Three pounds fifty pence for a cup of tea. £3.50 …….!!! In an area that has its fair share of cafes. £3.50 ? Can they really justify that price? It was quiet …..not particularly welcoming and just didn’t work for me.

It's wetherspoons, but pleasant enough, food is good for what it is, service is very good. You get what you pay for. Can't really complain.

Have been for a meal here before and enjoyed it. Last night however the meal was terrible. I don't know if it was a different chef, but certainly won't be returning. My friend ordered fish and chips and the fish was disgraceful. I've seen bigger fish fingers! There was a tiny piece of fish in a lot of batter. We were given £10 off the meal but it was both embarrassing and disappointing to take friends for a meal, telling them the food was good. My gammon meal cost £21 for a small amount of ham, a few chips and a hard egg and peas. I have had a better similar meal in a café for a fraction of the price. My friends mussels were overcooked and when we asked for the accompanying chips that were listed a pitiful amount arrived. All in all a very disappointing, expensive night.

Eating here is just like eating a subway in New York, Miami, or Chicago...except from this one you see in the distance the magnificent and storied spires of the Canterbury Cathedral. Who wouldn't want to have that view whilst enjoying a fine subway sandwich?
