This is one of my favourite spots. I visit often as I live nearby. Beautiful view of the sea, lovely atmosphere, friendly service. Sit I Side or out. People go on holiday for this and I live here. I feel so blessed. Well worth a visit. Love little places like this

It was lunch time, we were peckish and there was a free table, perfect! We found this gem of a cafe while out for a stroll. Inside and outside seating, friendly approachable staff with a smile, good wholesome food and a beautiful view out to sea. Well worth a visit.

This is a typical seaside cafe. Unpretentious serving nice freshly made sandwiches and a choice of fried food It is in an excellent position on the seafront with public car parking at the side. You can take a walk along the seafront and watch the boats arriving and departing from Sheerness harbour. The cafe is used by people of all ages, from young families to people of a more mature age. A lot of people from surrounding towns visit regularly. The beach is very clean and swimming possible at high tide

We visited the Little Oyster Café in Minster during a walk along the promenade and specifically the East end. We were passing and dropped in for a cup of tea following a recommendation from some other walkers that we passed on the way. The café is located a little inland of the Minster beach huts and reached via an inclined ramp, there is a car park close by which appeared to be free to use (we had parked on ’The Lees’).The café has inside and outside seating area and we ordered a Tea and a Coffee and sat outside in the late afternoon sunshine and admired the elevated views over the Thames estuary. Our drinks were delivered to our table and we found the two members of staff to be friendly and helpful. We arrived at the café around 4PM and the staff were beginning to clean up for the day before closing at 5. The café appeared to have a good range of snacks and other drinks available including and ice cream machine. There is a toilet facility for patrons though we did not need to use this. The café seemed to be well patronised with most of the tables occupied by groups of people enjoying the sunny weather along the front. All in all a nice place to stop and enjoy a cup of tea on the Minster sea front.

This is a clean friendly tea room serving cooked food as well as afternoon tea. The hot food is cooked to order without waiting too long. We had jacket potato with prawns which was the best I've tasted. Also had ham, egg and chips - no grease and very tasty with mugs of tea to finish off. There is outside seating as well as inside with a toilet for patrons only, again very clean. We often gave lunch after parking the car and walking along the cliffs, down to the beach walk and back.

This always looks busy, but I think it's more because there is no competition and it's not a tea room! This is a cafe serving fried food and sandwiches, ice creams and hot and cold drinks. It's cramped and the service is slow and poor, and not particularly clean. On our visit we were served by a lack lustre teenager with no customer service skills, who took ages to produce a tea and a coffee to take away, both of which were undrinkable. Food hygiene is poor, no aprons, long hair flowing, small food preparation area and no food covered or gloves used when preparing food.....truly disappointing, how on earth did it get its food rating? This space deserves China cups and saucers and a bit of homemade cake served by competent people who value their customers, not teenagers who have no idea......sorry! Next time we ll take a flask!

Had my daughter's baby shower here yesterday. Gemma and the team went to such efforts to make our time here so special. The decorations looked great and the food was amazing! Everyone had a wonderful time. 100% recommend Rumour as a venue or just to pop in for tea and cake. Can't thank the team enough!
