Quite disappointed that my lunch had to come from the kiddies menu, you would have thought that in this age there would have been a vegetarian sandwich choice!

Leigh’s at Brabazon at Beaulieu is trying their best with Covid but the service is skin and disorganised. Meals arrived in three stages, despite being ordered together and drinks had to be chased as they’d been forgotten.

very disorganized, several queues and each doing something different, but not clear until you got near the front. Wanted a bacon roll, but you needed a table number *after queuing for 10 mins) in a crowded venue, they would only serve to the table so that was not going to happen! Better organized for crowds and this could be much better

Called in for drinks and snacks. Chose some toasted sandwiches, which were put in the toaster, but we had to wait whilst other customers were served. I obviously knew I had to wait, but I think the staff forgot them, it seemed a long while. The whole cafe seemed a bit disorganised, there was a young girl sweeping the floor, she went round twice while we were there, but passed by dirty plates etc on tables but didn’t clear them. As you might expect, high prices for average food, but once in the museum there’s little option.

Why do they call this place a restaurant?? It is a self service cafeteria. The choice of food is very limited, a school canteen offers a better heathier choice. What did £25 buy us?? Two portions of fish and chips with mushy peas and a bottle of cider! Fish portion was small and the chips were undercooked. Half were left along with the mushy peas. Be advised bring a packed lunch and save yourself a lot of grief.

In reply to various Tripadviser postings, we often hear from the Manager that "we will put it right", "we are correcting it", "plans are afoot to change" and so on and so forth. What happens? absolutely nothing. Nothing has changed for the better at Brabazon in the past 7 years to my knowledge. Prices are still sky high, and service appalling with 15/20 minute delays in paying for food unacceptable. The wh9le place needs to be taken over by someone who cares, and can offer decent food at reasonable prices, with speedy service.

While on a visit to Beaulieu recently I decided to partake of lunch in the Brabazon cafe. .I ordered the chefs salad with chicken for £7.50. What I got was a mixed salad with about 3 very thin slices of chicken about one inch by three, and the whole meal barely filled a small dessert dish. I have seen bigger "starters". I was so disgusted that I refused to pay such a price for a "snack" and took it back. Being hungry I changed it for the "lasagne with salad and garlic bread" for £8.95. This was hardly any better. The lasagne was in a small dish about four inches diameter, two small thin slices of garlic bread and the "salad" was just a selection of lettuce leaves with nothing else. Service waiting for meal to be served was nothing short of diabolical, waiting some 15/20 minutes, and then I had to wait another 15 minutes in a very small queue to pay, the food and coffee in the meantime getting cold. I shall never use this facility again. Overpriced would be an understatement. Rip off would be more to the point. I would rather drive to Lymington for a bag of chips, in half the time and for a fraction of the cost.

The cafe at Beaulieu was very poor. The food was over priced the queuing system confusing and very drawn out. Used it twice on the same day (No choice once you're in there) 2nd time was us and 1 other table. Took 10 minutes to get 4 teas and 4 slices of cake over £22! The tea was really good quality that earned then the 1* cake was dry and lacked flavour. Lunch time we queued for over 1/2hr despite not being that busy there was no where to rest the tray so had to be held the entire time. The food was very average apart from the price. Over £5 four a baguette nearly £10 for the smallest fish you've ever seen. Could be great but needs properly organising either quality of good improving or price reduced to reflect the standard available. Was the only downside to our visit Beaulieu. Left as constructive criticism.

Based centrally in the museum grounds it’s a good self serve cafe/ restaurant that serves homemade cakes scones etc, you can get hot food, tea coffee and prices are reasonable, in summer there is also an area to sit outside, it’s larger than you can see and has toilets on lower area, when we visited they had a lovely poster display of different scenes and subjects. Good place to stop and recharge your batteries on your journey around Beaulieu.

My wife and I were pleasantly surprised on our recent visit on Saturday 3rd March. The soup of the day (Carrot and Coriander) was superb with croutons and two large wedges of bread (choice of 5 styles). This is a great improvement on previous visits. The only doubt i have is the questionable decision to make this "at seat" service instead of cafeteria style. The day of our visit was quiet due to the weather and the service was quick and served up by a great gentlemen on the till whose name I do not remember, but he is truly an asset to the restaurant, as nothing was too much trouble and in my opinion went beyond the call of duty to satisfy us. However, on a busy day, I think this will be a very challenging service style, unless there is sufficient staff to make it work. I do hope this does work, as one part of the story is now getting better, in the quality of the food.

I had visited the Motor Museum, with my son and a student, and as we needed lunch we thought we would give the Brabazon Café (Leiths at Beaulieu) a try, and I honestly wished we had not bothered. The chicken burgers were what looked like pieces of chicken breast, that had been marinated and cooked, but hen left around for a while. The Brioche bun felt stale and was not pleasant to eat, very stodgy. The chips and coleslaw (an additional £2.00 on top of the £5.75 for the burger) were OK, the chips were good, the coleslaw was just about OK.It is a shame when someone puts their name to a restaurant, and you just get lacklustre, mediocre food.Someone really needs to take a close look, and taste the food, to see if they are happy.I would not go here again.

This review just applies to this particular eatery, and not to any other on-site restaurant. I have no idea whether Leith's is the Brabazon, or not, hence this caveat. What I can say is that the Brabazon is one of the worst on-site restaurants I have ever had the misfortune to eat in. Issue 1 is the way it is laid out. Finding the start of the queue is your first challenge, as the food service area is symmetrical, and people were coming in from either end.Issue 2 was finding trays, any trays in fact, as well as finding cutlery that was actually clean.Issue 3 was the minor infestation of wasps, many of whom were having a fine old time diving in and out of the sauces and condiments on the counter. The staff paid no attention to this. However, their customers did. One pair of kids sitting at the table opposite us expected their parents to return with meals, found instead their Mum and Dad scowling, saying, 'We had to send the food back. it was crawling with insects..' They promptly left. I felt quite ill at this point. Nobody was clearing plates from the table?? That might have been one of the reasons why. Issue 4 was the poor quality of the food. My margherita pizza, despite being cooked fresh to order, had a distinctly unpleasant aftertaste, and despite being ravenous, I couldn't finish it. My wife's 'meal' was not much better, and we left, leaving our food unfinished. Genuinely, I felt a bit queasy afterwards....The Brabazon genuinely needs a formal inspection from an Environmental Health Inspector as its standards of food preparation and cleanliness are below standard to such an extent that it is jeopardising the health of its visitors. It either needs to improve immediately, or close.

This is a destination restaurant but not in the usual sense. On site catering can be very hit or miss but this is just about spot on. A simple menu well prepared and whilst not cheap it will not break the bank. My food was hot when put on the plate but just as I moved towards the pay point and the cashiers were whisked away by an alien force field, or perhaps multiple calls of nature leaving me unable to lighten my wallet. Eventually the desks were repopulated but not by the cashier but the very polite and helpful server upper. Oh the temptation not to pay was immense but that would mean a visit to the naughty step. I paid but my food had cooled by then so not as happy as I could have been.

We visited this restaurant as part of an excellent day out at the Beaulieu National Motor Museum (which also incorporates Abbey and Palace House) on Sunday 6th April. The food was perfect for such a family day out. Our girls (8 and 5) could choose their own 'lunch boxes' (either five items or seven) - possible options included simple, homemade sandwiches (no risk of lettuce!), crisps, fresh crudites, cocktail sausages, fruit, jelly, healthy drinks (milk or flavoured water). We have one fusspot and one flexible eater, so we chose a bag of seven items for sharing (mainly eaten by non-fusspot), and then also bought a child's portion of chips / chicken nuggets for the fusspot who mainly eats things that are brown (*sigh*). There was lots of choice for adults too, cold or hot: I particularly enjoyed my crayfish / lime sandwich that had been made on site that day. Staff were very helpful, and the restaurant space was light, airy and flexible. Good provision for very little ones; and an outside area (covered in places) suited those who had brought a dog along for the day. We spent just over £20 - this was a big day out for us and on other occasions we would take picnics. But, in the April drizzle, it was lovely to be able to sit comfortably and be confident that everyone was having a tasty meal. Would recommend.

Talking about the day afterwards, none of us could think of a single thing that did not go as planned or that we would have changed. The wedding breakfast was superbly organised and food absolutely gorgeous. All our guests were very complimentary about the meal and the day in general. We were very pleased with all the little touches, especially the room decoration in the Domas. Leith's and the Domas at Beaulieu is such a beautiful building and everyone really enjoyed the ambience of the place. Of course such an ambience also requires hard work from all the staff to maintain. This day will live long in our memories and we wish we could do it all over again.

We visited the Car Museum on the 28th Dec 13 and had the most unexpectedly delicious lunch. The restaurant was clean, bright, modern and welcoming with a clever lay out designed to speed up your selection by hot or cold food choice. Food and coffee prices were on average what you would pay in Costa or Starbucks. There was also a great range for both adults and children, focusing on healthy and attractive cuisine and there was even treats of small pots of jelly sweets tooWe chose sandwiches and cakes rather than hot food and were very impressed by the selection of regular and unusual fillings, the range of different bread options and choice of delicious cakes. Our sandwiches were huge, delicious and filling and coffee (lattes) was smooth and rich.I must mention the Carrot Cake - a particular favourite of my husbands - which was divine. Moist and magnificent, he was like a judge on Masterchef and declared it the best ever!! Staff were polite, helpful and went out of there way to make it a pleasant experience even though they were really busy and I would defiantly recommend to all

Our New Year's Day trip to Beaulieu was a little damp, but our grandson's excitement had to be seen to be believed! Lunch, prompt at 12 midday (they like routine!)' was really very good. A good choice of tempting, healthy and attractive food to suit both adults and little ones was a surprise, no fried rubbish in sight thank goodness! Well presented and attractively priced. Very helpful staff, unphased by demands from a two year and four year old! We will return without a doubt.

My Wife and I are from Tampa, FL and were looking for a place to have our dream wedding ceremony. Luckily a good friend of ours had visited Beaulieu England on multiple occasions and recommended we look into the Leith's at Beaulieu. Well 10 months later and countless emails with Charlotte Reynolds (the wonderful event coordinator with Leith's) my Wife and I held our wedding ceremony on the beautiful grounds of the Lord Montagu's Castle. I can't say enough about the Venue and the Staff. They provided us and our guests with an experience that none of us will ever forget.

My wife, baby son and i made a visit to the Motor Museum today. We had previously visited last christmas. On that visit we had stopped of in the Restaurant for a light snack and had a lovely soup. Today we decided to have lunch there and again we were very pleased with what we ordered. My wife had a Jacket potato which had been baked in salt and black pepper to give it a crisp outside, this was served with a huge portion of coronation chicken which she said had been made from good quality chicken. Being a veggie can sometime leave me limited for choice but today i didnt know what to go for. The soup again looked great but i went for the Pumpkin and Pine Nut Risotto which was one of the best i had tasted. My 11 month old son also loved it!! This was served with crisp salad leaves and a delightful wedge of fresh homemade bread. All the food on offer looked lovely and was presented well. The staff were polite and helpful. We got coffee's and asked for the milk seperate so we could give the baby some froth which they were more than happy to do. The coffee itself was a good and strong. We sat eating lunch watching the vintage bus drive round the estate which was great. The highchairs we good quality and clean and the baby change area was one of the best i have seen.I am looking forward to our next

Four of us visited today and had lunch and afternoon tea at Beaulieu. This was our first visit and to be honest, we could not fault the quality of the food, nor the service. My husband and I had the beer-battered hake, chips and mushy peas which was freshly cooked, piping hot and chips crispy and delicious. My son in law had steak and mushroom pie which again, was home-made, with lovely puff pastry. My daughter had a jacket potato with additional items. All the food was excellent. Later in the afternoon, we had tea and cakes which again, was excellent. The staff were most helpful. Our experience completed a lovely day out. Thank you Beaulieu!

(Had our wedding reception at the Domus – supplied by Leith’s; July 2013):We stumbled across “Leith’s at Beaulieu” whilst looking for wedding venues. Both myself and my wife live locally so we knew Beaulieu Motor Museum existed and there were some old buildings in the grounds, but didn’t ever consider it as a reception venue until we came across the Leith’s website. We booked to have a viewing of the venue and unfortunately our first impressions weren’t good; we turned up approximately 5 minutes early but ended up waiting almost 30 minutes for someone to meet us! We were about to walk out and forget it when someone came to meet us. Not the best way to treat potential clients looking to spend thousands on a once-in-a-lifetime day! We are glad we waited because the venue is absolutely stunning. I won’t go into any detail about the appearance of features of the venue as pictures and details can be found easily on the internet. I will concentrate this review on the service received from Leith’s.Our wedding was quite small – we had about 32 people including the bride and groom; the Domus was ideal as it wasn’t so big we would feel lost in it (although we have been told it can hold over 100 people, so don’t think it is tiny just because we only had 32 people). My wife and I paid for the entire wedding (except for the honeymoon), which meant we had complete control over EVERYTHING and as a result we were always in the hair of our suppliers, making sure we had all the tiniest details straight and clear with each supplier. So, we had lots of discussion and planning with the staff at Leith’s (during the course of the year we had 3 different wedding planners assigned to us!). We feel that some of things we wanted to do were blocked by Leith’s for no reason other than it was less hassle to say no than to investigate / re-organise things slightly. For example, the sales pitch given to us when we first walked round the venue was that although the grounds are open to the paying public, because the Domus isn’t the main attraction (the Motor Museum is what most people come to see); this meant there would only be a handful of people in the cloisters (the square bit of grass space at the back of the Domus). So, when my wife told the venue she wanted to organise a surprise dove release for me in the cloisters area she never thought she would be told no! The reason for the “no”? In the summer months, a predatory bird display is set up in the cloisters which can attract 150-200 people at multiple points during the day! So much for the handful of people we were told it would be! As I didn’t know about the surprise I didn’t get involved with Leith’s, although my wife did ask me to try to make Leith’s move the bird display (not only to allow the dove release, but because we didn’t want 200 people flooding our drinks and canapés reception). I had to write a strongly worded email suggesting that it was unreasonable to request clients paying thousands have to compromise for the sake of a bird display which could easily be re-located to another area. They eventually agreed to move the display, but they dictated the dove release HAD to be done at a certain time (why, if they were going to re-locate the bird display?). The time they suggested screwed the rest of the day’s timings, so we were forced to do the dove release at the church. Their get-out clause for this was that the “Beaulieu Estate” had the overall say, and if they say no, it’s rare that they will negotiate or re-consider. Whoever’s responsible, I was paying Leith’s, so they had overall responsibility.Another example of petty stubbornness (in my opinion) was when we asked if we could place some bamboo sticks with ribbons attached in amongst a magnolia tree in the cloisters (so the ribbon would appear as if it was hanging from the tree but we weren’t attaching anything to the tree). The answer to this was…. NO. The reason for saying no… Beaulieu Estate were the ones who said no, because the tree is very old, it would be in flower (which it wasn’t) and they didn’t want it to be damaged). Oh and just in case we challenged that; because it is accessible by the public, it was a health and safety issue. So laying a bamboo stick in a tree was blocked! On the day, we were shocked to find the bird display was in full swing in the cloisters (obviously since they knew we weren’t having dove release there, they thought it would be OK to leave the bird display there!) Disgusting attitude!Since the wedding we have caught up with some of our guests, who said they noticed the bar staff charged different prices for the same drinks (not sure whether the discrepancy was down to different staff charging differently, or if it was the same staff charging different prices each round). For mine and my wife’s drinks I had a tab open with them as I had given them my card details previously; I saw the charge on my card but I will never know what that was for; I wasn’t given an invoice or receipt, not even a card receipt. Finally, at the end of the evening, I noticed there was a whole bottle of wine completely un-opened on one of the tables, and as we had purchased our own wine, we were charged corkage at £10 per bottle for wine and £20 per bottle for champagne. So, I took the unopened bottle over to the bar and they said they would sort it out. Did I see a £10 refund, no. Did I see the bottle of wine, no! Maybe the £10 was taken off my bar tab, but as I didn’t get a receipt, I will never know! And I hope whoever drank the wine had a horrible hangover!Overall, the venue and location is second to none; the food was very good and everyone got what they ordered (we had a choice menu); it’s just the Leith’s staff and management of the day which could do with improvement. Don’t get me wrong, the staff are friendly and polite (we even received a bottle of champagne and an engraved cake cutting knife as a gift); I just think the company need to value their wedding clients more and treat them with the respect and importance the couples expect (after all, for the couple getting married it’s one of the most important days of their lives!). At the end of the day though, the day did “appear” well-oiled to the guests and nothing really went wrong so we can’t complain too much; but when you pay thousands and have spent more man hours planning every last detail and going through it multiple times with suppliers, you would expect them to be able to perform on the day! After this massive long review, one word to sum up our experience with Leith’s would be “disappointing”.

This was our second visit to the Brabazon Restaurant at Beaulieu Motor Museum. On both occasions we took our three year old grand-son who, with us, thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I have nothing but praise for the way this restaurant was run. The staff were very efficient, friendly and helpful. The place was spotless and tables were cleared promptly. We found the cost of the food and beverages very reasonable and in line of what we would have expected from a similar venue. The grand-son picked their ‘picnic bag’ option for his meal and had a wide selection to pick from. His meal included sandwiches, yogurt, banana chips, crisps and baby bell – he woofed down the lot. A well spent £4.25. I’ll certainly use this restaurant again on our next visit to Beaulieu.

It was our first visit to Beaulieu and we took our two sons aged 8 (for his birthday) and 6. We had lunch: very tasty turkey and cranberry baguettes, fish & chips and chicken nuggets, chips & beans - not a scrap of food left. Little pots of sweets were a nice treat afterwards. The staff were so friendly and helpful that we felt really comfortable and welcome. In conversation on the way out we mentioned that it was our son's birthday, that we were having a great day, and that we might pop back later. We did go back late in the afternoon for coffee and the lady we'd spoken to before remembered us and had arranged for a lovely special little cupcake for our son. The gentleman who made his hot chocolate was really nice to him and the chef came out to say happy birthday too. The service here was exceptional and the people so genuine. It made the day extra special and we can't wait to visit again.

I visited leith's at Beaulieu / The Brabozon restaurant on 30/11/13 with my twin boys. I must admit i was a bit apprehensive at the food prices, i decided to go for it and am really glad i did. Although the restaurant is a semi self service type the food quality is excellent, my boys had fish and chips and i decided to try a risotto for a change (pumpkin and pine nut) which was out of this world and the portion sizes where adequate. I was so impressed with the risotto that i emailed beauleiu for the recipe to which they replied the next day and will try it myself. The one other thing that impressed me is the level of service, as i had two small boys i also had two trays and before i could perform a balancing act a member of staff offered to carry a tray for me while i finished collecting drinks, and saw us to our table. The staff were very courteous and helpful and in my book this goes a long way.

Had a great meal in the Brabazon restaurant at Beaulieu Motor Museaum. Despite many visits to the museum this was the first sit down meal we have had in the Brabazon. It was busy, due to a car show on at the same time, but it was clear to see quality food on offer and staff coping admirably. You can tell that their is a lot of home made produce on offer, and the staff clear away and tidy up very efficiently. All the artwork and auto memorabilia displayed in the restaurant is excellent and worth seeing in itself, and the people next to us said the fresh coffee & scones were good too!

After a very upsetting cancellation of our wedding at another venue, my fiancé told me to come to Beaulieu and speak with the team there. The whole team were wonderful from day one. I was bridezilla (i used to work as an events manager) and wanted everything to be completely perfect but I should never have worried as the team knew exactly what they were doing! It put my party planning to shame! On the day all of our guests could not believe how outstanding the food was! People still talk about it! The service was impeccable, the room was presented exactly how i wanted it. In fact I cannot sing the teams praises enough. They made our wedding better than anything I could have ever imagined. If you want the wedding of your dreams and it set in the most magical setting, then this is the place for you.

It's a shame that people don't take the time to leave positive comments. We had a scone and coffee here on Sunday 24th November. It was very reasonably priced and of excellent value. The restaurant was clean and staff welcoming & friendly. I especially thought the provision of a water station a superb addition. i wish more food outlets followed suit. Quite often if you ask for a glass of tap water they look at you as though you've gone mad!I was especially impressed considering it is a quiet season for the attraction and having eaten as similar establishments previously thought the standard was very good. Well done-keep up the good work.

Like others, I'm not sure what this 'Leith's' is, as the restaurant/cafe at the National Motor Museum is cleared called the Brabazon. During a trip round the museum our legs started aching so we decided the only way to rest and get some food was to go into the most likely extortionately priced restaurant on-site. We went in with low expectations, knowing that as they are the only restaurant on the site they know they've got you every which way and charge stupidly high prices for rubbish. We were right. The only plus side was they had interesting fillings to sandwiches. Mine was a salami, gherkin and pesto ciabatta. Pleasant, except it was soggy from too much pesto and the salami was an alarming shade of bright pink. The so-called 'home made pink lemonade' was, in fact, grapefruit juice. Other half didn't fare much better. There are unpleasant signs on the table which basically tell you to eat and leave, although slightly more diplomatic. Still, creates an awful atmosphere which instead of inviting you in to relax and enjoy food, makes you feel as though you are purely there so they can take your money, and they only have tables because clearly you have to have SOMEWHERE to eat. Not sure if you are allowed to take a packed lunch, but I'd suggest it, or plan leaving halfway through to find a local pub or cafe and then return.

I assume this is the same as BRABAZON at the Motor museum. We have been visiting the Motor Museum at Beaulieu for years and always drop into Brabazon Restuarant for lunch, but after today, will re-think this. There has been a change in the last twelve months....and not for the better. Today we ordered what looked like a a nice offering. Turkey and Stuffing baguette. I suggest that the chef should tasting the food before dishing it out. The turkey was dry and cold (I hate to think what the roast dinner was like as it was taken from the same pile, that was being dished up for that), the stuffing was warm, but worst of all the baguette although warm, was dry, not butter or any other substance to moisten it up. It was served with a handful of ice-burg lettuce leaves....what was the point of that!!!! If you are going to serve a side salad or garnish make it edible. I would not have taken much longer to prepare a decent garnish with dressing. My wife had the Pea and mint soup which was over salted and "sloshed" into a bowl and served with stale bread. At £16.00 for the two dishes and two orange juices...not good.It made the whole experience at Beaulieu today disappointing. Come on Brabazon, sort the quality out........The National Motor Museum website states: "Our Head Chef Jane Bell and her team work with the freshest seasonal ingredients to create high quality fresh food. We are confident that you won't find homemade dishes such as Beaulieu leek and chicken pie, home baked gammon with Beaulieu parsley sauce or Beaulieu courgette and leek soup at any similar visitor attractions. Even our daily fresh vegetable side dishes are sourced from Lord Montagu's gardener, Kelvin Yapp, and include parsnips, leeks, broad beans, courgettes and potatoes".......I disagree and you should be very wary before spending money, as there is a big difference between what you hope you might get and what you actually get...

What is the point of reading a critical review of a Restaurant when you totally ignore what was written - especially when you have written it yourself!! So anyway, here we were again, annual Autojumble pilgrimage, and persuaded by my friend (against my better judgement) to give Leiths another go.I would like to make a positive comment on the quality of the food but unfortunately we never got that far!! Having stood in the queue for 15 mins to get 2 Egg and Bacon rolls, we watched in amazement as the Basil Fawlty look alike cook rushed around doing everything but cooking the Bacon!! The 6 people in front of us who had ordered full English breakfasts were looking on in amazement as their incomplete dishes sat coagulating on the Hot plate without their bacon. Eventually after 10 minutes he put a new rack of raw bacon into the oven to cook - at which point we left. Well, we didn't actually leave - we had got 2 large coffees from the machine and for the first time in my life I went to pay the cashier with 2 empty cups!! (as we had finished them waiting in the queue)I felt sorry for the young girls doing the actual serving - none of this was their fault, only some incredibly bad kitchen logistics at the busiest time of the Day.

Had another great day at the annual Beaulieu Autojumble - brilliant weather and terrific selection of stalls and 'rusty bits'. We have been coming for over 20 years (maybe longer) and have always made a point of having breakfast at the Brabazon Restaurant, even though the standard has dropped year on year, with the corresponding prices increasing in direct proportion. But this year was the worst. Ignoring the horrendously expensive breakfast, I went for the £3.90 BAP. Bacon or Sausage? I chose sausage. One large white plate. One small dry Bap, cut in half and plonked on the plate. One miserable sausage placed on the Bap. No smile, no butter, just 'Next please'. I suspect Lord Montague had much better fare when 'in Her Majestys Pleasure' years ago.A captive audience (as the Autojumble crowd is) should not be blatantly ripped off like this. Packed lunch and thermos for me next year.Shame in you!!

I felt the price was a bit pricey for families, expect to pay £5 plus for a sandwich and £2.40 for a drink. I had a hog Roast roll which was a slice of pork in a long baguette (roll was not fully cooked) with stuffing and a side of lettuce £5.65. There was a children's picnic option where you could pick up 4 items for about £5.00 seemed expensive when your choice was 1/2 sandwich, carton, packet crisps, sweets etc. My daughters meal chicken nuggets, chips and beans was the best value at £4.50. Would recommend as the food was ordinary for the price.

On the 16th June I had a wonderful event in my life. I attended the Wedding of my niece. Great apart from the food. We had Saddle of Lamb as the main course. Tough, Dry over cooked felt as if the saddle was still on the aged lamb. I complained but no one spoke to me about my food not even the manager. That might be because I requested a clean knife not one with someone else's meal still on it.Even the coffee was tepid glad I drank mine without milk or cream otherwise it would have been cold. This Restaurant is run under the name of Leith's at Beaulieu would Miss Leith be proud? I doubt it very much and in her position I would not want to put my name anywhere near this costly menu. But Miss Leith or her organisation have not replied to my complaints either.

Have not been to this place for about 6.years and it wasn't great then either. We all choose of the festive menu pre oredered. Turned up to be told one of the starters was not available, fair enough ordered something else, however when thw food started coming out what was on the menu was definitely not what was served on the plate in fact it was less but they still had the nerve to charge a supplement for things that where not there. How this place is still running is beyond me. I will not be returning for a meal!
