Lloyds No1 Bar in Nottingham

I came to Lloyds for a few drinks and food if your well aware the Wetherspoon's food isn't that good and I thought that the curry would be a safe option. But sadly it wasn't The curry did come with samosas naan bread which was ok but the curry wasn't The curry you can tell it Patak's curry from a jar and there wasn't enough rice on the plate To be honest I can make better curries than the crap you get from wethersponns

Billy was the absolute best bartender I have ever met, not only did he go above and beyond for me and my friend, he did it all with a massive smile on his face and jokes for all. Best drink out I've had in a while. This man needs a raise or a promotion immediately. A real credit to the brand.

Didnt let our friend in even though she had the same amount as drinks as us and was not inebriated. Its ridiculous bouncers were so set in stone even though she didn't do anything wrong.

At 22.15 on the 02/04/24, My sister, Nephew and I were planning on calling into this pub, however, upon arrival, there was a very young man laying outside in his own vomit and his friend was trying to talk to him. I went over and could see that he was shaking and was still trying to be sick, so between us we got him on his side. The whole time there were 4 bouncers outside doing nothing to help. I asked if we could have a blanket or something, i was ignored, i asked again and then got told to go away. I explained that i have a son that age and was concerned for the lad, i had been told by his friend that he had help coming but he was shaking uncontrollably by this point. I asked the bouncers if they could get some water, by which point a female bouncer came over right in my face and told me to mind my own business and to go away. I was shaken by this and i asked her name, she told me to leave and when i told her i was staying until the lad had been picked up, another bouncer came over and shouted in a threating tone telling me to leave so i got my phone and went to take his photo, the lady grabbed my arm and tried to get my phone, she was then told to back off by another member of staff. I have a clear picture of the bouncer that threatened me. Lloyds Weatherspoons you should be ashamed of hiring door staff that are not willing to help with basic first aid, but worse than that, your staff are rude and threatening to innocent people like myself who are willing to help. People should be aware its not the first time your door staff have acted out of line please make it the last time.

Absolutely shocking! Asked 3 times for the table to be cleaned ready for when the food came. Staff looked miserable like they didn't want to be there. When the food came it only had 8 chicken bites in the basket in 2 of the meals even though the menu said 10, plus the food wasnt very hot. Went to tell the staff to which it took a while to only receive 2 more pieces of chicken when it should of been 4 to which the food was cold by then. Yes they took it back and brought out another hot meal but we had finished our meals when we should of been eating together! Very very poor service and no quality in the food!! I would not recommend this pub at all.

I was out for a works christmas night out and ordered drinks at the bar (Wasn’t even drunk) and me and my colleague got called a dog by one of the male bar staff. Was my first and last time visiting there. Absolutely disgusting behaviour and he should definitely not be in a job where it revolves around customer service.

After one glass of wine I tried to enter this bar to meet friends and I was stopped from doing so, and when I enquired as to why, no reason was given. It was incredibly upsetting as an individual young woman to be left to rely on my friends to come out to me, from the venue, and vacate to somewhere else. The security guards were incredibly rude and dismissive, I would hope that any other young woman wouldn’t be treated in such a dismissive and inhumane manner.

Went after a busted concert & after leaving O’Neill’s Had some cocktails & margaritas the margaritas was the best it was student month so was good value at the time and was open late

This is an excellent pub for surroundings a former bank and encompassing what a appears to be an early Georgian house.The Georgian room at the top lookalike it dates from the late 1600s going by the sealed off doors.On my visit the real ale I had was in excellent condition.

Where can a couple get two breakfast muffins and drinks with free top ups in Nottingham city centre.Loyds Bar is open bright and early ready to dispense such meals as stated for less than a tenner for two.With friendly staff and super premises who could ask for more.The rain was tanking down whilst we breakfasted in peace.Another wetherspoons special.

so last night I went to Lloyds no1 for a quick bite to eat and I ordered the Empire state burger sadly to say the burger really didn't keep up with the name in fact it fell apart and one of the burger patties fell out. but not only that the burger was bland dry and had no taste to it seriously. I won't be eating at any Weatherspoon ever again the food is crap i wouldn't even give it to a dog cause If I did I would get sent to court for animal cruelty. If you eat there you were warned

Came in with friends for drinks enjoying the bank holiday and finally the sun being out haha. Atmosphere was great wasn't to busy. Didn't get the servers name but she was polite and smily, could also see the other staff having a good time and serving. Working in hospitality it's always good to see the staff enjoying themselves while working a bank holiday. I seen a few bad reviews for this spoons but I can say it's the best one in the city centre, it may be a spoons but at least there was a smile and chat that's the difference from the others. Will recommend this bar when I have customers asking where is good to go in town 🙂

Been in Lloyd's no1 in Nottingham and staff's absolutely disgusting, don't know what they're serving, telling customer to sort it themselves. I'm was barman for 25yrs got my licence no what to do or how to be polite. I'm totally disgusted at moment and even mum walked out

Just what you would expect from a Wetherspoons. Very busy. Very noisy. Cheap beer and food. Food quality could be better. Service is fast.

Indoor customers need just as much supervision as those waiting to be admitted on a Saturday night. 2 incidents were observed on 02.10.22 which were both avoidable if management exercised better guidance to bar associates NOT to serve people who are clearly being drunk. One eventually was ejected, after annoying drinkers for more than a quarter of an hour, despite having been reported to staff members. The other was a young man was staggering and being sick on people before he made it to the downstairs toilets. This behavior supports the thought that money in the till is the main reason staff don't want to get involved.

Today had southern fried chicken wrap was abismal..hardly any chicken and very very poor Been before several times never never this terrible

The drinks and food at Lloyd’s were great - really good spoons. Atmosphere was fab and speedy and attentive service.

We went here for a meal yesterday afternoon.. I was less than impressed .I had the herb chicken with coleslaw & chips. The chicken was just a rack of bones, the coleslaw was more a pot of mayonnaise with a teaspoon of sliced onion & carrot in it. Chips were oven chios as every chip nowadays is. Never will I do a Wetherspoons meal again.

Went here in the afternoon after the cinema as we were both hungry and didn’t feel like cooking when we went to our respective homes I ordered the mixed grill and my girlfriend had a chicken dish - both washed down with a glass of wine Both meals arrived relatively quickly and were both ok but the chips could have been hotter and crisper - we could have sent them back but we wouldn’t enjoy just a dish of meat while waiting It was , in the scheme of things, reasonable value and saved us having to cook later but we will not be rushing back for more

I used to not mind this place for a couple of swift drinks, but on my last visit it was at an all time low. Tables left unclean and uncleared, drunken louts swearing, shouting and generally being intimidating (begs the question why the staff continue to serve them) and generally just an unpleasant atmosphere. Fellow Wetherspoons pub, Trent Bridge Inn, a couple of miles away in West Bridgford is so far superior to this place, you wouldn't know that it's part of the same chain. Won't be returning for a long time.
