Came for a Birthday meal before Theatre visit on Thursday 27th March. I’m GF so placed my order at the Bar with the Manager. I ordered a Halloumi Burger at £13.50 was not asked if I wanted Chips or Salad and it was printed on menu. When it arrived there was chips which I didn’t want. When the manager walked by I asked her why I wasn’t given an option she answered “oh just an oversight” and as she walked away she said “shall I change for side salad” not wanting to upset the party of people I just said no. The Gluten free bun was rock hard, un edible and there was two of the tiniest pieces of Halloumi I’ve ever seen for £13.50. A whole block of good quality Halloumi is only £3.00 So very very disappointing and won’t be revisiting and would not recommend your establishment to anyone. And just to say I would have said all this on the night but didn’t want to as I was with a group celebrating

We had a lovely breakfast on Thursday morning. Food was what we've come to expect from the Lounge bars, always on point. The restaurant was the usual eclectic style, that we love. Always recommend 👌🏼

The food was amazing. It's hard to tell who is staff and who isn't as the staff don't have uniform or name tags. My friends chicken was over done but as soon as we told a staff member they changed it for a fresh one. At one point tho, we couldn't find a staff member when needed so had to wait for them to b present

amazing food, delicious drinks and friendly service :) i came here with my boyfriend for a "valentine's day part 2" date and we decided we wanted to try somewhere new. we loved the games available and the drinks were amazing - my boyfriend doesn't drink and he had just as good a time as me, which i really value when we're finding somewhere new for date night ! we loved it so much we came back a couple days later for food too

Took my brother and sister in law last week when we visited Loughborough as my husband and I live in Yorkshire Was good but massive let down was the churros as it took ages

Had a great experience at Centro Lounge Loughborough. The staff were friendly, accomadating and so welcoming. Food was great and menu is quite varied compared to other restaurants. Worth a visit instead of the usual mainstream restaurant chains. Matt the manager on shift was very friendly, definitely will be visiting for the good food and friendly atmosphere again.

A group of 10 of us ate here on 20th December as a pre-Christmas get-together. Everything was spot on, the food, service, and general ambience. We all had a lovely evening and will definitely return. All in all, a great place.

I had the tuna panini melt with chips, and my nephew had fish finger and chips off the children's menu. The meal for two was under £15, but I wasn't overly impressed with the panini. The children's meal was very good, and the hummus and breadsticks with carrots is a nice touch. I've been to 43 lounges, and this one ranks outside of my Top Twenty. Pleasant service and clean throughout 👌

The atmosphere is fantastic, always feels special to go there, it has a boho art vibe and the lighting creates the perfect relaxing ambience. Fab milkshakes! Ideal for family celebrations or dinner with friends, highly rated this place

I have an allergy to tomatoes in any form so asked if they could tell me which foods I need to avoid, but as it’s not one of the 14 listered allergies, they couldn’t tell me and It was up to me if I wanted to take a chance. They were unable to check. I find this disgusting. When we did order via the QR Code and ordered starters and mains, and they were all brought together. Food was on cold plates, and food got cold very quickly. Really could do better, a disappointing evening.

Great food and fun games to add some entertainment. Service was fantastic. We were only in the area for 24hrs and we visited for dinner and breakfast!

It's ok. Foods nice and the staff are very good at their jobs and friendly etc. The decor is lovely. But the noise just ruins it for me. What could be a relaxing chilled out place is just loud. Loud music, which in turn causes everyone to talk louder and it just brings a sense of chaos in the atmosphere instead of a relaxing vibe. No good for people with sensory issues/being overwhelmed with chaotic environments, etc. If these things don't bother you, then it's definitely worth a visit 😊

Good atmosphere amazing staff and customer service but unfortunately the food is not good. We had bang bang cauliflower as a main with noodles etc it was so soo oily and had zero flavour. The tapas we ordered were also tasteless and overly oily. Just in one of them we manged to squeeze out oil onto several serviette's. Coils not eat food of this quality again .

We had a couple of tapas each for a quick impromptu lunch. The staff were very helpful in helping us get food which is gluten free and wheat free for one of our group of 3. Prompt service as usual. Good choice of food including vegan menu.

Very disappointed with my meal yesterday. I ordered the lounge breakfast. I waited quite a time for it. When it arrived it was clear that the fried egg at least had been left under heat as the yolk was dried up. The rest of the food was cold. I complained to the waitress who asked if I would like another one. I said I would expecting a fresh plate of food. Very shortly it was brought back to me and it was the same plate of food. I knew this because I had cut a piece off the sausage. The food this time was so hot I couldnt eat it. it had clearly been reheated in the microwave. However the heat hadnt reached all of the baked beans and the fried egg was inedible. I picked it up on my fork and it flapped around like an egg from a joke shop. Who reheats a fried egg in a microwave?! In fact who would attempt to reheat a fried egg that was already dried out.? A different waitress cleared away and I showed her the food. She agreed with me. I asked her to pass my complaint to the chef, and she assured me that she would. I will not be going back to that restaurant again, nor would I recommend it to anyone.

Very disappointing. I ordered the Lounge Breakfast. Waited quite a while for it. The fried egg looked dry and congealed. The mushrooms were stone cold and the sausage was luke warm. I complained to the waitress who was apologetic and asked if I would like another one. I said I would. I expected to get a fresh meal but the same meal was brought back very quickly so hot I had to wait for it to cool down! It had clearly been put in a microwave. The fried egg yolk was totally dried out and I could pick it up on the fork and it flopped around like a joke egg you would buy from a joke shop! When the waitress came to clear away I showed her the egg and told her I was not happy. She agreed with me and I asked her to show it to the chef and advise him that you do not reheat eggs that are already dried out. She confirmed she would tell the chef and apologised. This is the second bad meal I have had here. The last one was a flat bread which was too hard to eat. I would not recommend this place to anyone and I definitely wont go back there.

Old world charm, excellent food, great service

The hot cakes are delicious, the salad is delicious, and the English breakfast is also a combination that can't go wrong. It's not a matter of whether it tastes special, but it's good if it's average. The restaurant's atmosphere was good, so it was an even more enjoyable meal.

£10.30 for a glass of wine!! Very noisy environment. Food was warm and mediocre. Not going in again. Staff were friendly but overall very poor value for money.

Lovely atmosphere and tasty food

Probably the best place in Loughborough for a catch all meal or drink. Very Bohemian atmosphere with food and drink suitable for all ages and party types. Food might not blow your mind but I nor anyone I have gone with never had anything you could describe as a bad meal there. Suitable for casual coffees, dates, family meals, work gatherings, just a real catch-all place.

Not that great, I had chicken and it was dried, the coating was grainy and not very nice. Hash browns were delicious and fresh, so was the coleslaw - basically sides were the start. Wouldnt go back but believe locals love it, there was a lot of people. Service was great and the place is beautiful.

Comes across looking very middle class, and at times full of students, but it's an ok place. Food is nice, drinks decent but most of all, dog friendly.

Good food and service. Well situated in town

Found easily in Loughborough town centre, I immediately loved the atmosphere of the place. Seated quickly and found we could order food at the bar or online via QR code. The food came out quickly, was substantial and also very tasty - so much so that we went back the next morning and again, wasn't disappointed.

Work’s leaving night out for a member of staff, looked forward to spending time together and enjoying food in a relaxing atmosphere. The atmosphere was more like a noisy pub than a restaurant… the menu was unusual and when the food arrived it was cold and tasteless. Very disappointed.. nothing on the menu you wouldn’t have at home.. no wow factor.. not great service.. the whole evening was a complete let down.. i definitely won’t return or recommend.

Nice cafe lounge very relaxed and dogs aloud too. It was just a bit noisy and loud for me.

Staff were friendly and it’s good that they have such good allergy awareness however they managed to give away my daughters order to someone else and managed to only serve me half of my salad! Seriously there isn’t much to a salad! but I had to chase the chicken first and then the avocado. More attention to orders before they go out needed.

Had tea here with my daughter. Great relaxed dining with nice range of food and drinks. Also do different meal and drink deals through out the week. Good atmosphere. Friendly staff. Great tasty food.

Wonderful visit. The food choice is great. Very thorough with precautions for my nut allergy. Staff are all friendly and the service was fantastic also!! Well worth a visit.

Really tight small portions with salad and chips. Male waiter was really angry accusing our party of ordering a wrong main, to then come back and tell us it was for someone else but no apology. The music was so loud we couldn't hold a conversation without shouting. Turn the volume down.

Visited Centro Lounge today with my Husband & Granddaughter the chicken they were served was not digestible they did not enjoy it, not value for money, also the noise of glass bottles being thrown into a bin is very excessive.

Good place to hang out with friends, have a meal and chat. The food I had tasted great.

Good coffee and lovely chocolate brownie. It's a shame they let dogs inside - one couple had brought their large dog in and it wouldn't sit still. In the end it lunged for a meal on the adjacent table, and the owner spilled her coffee on herself when it pulled on the lead. Not exactly a relaxing experience for the other customers; it would have been better to not allow dogs in these more upmarket restaurants.

Went there for Thursday lunch. Staff were super friendly. You can order with a QR code or with a bar. Huge menu with loads of options for all tastes. I got the Miami Brunch with added chorizo and the Mango Tiki Shake for a drink. Both tasted really good I would recommend.

Food came quick considering it being busy however I wish it never did, steak was rubbery and gave me jaw ache and partners chicken was pink. Not impressed considering I have never had a bad experience in other “lounges”.

Great food and cocktails in this popular town centre restaurant, but the ladies toilets look like a disaster zone! Broken seats, paper and mess everywhere.

Brilliant brunch on a Sunday morning. The place was amazingly busy, and despite us having to order separately our food arrived together. Staff were really good, the place had a brilliant atmosphere, and its certainly our new go to!

Popped in on the spur of the moment on my birthday and had a fantastic meal. We had 2 burgers which were absolutely delicious and a fantastic chicken/bacon/avocado salad which was huge and tasty. Really really impressed. Prices were fine and service was quick despite the restaurant being full and busy. Nice vibe in the place with people of all ages and types. Will definitely be back.

Food was good and the guy that took our order was polite but it was all ruined by the disgusting attitude of the miserable woman in the plain black tshirt that served our food.

Visiting my daughter at Uni in Loughborough, and she recommended here. What a great choice! Had the big breakfast, and honestly don't think I have had a better one ever! Setting in really relaxed, clean and friendly. Staff are just great too. We'll done.

Good international options meant we had a family choice of Malaysian, American and Spanish with some good looking Mediterranean & Mexico menu options too. Laid back atmosphere , not the quickest service and not all meals piping hot when arrived but friendly staff and tasty food and pretty decent value made up for it

I’ve eaten at centro lounge several times in the past. As a coeliac I eat gluten free and they do a reasonable gluten free menu. However I probably won’t be eating here again, and not because of the food. I’d called a week before to ask about booking a table for 4 people. I was told that they don’t take bookings for small groups and only take bookings for larger groups. I explained why we had chosen to come to centro and was reassured that they have a high table turnover so that although they wouldn’t take a booking for us we would still be able to get a table but may have to wait a few minutes. I was happy to go with this and so were my husband and his friend and her wife. On the evening we had planned we met up and headed to Centro. It looked busy but as I approached I noticed multiple empty tables in the window area and once through the door I noticed a couple of larger tables. The larger tables had reserved signs on them but the other smaller tables did not. We were greeted by a a guy at the door and he asked us if he could help. We asked for a table for 4 and then told in a rather blunt and rude way that they had no tables available. It was just after 5pm on a Saturday and we asked if there would be anything available a bit later and said we didn’t mind waiting and just having a drink while we waited. From the response we got this did not seem to be an option the man we spoke to wanted. I tried to explain that I had called earlier in the week and that I had been reassured that if I was happy to wait a table would be available eventually but he would not accept this. I even asked about the empty tables I had seen as we approached centro. He didn’t seem interested at all. So we left and instead we went to Tarboush. Turns out this was an excellent decision as almost all of the food they do is gluten free and I have to say so much tastier and the service friendly helpful and fun. We had an amazing evening but NOT as centro lounge.

It’s our go to place for brunch, the choice the service is 100# . Last time it slipped a little , not this time , I had the eggs on muffins with smoked salmon and it was tremendous as was the service. My wife loved her brunch too , think she had the bacon sandwich but can’t quite remember. Only reason not a 5 star both dishes not warm enough . Didn’t bother me to be honest. A fantastic well run establishment. I imagine we shall be coming at least twice a month.

We had a couple of really good meals here which were great value. Only a couple of negatives, only one gluten free beer available, which is odd because the gluten free menu is very good. There is so much good GF beer out there, just having Daura Damm is not great. On the second night most of the white wine was out of stock and they had run out of ice cream!

The food was really nice but the tapas came after everyone's and was missing one of the 3 tapas, then that tapas came 5 mins later and top it all off the mac and cheese came 10 minutes after I started to eat my tapas and the bannoffee milkshake was very weak

We’ve been to centro lounge many times and never had bad service, however tonight has topped them! After a ridiculously terrible week the banter from James has been truly top notch! Fair play to him for reading the room and making the end to the week much better than the start! James you legend! #rockpaperscissors

The app ordering and service is really poor, really lets it down. One of us waited 30 mins longer for food, and one drink never came, after 20 mins tried to catch a waiter for 20 more before walking up to the bar. Otherwise good, but this is basic stuff.

After looking to find somewhere different to eat on our visit to Loughborough, we chose to try this venue. We both decided on the Lounge Burger, but soon regretted it. The burger hadn't got any seasoning in it, the bun wasn't fresh and we weren't asked if we wanted salad in the burger bun. For the price, I would've liked a few more fries (although these arrived in an old enamelled and chipped mug?). My wife wanted a glass of the house white wine, but couldn't stomach it. She did get a refund for this and we were offered a free meal on our next visit, which we politely refused. I didn't notice anything wrong with the toilet when I used it, but my wife told me that the ladies toilet was filthy (her words).

Food is always great here. And the staff is quite friendly and helpful too! We had the poached eggs with creamy hollandaise sauce on a muffin, with spinach and mushrooms and it was a great flavor. The eggs were poached nicely as well However, the star of the show was the bang bang cauliflower noodles with veggies. The flavors were amazing and melted in your mouth, noodles were cooked to a nice texture and the veggies were a perfect pairing for this dish. My compliments to the chef

A visit to Centro Lounge is never a bad choice. Don't think I've ever had a bad meal here. Food is great, staff are helpful and friendly, and it's a nice atmosphere. Disappointed my favourite drink has been taken off the menu but you win some and you lose some!

Overall very good. Nice food but stingy portion of chips. Bit noisier and more cramped than other branches of the Lounges I've been to (Pico, Bendigo and Kino) but would still go again :)
