Vert friendly staff and good food.

Nice pub and we had their offer of two meals for price of one which was good value.Their was not much choice with this offer so that was the downside.Will be visiting again

Lovely food, plenty of choice on the menu

The food and the atmosphere was great. But the ladies toilet had a toilet seat that didn't fit the toilet. So you would have to partially sit on the pan.😩 So I use the gents toilets.

This use to be a great establishment, but after the last meal I won't be back again. Quite possibly the worst mix grill I have ever eaten.

Proper pub. The staff are really friendly and helpful and the pub does some really good food. Between 5-7 it's buy one get one free on certain dishes which means it's even more affordable to pop out for some nice grub. The pub has a big garden too and welcomed dogs which is great. I'll definitely be going back.

An old world Inn in a village, serving good food. They have a 2 for 1 offer all week at lunchtime 12 to 2, except Sunday, when their roasts are also 2 for 1. The choices on the offer menu are varied. Gets busy there. We enjoyed our meals and revisited again a week later. Staff are pleasant and friendly.

Always good food and early bird offetd

Stopped for lunch in the beer garden which was very large and quiet. Good food, good service, good atmosphere. People seem to travel from quite far and wide to visit which is a good sign.

You may say, how can you give it 5 stars when it's closed because of covid19? Well i have been to the Lamb Inn for lunch on many occasions when it was open and the food was good and good value especially if you seek out the 2 for 1 deals - the staff are all polite, friendly, and efficient. But today I cycled there on a pleasantly sunny day and was very pleasantly surprised to see a msg on a chalk board inviting me to use their hand sanitizer and rest a while on one of their outside tables which I did. I also met what seemed like the lady owner - she was organising food deliveries for elderly people in the village. What a wonderful lady and a wonderful place to stop. Tip - if you want to eat there, then phone to book a table as it is a popular place for people to eat in.

Was in at lunchtime with my daughter , lovely pub , friendly staff and great food. Pop in if get a chance , you will not be dissapointed

11 chips. Pub has a lovely interior and beer garden, staff are friendly and the beer choice is good. However. The £16 fish and chips came with only 11 chips. There is a buy one get one free deal on at set times which may be worth checking out, but disappointed for the price.

Wide selection of ciders and some nice ales. We had a lovely lunch outside in their large beer garden. Excellent drink prices and good food deals on too. Highly recommend!

To see a lot of more upmarket restaurants make a pigs ear of a humble burger is laughable. The burger at the Lamb was perfect well sourced and well cooked ‘easy’ The chips lovely and 2 for 1 to boot If sustainable this is the future of eating out. Mediocre restaurants should bare witness. First visit and found a really friendly owner and staff there, how unusual is that nowadays?, usually lucky to get a grunt at most places!. Tried 2 for 1 menu and couldnt fault it for quality and value. Highly recommended, thanks for a experience like it used to be. Definitely going back for more.

A group of 14 of us dined on a Tuesday lunchtime, we didn't pre-order. They were pretty busy but the service was prompt and friendly. The food was good and a decent quantity. I ordered vegan lasagne which was advertised as an option, only to be told it wasn't available. I opted for the vegetarian version instead which was average but filled a hole. My friends enjoyed their food.

Very unprofessional and rude staff. My food had a large moth (dead) on it so sent it back. This was enough to put me off ordering an alternative and also put off another member of the table from finishing her meal. We were polite, understanding and very quiet about this. My meal was taken off the bill but the staff completley refused to take off the other meal which was not finished. I was told I should be grateful that I did not have to pay for my hardly touched meal I sent back. The man I dealt with was completley rude and did not act apologetic whatsoever. We were very discreet about the issue and felt at the very least we could have been offered a complimentary coffee or something similar. We would not have felt the need to leave a bad review if this were the case. We were regular customers but would never return, we will advise others to do the same.

A delightful country pub offering a great selection of beer, wine and food. We went to the Lamb Inn for a family dinner in November and we were greeted with a smile and a very satisfying menu. Well done Tracey, Brendan and the team we'll be back very soon.

We dined at 5.30 pm to allow time to attend The Actonians Drama performance. The service and attention was first-class, and the option of 2 main meals for the price of one tempted us. My lasagne was as good as I have ever tasted, and the cheesecake dessert was delightful. Portions and prices were fine, and the atmosphere warm and friendly. Excellent service at the right price; it is so popular, it was not possible to find a space in the carpark but roadside parking is OK.

The Lamb Inn is a delightful country pub nestled in the little village of Iron Acton, South Gloucestershire. It offers a great range of cask ales, largers, ciders and a cellar of very good wines. The menu selection is tremendous with some very good value BOGOF deals during the week and 241 Sunday roasts. The food is good and and hearty and worthy of a restaurant certificate. The staff always greet you with a smile and make you feel welcome. Well done to Tracy and Brendan, we'll be back very soon.

Had an amazing lunch with mum today which was topped off with my absolute favourite dessert….chocolate bread and butter pudding!! Whole meal was excellent value for money and I will definitely be coming back with the rest of the family soon!

A really homely friendly pub,made to feel very welcome. Meals very large but was able to have a starter with sides as the main meal. Prices reasonable with some items available as buy one get one free,time and day restrictions.

An excellent experience. From the friendly phonecall to book, through the cheerful welcome, the polite service, the perfectly cooked food with the BEST chips I’ve had anywhere in a VERY long time, the attentive but not intrusive waitress we had a thoroughly lovely time. The lunchtime BOGOF menu portion sizes were spot on. We all had empty plates without wanting more. I will definitely come again.

Sunday Roast was quite awful. Cold food pre carved beef. Potatoes were like leather and not at all appetizing. We have eaten at this Pub many times and always excellent food off the menu. Sorry guys this was Not acceptable.

A quaint old-fashioned English pub. Friendly staff who were pleased to serve. Good range of beers. It has a reputation for good food, through on this visit we only had a couple beers. Well worth a visit.

Warm welcome from the friendly bar staff. Seated and served quickly, despite the pub being busy. Great beers and good food. The 2 for 1 meals are a steal. We chose from the specials list and the belly pork with dauphinois potatoes was excellent. I will visit again if in the area.

We ordered 3 desserts. 2 out of the 3 desserts were disliked. The chocolate brownie tasted very odd.

A very hot day saw us arrive here without a reservation. Very busy, but made very welcome by the bar staff and quickly given a table. Ordered and served promptly. I would recommend the belly pork with dauphinois potatoes, scrumptious, from the specials list. The 2 for 1 meal deal is a great idea, and the couple next to us got a generous portion of ham, egg and chips from it. Washed down with Proper Job ale. If we are in the area again will definitely eat here. Oh and well done for having a great disabled toilet.

My family and I stopped at The Lamb today for a late lunch after my stepdaughter’s athletics event at nearly Yate. It was a lovely pub in a beautiful little village and the food was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. The owner (Carol) was so friendly. Even though we actually live about an hour and a half away I really think we will be back at some point. Thank you!

A real local pub and restaurant not part of any corporate chain. The whole bar and resturant area kept immaculately clean. Excellent Sunday roast meal- lean cuts of meats. Good real ale from Cornwall Brewery keeping it all local. 1st class table service. Now with take-away facility as well.

Just happened to be passing and called in on the off chance they had a table free, although the carpark was full we were in luck. Really friendly host and he quickly set a waitress over. Drinks arrived quickly and so did our food. We both had sirloin steak with all the trimmings. The food was delicious. The Lamb is 35 miles from were we live, but I would definitely go back and hopefully soon.

Always a good place for a drink and some nice pub food

This was our second visit to the Lamb Inn in recent years ( we’re not local). Once again we were totally amazed at the high quality of the food served and the prices. They offer a “ two for one “ menu which is very comprehensive. We had 3 fish and chips and 1 cajun chicken, with 3 apple crumbles and 1 cheesecake to follow. All four of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. It’s a cosy traditional pub, well patronised, serving good food at sensible prices by really lovely staff. Thank you we all will return.
