Wonderful cafe with great service and great food. The Biscoff Cheesecake was undoubtedly the best Cheesecake I have ever had... bar none!!! Highly recommended 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽🏆

Absolutely disgusting attitude from the younger girl with dark hair. Spoke to us like we were stupid. Apparently you’re supposed to be a mind reader and know their schedule on reserved tables. They’re extremely unwelcoming. I’m also vegetarian and asked for a pancake stack with NO bacon and it came out with a tiny bit of bacon on the top. Will never give my business to this cafe again. Better cafe’s in Tavistock to visit.

Superb cafe, great service - the Greek Avo Smash is absolutely to die for. This cafe is highly recommended for breakfast lunch or mid afternoon tea.

This spot is great for a casual lunch with a cozy aesthetic and yummy lunch. Was served by a younge girl with long blonde hair and she was exquisite!

We love L❤️VE this eatery. Awesome tasty and wholesome food, great coffees, brilliant and exceptional clean amenities. All served to you by a caring and friendly team. Honestly we go nowhere else. Breakfast, sandwiches, lunch AND ICE-CREAM direct from their counter chiller. Great place... 😉🤗

Imagine you're strolling the streets of Tavistock, craving a sweet and refreshing treat to cool yourself down from The scorching heat... And the you find Lemon Grove Cafe and everything becomes CHILL!! The mango and lime ice cream was 'mouth watering and scrumptious. Would rate it five stars anyday!' according to one of us who tasted the cool, refreshing treat. Smoothie wise, just LUSH is all we can say!! If a milkshake is what your after, you've come to the right place. Squirty cream, sauces, sprinkles and a difficult choice of flavour, Lemon Grove has it all. Lemon-tastic. Lemon-full. Lemon-lishish!!!!

This cafe is brilliant for breakfast, lunch and snacks or just to pop in for a coffee and watch the world go by. It is clean, the staff are lovely and helpful, the prices are good, we only had a toasted tea cake and coffee but it was nice, plenty of butter. Toilet facilities first class

I visited with my girls for a late lunch, it was rather busy but the lovely server made us up a table at the window. Fantastic menu with good variety of meals to light bites and snacks with a wide selection of drinks. I had the bacon and brie toastie which was delicious and with plenty of top quality bacon. My eldest had the bacon and cheese baguette which she enjoyed (although she thought there was a bit too much cheese) and my youngest had the lemon crepe which was huge and she really enjoyed. Service was very good, polite, cheery and not pushy. The café was clean a welcoming and the toilet facilities good. Prices good for the quality of the food and service. My only comment would be, that as we were in a window seat, passers by were looking in and reading the menu on our table which we found a bit annoying. Many thanks and highly recommended.

Really lovely vegan breakfast, even comes with vegan spread. Excellent vegan sausages and perfect hash browns! Lovely menu and reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend.

We came across this cafe and went in for lunch and were so glad we did. There was so much to choose from…toasties, jackets, ploughman’s…. I had a jacket potato and my husband had a toastie and fries. Both were delicious, plentiful and good value. We’ll definitely be back!

Excellent food served by an outstanding team led by Chloe T, in what can only be described as delightful surroundings. The service was superb and all of the staff were friendly, efficient and outstandingly professional. Will definitely be going back and would recommend anyone.

Following a recommendation we stopped by for lunch. The food was good and service was very good given how busy it was. Nice specials menu.

Stopped here whilst on holiday. Absolutely amazing. Cosy atmosphere, friendly attentive staff and a great choice on the menu. When we walked in there were no seats but the waitress handed us some menus and said if we could wait a couple of minutes she would sort something. Sure enough she freed up a table. It didn’t take long for food and drinks to come and the portion sizes were huge. They were helpful with choosing a gluten free option too. Making sure I knew what would be suitable. We will definitely visit again :)

I really would not recommend this place to anyone. When i arrived with my family we were ignored, tables were dirty and we had to move plates to another table. The staff were plain rude having conversations amongst themselves while ignoring us at the till we had no idea how to order at this place because of this. Then we had a look at the menu and the prices were ridiculous really taking the mickey so we left. Will not be returning thorouly disappointed honestly don’t understand why people hire young useless staff like that 🙄 It had no atmosphere and was quite dark for the middle of the day. Went to coffee and cream patisserie instead I don’t particularly enjoy going there as it’s nothing to write home about but it was much better and the customer service was brilliant!

I love this cafe, me and my boyfriend go all the time for a quick lunch date. Lovely quick food always, and not overpriced. Rare to see an independent cafe so busy these days. Need to try the crepes next!

Sorry but we had lunch here today and I wasn’t impressed at all .Firstly this reserved business for the customers that no the staff .This should be first come first serve .Myself and husband didn’t feel welcome . Ordered toasted sandwich not toasted and didn’t receive the sandwich I ordered . Some of the staff lacking customer service skills . Won’t be returning

Lovely clean and friendly cafe in the very centre of Tavistock. Toasted sandwiches are really tasty and cheese scones are nice. Excellent coffees and milk shakes!

Always consistent, been here a few times and have never been disappointed including over the covid pandemic they work very hard and put a lot of love in. Great food, highly recommend pancakes…I keep meaning to try something else! Service is always great, very cheerful and efficient team.

Food was great - very tasty. Atmosphere was as you’d expect from a High Street Cafe, nothing special but perfectly adequate. Only downside was our waitress who failed to smile or say please or thank you - it seems the customers were an inconvenience to her.

It was very good. We had child pancake stacks and ice cream sundaes. The waitress was very helpful and friendly and did amazing sprinkles. Did an unbelievably good job with the sundaes.

Short unexpected trip into Tavistock for lunch. Found this lovely dog friendly cafe - staff really helpful. Generous portions of food (Vegan chilli/beef burger and chips) very reasonably priced.
