Visiting from Windsor and not knowing the area at all we visited for drinks and food on Friday night. Very impressed with food and drinks with the added bonus of a Guitarist/singer called Josh. Our servers were great and looked after us well, didn’t get their names sorry but both young guys did a fantastic job thanks! Will come back in July when next in Cornwall. 😊

We visited here on our way back to Devon and we are so glad we did! The food was INCREDIBLE and both staff members were polite and friendly. We were also impressed with their lunchtime deals with drinks, making our food much more affordable than we expected for proper pub food. I only wish the weather was warmer as they had a gorgeous beer garden at the back that looked incredibly inviting! Thank you

Visited this place whilst holidaying at Bodmin holiday park and ended up eating here most nights, very good menu choice, excellent food, excellent and friendly staff, would highly recommend, it’s a must visit if your in the area.

Easy to find .ie: on main road. Easy access, ample car park and dog friendly. Lovely staff, brilliant large menu. Food wonderful. Good value for your money. We always make a point of taking our visitors to this venue as we know we won't be let down!

We came to bodmin holiday Park and booked the Saturday and Sunday evening here to eat. There was so many choices in the menu we didn't know what to choose. we all had something different and ended up jealous of each other's foods. We all really enjoy our meals and we were not disappointed with the roast on the Sunday either. Very filling portions. Staff are super friendly too, definitely need to book as people were getting turned away!!

We stayed in Bodmin overnight in readiness for a family event the next day and had a meal here the night before. It’s a really friendly pub with a vibrant atmosphere great service and good value food.

My husband and I stopped at the Lanivet Inn on the way to Bodmin. We had a cheese and coleslaw sandwich, with a side of fries and scampi and chips, as well as a couple of pints. It was all very tasty, no complaints.

The pub is quite spacious inside and caters well for people with different diets (vegan, gluten free). The food was very good and service friendly. Good selection of drinks. They accommodated a large group of us at short notice which we really appreciated as the nearby Premier Inn where we were staying let us down for dnner service.

Lovely roast lunch, cosy with log burner. Will return but I did find it difficult to track down, satnav didn’t tell me it’s in pedestrian area!

Fantastic Meal, staff very helpful especially Welsh Rob. We went for a Birthday treat, they accommodated our own Birthday Cake.

Found this by accident as we don't know the area. The landlord? Was very helpful as all tables were reserved, seating is on a good table with Hou and half to eat meal!! Food excellent! Service good too, thank you guys! Would recommend.

A local pub for local people. We pooped by for lunch the food was nice, service satisfactory and the decor tired. After seeing this pub topping the review table we stopped by for lunch, the pub is more of a tired restaurant. Although it has a wood burning heater, there is no comfy seats yo retire to after your meal and chat. The feel is that of a canteen more than a delightful country pub. Don't expect great things and you won't be disappointed.

Was very disappointed with the quality and quantity of food, I had the small Sunday roast of turkey with stuffing and the person I was with had the medium turkey with stuffing, I got 1 small slice of turkey and other person got 3 small pieces, the roast potatoes were just like boiled potatoes that had spray light oil stuff on then then just browned off to make them look crunchy when in fact they were just like soft boiled potatoes, the cauliflower cheese was as hard as bullets and didn't taste nice at all, the brocoli (3 tiny bits) were like baby mushy food, the Yorkshire puds were not only hard but were flat like a pancake and the miniscule amount of stuffing was rock hard and burnt in places. We did have a pudding which was ok but the chocolate fudge cake was tad crunchy on edges. Over all was very disheartened with the cost of the meal, doubt we'll be back again sorry

This pub was very average apart from an excellent bar attendee called Welsh Rob. When we arrived Rob was excellent and took great care in making sure we got everything we needed. He was professional and brought class to this very average/below average pub. He also ensured we were happy with our meals (which was average pub food) but the service from Rob made up for this.

This pub is well worth a visit if you’re in the area! The food was excellent, and the service was very friendly. The menu is extensive, we opted for a grazing starter (3 tapas style dishes) which was great, Belly Pork and Black Bream for mains, and a Baileys cheesecake for dessert. All were very tasty! The service from everyone was perfect, especially Welsh Rob! The pub was very busy, with it being a Saturday night, and with a couple of big parties, but the wait was worth it. Definitely a recommended restaurant!

Had a lovely birthday/retirement meal at this lovely traditional pub. My wife and I had the liver. Daughter and grandsons , 7 and 3, had the Fish and chips, sausage and chips, nuggets respectively. Landlady took some photos for us. Thank you Recommend

The Panda, aka Lanivet Inn, is as adorable as the name suggests! Plentiful, quality food, straight from the kitchen, served quickly, by excellent waiting staff! Quick and easy to pay, which always makes it easier. We love it!
