First time ordering a delivery and they messed up the order forgetting to deliver three items. Very unimpressed. Food was tasty but it kinda misses the point as our family couldn't eat together.

I come to Lingfield once or twice a year. I love coming here because it is such a quiet, quintessential English village. I always top it off by a visit to Tarana , which offers both Indian and Thai cuisine. Always a very pleasant experience.

Went here as it was my sons birthday and he was visiting from exmouth. Been here before and will visit again. Absolutely brilliant staff , service and food . Well done everyone

Our favourite place to be!!!! We cannot fault this place at all. Jahan and all of his staff are simply the best & cannot do enough for you. Both the Thai & Tarana dishes are all so tasty and our meals are always enjoyable! It's an amazing touch that if you aren't sure what you fancy...you can order from both! The brilliant cocktail menu is so great too 🍹🍸 Thank you for always being so welcome and a regular friendly place for us to be!

Ordered for collection at 1816 and emailed to say it would be ready 1846. We eventually walked out at 1930, at no point in the 40 minutes we sat there did anyone say anything to us, I had to go up and ask, the guy disappeared and eventually 10minutes later did come out of the kitchen with our food. Yes it was a Saturday and yes it was busy (by the time we left!) but I’m sure they don’t want us sitting there for that long any more than we wanted to be. When we eventually got home we had the wrong naan bread and the tarka dall was like a very thin soup with hardly any lentils. On the whole the food was nice but a very below par experience.

One of the best of many curries I've eaten up and down the country. The dishes were all distinctly flavoursome, the portions generous and the prices most reasonable. Highly recommend the Village Chicken, the speciality lamb curry, and the vegetable bhaji side dish (not to be confused with onion bhaji).

The performance was electrifying, and the atmosphere was buzzing with excitement. But the highlight was undoubtedly the food – absolutely mind-blowing. Every dish was exquisite, bursting with flavour and beautifully presented. It's clear that Tarana takes great pride in its culinary offerings. Thank you for a wonderful evening. We walked in for a takeaway and was amazed: Restaurant staff are friendly; we were welcomed the second we walked in. Staff couldn't do enough to assist; pleasant.attutude, and all were well dressed. Our food was presented hot and separately packed. We will be returning to dine at this restaurant. Atmosphere and design is outstanding.

I love this place. I visit this restaurant often and really enjoy everything about it! The ambience is great and the food is lovely! You can choose Thai or Indian food and they are both so great its difficult to choose what to eat! The staff are lovely and the manager Jahan is super. Will keep coming back, thank you!

Fabulous last minute option to eat out here. Staff were friendly, food was delicious (samosas were super super spicy be warned 🫢) and the restaurant is lovely.

this place is amazing i will never use another curry place we travel all over 20 miles to visit this place and we will only come here!! we have previously tried other restaurants and have wasted money so will not waste our money anymore and use the best of the best!! if you have never had taranas trust me from the bottom of my heart i can promise you that you will never find anywhere better lovely food (infact amazing food!!) lovely guys and lovely tribute bands this place will blow your mind!! thank you for always providing me with my favourite food!!

My Indian friend brought me here and I have been again and will go again and again! I recommend the prawn crackers for starters and then eat all the curries your money can buy! They’re all delicious 🤤 🥰

Having recently moved to the area we tried Tarana last night for a take out. The service from taking our order, delivery and food was exceptional. Thoroughly enjoyed, King Prawns were so so tasty. We will be a regular customer!

Absolutely disgusting service and lack of customer care from the owner 4 people waited over a hour for there food while we were there to collect ours which we had to wait 57mins after are time we were told to collect. One guy got sent away with the wrong order after waiting 45mins for his order and had to come back with it to swap Food then was cold! Owner said it was fine and it's on demand and that it's about earning the money to pay the bills and didnt care if customers were not happy after paying. Offered be a cheap beer as a sorry I'm not able to drink lager he said that's all I can offer u and basically didn't care it was a hour late and the other 4 people he didn't care there's was over a hour late

Currys are very nice! Thursday nights when they have tribute acts on are brilliant nights. Jahan runs a lovely establishment. Very highly recommended.

Just had a delicious new year's day takeaway. Our usual restaurant was closed so chose Tarana as they deliver, very glad we did! Took a while to be delivered but understandable due to increased demand. Food was all amazing, will be ordering from here again, thank you!

Ordered from here for the first time tonight for delivery, Birthday. The food was OK, tasted OK, edible, but didnt look like authentic Biryani or Korma (the biryani was flavoured rice and the sauce was not hot and full of vegetables, more like the curry gloop you get at the chip shop). The onion bhaji were horrible, very heavy pates of flour with little onion and super greasy and the garlic naan was RAW and doughy and not even cooked. I have eaten some good Indian food in my time, this wasnt one of them. It wasnt cheap either for the relatively low quality of food. I would not recommend.

This is by far the best Indian restaurant i have ever been to. The food is out of this world! High quality ingredients bring delicious flavour to the dishes, of which I have had all over the years now! The service is spot on and the drinks (cocktails) are good too. Managed well and friendly, just keeps me coming back for more. Thank you Jahan and the team, see you again soon!

Attended a St. Piers charity evening at Taranas .Staff brilliant atmosphere brilliant food to die for .yum yum.

If you're thinking of going to Tarana, I would highly recommend the Turner's Hill restaurant over this one. Whilst the quality of food was much the same, the site itself does not have parking and is set on a busy road. The staff seem to stare at you and hover around your table - especially when it's quiet. Their attentiveness with drink refills is without second, but it does make conversations feel very awkward. I love Tarana, but definitely wouldn't go to this one again!

The food has gone down hill and I won't be returning. The lamb tikka tasted like beef, although I was convinced it wasn't by my waiter. The prawn puree wasn't cooked and needed to be sent back, this is my second bad experience now. It was once my favourite local Indian restaurant.

We went for a Monday night Birthday meal and was blown away by the atmosphere and service. Food was off the scale good and services top class. It was my friend’s birthday and they made her feel very special with a cake and cocktail. Highly recommend, great food and lovely team. Thank you 🙌🏻
