Beautiful food. Definitely recommend.

One of the best of many curries I've eaten up and down the country. The dishes were all distinctly flavoursome, the portions generous and the prices most reasonable. Highly recommend the Village Chicken, the speciality lamb curry, and the vegetable bhaji side dish (not to be confused with onion bhaji).

At Tarana Lingfield was simply spectacular! The Michael Jackson tribute, accompanied by incredible dancers and a stunning showgirl, made for an unforgettable evening. The performance was electrifying, and the atmosphere was buzzing with excitement. But the highlight was undoubtedly the food – absolutely mind-blowing. Every dish was exquisite, bursting with flavour and beautifully presented. It's clear that Tarana takes great pride in its culinary offerings. Thank you for a wonderful evening. We walked in for a takeaway and was amazed: Restaurant staff are friendly; we were welcomed the second we walked in. Staff couldn't do enough to assist; pleasant.attutude, and all were well dressed. Our food was presented hot and separately packed. We will be returning to dine at this restaurant. Atmosphere and design is outstanding.

I love this place. I visit this restaurant often and really enjoy everything about it! The ambience is great and the food is lovely! You can choose Thai or Indian food and they are both so great its difficult to choose what to eat! The staff are lovely and the manager Jahan is super. Will keep coming back, thank you!

Fabulous last minute option to eat out here. Staff were friendly, food was delicious (samosas were super super spicy be warned 🫢) and the restaurant is lovely.

Came here for my birthday was amazing

this place is amazing i will never use another curry place we travel all over 20 miles to visit this place and we will only come here!! we have previously tried other restaurants and have wasted money so will not waste our money anymore and use the best of the best!! if you have never had taranas trust me from the bottom of my heart i can promise you that you will never find anywhere better lovely food (infact amazing food!!) lovely guys and lovely tribute bands this place will blow your mind!! thank you for always providing me with my favourite food!!

Having recently moved to the area we tried Tarana last night for a take out. The service from taking our order, delivery and food was exceptional. Thoroughly enjoyed, King Prawns were so so tasty. We will be a regular customer!

My Indian friend brought me here and I have been again and will go again and again! I recommend the prawn crackers for starters and then eat all the curries your money can buy! They’re all delicious 🤤 🥰

Absolutely disgusting service and lack of customer care from the owner 4 people waited over a hour for there food while we were there to collect ours which we had to wait 57mins after are time we were told to collect. One guy got sent away with the wrong order after waiting 45mins for his order and had to come back with it to swap Food then was cold! Owner said it was fine and it's on demand and that it's about earning the money to pay the bills and didnt care if customers were not happy after paying. Offered be a cheap beer as a sorry I'm not able to drink lager he said that's all I can offer u and basically didn't care it was a hour late and the other 4 people he didn't care there's was over a hour late

Currys are very nice! Thursday nights when they have tribute acts on are brilliant nights. Jahan runs a lovely establishment. Very highly recommended.

Just had a delicious new year's day takeaway. Our usual restaurant was closed so chose Tarana as they deliver, very glad we did! Took a while to be delivered but understandable due to increased demand. Food was all amazing, will be ordering from here again, thank you!

Ordered from here for the first time tonight for delivery, Birthday. The food was OK, tasted OK, edible, but didnt look like authentic Biryani or Korma (the biryani was flavoured rice and the sauce was not hot and full of vegetables, more like the curry gloop you get at the chip shop). The onion bhaji were horrible, very heavy pates of flour with little onion and super greasy and the garlic naan was RAW and doughy and not even cooked. I have eaten some good Indian food in my time, this wasnt one of them. It wasnt cheap either for the relatively low quality of food. I would not recommend.

This is by far the best Indian restaurant i have ever been to. The food is out of this world! High quality ingredients bring delicious flavour to the dishes, of which I have had all over the years now! The service is spot on and the drinks (cocktails) are good too. Managed well and friendly, just keeps me coming back for more. Thank you Jahan and the team, see you again soon!

If you're thinking of going to Tarana, I would highly recommend the Turner's Hill restaurant over this one. Whilst the quality of food was much the same, the site itself does not have parking and is set on a busy road. The staff seem to stare at you and hover around your table - especially when it's quiet. Their attentiveness with drink refills is without second, but it does make conversations feel very awkward. I love Tarana, but definitely wouldn't go to this one again!

The food has gone down hill and I won't be returning. The lamb tikka tasted like beef, although I was convinced it wasn't by my waiter. The prawn puree wasn't cooked and needed to be sent back, this is my second bad experience now. It was once my favourite local Indian restaurant.

We went for a Monday night Birthday meal and was blown away by the atmosphere and service. Food was off the scale good and services top class. It was my friend’s birthday and they made her feel very special with a cake and cocktail. Highly recommend, great food and lovely team. Thank you 🙌🏻

Thank you so much to all the staff at Tarana Lingfield for hosting our charity curry night fundraiser to raise money for our school's project with Champion Chanzige on the 13th June. The money raised is helping to refurbish 3 classrooms in primary schools in Tanzania which our students will visit in October. The team at Tarana were so supportive of what we were trying to achieve. The food was absolutely amazing, the staff were so friendly and were incredibly helpful and ensured the evening ran like clockwork - they could not have been more helpful. Whilst the food at Tarana is great, I have now been let down several times when ordering via Uber. Dont order this way, today a 3 hour wait for food and when I called was told it was already on its way. Still waiting. Previous time was 2 hours. When I called again told will try to get to the bottom of it. Past wanting food now.

Terrific food. Went mild and had a shashlik - absolutely wonderful. Only had half and asked for the rest to go (the usual poppadoms, chutneys and bhajis had done their job). They boxed it up and gave me a small fresh salad to go with it as well. Will definitely go back.

Review of Tarana restaurant Lingfield , location is very prominent , on the main High Street. The restaurant can be easily be seen on the high street after passing the roundabout as you enter the high street . As you enter the front door , you quickly realise it’s so large in size and very spacious with colourful lighting. The restaurant is very tastefully decorated with a wow factor , great ambiance . As you walk through there is lounge bar area on the left to enjoy a drink before you are seated to your table. Tonight we are here to dine and enjoy the Dua Lipa live tribute- singing and dancing so great atmosphere here tonight ! They have a wonderful range of cocktails ( non alcoholic and alcoholic ) with exciting range of drink menu . Great if you’re driving and not in to alcohol , the choice is unlimited unlike your usual typical indian with basic soft drinks . There is dance floor to do some hip hop or just slow , choice is yours! We have been to most of their restaurants and it’s “simply the best” in terms of entertainment/ food and drinks . The prices are very reasonable for what you get from them and service is wonderful with a smile 😊 King prawn butterflies appetisers and king purree , wonderful and nicely flavoured, served with designer chillies 🌶️ and salad . Main courses , Tiger Prawn biryani/King prawn biryani/ duck biryani with side dishes of fresh bindi bhaji / sag bhaji & tarka dall - wow ! Simply mind blowing food 🥘- Average price £45.00 pp is well worth the trip with entertainment included , very reasonable. A meal is never complete without a coffee or indian chai , so for us it was floater coffee ( fresh cream coffee ) A wonderful meal with great food , service and entertainment. 😄It’s a must , if your planing anything from family meal to romantic , business or corporate dinners. Tarana was really nice as we originally booked as group from work but due to a colleague not well the whole booking had to be cancelled few hours before so managed to get away with not the full cancellation cost , so a big thank you for this from all the colleagues. I myself could not let this “Dua Lipa opportunity go “, so joined with some other friends who also booked to join us there, so all was not lost ! 🙂 Hopefully we will make up the numbers on the next visit from work :)

Nice restaurant, lovely food. But….we went on a Thursday night and I’m sorry to say the entertainment (a singer and two dancers) was so loud I literally couldn’t have a conversation with the person opposite me. The waiter couldn’t hear to take our orders. And even when the singing stopped it was replaced by thumping music. I asked for it to be turned down as was told the manager wouldn’t allow it. Wholly inappropriate for a restaurant (which was fairly empty). The entertainers put their everything into it and they were actually three talented young women, but wrong time, wrong place. I felt sorry for the large family with two new born babies who were trying to celebrate a birthday. And babies shouldn’t be exposed to that level of noise.

Absolutely loved this place, the food was brilliant and they had an Adele singer on the night. Only trouble that we had was the drinks service, which was dire, such a shame as the night was so good. The owner/manager was very apologetic for this. We'd happily still go back though!

Appalling experience. Ordered a takeaway at 18:30 and told it would arrive at 19:21. No food still by 20:00 and on calling were told that it would be 20mins. 40mins later, still no food and on calling again were told it still hadn’t left the restaurant as they had no driver to deliver! The lateness is one thing and can be accepted however lying about it is just plain ridiculous. Do not use!

Amazing food and great service!

I have been here several times for Sunday lunch. It is consistently good with a good choice of food. I love the rice pudding for dessert with fresh fruit. I'm not sure about dietary requirements but, am sure they would accommodate this.

Have ordered many time usually for collection, food is usually great, but the delivery is always 20-30mins later than estimated same goes for collection its never ready when there.

We were celebrating our anniversary. The service was excellent, the food was delicious. The restaurant has a great atmosphere. Definitely recommend.

Would not recommend Sunday Buffet. The hot food was bland and lacked spices. Vegetarians: Salad, rice and fruit were okay, but there was no Tarka Dall or Chana Masala. Well, I tried it once and try to remember not to be tempted again.
