Read about this place in MCN so stopped off when in the area for lunch on a Monday. Unfortunately it failed to live up to reports. Food expensive for what it is, not great quality and slow to arrive despite there only being a dozen people in the cafe. Staff just about managed to talk to customers. Probably better when more bikers about but otherwise I wouldn't bother going back. Should be interesting when the new Caffine and Machine on the other side of the road opens later in the month and provides some competition.

Was out for a blast on the bikes with family and friends in Salisbury when my cousin said, "Let's head to Loomies. I'm from the southeast and aware of this cafe but first time visiting it. Friendly bunch working there and fellow bikers alike. The food decant enough, kinda typical greasy spoon/cafe. I ordered x2 Soz and Bacon baps as I'm greedy just over 11 quid. Did not wait long and came out piping hot, and went down a treat. My relative had a pulled pork burger and looked very satisfied, given the speed it went down his neck. Would visit again if out that neck of the woods.

We usually stop here on our way home from Gatwick along the A272. It's a motorcycle place but they don't mind if you arrive by car and we always find the staff and customers friendly. The sausage and egg bap with a mug of tea makes a good value, filling meal, when we stopped it was busy but the food was served up quickly. If I have one complaint it's that I find the bap a bit soft and would prefer something with a bit more substance. (But then I have the same problem with the bun used with most burgers too, so maybe it's just me.)

Great spot for bike riders but something has to be done about the food service on busy days. Mid morning visit and I get ticket 114 and then hear 78 over the speaker. Waited over an hour for breakfast and when I walked past the grill there was 3 pieces of bacon and 2 sausages when a majority of people were ordering breakfasts. One of many times I have had to wait a long time for quite a simple meal. The food service really needs to improve. You can't cook one meal at a time.

Dropped in once again, great place to see see loads of bikes but the filter coffee is awful, weak no coffee taste( apparently they cannot get any decent cofffe, had to take it back got a refund. The burger was greasy with minimal meat, at £8.50 they are taking the mick. Staff couldn’t care but I then it’s the boss that’s a countable. Go here but bring your own food and drink or go to the petrol station next door.

Ive been there twice now. The first gristle burger I had was, I thought, a one off! But no, on the second visit they excelled themselves and the content was even more gristle. At 8 quid and more for a gristle burger his profit margin must be phenomenal. Great meeting place for bikers but is dependant on bikers accepting poor quality food at exorbitant prices.

Well back after nearly 2 years, they have adapted to the Covid rules and had an excellent breakfast bap and coffee outside socially distanced. Popped in to the shop, wasn't there last time, excellent service and bought more than I'm going to tell the wife. Excellent service and great advice, bought a helmet cam based on the chaps recommendation. Fitted it, fired it up and really happy with it. I'll be back for an intercom when the sun shines again. Great service from the café and the shop, see you again sooner.

Stopped off at Loomies as it was a convenient point for a break in my ride. I would not rush back. But I did have to rush for the toilet a bit later on. The food I ordered went straight through me. But even if the food was safe, I would not rate Loomies highly for food. I couldn't see anything veggie on the menu. Come on guys, this is 2020 - veganism is big now. And I think the days of bikers liking crap food are long over. I would suggest focussing on quality and hygiene over cheap staff and cheap prices.

Loomies is a well know biker cafe and is a great meeting place for like minded people. It's got used crash helmets and bike boots filled with flowers and plants outside and on the inside the light shades are empty whisky bottles hanging upside down, so it's got some quirky features and it's worth having a look at the photos and pictures on the wall. There's one where a bloke is in bed with his motorcycle. I few months ago I eat a really good vegi breakfast, but since then the food has not been so good. The place really could do with a refurb and the purchase of better quality food. Some healthy options would'nt go amiss either. Having just (20/9/17) checked the Food Standards Agency website, Food Hygiene Ratings, I see that in May 2017 this cafe was award a 4 out of 5, 4 being GOOD. I'll continue visiting this cafe, but avoid their fried foods.

Big burger with like minded people. The world is lacking in Biker Cafs and Loomies is redressing the balance. I've been a few times, usually on the way to Bahnstormers to part with a few hundred pound on a bike service so cheering myself up beforehand at Loomies is somewhat of a tradition. Very popular motorcycle cafe, packed on a sunny weekend with bikers of all types. Probably all hungry. The assumption that motorcycle riders like grubby biker cafes is one the owners have made by mistake. Shocking service, not that there is any as you order and collect food yourself once your order number is finally bellowed over a loud speaker. Drinking the warm, light brown liquid passed as coffee is better done without adding cold milk from a grubby self service milk machine that's well overdue a wash. Once the money is rudely snatched from you hand the 45 min wait for food isn't worth the wait either. The cheapest ingredients possible make up a serious sub standard breakfast, I made the mistake of asking for the bacon to be well cooked and got grunted at. It wasn't well cooked. Pub over the road serves a better breakfast and your feed don't stick to the carpet. You'll not the people in the car park enjoying their Starbucks coffee purchased from the petrol station next door, tells you all you need to know. Sadly missed by the management. Nice car park. But like most attendees , don't go inside.

I used to be a regular at Loomies, and ate there often. The plummeting quality of the food has put me off anything other than coffee and canned drinks, and I choose other places in preference. The sausage and bacon bap used to be a favourite, but cremated, crunchy sausages and overcooked bacon, and a burned taste, have put me off re ordering that! Shame, because it used to be an iconic bikers meeting place. Now it trades on former reputation, and location. Sad to say the food is best avoided!

I visited with several friends Good Friday morning. We all had a cooked breakfast. Eggs, bacon etc were fine, but the sausages were poor. We were told we would have approx a 20 minute wait...which was fine, as it was obviously a busy morning... so I presume the sausages would have been freshly cooked. They were however, without exception, over cooked and very dry, with little flavour. The skin was very tough and we had to saw through them with a knives...fortunately the knives were up to the job... I regularly have a cooked breakfast when staying away etc...and sorry to say, the sausages left a great deal to be required. The breakfast is not cheap either...so somebody needs to look at this IMHO!

At the end of 2014 Loomies was set to close, then Paul and William stepped in to keep it open. Everyone was grateful and happy. What has gone wrong? The management to my knowledge are never there these days and have seemed to have taken their eye off the ball.Today was the first nice biking day of the year, the bikers knew it, why didn't Loomies. Can't knock the staff, they were rushed off their feet and doing the best they could. On days like this, more staff should be working to cope with the large numbers.I ordered a bacon sandwich at 1.00pm and had a 25 minute wait. When it came it was just dry bread, no spread. This place is a greasy spoon so I don't expect butter, but dry bread is unacceptable for a £3 sandwich. The way to cope with the dinner time rush, is to prep food.Maybe put spread on some slices of bread in readiness, par cook chips, sausages and bacon. Black pudding, mushrooms and eggs obviously cooked to order. Then when the order comes in, just drop the sausage or chips into the hot fat for a minute and they're cooked. Bacon can be par cooked on the griddle so when ordered 30 seconds and it's ready to go.Come on guys, the customers have been loyal and supportive of you, it's time you gave us the service that we deserve. P.S. The Tannoy system isn't working.

Whilst the food is generally pretty good, the main reason to visit Loomies is for the biker's haunt atmosphere. There are always a range of interesting bikes parked outside (particularly at weekends), piles of bike magazines to read, memorabilia on the walls and even space for storing and cleaning your helmet as you walk in the door.Loomies won't claim to be haute cuisine, but that's not why people go there (but the food is still pretty good IMHO). Loomies is a very popular meeting point for bikers any day of the week, but mostly at weekends. The food is average biker fare. The bacon sarnies are good. The extra outdoor serving area is a bonus in summer when it is busy - waiting time for food is less than some other cafes we frequent and tea is served in mugs - not paper cups. Worth a visit as there are often some rare bikes in the car park out for a blast.

Visited as I read great things about the Guinness cake (which was VERY good and worth a revisit when passing).Had breakfast, this place is a greasy spoon and proud of it so expect greasy food served with loud rock music and the smell of oil, leather and rubber.Service was quick (5 mins from ordering to receiving) and the tea is served in a "proper" mug and was better for it!The patrons were all smiles and seem to be regulars (all hanging around the car park slurping hot brews) - bikers could be off putting for many but it's what makes this place unique.Good price and that Guinness cake, (well that and the breakfast) are instant hang over cures (and your days worth of calories in one sitting - these are big portions).Car park is very tight to get in and out of - so go slow!

I've lived a stones throw from this place for just over a year and never knew about it! I've only been on a Wednesday night, and it was everything I expected from a 'biker caf'. An eclectic mix from 2 strokes to Harleys and everything in between. I can't comment on the food other than it smelt good and looked delicious! The café was very reasonably priced at only a quid for a cuppa. The car park is not huge, and i think Wednesday is one of the busiest days (there was a massive que for food and drinks). My friend and I did get blocked in for about 45 mins. I would suggest that if you are in a rush, or can't stay long park near the entrance, or in the lay-by just across the road and slightly further up.

Don't normally do bad reviews but need to be honest about this place.I've been riding motorcycles on the A32 since the mid seventies and used to go here all the time when it was the Little thief stopped using it when it reopened as they why just awful. Only been once since relaunch and wasn't impressed then but decided to give it a go again today.I had a cheese burger and it was awful, plain bap,a griddled burger,a slice of processed cheese, nothing else. Help yourself to relishes from the dirty cacky bottles on the table by the door.Served by young lads who are pleasant enough but clearly not catering professionals and its expensive. If you're charging premium prices then serve premium product with great service. Don't think ill be going back in a hurry, this place appears to be living on a reputation it doesn't deserve

It's not just biker friendly it's biker focused from the ample parking to somewhere to leave your lid. Is cafe food only but very good cafe food, Chile and curry are good and burgers very good. Great place for all type of bikers to meet up and chat and brilliant Hampshire roads to get there.

I go here a lot with my friends on motorbikes and is a central location on some fab roads for a brew or breakfast. The food is definitely road side cafe quality but very edible and good portions. Worth a visit if your a biker of any calbire.

Been going here for a long time and always busy.Since I have asked for crispy bacon in my nap, it's much more enjoyable! Generally though, the food is cafe food if you see what I mean so don't expect anything outstanding. Once, my chilli had to go back as it was inedible but that is one occasion in many visits. The A32 / A272 crossroads wouldn't be quite the same without them.

Sunday afternoon bike ride, needed a aim so with our mate Russ we decided to take a trip out to loomies, the motorbike cafe. This was our first time here and not being local to the area had to do a few miles on the M27 till we took junction 10 onto country lanes. We found it easily enough. Arrived at lunch time, fairly busy. The menu was easy to read and was all bike related names and covered veggies as well. There was a specials board at the till so you might end up changing your mind when you get to the till! . Burgers Meat was locally sourced (so the menu said) and Russ and I chose the loomies burger with loomies fries, OH chose the chilli con carni as the jackets had sold out. Chilli could have been a little better so the oh said but Russ and I was surprised with a double burger with trimmings(thought it was only going to be one burger) and very tasty they were. The sweet potato fries mixed in with normal fries were very scrummy and a definite if we visit again.there was dessert available, lovely wedges of cake but we were to full to even consider it. Plates were cleared and washed down with filter coffee. Large choice of Hot and cold drinks were available and milk you put in yourself by the entrance on a shelf in milk dispenser. Prices I thought were slightly high for the food but when I saw the portions then it was worth it. All was cooked to order in a full view kitchen. The tables are cleared and wiped clean immediately, the toilets are lovely and clean but a lady who was queuing did say to me the second toilet had been out of action for a while! The staff are friendly and call your number (not very loudly) when your order is ready. There is a helmet storage area when you walk in and cloths and spray available to clean your visors (nice touch).there is a outdoor bar /serve area that is undercover and from what I here it's opened up in the summer for bbq. There is a sofa seating area at the back of the restaurant if you just want to chill and chat. Lots of outdoor seating and parking but obviously today the car park was full of bikes however 3 cars had sneaked in lol. Little touches outside like motorbike helmets hanging baskets and motorbike boots stuffed with plants, Jack Daniels bottles as lighting above the tables, and humorous motorbike related photos on the walls made it interesting. Overall the restaurant was very clean, very friendly, good menu, open to anyone even if you don't own a bike, efficient and not overcomplicated in the way they run. You can take your mugs of hot drinks outside whilst you walk around viewing the assortment of bikes but it's polite to return them to the counter when your done. Will visit again and definitely in the summer. But please get your second ladies loo fixed guys before the busy summer starts as that's the only negative.....

Great location and quite nice inside but it lacks something. I really do not get why the milk is where it is and you have to walk back through a queue of people to get to it. My food was so greasy and was being cooked by a miserable looking "kid", I put my bacon and sausage in some napkins and squeezed it to get the grease out but I just couldn't eat it. Just because I ride a motorbike does not mean I eat food like this, the price mechanism does not match the quality, i.e. high price for greasy spoon 1970's food offer and menu. Been here a few times but it never improves and really do not understand the other reviews for Loomies being so good. On biker forums the feedback is not so good. Also when you are not busy why not call the number of the order out and bring it to the table? Surely this is not a sustainable business relying on biker trade at weekend when the weather is nice, check out some other options to see what they do e.g.The Departure Lounge which is not far from you

Hearty and well prepared food. Clean facilities. This cafe is popular with bikers but it is conveniently located for passing traffic on the A32 between Fareham and Alton. Not suggested for a formal business meeting but very convenient for a catch upand a bacon butty or full breakfast.Decent roadside stops are few and far between these days.

Visit this cafe very regularly (more than once a month), as a meeting point for friends. Prefer to stop here rather than the chain pub located very close by. Biker cafe feel (weekends is very busy with bikes so I try go mid week so can park) and although I'm a car driver, still made to feel welcome. The standard full english breakfast (my regular order!) is quite expensive (£8.50) but is very tasty and definitely feel full afterwards. Staff are very friendly and cafe is clean & tidy. Lovely countryside drive to get to this cafe and a good location along the A32. Would recommend for a stop if travelling along the A32 or a central meeting point in Hampshire for a drink or food with friends.

My partner and I rode up on our bikes on 24th Oct as I was booked in to get the ACF50 treatment (They clean and prep your bike for winter) that is held there every month. They aren't actually anything to do with the café, but they use their car park, which in turns obviously helps the cafe's business. Anyway, we turned up there was probably about 20 bikers there. Everyone was friendly and its easy to mingle and chat to people you've never met before. The atmosphere was that of a proper biker café, very basic, bike art all over the walls and a storage unit to put helmets in as soon as you walk in the door. We both had lunch. I had a triple burger (yeah, I know) and the missis has a small fry up. The food wasn't terrible, but wasn't great. Basically burger van food, and very overpriced. £5 to £11 for a fry up, my burger was £7. I'm not going to lie though, I did enjoy my greasy burger! We will return.

Great place to stop by for a coffee and meet up with friendly bikers. However it cost £6.80 for a double cheese burger and coffee. I don't mind paying extra for quality. But the burger was very greasy and overpriced. Haven't tried the breakfasts. Staff are really friendly and Loomies is in a great location with fantastic roads. Makes a pleasant ride out, unlike riding to the Ace cafe.

Have been to Loomies a few times over the last couple of years and today was the first time I actually got as far as having anything to eat. !! The reason for that is that it is and always has been rammed with bikers. Its location is perfect for some great riding roads. It is sometimes a victim of its own success in that it is so busy that you can hardly get in the car park and then you will have a fair wait for a brekkie. However the quality of the food is good and the staff are all very friendly. Prices are what you would expect to pay an excellent brekkie for between £6-£8 depending on whether you order by the size of your eyes or your belly.Make sure you have a look at the bit of artwork on the wall, which I think has been done by the owner/manager, Rachel ? either way it is an excellent bit of motorcycle art.Whenever I have been the customers are good mix, both in age and bike style. The staff and customers all seem very welcoming and its the sort of place I would happily just pop into on my own for a cup of tea and a walk round the car park. Overall a well placed and friendly bikers cafe.... Great Place.

Have been wanting to visit for a while since the new owners took over after many recommendations from friends. Finally got to visit and was not disappointed. Took my parents for lunch. The food was amazing, service impeccable and the renovations of the building are fantastic. Looking forward to revisiting soon.

I just can’t see how their prices are sustainable. Charging over £4 for a flat white with oat milk is outrageous, so I won’t be returning.
