Amazing high tea experience for our guests 40th birthday who were hosting from Montreal. We were absolutely spoiled by Abdi who was incredibly attentive and made sure the entire experience was special. Would highly recommend the Castle, ambience, quality and in my view best hotel in Windsor

Absolutely delighted with my experience at The Castle Hotel! The service was exceptional, thanks to the attentive care from waiters Nash and Sabin. Chef Lorenzo's culinary recommendations were spot on, and every dish was a delight. Kudos to manager Ruben for ensuring everything ran smoothly, and a big thank you to the fantastic kitchen team—Binda, Vandana, Umme, and Julio—for the delicious food. Highly recommended!

We went here for a high tea with the family and had a great time, service was wonderful and the options for tea and snacks were great! Our waiter Toby was there whenever we needed a refill

Myself and family had am amazing afternoon tea experience. Chef Suraf and staff were wonderful. We enjoyed lovely in house treats such as scones, rose and rhubarb cheese cakes, cherry macaroons, chocolate choux bun among a great selection of sandwiches. The kids treat is to die for. My niece loved her chocolate bunny filled with marshmallow. I highly recommend this competitively priced experience.

Delicious afternoon tea! Very nice inside. We had a table by the window. Scones were so yummy! My husband had a nice lunch while I enjoyed the tea tray of goodies. The service was excellent!

Afternoon tea experience after visiting Windsor castle nothing can be better. After unforgettable castle tour you continue to have royalty feeling when you sitting in the restaurant. Very posh comfortable chairs in a nice place what else you can expect. Variety of teas (all information provided) in a nice tea set. Crown looks like Food trays for adults and separate for kids this is something amazing. The time we spent with my girls will be remembered for the rest of the life. The only my remark would be asking staff to come and cleared out the tables more often. We have been waiting to ask staff members few times for water or tea refill. Booking is essential.

What a lovely evening we had. We were fortunate to try out the new menu, that apparently was done couple of days ago. W came from Wales, and it is our second stay here. Place is so different now, but its been lovely refurbished. Best steak I can remember having. Perfect smokey char on the outside and cooked to perfection. We were allowed to be sitting by the fire by a young man called Kamil, even though it was late. Nothing was too much trouble. It is our favourite spot here in this part of England. Reception was lovely too.

We ended up in Windsor here having great launch with almost private dining feeling thanks to the waiter (with name "Kamil" on the bill). Except 3 ladies for a birthday desserts and drinks we were the only guests in the restaurant, had a relaxing comfy tasteful launch and excellent service. The interior was classic English style which fits our needs and the food was delicious too. I had the Seasonal soup of the day and the "Recommended by Leaf" from the A La Carte Menu and my wife the Roasted Cauliflower Steak. We left satisfied and happy to return back in the future.

Overall found the experience quite disappointing. The restaurant itself is very nice - a haven from the busy streets of Windsor, staff were attentive but not pushy and service was relatively quick. Menu had enough choice for meat and non-meat eaters. Starters (the feta tart for one and the smoked salmon for other) were both delicious and no issues at all. Main courses were not as satisfactory. The cauliflower steak had a good flavour but the cauliflower was undercooked and a bit hard. The pork belly was really no nice at all. It came as a Sunday lunch (with rock hard roast potatoes, roasted vegetables and a stone cold Yorkshire pudding) instead of how it was described on the menu (where it was described as being served with celeriac remoulade, broccoli, cracking and apple sauce). The pork itself was very dry and tough (belly pork is usually slow cooked, falls apart), the fat was hardly rendered and the skin was not crackling but tough like leather. We did raise with the waitress that it was not as described on the menu and she just said "oh, sorry" with no real interest. So overall I would have to say that it did not live up to the expectations we had after reading other reviews and I would not choose to eat here again - especially given the huge choice there is in Windsor

Had a 3 course meal with my friends and it was a great medium rare steak I had in a while. Chips were nice and freshly cooked. Not oily at all. The calamari appetiser was crispy and delicious. Shout out to our friend, Chef Lorenzo , who recommended the place. A big thanks to our waiter - Abderhaman and Mark; and chefs - Binda, Julio and Lorenzo. Would definitely come back and recommend.

We have booked our late lunch to celebrate a special occasion and had an outstanding experience. I want to express gratitude to Chef Lorenzo for recommending this restaurant. The location is good and the restaurant interior design is stunning. Good atmosphere. Had a delicious 3 course lunch. The menu is good value for money and all of the food was delicious. But what made the experience even better were the staff; Abderhaman, Mark, Genato, Binda & Julio really went above and beyond and looked after all of us. We will definitely be back!

This was the ideal place to celebrate a friend's 80th birthday lunch. From the moment we stepped into the restaurant we were wowed by the ambience created by the vibrant decor and welcoming staff. We knew that the time here was going to be fantastic. We weren't disappointed! The food from the set menu was excellent, good sized portions and very reasonably priced. Samantha and her team served us well and made sure the birthday girl felt extra special with a surprise chocolate treat, artistically presented to round off a beautiful afternoon.

Absolutely wonderful experience here today. We came for an Afternoon Tea for my sisters birthday. The staff were all friendly and helpful and the food was delicious. The finger sandwiches were a good selection, the scones light and fluffy and the mini sweets delicious. There was a big range of teas to choose from and it was all served so beautifully on a lovely crown tier cake stand.(I loved the tea pot so much and want one at home!) They made it extra special for my sister when they brought out a chocolate brownie and candle for her birthday which was unexpected and a lovely touch. I'm already showing off pictures and recommending to friends.

Went for an afternoon tea with some friends and I had the Sunday roast instead. We were all happy with the service and quality of food, the afternoon teas looked absolutely delicious! Our waiter Kamil was very friendly and professional and he really looked after us the whole time. We will definitely be back and bring more people!

I went to Leaf with my boyfriend and his parents for the festive afternoon tea as a special treat on the last day of the year. The range of food (sandwiches, scones, sweet treats) and teas provided a good choice for all tastes with multiple invites to refresh/refill the teapots from the warm and friendly staff. The service from reception to the servers was warm, welcoming and attentive, including an immediate refill of the champagne glass which was accidentally knocked over by one of our party. (Minor negative was that the table was really too small to accommodate the pretty but rather bulky cake stands). Overall we felt like we’d had the lovely treat that we hoped for, made so by the excellent service in a decadent but unpretentious setting.

We meet friends here for afternoon tea the week before Christmas. The room was nice, we were seated by a fire and the atmosphere was pleasant. The afternoon tea was decent but too many sweets, not enough savory for my taste. The champagne was decently priced but the service was a bit inattentive. The severs were watching over two rooms and it definitely felt like the other room as getting all their attention, the first time in my life I've ever had to hunt the waitress down to order another bottle of champagne! Decent but I doubt we'd return.

We were on a Virgin Experience deal to Windsor Castle with afternoon Tea. It was very good - good choice of sandwiches and sweet pastries. Lovely surroundings, and friendly staff - they had been very busy and we came within our time slot but at a later end of the service.

Poor customer service. Offered water but no water arrived. Ordered coffee and it took ages to arrive. Served savoury and sweets but only one plate and one set of cutlery. I had to get up and find a member of staff for help as no one checked in on us. Had to find someone to try to pay the bill as we were waiting for ages. Having said all this the afternoon tea was very nice, I would have had another pot of tea if anyone had bothered to ask! I got fed up trying to find a staff member

Family Xmas afternoon tea. Can't fault the service or the atmosphere. The room was beautifully decorated and staff were friendly and attentive, but, not intrusive. We had an amazing afternoon tea and there were plenty of cakes that we even took some home with us. Will definitely visit again in the new year.

We stayed at The Castle and took advantage of their Sunday night deal, so we had dinner and breakfast in Leaf. Dinner was fab, good menu selection and the food was delicious. Breakfast is buffet style with some items available for order. Really good selection from yoghurts cereals and pastries through to whatever your preference is for a full English. One of our pet peeves at breakfast is rock hard butter straight from the fridge, not at Leaf. The most delicious butter at room temperature. We return for a festive afternoon tea after checking out and it's one of the best we've ever had. Will definitely return we're in Windsor again.

I visited today with my wife with a virgin experience voucher which we received as a gift. And all I can say is WOW! From the moment we walked in the experience was amazing. From the staff to the food, thank you for making our special occasion! To top it off we got a surprise birthday plate. Please give our thanks to all the staff, especially Samantha and Ana. plus everyone else who we didn’t catch the names for. Your staff are definately a credit. We will be back and telling all our friends!

With my partner we visited Leaf Restaurant few days ago. Our main dishes - chicken schnitzel and sirlion steak were to die for. Outstanding service from Samantha and Kamil - great recommendation of wine and food, super helpful and attentive. Guys, really well done, you made our day! :) We definitely recommend this place! :)

Felt a little deflated after our afternoon tea in The Castle hotel. Should have felt more special but lack of attention to the details. Sandwiches, bread too thick and no cucumber sandwiches…it all felt a bit tasteless, a missed opportunity as the surroundings were pleasant enough. Need to make it special, an occasion…no ‘magic’

Service was great but the food was kind of bland.

Food came early and was warm. Not very tasty, don’t feel the pictures represent the product. Could only eat 2 slices of a 12” and binned the rest

An item was miyand I asked the driver for it he said it wasn't ordered also I gave him twenty pounds and he gave me change, I checked it as he was leaving and it was only one pound fifty in change, the order was a lot less than that

Pizza tasted very bad. Crust was burnt. Asked for thin crust but was very thick. Don't order for the offers. Wasted money.

The pineapple taster and smelt off really weird as I order here alot and also the cake I ordered tasted frozen in places, very dissatisfied but just eat sorted it asap.

Edible thank goodness as kids were starving... pizza ordered was thin as requested however overbaked almost as though twice baked as was so chewy and tough. Everything was charred and tasted that way too... the wings were dry the wedges burned and considering I purchased a "family feast" I really don't know who should have the only slice of cake they supplied as a dessert for the "family!" The receipt states Milado Pizza instead of the Castle Pizza I had ordered from... Such a shame as I used to frequent Castle Pizza and I'm afraid this certainly will not be the case going forward... probably the worst pizza I've had in donkeys years!

Delivery time was the only fault

Only half of the food came and I had to call them and almost veg to get it sent, bad customer service and veg pizza was covered in Oregano and almost inedible, didnrcomplain a second time because of the hassle at the beginning, but a total waste of £18

I don't normally leave negative feedback, unless it's really bad. My order was over half hour late, but that wouldn't have bothered me if the takeaway place hadnt confirmed delivery and then lied to me twice about the eta of my order. To top it off the pizza is dry and tastes like a frozen pizza that's been left in the oven for to long. Not sure if management has changed as thier packaging has changed, but I'm very disappointed......

The pizza was stale and cold by the time it arrived, the wrong ice cream was brought, and one of my ordered items was forgotton. Rude customer service over the phone.

Ordered 3 pizzas and a garlic bread at 12:38 to be delivered at 17:55, it showed up at 13:30. After telling the delivery driver it was the wrong time he simply said sorry and left. I then called the shop to request a new one at the correct time and was told the driver had read the time wrong and it was his fault (not sure how the driver is at fault the the pizza first has to be made at the wrong time). But because i has "accepted" it they couldn't do anything. After eventually greeing that they would pick up the delivered pizzas and send new ones at the correct time i waited for the delivery driver to come back amd collect them for 40 minutes (30 of which i am now missing from my work hours as this was at my office). After 40 minutes still no driver, i called again to be told only that he was coming and i should just leave them at the lobby to be collected. Before leaving them i first marked each of the cardboard boxes, so if they were sent right back to me at 17:50 i would know, and as it would happen all but the garlic bread was in the same box. In short, food quality - definetly not fresh. Resteraunt service - abismal and all but non existant. Delivery Time - not take account of at any stage.

DO NOT ORDER!!!!! BUNCH OF COWBOYS These guys are terrible! First my order was late by 45 minutes. I phoned up the shop 10 minutes after it was meant to be delivered and they told me “he just left 5 minutes ago“. Finally the guy arrives but he can’t find our block. He says he didn’t have Google maps so he just came to the street where the flats are. It took him 15 minutes to find me. I had to wait outside for him and direct him. Needless to say the pizza was cold when I got it, me and the girlfriend were hungry so we warmed it up in the oven rather than phone them up. I also requested a deep pan for my order but I got a thin crust…. These guys are a bunch of cowboys avoid at all costs. Never going to order from them again.

So the driver comes half an hour earlier doesn't call my phone as asked and kept pressing the doorbell which I told the restaurant not to do, as I got the food I did not hear a word from the delivery man's mouth, but he was able to tell someone else in the house that I didn't pick up the phone which is a lye from the drivers part...very inconvenient for the person who opened the door Aswell...the food isn't above two stars either the only plus side is that it's cheap.

Pizzas were nice, delivery far too early. They seem to have a problem with their delivery, last time it took an hour and a quarter to drive 5 minutes from their shop. Each time the delivery man says, "I'm just the driver". Sounds like it happens a lot

Chicken dippers were spicy which i didn't ask for. I ordered a 1.5L Coke and Recieved a 1.25L. Overall 5/10.

Great pizzas cooked well not greasy delivery time let it down.

Delivery time was set as up to an hour. The takeaway is 5 minutes drive away. After an hour I rang the take away and asked where my order was. The man could barely be bothered to speak to me and was very dismissive saying the driver had left ages ago. The food arrived a short time after I'd rung and needed heating in the oven and the BBQ sauce had leaked out of the box which I discovered when I took the pizzas from the driver. Such a shame delivery took a silly amount of time and the man on the phone was fairly rude as the pizzas themselves were tasty with the leaky sauce and a good amount of toppings.

Garlic Bread was literally just plain thick bread - no flavour at all. Forgot to deliver the paid for dips and drink. Pizza was fairly good otherwise.

Pizzas were cold when they arrived so had to put them in the oven. Tasted fine but considering they were mainly meat pizzas they hadn't put much pepperoni on them, which would've helped give some more flavour. Cheap and cheerful for takeaway pizza delivered.

I ordered 2 pizzas and I’m a bit disappointed with the ham and mushroom pizza especially that I order from here all the time and it’s always better than this one was. I also got fudge cake but I don’t recommend it.

IF YOU WANT A BUY ONE GET ONE FREE PIZZA PUT THAT YOU WANT THAT IN THE COMMENTS or they will not give you the second one and they will not give you a refund they’ll just be extremely rude to you and put the phone down. the one pizza I got was alright.

Will always order here for my Pizzas. I can trust them and they are nice and well greasy and the crust is magnificent. You guys do a great job. If you are in the area, order with them and see by yourself, they never fail and do great deals all the time!

Ordered chicken and mushroom lasagna, but since they did not have it they called me and offered beef lasagna instead. Food arrived hot like just from the oven. All good in general.

Late delivery. The delivery guy didn't even apologize instead made excuses. Food wasn't anything great. They forgot the dips which was ordered. When called they said we will send it again. Then half hour later they decided to give it on next order. Terrible.

the delivery driver could not find me so he phoned me he could not speak English so he took the food back to the shop and another driver brought it but he didn't listen either and took the food back ( I'm a lorry driver and I found it )

they have a rude and lazy driver .....

Order confirmation email received. 90 minutes later I call to chase up order to find they don't deliver to my postcode.

The food tasted ok. It arrived pretty late and was nowhere near hot. Honestly I doubt I would order again from here. But, it filled a hole in my belly so I can't argue with that
