so curt, as if we were a nuisance. It made us feel uneasy, especially for the younger staff member. He would not provide an official receipt until we had paid, we then found out we were overcharged. Food was average. Do not recommend.

RUDE MANAGER/OWNER Don't get a text message on your phone in this place or you will have a rude manager at your table, we won't be back, our £60 a month must be a drop in the ocean. So our custom went to another cafe with friendly staff.

I had read good things about Lords Breakfasts and decided to go with my husband today to try it out. It was busy which is always a good sign but Rudi seated us quickly and showed us excellent service throughout. The food looked beautiful on the plate and tasted lovely. What a great find. Lovely staff, super service and food that was well priced. Thank you Lords. We will be back.

First time here, decided to come for some breaky after dropping some gifts off. Had a Hazelnut Latte and a standard breaky (not the big one which I would have gone for) the Latte was lovely, the breakfast was great, a bit odd having some Jam with the breakfast (See pic) The breaky was fabulous, it filled me for that size. The Toast would have been nice coming on a side plate if your putting jam on it, won't mix well with the beans etc. The place is not that huge, but it is lovely, to get a table best time would be in the morning between 10 to 11 ish, will be a bit quiet then. We just got their just after 11 and manage to get a table. Definitely come again, might try for the large one next time.

Called in on a cold December afternoon, very clean place and above all warm and comfortable. I ordered a stake baguette and my partner fish fingers. Both arrived in a reasonable time and hot. We also noted our cups had been warmed for our drinks which was a really nice touch. Food was excellent, well presented and full of flavour, my steak was served with a steak knife but this was not need as it was tender and fell apart. Staff very friendly and bill reasonable. Will dine here again on our next visit to the town.

I hired Lords Cafe and Bar for my partners 40th birthday at night time and absolutely had the best time! From the beginning Chris was extremely helpful and accommodating, she went above and beyond helping put decorations up for me. Nothing was too big and ask, communication fantastic and the venue looked great. Perfect place for private hire with a cosy atmosphere :) would recommend to anyone to hire for a party!

Nice and clean food served hot not lukewarm. Generous servings reasonably priced. Tables far too small to seat 4 people and have all crockery/condiments & utensils on. Would be nice if they were dog friendly.

The food is always great here and it's favourable to sit outside if the weather allows.I'm not keen on the interior. The leathery sofa seats are cheap looking and slightly grotty. Sitting in the window would be preferable.Staff are very pleasant and service good.

After trying to find somewhere to provide a cooked breakfast after 12 noon, we found Lords and so happy we did. Everything was cooked perfectly and it was just fab, it was reasonably priced, included juice, toast with jam or marmalade and was very relaxing and enjoyable.

Visit this place for breakfast and have mostly really enjoyed it. However we have had a couple of bad experiences on our last two visits. I don't think that I would return again to be honest. Ordered a full breakfast that was really nice but both eggs were really hard. Come on chef we all like a runny egg and you weren't even busy and should be checking what you send out. You did sort it but my son ended up eating alone. My chicken caeser wrap was extremely dry and tasteless but I couldn't be bothered complaining. Service was faultless to be honest but you need a chef that is competent.

I had been recommended the Lords Cafe by numerous friends so decided to try it for my birthday. We ordered the light breakfast and it was beautiful! The cafe was busy and the atmosphere was great on a Saturday morning, we were lucky to get a seat! The service was brilliant and can’t fault anything! Can’t wait to go back!

I had heard good reviews about the breakfast T Lords Cafe Bar so thought I would try it.When I arrived there was three empty tables (outside only due to Covid) I sat at the first, table gor three and was instantly told I would have to move, I sat at a table for four and was again told to move, I stood and waited for a few minutes hoping I would be told where I could sit, but totally ignored. There was a table for two that was empty but it was not offered. A word of warning, if your on your own you probably won't get a table, they may see one person as a loss of trade. To only be told 'you can't sit there' and not be offered an alternative I found very poor customer service.The breakfast platter may be good, I will never know. But the customer service to somebody on thier own is atrocious.

A very expensive duck wrap...........two small wraps with duck inside and a modicum of salad....... my wrong choice, think it was £8 plus..........But the cappuccino was nice. My husbands tuna melt was much better though similarly priced. It was though nice to see people about.

Decided to try out this smart looking place. After walking past for months, well we were extremely pleased to say least. Staff polite, tracking and tracing done ok. Hand cleanser provided, table clean, table service prompt, order came fast, food well presented, food tasted great, fresh and well made. Bill was responsible. Wish we had been before now. Will definitely recommend this venue, for polite service, good food and good food choices. Please support GOOD local businesses were possible during these difficult times ✅✡✡❤❤❤

We arrived at our staycation early so decided to try this Cafe for breakfast and we weren't disappointed. The food was delicious and the hubby loved the fact he could have a beer with his brekkie (well he was on holiday). Trendy cafe which was clean and the space between tables was enough to keep you safe. Staff were lovely and efficient.Wouldn't think twice about going back...YUMMY

Undoubtedly the best Full English Breakfast in Southport....most of the time! Normally faultless food with great staff, but occasionally the standard of food has dipped a little and it has been when the place has been packed. However would still highly recommend.

We love Lords! It is only small but now has outside seating. Often we go in and have to choose somewhere else because it is packed. The menu is lovely fresh food and they now do chips and wedges which they didn't used to have. Breakfasts are delicious and the staff are really lovely.

Me and husband tried to come here for breakfast but due to the lack of education from staff and the chef we had to leave. My husband enquired about gluten free options on the menh to be responded with "Can you not tell...?" No thats why we were asking. Then after explaining to the staff member about rusk in sausages ect they then replied, "Well they are cumberland sausages if that helps."No. When people ask about ingredients and what is in their food there should be some basic education of allergens and what could happen with cross contamination. Disgusting. We left very quickly and wont return. Not good for those who have dietary needs.

Had the steak breakie and best we have ever had, the steak was cooked medium rare, just how I like it. Had a couple of beers each to and it come to less then £30... My only regret is not adding the Cumberland, a hash brown and black pudding

We went in for some lunch and 2 of us ordered the curried parsnip soup and our little one had a toasted teacake. The soup was clearly homemade and came with a nice chunk of bread and was delicious. The food came very quickly and we will definitely return. Also saw the giant brekkie which also looked delicious

Good breakfast menu. We both went with cooked, one vegetarian and one meat. Both well received - orders took a fair bit of time to come out but it was busy so this is understandable. Extra thick bloomer toast was a nice addition instead of the regular horrible sliced bread. Neither of us especially enjoyed our tomatoes as they appeared undercooked however everything aside from this was good - we would go back. I do think that hash browns should be included in the cost of the full English instead of paying 85p extra per hash brown, there is however one hash brown included in the price of the veggie breakfast. We thought our table could have done with a bit more of a wipe over, the menus were sticky and the teapot and cup did look rather worn but it did feel clean overall inside. This is obviously a very popular place for a reason and based on our experience I would recommend giving it a try. The quality of food was good and it came out piping hot.

Asked for recommendations off friends for a good full English breakfast and here I came. What a gem, clean, airy and bright with friendly smiley service. Good options on menu and reasonably priced. Chose the Breakfast platter plus pot of tea as an extra. Tasty, plentiful, well cooked. The number of diners in early speaks for itself. You won't be disappointed.

Been advised by a few people to give it a go but kept putting it off. Eventually decided to give it a try and glad we did. Great all day breakfast and lots of other options on the menu. Coffee not bad either. Service quick and reasonably pleasant, the only slight complaint would be it’s quite a bit more expensive than your normal cafe.

Went for Saturday morning breakfast relaxed atmosphere, plenty of choice on menu large breakfast very good value not for faint hearted , lighter breakfast also good and both included glass if fresh orange,I asked to swap toast for black pudding and assistant very kindly obliged

Down in some sites as dog friendly, but it isn't. Also don't serve food outside so no use for dog owners.

It was really busy when we nipped in for breakfast but we were soon fed and watered. The breakfast although not outstanding was good with plenty of it, the large plates did however cramp up the small tables. The toast and jams also come on top of the main meal which again does hamper your ability to be able to enjoy your meal comfortably. The cafe is very clean and the staff nice and friendly its just the small minor issues that stop me giving it a 5 star rating.

Visited Lords Cafe today and enjoyed a large Diet Coke, pot of tea and vegetarian breakfast - all for a little over £10 - great value for money in a lovely place. The staff are friendly and the food came out fresh and hot.

Went for lunch a couple of days ago. I ordered a coronation chicken wrap. When it arrived it didn’t look or taste like coronation chicken. I opened it up and basically it was a wrap which had been pasted with a medium hot watery curry sauce and then chicken placed inside and folded. I told the waitress it wasn’t coronation chicken, she replied along the lines of that is how we do it, if we make it fresh each day there is too much wastage! Made no sense to me. She then just walked away.

Dont eat out for breakfast very often as most places sell barely warm cheap produce.

Sought out this place for a breakfast after an excessive night out in Southport. Outstanding breakfast platter. High quality ingredients, plenty of it and served nicely. Good coffee, quick service and very friendly staff. Felt so much better after the breakfast! Highly recommend.

Had the Starter breakfast - consisted of really good quality ingredients (particularly the cumberland sausage). Liked that it came with a glass of orange juice and jam for our toast. Coffee was very nice too.

Just wanted to share my thoughts about my recent lunch from Lords. As I write November is fast approaching and the weather has started to deteriorate with temperatures falling so I and my wife indulged in some classic comfort food. We both opted for the home made pies which were on the menu. The portions we received fully matched expectations, they were home cooked, generous and beautifully presented and we both agreed absolutely delicious. Great food highly recommended

Our family of 5 went for the breakfast and myself and my husband went for the gully monty with extra hash browns and black pudding. It was really yummy but felt there should have been more meat balanced with the amount of beans and condiments (only a v small sausage and 2 rashers of bacon). Very tasty though and great hash browns! Recommend large coffee as the standard was tiny. Also, note they do not have child seats.

The breakfast here is excellent and always that way, have been enjoying breakfast/brunch here for many years and never been disappointed, always busy but service is still friendly and swift, lovely coffee.

Have been here several times for brunch and it is consistently good. We had the steak & sausage breakfast and that filled us up for the rest of the day. In fact husband and son only had a light tea, and I had nothing else! It's excellent value and comes with a glass of orange juice and gorgeous toast with jam/marmalade.

First time here and what a lovely cafe it is, with plenty of choice and pleasant staff. I had a Coronation Chicken wrap which was really tasty and Mr J3 had a Club Sandwich. We both enjoyed these. Will definitely return.

Visited for breakfast on a weekday at about 11am. We ordered two small breakfasts and the size was perfect. The sausage was delicious and bacon crisp. The two slices of granary toast were thick and yummy and came with butter and marmalade.

Lords has a lovely relaxed atmosphere and do wide a range of dishes, though somehow I never get round to trying them as the wonderful English breakfast (with a good veggie option for those that want it) is too good to miss.
