A bit of street noise but wonderful staff made up for it. Great breckfast

An average room in an average looking pub with a slightly shady enterance to the rooms. Breakfast was very basic. But, couldnt ask for better in this price considering it was kinda summery May.

Booked 2 rooms for overnight stay mid long drive down South, great location just outside Cheltenham. Rooms were clean and ample size. Had evening meal there, good menu and food. Breakfast was superb, choice of cereals, juice, tea and coffee followed by full plate service. Easy check in, staff were friendly and helpful.

A very comfortable clean bed,excellent location and a fantastic cooked breakfast.

Cannot recommend. Bedroom and passageways had unpleasant smell. Despite staff assurances, there is no available parking in the vicinity - narrow streets surrounding premises were all full so we parked away from area and used uber. Breakfast was ok - bacon and sausage had been deep-fried. No choice offered. Side entrance had open drop into cellar - unsafe.

Nice traditional pub with good beer choices. We didn't eat there but the food looked great and plentiful as it was delivered. The pub is never busy and the clientele are mainly workers on the way home. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Must go back to try the food.

Very welcoming staff. Room very clean. Breakfast for two meat eaters and three vegetarians very good with endless tea and toast and a friendly smile.

Stop for the night as working at St Mary's church 3 minutes away. Room clean n tidy, staff were very good and made you feel welcome. Would stop again here. Food good and a good breakfast in the morning. Ken🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Great Sunday lunch - super home style cooking.

We stayed here a couple of years ago and it was lovely and friendly. We came back this Sunday 17th December and was very disappointed with it. Tge room was not the best. There was no normal tea and coffee in the room, and no heating working in our room, it was freezing, you had to get in the bed in the afternoon to keep warm. We mentioned it to the lady working on the bar and she said she would have to look at the app. We left it with her but obviously she didn't get it to work because it was freezing all night. I had a hot water bottle with me and had to refill in the night for more warmth, and put a jumper on I was that cold. As for the bathroom it was great to see a shower but we couldn't use it as the mould in the cubiclewas not nice and the shower head was black. We mentioned this as breakfast the next day and the lady said she would clean it. She did as you could smell the bleach, but there was no way she was going to get tge black out. Breakfast was another issue we were asked what time we wanted breakfast, we said 8amwhen we went down we could not get into the bar as no one had turned up. When he did turn up he just made a joke of being late. Breakfast was a bad show hardly any choice. The other issue which they need to address is, there is no contact details for you to ring in an emergency. We won't be staying here again.

We headed here for the Wednesday night curry offer ( curry and pint for £10) and it was brilliant. Excellent food, service and value! Great local pub!

We had a party for approximately 90 people here, food excellent, just what we wanted, and with a dedicated bar. Cannot fault the organisation or quality of the hot food for that number, including vegetarians. Ben and his team pulled all the stops out.

Stayed here through work. No complaints about the pub, food was lovely and fresh, very reasonably priced. Drinks were also very reasonably priced. Room was perfectly clean, radiator was really easy to turn on and off and set the temperature. Shower was great really powerful and good temperature. Would stay here again

Great location for an overnight stay for a day at the races. Room was very clean & tidy, plenty of towels & toiletries. Had an evening meal & breakfast - both were very nice. Huge selection at breakfast, cereals, juices, preserves, etc. The English breakfast was freshly cooked & was very nice. The owner was a friendly chap , I would stay again when going to the races

It's a great place to stay, where co-workers look like family and are friendly to guests and patrones of the bar! The staff is all very helpful and polite.

Extremely disappointing experience. Arrived. Wasn't shown to the table we had booked. We were then not given any menus or offered drinks or anything which we then had to ask for from the bar where we were eventually told that there was no table service and we had to order from the bar. This would would have been perfectly acceptable but none of this had been communicated to us before this, meaning we had been sat waiting, clueless for around 15 minutes. After we did order around 45 minutes passed before one of the front of house staff who was evidently doing their best although lacking the proper training told us that they were hosting a party and that this was why we had not received our food and that there would be an even longer wait. This was absolutely appalling as there was no communication prior to this, with no apology either. When our food did eventually arrive 1 HOUR or more after our order, some of it seemed slightly burned and we were not offered condiments of any kind which we then had to ask for. We were then given several pots containing around a teaspoon of sauces each. When it came to paying, we were not given a bill listing what we had paid for just told the total. This was followed by none of the staff knowing how to split the bill which took a longer amount of time. Overall this was a terrible experience with seemingly no senior staff around and a complete lack of service. I would not recommend unless some serious changes are made.

Friendly, helpful. We had a nice dinner here as well as the breakfast. The tomato was lovely and sweet and the mushrooms very tasty. I liked it all. There are creals and toast too.

Good location for our trip to evening wedding reception. Friendly and helpful staff on arrival, and morning of departure. Enjoyed food and drinks before heading off to wedding, and very satisfactory breakfast before leaving. Would visit again!

I had a great stay at London Inn. The place was very clean, the staff were great and so was the food and drink, which was reasonably priced. I had the linguine in the evening. The rooms are of a good size and very clean with a good shower. I definitely recommend it to anyone staying in the area and looking for accommodation.

It’s ok. Nice pub inside. Dart board. Music box. Crisps are those posh weird ones like sausage and leek flavour etc.

We were greeted immediately when we arrived and shown to our lovely room! After we unpacked we headed down to the restaurant for dinner and drinks. Espresso martinis were on tap (and on special), and they did not disappoint. They tasted great, as did the food, which came in very generous portions. My wife had the rogan josh curry special, which tasted fantastic, and i had wings and nachos which also hit the spot. Her portion was so generous that she needed help finishing it :D! Win win. Service was wonderful, and the waitress gave us some solid trips for travelling around the Cotswolds, given our limited time frame for sightseeing. Definitely recommend and will definitely eat another meal here, and have some more drinks, while we stay here! Only (very very minor) issue is that the sink in the bathroom drains slowly. Otherwise everything is great!

Excellent Sunday lunch with choice of 4 meats and you can have a mixture which is great. and great value. The beef was so tender too! Very reasonable priced too!

We spent three nights at The London Inn. The room and facilities were clean and comfortable and the breakfasts and evening meal were fine. It was good to see the owner very much involved in the pub doing bar, restaurant and kitchen duties. The staff, including the owner, were very pleasant and obliging. Would go back!

Great pub hotel stayed there for 2 nights staff we're great so we're the breakfast had a meal in the evening that was great to little bit of a walk into town but could not fault the place

The pub is very cosy, the food and drinks very good, the owner and staff warm and helpful. Our room was big enough, clean and the beds comfortable. My Vizsla Girl also liked it very much. She was spoiled with dog ice cream and gravy bones. We will definitely be back.

I liked it..room was nice,clean and quiet,but wasn't fun of the outside bathroom! The bed very comfortable and the breakfast was ok. Parking was easy and free on street. No complaints from me

They have made a great job of the refurbishment resulting in a great atmosphere. The food was really good when we were eventually served. I would have given a five rating but it took a long time to receive our order.

Wonderful one night stop off while exploring the Cotswolds. We had dinner and breakfast and both were delicious. Our room was clean, game was on downstairs and drinks were cold.

Fundamentally the stay was fine. The room (6) was comfortable but at the front of the building which is on a main road. Unfortunately the window blind was not fixed so when used it fell down. That this was evidently an ongoing problem became apparent when I told a member of staff next morning following, an excellent, breakfast. The pub does very good food and has a wide choice of beer too.

Much better than some reviews I'd read. Friendly staff, clean rooms, comfy beds, tea trays and toiletries. Good breakfast, freshly cooked and our bar meal the night before was tasty. Best salt and pepper squid ever! If we are back in the area, wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

My friend and I decided to go for a drink on Friday at 6.30pm thinking trying somewhere new would be a good idea. We felt like we had walked into a film set - maybe Wrong Turn. The locals were pretty special. We are no prudes and swearing is not normally something we would pick up on but the constant use of the c word from the 3 completely wasted 'gentlemen' at the bar, and the same from the 2 'gentleman' and 'lady' on the table next to us was a big shock. They were all shouting, not talking. The poor bar man told them to stop at one point but it was no use, so he resorted to whacking up the volume of the music. Still fs and cs were pretty much every other word so we drank up and left. Shame as the pub was nice inside - oh except for the huge dog that stank! :)

Where do I start. All the atmosphere of a morgue . We had the misfortune to venture in when they had a private party. Sign outside said live music. Band were actually not bad. Unfortunately the place seemed full of some of the ugliest mingers in Cheltenham.

I had a nice stay at this cozy site, Bar & Food is just wonderful! Breakfast was perfect! Staff and people were much helpful!

We booked 2 bedrooms for a 1 night stay and it was the best night's rest of the trip. The beds are very comfortable and are towards the rear of the hotel and overlooking a quiet lane. We also dined here at night. I selected the "Hara Bhara" medium chicken curry with rice and a tiny naan bread. The curry has a tomato base so is not authentic but adapted for the European palate. It was O.K. but by no means a knock out but for £10.45 it was most pleasant and as I had never tried this before, I was tempted to try. I was pleased with the "Tribute" ale at 4.2% volume. Dessert were profiteroles which must have been bought in. Nothing pretentious but standard fayre. Service was slow but the furthest we were going was upstairs.

Amazing little pub very warm and welcoming people, we travelled up from wales to visit family. We arrived Friday and sadly leaving today. We’ve been in every day🤣 we first met Andrew and the landlady and a few regulars. All staff are just as lovely, We had Sunday dinner today and WOW JUST WOW I have no words it is phenomenal❤️.. The pub dog is the most fun loving cuddly dog we’ve come across. Can’t wait to come back ❤️

The outside looks better than inside but our stay was good, rooms were very small but clean and reasonably appointed. Staff were very friendly and the full breakfast was very good.

Not a bad pub for a drink but not a place to eat. I have been there for dinner and lunch recently with groups of 4/5 people. On both occasions I reserved tables in person but was not told that the majority of the items on the menu (which apparently is quite extensive) we’re actually not available!!

I did not like the attitude of the male behind the bar. I bought a large white wine for my wife and a pint of course for myself. My wife complained that her wine tasted off and was too warm. A friend also tasted and agreed it was " not right". I returned with the wine and eventually spoke to the barman who dissagreed and said he couldn't help with someone's taste preferences. I insisted he replace the wine but he said no way. I told him to keep the wine and told him there was no way I would visit his establishment ever again. Ps a pint and a wine cost almost £10.

Had a lovely stay at the London Inn - Karen and her team could not have been more helpful and welcoming. Room was very clean and comfortable and breakfast was freshly cooked to order. Staying for a wedding at Double Tree at Hilton - perfect location. Would definitely return.

Visited recently for an Abba tribute band. There seems to be music on most Saturday's in the summer. Friendly atmosphere and staff with all of the drinks you would expect. Bowling alley and pool table at the back.

My sister stayed here, they made her pay before she was shown to her room. When they were shown up the room wasn't ready. So the manager panicked. Told them to leave their stuff in the hallway whilst she sorted the room. Some of their things are very expensive, so they were reluctant to do so. So my sister asked if they could leave their stuff in the room. This was okay. But they weren't offered any sort of gratuity asl a form of recompense. Most places would offer you a drink just to apologize. But nothing was forthcoming. The food was good. The mash was obviously frozen before being served. But on the whole everything was of an acceptable standard. Typical pub grub. nothing to be really impressed with.

Great food, great atmosphere. We love to pop in here for a pint from time to time. Kids love to play in the garden.

Lovely stay but it can get a bit loud downstairs, until late (00.00 school night) which is what happens in normal pubs anyway I suppose... So ...ear plugs can help.

Had a very comfortable 2 night stay whilst attending a Wedding near by. There was scaffolding on the outside so we weren't so sure at first sight. But the room and hospitality was very welcoming. And a nice proper English Breakfast each morning. Being a greedy guts, maybe a bit of local Black pudding and fried bread as charged add-ons? But everyone enjoyed what they had. With a decent coffee too. The bedroom and bathroom whilst not the biggest of rooms. Were nice comfy and clean. no biscuits in the in-room refreshments though to go with the tea. But that's just being picky would gladly stay again. If using as a stop off to attend a wedding. This place is perfect. On the same street there's a Co-op and Chemist. A couple of Handy charity shops if you need a list minute Tie or handkerchiefs. And a few pubs further on. Seemed a lovely area hopefully we'll return to explore a bit more next time.

This is a small pub in Cheltenham. Firstly the good things. Sunday lunch here is amazing, with some lovely people and the best meats in the area. Well worth it. Weekday meals don't match up to the weekend ones though. Decent puddings. Worth a look if you're in the area.

Very pleasant stay with nice cooked breakfast

I'd previously checked menus from various pubs in and around Charlton Kings and found the London Inn to suit our requirements, with a very good selection of dishes at reasonable prices. We were not disappointed. The meals we had were excellent, with good sized portions (in fact too much for me but my partner managed to finish his). I had one of the curries, which was really tasty and with lots of chicken, and my partner had one of the pies which he said was delicious and full of meat. We also sampled the guest real ale (Proper Job) which was really good and well kept. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and if we are ever in the area again we wouldn't hesitate to eat here again.

Clean and quiet. It doesn't have a great wine selection, but Star on tap is good.

Nice pub marred by out of control dog. The pub dog is allowed free reign to bark very loudly and constantly. When food comes out the dog has to be constantly watched.

Have booked up the London Inn for a family get together in March. Very impressed with the all staff when dealing with our enqueries, nothing was too much trouble for them. The function room is large and well laid out with a skittle alley too. The place is very clean and comfortable, and well decorated. They also have a few letting bedrooms available as well.

Lovely owners, they have rooms available and a huge games room with skittles and pool etc. Will definitely go back!

Sunday carvery excellent . Only reservation l have they hide the roast potatoes so you can't help yourself . I would recommend just have the regular option the large option not much different
