Amazing place and the food was excellent! Definitely recommend the empanadas and the cazuela de mariscos, they were so delicious! My partner is Colombian and he really approved of the food and general ambience and hospitality! Staff was very friendly and we enjoyed our dinner to the fullest! I’d love to see Ajiaco on their menu next time :)

Some friends and I dropped in to the restaurant following an evening at Corsica Studios. We were made to feel very welcome by our waitress and the energy of the restaurant was fun. Our food was extremely high quality and we had the pleasure of meeting the chef (originally from Madrid) who also made us feel very welcome. Although the facilities were a little limited and rustic (due to space under the railway) it was fitting the character of the restaurant and overall a charming experience. I would recommend it to anyone looking for authentic Latin/South American cuisine in London on an affordable price tag. Highly rated and look forward to going back.

Located next to Elephant & Castle train station, in a real Latin enclave ( there are also other shops and bars nearby, related to South America), this cosy family run restaurant has been a true delight to try. Extremely generous portions, and authentic food respectful of the tradition. Simple but overall enjoyable atmosphere, ideal for families as well as fast solo lunch breaks. I cannot fault anything to the cuisine and the friendly staff: it was a big, satisfying meal, and the final price was, surprisingly, lower than expected. For sure it is a must try for all fans of South American food, looking for an affordable treat in central London.

I went there with a friend of mine few days ago and really enjoyed. As many said, the prices went up but food still nice and the atmosphere was good as well. We paid the bill but decided to stay longer and have few extra beers. I go to pay the beers and I noticed they added 2 extra - I didn't wanted to kick a fuss so I paid without questioning. Before leaving, my friend ordered 2 more beers and paid - and they tried to charge him for all the old drinks. By that point, I realised they actually ripping off people (especially if you are not Colombian). I would strongly recommend to watch out for the bill as they remove the empty bottles from the table very quick and that way you may lose track of what you ordered. I feel like they thought we were drunk (we weren't) so they could take advantage of it. It's a shame because we had a great time but I really don't mess about cheeky behaviours and unprofessionalism (with those prices).

I visited this restaurant with my friend on a busy Friday night around 8pm. The music was in full swing and the place really felt like it had a Latin vibe, something you would expect on the bustling streets of Medellin Colombia. This was under the railway arches in Elephant and Castle which added to the authentic feel along with the authentic food. Staff were very welcoming and knowledgable with the menu, we ordered the La Parrillada (BBQ meat platter) with rice, chips, salad and stewed beans. The restaurant was so busy the order took a little bit of a long time to arrive (35 minutes). Without me complaining or asking where my food was the waiter came over and said “I have seen you have been waiting for your food a long time, it’s going to be on the house. He brought the food straight away with a jug and of sangria. We were so surprised, happy and truly grateful for the hospitality he showed us. The food portions were massive and it was really tasty, and I recommend it to ANY avid meat eaters of tasty authentic Colombian cuisine…Give it a try you will love it, I will be going back very soon. Thank you once again Herman!! You saved the night.

I have been here many times and have now become a regular. You are guaranteed consistency with the food and it is super (and good portions too). Staff are great, very friendly. Service times very good (obviously when really busy you may have to wait a little longer than other times but this is not unreasonable). Slowly working my way through the menu! Definitely recommended!

Todo estuvo delicioso, excelentes porciones, muy buen precio y el trato del personal muy amable. Lo único que no me encantaron fueron las arepas, pero es entendible tomando en cuenta que están en un lugar donde no se pueden conseguir los mismos ingredientes que en Colombia, de ahí en más todo perfecto, volvería muchas más veces.

I have been to this restaurant several times and each time is as brilliant as the last. It has fast service, friendly staff, delicious food, clean and sanitary bathrooms and a lovely atmosphere. I couldn’t ask for more!! I definitely recommend!

Service was amazing at the beginning. My parents ordered a mixed grill I ordered a rice dish. Once we ordered I asked to change my dish as I wanted patacón they done it with no hesitation. I got my food and by the time I finished my parents dish was no where to be seen. We enquired and the man that deals with food said that because I ordered in two gosh my food was going to be delayed. I was a bit confused, well after 45 minutes my parents got their mixed grill and it was okay they said could have had a but more flavour. Overall nice ambience and extremely lovely waitresses. Only let down was food waiting times. The only thing my dad liked was the beer, a Stella.

I have been here a number of times while visiting London. I have always found the service to be extremely friendly and helpful. The food is incredible and the portion sizes are very generous, therefore the prices are reasonable with great value for money. Good atmosphere and the restaurant is clean. Definitely worth a visit and I will continue to be a repeat customer.

A great find, hidden away behind the station . Really authentic Colombian place , friendly great service . Seemed to be mostly Colombians / s.americans eating there which is always a good sign. Had the menu del dia, an absolute feast for £8 (lunchtime only I imagine). All cooked to perfection , will be back for sure !

Descubrimos este sitio por casualidad y nos sorprendió bastante. Ubicado en la zona de Elephant & Castle, en una calle trasera que no es fácil de encontrar, es un restaurante de comida colombiana auténtica a un precio muy competitivo.El servicio tiene una atención excelente y la comida está realmente buena, por lo que sin duda, es una opción muy a tener en cuenta si te gusta la comida colombiana y vas a Londres.

I’ve been in this restaurant plenty of times and always the service and food are amazing. The waiters and the woman in the till always are really friendly, not complains at all. I highly recommend the Bandeja Paisa.

We had a birthday party celebration with a large group. The staff was very accommodating with our set up requests and helped us with the cake, lights and singing happy birthday, etc. ohh the food was amazing!!! The best empanadas I have had in the last few years. I also had the chicken with mushroom sauce and it was amazing! The portions are generous, so make sure you have an empty tummy to enjoy. All fruit juice was lovely too. I wish I lived in London so I can enjoy more often.

We went to Leños y Carbon a weekday for lunch and we ordered the menu del día (the menu of the day) which includes first and main courses and a drink. There is a variety of typical Colombian dishes to chose from and it was yummy. The staff is very nice and the place makes you feel in Colombia. But the best thing is the price. Really value for money!

This place wasn’t what I expected when the restaurant said Columbian food. I was in the mood for a Colombian sandwich, but that wasn’t on the menu. I ordered the salmon with seafood marinera sauce. When it came out, it looked kind of unpleasant but the food tasted much better than what it looked. The sauce was very good when mixed with the rice. Some of the seafood was unidentifiable but it was overall really good.

He visitado varias veces Leños y carbon, el servicio es muy bueno. La dueña es muy amable. La sangria esta exquisita. La mentablemente la ultima vez que visite el restaurante pedi un arroz con marisco y no estaba del todo bien preparado. El arroz estaba pasado, no tenia sabor.

Mis amigos y yo estamos visitando restaurantes en Londres que se especializan en comida de otros países. Este está justo al lado de la estación de tren en Elephant and Castle, ¡tan cerca que puede que te lo pierdas! Pedimos empanadas para empezar. Eran realmente buenos, pero más grandes de lo que esperaba. Lo grande parece ser normal en los restaurantes latinoamericanos. Cuando llegó mi plato principal, se sintió enorme. Habiendo comido dos empanadas, mi apetito no era suficiente para hacerle justicia. La comida era ciertamente diferente e interesante, ¡pero realmente necesitas estar bastante hambriento para hacerle justicia!

I went on a wet and windy Saturday afternoon around 3.30pm. Outside on the main street a Central American dance group was bopping to the beat. The restaurant, under the railway arches, has a narrow frontage and can be easily missed.

I love their food, It is really good value for money! Dishes are massive and delicious at reasonable price, My favourite thing are empanadas!

Después de un poco de investigación me encontré con este lugar. Con excelentes críticas y un excelente menú, reservé una mesa para mis amigos y yo.

Me presentaron a este restaurante hace unos años por un amigo que es colombiano, así que imagino que este debe ser un auténtico restaurante colombiano si los colombianos vienen a comer. Esta fue la segunda vez que lo visité.

Never eaten Colombian food before but what a great experience. It doesn’t look much from the outside but do go in. The staff were lovely & the atmosphere warm & welcoming. We were unsure what to eat but on the waiters recommendation had several tapas type dishes to share & get a real taste for the food. Empanadas were delicious & who knew plantains with cheese would be so good. Would definitely return when next in London.

Un par de amigos recomiendan este restaurante como el mejor restaurante colombiano en Londres. La decoración es austera pero 100% auténtica y la comida es increíble. Fue mi segunda visita con amigos y todos estábamos contentos con nuestros platos, Churrasco, Bandeja Paisa, Patacón con todo y Tilapia Marinera. Todos los platos eran diferentes de mi visita anterior y todos eran geniales. Esta vez no pedimos entrante porque las raciones son enormes, pero si tienes hambre, hay una buena selección de mariscos, Calamares (calamares) ir Gambas (gambas). No pudimos probar el postre porque estábamos en un coma de comida, pero pedí un café y estaba delicioso.

Super restaurant colombien familial, l’accueil est chaleureux, il y a principalement des sud-américains qui viennent se retrouver pour manger dans une ambiance conviviale, beaucoup d’écrans de télévision pour diffuser les matchs de foot, pour en revenir à la nourriture, ce ne sont que des spécialités colombiennes, c’est peu cher et très bon, ne pas manquer les empanadas en entrée excellent, sans oublier le fameux bandeja paisa très très copieux. N’hésitez vraiment pas si vous êtes dans le quartier pour découvrir une autre nourriture.

So nice to have a restaurant in the UK that does real Colombian food. It also helps that the food is delicious. Service is also great - they went out of their way to help me order a voucher as a gift for somebody, which required a roundabout solution as I don't live in London anymore. The Patacon con todo was incredible, and they also do great juices. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great and authentic Colombian meal!

My family surprised me with an early theatre trip to celebrate my upcoming birthday as I will be away working. Despite pouring rain we then headed here for dinner. One thing I would recommend here is either do starters or mains, not both. The portions were generous and as a result could not finish so had to ask for a doggy bag for the mixed grill. I love Colombian food so we ordered an empanada each (large), yuca, arepa, squid and Criole potatoes. For main I had Bandeja Paisa. For those not in the know a Pork paradise of Chops, Pork scratching, Chorizo sausage, Rice, Plantain, Beans and salad. It is not often I do not finish but this was one rare occasion. My wife had Mojara Frita (Fish, nearest comparison is Bream), kids had the mixed grill and eldest son had Seafood soup. Washed down by refreshing Club Colombia beer. The atmosphere is 100% Colombian and even the TV is cabled in from there and the décor right out of Bogota. With the rain falling on a plastic roof it almost sounded authentic and only ruined by the SouthEastern trains trundling above the arches of this restaurant. We went early (6pm) and it was already filling up so might be advisable to reserve.

The restaurant from the outside is not much to look at but from the minute we sat down from the great atmosphere to the friendly staff we already felt we had made the right choice. The starters were very fresh and extremely tasty. We had seafood which did not appear to have been frozen at all tasted very fresh! Then the mains came. My partner had ordered their £20 steak which would easily have cost £50-60 in other restaurants as it was the biggest steak I have ever seen. All the side plates come with rice,chips and salad which all were very fresh and cooked perfectly. The chicken I had was amazing. Huge portions, everything extremely tasty. Felt like we were in Columbia rather than centre of London. I would definitely recommend!!!!!

The whole experience is just brilliant. I absolutely love Colombian & Latin american food and have been over many times and this is the closest to actually being in Colombia! Ayer fui con un grupo de amigos a cenar juntos. Bueno, resultó ser una pesadilla. Esto comenzó cuando nos preguntaron cómo queríamos que se cocinara la carne. Pedí medio, terminé teniendo un bien hecho que era una pulgada de ser recocido. Igual sucedió con mis amigos, solo estábamos enviando platos con comida. Después de 2/3 oleadas de platos, decidimos que deberíamos comerlo. Era casi imposible masticarlo. Las patatas fritas estaban congeladas, el arroz estaba recocido y la ensalada no estaba fresca.

En mi última estancia corta en Londres que estaba buscando comida latina (no incluye comida mexicana), este es el único lugar que sentimos auténtica en ese sentido de los que vi. Que se encuentra y lo que parece ser un barrio colombiano en Londres, así que ya era interesante. La comida no era increíble, pero fue bueno, el lugar tenía el espíritu Latinoamericano y las porciones eran grandes. Me gustaría volver aquí.

I am half Colombian, and love connecting with my culture, like with food and music. Luckily, I got exactly that. The food was just like in Colombia. OMG! The rice was amazing! "Al estilo Colombiano" as I would say. The music was also nice with typical salsa, merengue, cumbia and some reggaeton. The atmosphere on a Wednesday was actually not as bad as i was expecting, but i'm sure that its amazing on Fri-Sun.

Caminar a través de la puerta y es como ser transportado a América del Sur. Mucha gente colombiana comer aquí. Puedo ver por qué. La comida es impresionante. Bien vale la pena un viaje a Elephant & Castle.

La comida es buena aunque el servicio deja mucho que desear. Después de 15 minutos de ordenar nos trajeron la bebidas que no eran y se dieron cuenta porque les preguntamos. Cuando terminamos de comer nos toco poner los platos hacia un lado para que los retiraran pero ni así. Intento de llamar la atención del camarero, un cliente que nos vio le aviso al camarero que lo estábamos llamando. Pedimos la cuenta, después de 15 minutos nos toco ir a pedir la cuenta a la barra. Nos cobro y aún no nos habían recogido los platos de la mesa.

Comer en leños y Carbon es como conseguir recompensado con un viaje a Colombia que seguía siendo del sur de Londres. Entras por la puerta y - presto - una noche de invierno en Elephant and Castle está en otro sitio y te transporta. Hay fútbol en pantallas (el sonido si apagado): es Colombia. El personal es encantador. El ambiente es alegre, en este viernes por la noche hay una afluencia en gran parte de Latinoamérica. Los filetes en otras mesas son poderosas, con mucha carne y charry, como Fred Troncomóviles estaría encantada. Las empanadas son bastante grandes, en vez de recién horneado (Estilo colombiano), la carne abundante bien sazonada y deliciosos. Valor super, £1. 50 para un bocado de muchos - empanada. La bandeja paisa es mejor que la que hemos tenido en Bogotá. Tenía un picar el chorizo y de la gran porción de panceta de cerdo con su chispeante crujientes y me impresionó. Y la mera vista de un patacón tan lejos de Colombia está bastante guay. Mi lomo de gnósticos eran dos rebanadas generosas de suculenta en una equilibrada salsa de manzana, servido con arroz, ensalada y patatas fritas en otro plato porque no todos van a ai caben en sólo un plato. No vamos a ir con hambre. Nuestro compañero tenía una bandeja para vegetarianos y no vegetarianos paisa estaba muy emocionado por que pero es un plato de carne y la carne es un restaurante céntrico, así que probablemente no es el lugar ideal para vegetarianos. Varios otros comensales dándonos un "buenas noches" ya que la izquierda, que es lo que Colombia (encantadora de cuando estás sentado solo en un café en Colombia y la gente que camina en saludarte. No pasa en LDN cada día).

Vi blev anbefalet denne af en colombianer i London. Vi har været i Colombia flere gange og trangen til Empanadas og Arepas var gennemtrængende. Restauranten ligger lidt gemt bag hhv. jernbane og indkøbscenter, men vi fandt den! Colombians atmosfære med gæstfrihed og udsmykning. Flere gæster tydeligvis fra Sydamerika. Vores Arepas og Empanadas smagte dejligt, og da vi ikke kunne spise op, da fik vi vore rester med i en doggy-bag. Vi kommer gerne igen ved et nyt besøg til London/England. Tak for en god oplevelse!

As a Colombian I like to take the opportunity to eat food from my native country as much as possible. I have eating in this restaurant many times with family and friends. Not only is very convinrent suited close to Elephants & Castle train and tube station but it can be reach by many buses and road link.

Hidden in Elephant and Castle, very nice Latin American food, particularly Colombian. The service was quick and good, even thought one of the waiter was a bit lost and forgot one item of the order. We had empanadas (which had a great taste) and one parrillada mixta to share (which was huge and we had to take the part of it home). In overall, if you are looking for a nice Latin American restaurant this one is great.

The T-bone is not only huge but also tastes very good. The meat is tender with great seasoning. It is the best steak I have in UK!

Ahora se llama Faktory y difícil de encontrar, pero vale la pena la búsqueda. Y de hecho fue una búsqueda del tesoro en Elephant and Castle, detrás de la estación. Sospecho que no me quedaría un secreto local. Fuimos a cenar con un amigo colombiano que se encargó de la comida española - excelente orden I. entrantes que incluye gambas y porciones enormes de la licitación, bistec suculento plato principal con una orden lado de ensalada. Excelente servicio rápido, pero simplemente no podía terminar la principal - demasiada comida, pero esperamos que la bolsa para el perro!

It's a little bit hidden, but near tube station elephant and castle, amazingly large portions of meet, lovely selection of lager and friendly staff, excellent Latin atmosphere highly recommend you will be not disappointed friendly prices!!!

I was up in London and my sister in law found this restaurant to eat at. We agreed to meet here however we found it impossible to find and were walking around for ages - we then called them to learn their name had changed to Faktory (no signs to inform us of this). We quickly found them and went in. Very glad we stuck to trying to find them as the food was amazing - they catered for gluten and dairy free. The bone steak is massive, but nicely cooked and very well flavoured, enough to feed two people! Traditional dish was also delicious!

The food and the atmosphere is really latin , the meat just great.We had a selection of the most famous plates and we enjoyed a lot. It was my second time and not the last one for sure.

We have visited many times with friends and family as they all want to go when they see the pictures and listen to our experience there. Portions are HUGE! I can´t honestly say anything bad about any dishes I have tried. Not a posh place but quality is good and you feel like in a famliar atmosphere.

The restaurant has a very friendly environment, waiters are very welcoming and the food portions are huge and very tasty. Restaurant is costly, but very cost effective when compared to other London restaurants that serve anywhere near as much food!The only problem is that speaking Spanish seems to be a requirement if you want to make yourself understood. My husband and I have been here many times over the last year and the food has always been really good but the service leaves much to desire.Today we were in the mood for Colombian food so we decided to go again. We were sat down and all the waiters forgot we existed! Other tables came in after us and they got served while we still hadn't even been offered drinks. After 20 minutes of waiting the table next to us left and a waiter decided to clear it rather than serve us!! This was the final straw so we walked out. The worst part is they didn't even care when we did. You think the owner who has seen us there many times would have said something.I doubt we will ever go back, it's a real shame because the food is very taste.

Had visited this restaurant on many occasions, and though I have always been left down by the service and customer service aftercare, I always think maybe next time will be better but today I have again been proven wrong and I have just had enough! Starting with the owner, you are always at lost because he is really uptight and don't like if you complain or just say things as they are. Today is the last time I will be visiting this restaurant, and truly it's a shame because the food really is nice and the portions are very generous! I wish the management could do something about the service, but unfortunately if starting with the owner he doesn't give a monkey about its customers, then I can see there is no hope! Absolutely frustrated and disappointed! Sometimes even if you pay more, good customer service and satisfaction is priceless!

I have been to different Colombian places in London but this one has got the tastiest food so far. In addition the service is very gentle and attentive. The portions are generous in comparison with other places and the empanadas are amazing. I had Bandeja paisa which is red beans, rice, eggs, and so on. I barely could walked out of the place as I was really full.I highly recommend this place if you want to have a nice time with your friends, a nice beer and an empanada as a tapa.

Located behind the Elephant and Castle train station it doesn't look like much on the outside. Inside has been refurbished since my last visit , and looks more upscale than before. Large screen tv and Latin music set the mood for a casual / family dinner. The food is Columbian with a heavy accent on steaks and plantain. Fish is also on the menu. A Spanish style tapas menu is also available. The arepas here are authentic and delicious. Portion sizes are generous, and prices less than a central london steakhouse. Too full to try the deserts , but they sounded delicious. Service was fast and friendly.

We ate here and practically rolled out the door - the portions are huge. I had the fish stew which was a little disappointing as it was mostly squid, however the sauce was amazing and enough to satisfy. We even got a chance to try out our Spanish on the mostly Spanish speaking staff. Friendly atmosphere, large space and spotless, will return.

If you prefer quality beef over fancy appearance than this is the place for you. In fact, having been a seasoned latin America traveler, you will hardly believe yourself being in London as regards quality, price and.... service. Yes, you may have to compromise on the latter and your waiter may not be fluent in english but I dare anyone to finish their churasco Argentino, which is an estimated 1 kg T bone cooked to perfection with sensational chimi churi sauce for under £20. Anywhere else in London you will be charged at least double for half the portion. Also, the wines are truly amazing and affordable. Aks the waiter for recommendations. If you wanna waste your dosh, go to one of the many chains in central London. If you like meat, venture out to the Elephant and Castle for Lenos y Carbon. If you don't fancy the challenge of the aforementioned T-bone, go for the steak pimenta but order it rare if you want it medium and blue if you want it rare (they are large but thin). Can get a but noisy and you may have to remind your waiter you exist, but it will be worth it.

Service is quick, portions are HUGE, very good value (menu del dia is 2 courses and a drink for £7.50) and really tasty! Take an appetite and eat first course quickly. Definitely recommend hot sauce - goes brilliantly with plantain fritters!

If you would like to try nice Colombian dishes then this place is highly recommended !The food is very tasty and veryyyyyy very big portions get ready! I love their juices with milk !!!

Went here with my student daughter. This place is amazing!The location may make you a little wary, it's underneath the train line at elephant and castle, but the atmosphere is amazing, there were plenty of other diners, the background music was just that, in the background and I could have a conversation with my daughter.The food itself was truly amazing, and in large portions, and very, very tasty, I had the seafood stew, and I'm glad I did, plenty of variety and served bubbling hot. The staff were all extremely pleasant and attentive and I will definitely be making my way back here as soon as I can to try one of the other dishes.On top of that for the amount and quality of food, I was able to get a meal for me and my daughter with drinks in central London for £30. Very impressive.

Food is amazing. You get what you pay for and more being food. it was 10 of us and hey everything was amazing. I was celebrating my grandma bday and they even put the happy birthday song for her.Staff are nice.i defo recommend

My Colombian boyfriend took me to have a taste of South American food, my was l VERY impressed. Really nice place and all the staff are nice. There is a mixture of curious non south Americans (gringos) ha and certified south americans that know their food. Anything beef there is amazing.!! very well seasoned and so so tasty!! The cuts are true to their description and the portion sizes (omg) so so big. Great wine selection!! l would recommend for a meal with friends, your loved one or a group for celebration.

We took a group of friends to the restaurant, because we heard it is one of the best Colombian Restaurants in London. We surely were not disappointed:The staff does not speak English but luckily we had a good amount of Spanish speakers to assist The portions were huge, hardly anyone was able to finishThe food was amazing, no doubt one of the best dishes I have tried in LondonThe venue is a bit - well you won't take anyone there for a date, that is for sure, but it is a good place to go with a lot of people. Definitely a place to recommend for a great international food experience.

Estudiaba en la uni en Elephant & Castle. A mi me encanta la cocina colombiana y hay muchos restaurantes de este tipo en E&C pero mi favorito es este. Siempre pido el menu del dia. Para londres es super barato. Te ponen una buena sopa mas un plato combinado y refresco por solo £7 o algo asi. La carne a la plancha es mi plato preferido. Cada vez que viajo a londres es mi primera parada y luego salgo satisfecho y super lleno!!

I've gone to this restaurant so many times and my opinion about is exactly the same, magnificent. I mean, food, price, service. I always finish full after eat nice food. The food taste is very good. I recommend this place, definitely.

Visiting my brother and sister in law in London so they took me again here. They have moved and the new place is nice. The food is still fantastic. My 3 year old son tried the starter ribs and ate them all and he's an extremely fussy eater. My chicken was lovely and enjoyed with rice. We took my dad as well and he thoroughly enjoyed his first visit. Lovely friendly staff and enjoyable lunch. Thankyou

Its my 3rd or 4th visit to Lenos & Carbon and the quality is always outstanding. So far, I only have been for lunch and the deal could not be better: 7 pounds for delicious soup, main and drink. Would be happy if for the price the food would be just fine. But the quality is excellent. I tried the fish soup, the beans and the lentils soup and they are all buenissimas! As mains my favorites are the pork or chicken grilled. My only problem is that the portions are huge, but so yummy that I can't leave anything behind so I end up eating much more than I am use to. Its hard to believe that someone rate this place as terrible. Maybe is someone who is not happy by having such a great restaurant on the neighborhood.Cant praise this place enough!

We've been today for a lunch it was really good and also really quick although we had to wait a little bit to find a table.the restaurant is actually quite busy most of the time and is better if you book a table before, we didn't know that so we waited, anyway the waiter came to take our order and in more and less 15 min our food was ready. Nothing bad to say cause the place and the atmosphere was quite good but they can improve their costumer service the guy was running all the time and he seemed quite stressed. I'll recommend you to try their "bandeja paisa" which is around 14£ really good and tasty!!!

Vine aquí a cenar y quedé fascinada. Es un sitio que merece ser visitado. La atención que tuvimos muy buena. Hay de todo. De verdad que te puedes dar un mimo de tu tierra. Yo ya he recomendado este restaurante y a todos les ha gustado. Queda muy cerca de la estación Elefant and Castle.Lo recomiendo bastante además porque las instalaciones son buenas y bien decoradas.

I've been with many friends !!! Always when they ask me to go for a Colombian meal I take them there !!!! Every body loves it so far !!! Very nice food and very good value for many I'd dare say very cheap to be in London !!!!!! Nice one !!!

My review is only about the t-bone steak. To call it big would be understatement. To call it enormous would be selling it short. To say that it is large would be misleading.This ladies and gentleman is the biggest most tastiest and best value for money steak in London!I am bringing friends back in May and if they finish one I have offered to buy the drinks.Oh....and the service for me was lovely and super friendly without any false airs and graces. I'm a local laid back gringo who has been to Colombia and like Colombians. Maybe that helps! :)

Hace un par de días estuve en el restaurante con mi esposo y con sólo entrar uno percibe una mala energía, la administradora o dueña es súper sería los empleados con cara de amargura, esperamos alrededor de 35 min eso no fue lo peor nos llevaron la orden que no era en ningún momento pasa algún mesero preguntando si estamos bien o se nos ofrece algo más es como si no quisieran hacer sus trabajos al momento de pagar le hice un par de comentarios constructivos a la señora q estaba en la caja y ella respondió súper fuera de tono todo el tiempo jaja jaja mmm jaja voy a hablar con ellos (se refería a los meseros) yo le dije señora voy hacer mi review y ella me dijo; pues hacer lo que se le la gana. Uno que le pide a un mesero cuando la misma dueña es peor q ellos........ Mucho tiempo esperando, orden equivocada, carne súper seca y un mal servicio por donde uno lo vea.

Received terrible customer service! I wasn't sure if the waiter didn't speak english or refused to speak english but he told us to basically go elsewhere if we weren't happy with the food. Food was overcooked. Never returning.

As a family of 4 we make a visit to Lenos & Carbon at least once every two months for the last 4 years, so to say that we like the place is an understatement. You don't go there for the decor or atmosphere, you go there for extremely good Colombian food and good service. But there again, all the waiters knows us very well and we get speedy service. However, I can understand how people might grumble as there are not of them and it can be difficult during week end nights.The menu is great and the prices in the last 4 years have really not raised that much. The best time to go is late afternoon during the week end around 5-6pm, otherwise book a table, attempt to get a table without a reservation after 7pm is futile. The music can be a little overpowering so make sure you sit away from the speakers. The T-Bone Steak is simply Huuuuuuugggee, the Yuca fritas yummy, and every time I take a Bandeja Paisa I have to take it home with me. Also as must is their Lula milkshake.

A very latin american ambiance, food prepared as if my mum had done just for me... but we went for the very pearl of Colombian traditional food: The Bandeja Paisa, simply Massive and very hearty!!! Come on, give it a go, the owner was very courteous and polite and the staff very helpful and approachable.

I was recommended by a friend of mine ages ago so I was looking for some place to eat so I Suggested this place to my Girfriend and Cousin ,in the menu they have : Parrillada De Mariscos, (seafood barbecue sort of thing) it does say it's not grilled, but I still spected some sort of babecue instead I got seafood in a creamy sauce now I love seafood but I hate it with cream, so I called the manager/owner to tell him that it was not what I expected to what his answer was : this what we call it here , and I can't change it . It's also fair to say I did not touch it at all, He seemed ofended, then my cousin soup that comes together with a second dish seemed to be off , he also complained and was given the same answer as myself , my gf had meat barbecue which I had to share with her , it was ok , ribs very dry Pork horrible . We were charged around 58 pounds for the one meal we had , when paying we tried to argue that the Service was very poor , to what the lady said : do you cook ? Do your know anything about food ? I was in shock . My cousin is a Restaurant Manager in a very prestigious restaurant and I have also worked in Hospitality for 9 years. I would never talk to a costumer in the way they do. I would not recommend to anyone .Disgraceful , horrible experience !! Never Again .

I was looking for a place to eat before going to Southwark theatre and found this place. The food is typical Colombian food and you get a huge portion. So when ordering get one main for 2 people as I did with my partner and even though we were unable to finish the whole meal and ended up leaving food for another person to eat. You should try.
