Las Iguanas - Nottingham in Nottingham

We’ve had a terrible experience at this establishment. We were given 3 different bills to pay for but none of them was correct. The manager Amy was also incredibly rude, she raised her voice and was shouting at us when we queried as to why there were 3 different bills served to us. She was aggressive to a point where other tables were looking at us, what an embarrassment! Never again!

It was a fab experience! We went to the Broadway diner tour, and it was brilliant. The food came quickly and was hot, if a little bland, but nice. The drinks however took way too long to arrive, I think we may have been forgotten, but not sure. The only other thing I'd say was in the middle of a song, where everyone was singing and waving etc (this is me, Greatest Showman), a lady came to the table asking us to pay. We thought they could have waited until the end of the song? Appreciate they have to get payment asap, but we'd paid for that experience and it was interrupted. Overall though, it was amazing and the talent of the performers was so high!

Had a table booked for 4 pm on Saturday. Turned up on time and were seated after a few minutes. We sat there for 25 minutes, and no one came over to take our order. We tried to use the app but it kept freezing and adding random drinks to our order. No one even came near to our table so decided to leave and go elsewhere. We understand it's busy with all the bottomless brunch tables but if they can't serve others in good time, they shouldn't be taking so many bookings.

Bal was absolutely lovely during our visit on 11/04/24. We were visiting for my friend Lana’s leaving drinks, the service was prompt, quick and exceptional. Many thanks to the team & Bal at Las Iguanas Nottingham xxx

Went for bottomless brunch, had to wait ages for our first drink, the cocktails were awful and the food was ok but didn't get alot. Definitely not worth the money.

Booked a bottomless brunch, arrived most of the cocktails was not available so was pointless booking here was also not even informed before we came that this was the case, other wise I would of booked else where which has stock, we was told this when we sat down so it was too late to even book another brunch . the drinks they did have was 100% cans and tasted nasty. food all Came out at different times because “ my friend did not like pineapple” which is weird. Place was also absolutely freezing will not book or do brunch here again. How you can provide a brunch but have 4 drinks available out of the whole menu & not tell the bookings is crazy.

Arrived to a fairly empty restaurant. Waited a while for drinks order. Food came out at different times. I was served RAW chicken in my curry. Staff clearly not bothered but passed on apologies from chef. I refused to order anything else due to lack of confidence in the food being cooked. This led to me having no meal

Food was excellent and speed of service was great as our waiter bal was hilarious and always made sure we was okay deserved the tip we gave and the bar and kitchen staff were great to give us quality and delicious food. We had an amazing time having a Late Bottomless Brunch. We had Bal serving us and he was brilliant, funny, and swift with the plentiful drinks. The food was delicious too. We will be back for sure!! Since the above review (Three weeks have passed) I've been back and the whole experience was matched again. Different cocktails and foods were chosen this time and it was just as amazing. Thank you Olga for creating a great night for us .

We visited on a Thursday evening, arrived at 5pm and it was quiet , still only half full when we left at 7pm. There were vegetarian and vegan options, the food arrived quickly and was hot. Servers were very polite. We were a table of 6, when the bill arrived a "voluntary service charge" of £24 had been added to the bill for a group booking.

Really good filling food, well dressed side salad and fantastic cocktails on 2for1 will deffinately be coming back to try out a good few more dishes and drinks.

I have been to Las iguanas before but never took time to write a review. I visited again , this time for Christmas meal, it was bustling , noisy and cheerful. Food was great, I thought there were not many veg options on Christmas meal menu , I ordered Bahian Jackfruit curry anc to my surprise, I quite liked it, it was very busy so restrooms were not that clean but other than that it was a good experience

It was a Staff night out, paid for by the company I work for. It was chaotic, noisy and the food was average. Won't be rushing back.

Organised a work Christmas party and the process of booking and then updating / amending the booking couldn't have been more straightforward. Our table was served by Bal, who was great from the moment we arrived to the moment we left...whilst also serving several other large parties at the same time. Food was good quality and the price was reasonable. All dietary requirements taken seriously and catered for with varied choice.

Average Las Iguanas. Couldn't feel there was any alcohol in the Pina Colada.

Bal was great and took care of our group for Christmas. Food was good and prices reasonable.

I've been here a good few times, and each time has been of diminishing value. I usually go for the bottomless brunch for time with my friends and/loved ones, but I will touch on a few things of note. The menu as of this time has been streamlined, but likely in a cost saving effort so I can't fault them on it. The Cuban, which I've had before and was delicious, has been removed. This might be a seasonal choice, so always check the online menu for what fares are available. Also, for some reason the vegan food is cooked the the fryer used for dairy products???? This is mentioned in the small print on the back of the menu, but many will take them on good faith. So, vegans beware if this is a deal breaker for you. Music volume hovers between loud and being able to feel the base punching you in the gut. If you have sensory sensitivity for hearing, bring earplugs, or what have you to survive. While this is probably okay at night, I usually go midday and the volume is jarringly excessive. We did ask for the volume to be lowered, and they did so bear that in mind. The staff are friendly, so don't hesitate to ask. Soft-spoken people might struggle to be heard here. The value of the bottomless brunch has hit a record low. It used to be two hours for a starter, a main, and flowing prosecco with a £5 upgrade to bottomless cocktails. This was a good pace as you've got two hours to kill and gave time to eat, chat, eat, then chat more. It then was a single price point for a decent sized brunch plate, bottomless cocktails, and the option for the upgrade was then to include dessert. At that time the meal options were still pretty good, offering quite a nice selection. The current arrangement is a small menu of small plate mains, cocktails, and you can upgrade for £5.50 to a full sized meal from the menu with some exclusions. The brunch aspect of bottomless brunch has become a pointless feature, and it is now a focus on drinks. It's almost expected to upgrade for a meal, and the value isn't there anymore. That being said; they are more than happy to change the drinks to mocktails for individuals so you can have a great time with all your friends as a single group. We did enjoy the mocktails (I had cocktails), and the food was delicious (though the brunch sized plates are a value only with the rice bowl). All in all, if you are happy with a drinks focused two hour experience, then I can still recommend the bottomless brunch. The drinks are lovely, the staff is lovely, and they have dishes for all dietary needs. If you are more focused on the food aspect, you will struggle spending the full two hours (we only managed an hour and fifteen minutes) there.

The starters and drinks were fine but it took forever to get all of our food. When we got our mains, two of them were luke warm with anaemic chips and the third was wrong! Our server was very polite and did her best. The toilets had water and toilet roll everywhere. Hopefully others experience will be better.

Terrible. I attended this sorry establishment as part of a work Christmas celebration. The restaurant is advertising their venue as a place to have a "big celebration" and is the "perfect party venue" We had preordered, so even before we arrived the venue was aware of the quantity of each course required but after 2 hours we had only received our starters. I drew thiis to the attention of our waiter, saying that the place was not exactly busy ( it was only half full) but he disagreed. Heaven knows when we would have got our food if it was full. My Fajitas option eventually arrived, but was extremely disappointing. Rather than the moist looking dish of chicken and mixed veg (as pictured in the menu), this was a very sloppy stew-like dish, which for myself and at least one other person, contained very little chicken . The dessrts arrived too late for us to enjoy them in the restaurant, so we took them out and ate them whilst waiting for the tram. As per their advertising, Las Iguanas certainly do things differently. I would NOT recommend this restaurant.

Situated in Nottinghams city centre, i must admit it was a bit tricky to find tho This is large established with plenty of space, They do bottomless brunches and plenty of offers. On my visit the food poor unfortunately i did have to send it back as the chicken was extremely dry and chewy and sweet potato fries burnt, the second plate was exeptable but what a shame they couldn't get it right first time as the establishment was empty bar 6 people. There is no parking, but i think there is a disabled entrance, staff were excellent kind and friendly great customer service The cocktails amazing, check out online for their offers, all in all a decent visit, would i visit again definitely just a few tweeks guys and i would of given you a full house
