Visited for a drink and piece of cake on a sunny afternoon. Plenty of seating outside to enjoy the views of the lake. Delicious cake, reasonably priced and the staff were friendly. Will definitely be returning 😊

Been a couple of time now last time being on the 4th Sept to the cafe and the food and service was lovely. We tried different things to what we had on our first ever visit and both time it was lovely 😍 we sat outside both times and the weather was beautiful. We loved the mugs if tea rather than a cup and sauce too. It was tranquil watching people fishing 🎣 and you could hear a bit if gun fire but that did not spoil the tranquility or ombieonze of the surroundings. We left feeling very relaxed 😌 too and we will definitely be going back. All I would suggest is why not have breakfast on a plate rather than just in a cob.

We had been geocaching in the wolds but after a long morning refreshments were needed. Google pointed us to this wonderful cafe. The food were lovely & tea very much appreciated for us thirsty visitors.

Worth a visit just to have a coffee and snack. Comfortable chairs, nice view and good staff. Prices very reasonable, staff happy to chat and not rush you.

Nice location with fishing lakes and clay pigeon shooting on site (we didn't realise this!). Indoor small cafe serving hot and cold cobs, savory pastries and selection of cakes and drinks. Outside there are picnic tables to enjoy views over the lakes.

Really nice cafe with home cooked food attached to the fishing and shooting lodge and with nice views over the lakes! Very friendly staff and good food or just a coffee.

If you're in the Loughborough area and fancy a coffee why not visit the Lakeside café (Wide Lane, Wymeswold, Loughborough, LE12 6SE). It is a beautiful setting and the coffee is fantastic. You may be tempted to look into a return visit to take part in a clay shoot. Even if you're not a shooter or a fishing enthusiast I'm sure you'll find the clubhouse a beautiful place to enjoy inside or sitting out enjoying the views. Thank you to all concerned.

Everything I have had is delicious. I'm sure the hot chocolate helps my aim when shooting. The views are lovely and it's very comfy. It is a little expensive but it's what you expect from such a location.

2nd time here and already planning another ride to visit ♂️.It's just off the main road ( fellow cyclists best to walk down the road to the cafe) down a short path. Great looking fishing lakes.Inside it's great, plenty of tables and an amazing menu , I had a fabulous sausage roll best uve had in ages.Outside is even more tables with awesome views over the lakes. The two ladies I met working there are great and helpful

We happened to come across the Lakeside Cafe whilst looking for an all day breakfast setting in Wymeswold. How glad we were to stumble across such a beautiful and tranquil setting. As there were quite a few of us we managed to confuse the lovely lady taking our order, and as such received one less dish. We were not bothered by this at all as she couldn’t have done enough to ensure that the breakfast arrived quickly and everything was taken care of. My two little nephews absolutely loved the al fresco setting with the ducks and of course the freshly baked scones. We will definitely be visiting again when we find ourselves on Wymeswold again!

nice people, however the cups were dirty and the coffee was really cheaply made...overall I think its not worth going there as the prices are really expensive too.

We called in to Café Nineteen on spec after the previous café we visited only took cash. But what an excellent find! Extremely friendly and accommodating staff, great atmosphere, and very popular with the locals. The Café Nineteen Special Breakfast was excellent, freshly cooked using quality ingredients including tea in bone china cups! Superb! Overall, a superb eatery and one I hope to return to soon.
