We were very disappointed with the fact there was no drinks menu and the food menu was very limited with absolutely no seafood options apart from Fish & Chips or Tuna Pasta! There wasn't much options it was mostly Pizza, Steaks and Burgers. I had some fries and salad. We won't go there again.

Seated at 7.Not many customers in. Orderd buffalo wings, steak, burger. We asked for it all to be brought out together. Due to us not wanting to be waiting too long. Wings come out first was rock hard no source. Never had those before. Left 80% of the starter.. Waited till 7.50 still no meals . Asked where it was and was told we was waiting for you to finish starter. Mains arrived 30 seconds later. Chips was not even warm. Asked how long this had been kept waiting to be told they had just dished up. All chips was left from both meals. Burger was hot in middle but cold around the edge (tasted nice) . Steak was nice, but you could tell the food had been left for too long. Normally I would have just sent food back. However after waiting for so long and both really hungry after a long walk around Bradgate park. And not wanting to cause a scene. Eat what we could, paid and left. Very poor experience all around. Such a shame as had been looking forward to visiting.

We’ve eaten at The Bradgate in Newtown Linford twice now, and each time has been a real treat! The food is absolutely delicious — the BBQ chicken from the specials board was a standout, packed with flavour and cooked to perfection. What really sets The Bradgate apart is the variety. There’s such a wide range of options, it’s hard to choose — which is exactly why we’ll keep coming back! Friendly staff, a cozy atmosphere, and great food… what more could you want? Highly recommend if you're in the area (or even if you're not — it's worth the trip!).

I have visited Bradgate pub with my boyfriend to have a nice anniversary meal. Service was absolutely amazing, staff very polite and kind. However bad experience with food, as I have ordered steak with peppercorn sauce which had weird look and tasted like chemicals (no chance to eat it). Salad was a bit off date as well. Steak was ok however would be good to season it a little bit. I have visited Bradgate pub many times and usually had pizza or burgers, which are tasty. Not sure what's happened this time.

Booked at short notice for a late Sunday lunch. Food was superb (even the wife had no complaints - shock!). Lovely setting and great outdoor space. Only niggle I have is that whilst we were still eating (inside), a group of staff members decided to put out the rubbish - one of them dragging a wheelie bin past us. I found this unprofessional. On the whole though, I would highly recommend the Sunday lunch - it was of good quality and the portions were generous. We'll definitely return and hopefully try some of the other menu offerings.

Visited just for a drink on a sunny Saturday afternoon…we had been to the Griffin Inn at swithland and on the way home decided to stop off for another drink. The pub was of a standard that is not acceptable.. firstly the toilets were awful, dirty, obviously not been checked all day Dirty Greggs coffee cups and wet toilet roll all over the floors…no locks on 2 out of the 3 doors Went to the bar, big queue then 3 more members of staff turned up to sort it We had a wine and a beer and went to the beer garden to enjoy the sunshine It was untidy and terribly dirty in desperate need of a refurb Tables and seating all need sanding down, and cushions all over the floor making it look just so unappealing After visiting a stunningly beautiful pub just before (Griffin at swithland) you would honestly think that the only pub in Newtown Linford would be of a similar class..it was so disappointing Something needs to change here Prime location this place but maybe taking it all for granted? I’d rather travel that bit further to get the service and cleanliness and indeed amazing vibe than just assuming that the location of the Bradgate Arms would live up to the standard of the village Gutted really as it has so much potential

As soon as we walked in the staff were rude and abrupt…. Not what we were expecting for a pre booked family birthday party group. They said they had rung many times to as us to pre book - no phone calls were received. Just a very ambiguous email. We felt like they were doing us a big favour. Staff need training in customer service skills. Food ok - nothing special No tips from us I’m afraid. We will go somewhere in future where we feel valued.

We recently visited this charming pub and had a delightful experience. The ambiance is relaxed and chilled, perfect for unwinding. The food we ordered was almost perfect, with portion sizes just right—not too small and not so big that you can't finish them. I had the burger, which was delicious, although the patty could have used a bit less time on the grill to avoid such a strong charred taste. My partner had a steak, which was served medium-well, despite being requested as medium. It had only a very thin slither of pink in the middle. The wedge-style chips that came with the steak were not as enjoyable as the fries served with my burger. Despite these minor issues, the food was overall very tasty and didn’t deter us from wanting to visit again. It just seemed like the dishes were slightly overcooked. The service was friendly, welcoming, and attentive. However, there was a small downside—the service was a bit slow to clear dirty plates. We weren't in a rush, but even we felt it could have been a bit quicker. It seemed like an extra pair of hands would have been helpful, especially since it was a weeknight. That said, the staff were lovely and definitely not slacking off! Overall, we wouldn’t hesitate to visit again, either as a couple or with friends and family. We've already recommended this place to others. Just a couple of small tweaks would have made the experience perfect, but we will definitely be back in the future, which speaks volumes.

Came here as a family (group of 10) Easter weekend and was appalled by the service. We call around 4pm to see if we could push our 4.30pm table back to 5pm, staff agreed and advised they would need the table back by 6:45pm, we agreed. We got there at 4:55pm, and waited 22 minutes for anyone to take our drinks order. Took another 15 minutes for our drinks to come and we then had to stop the waitress leaving and ask her to take our food order. Food took around 30 minutes to come out, the steaks were good but weren't cooked to order, the pizza looked lovely but my seabass dish was mediocre at best, it just lacked any real flavour. After we finished eating, we asked to order desert and the manager was VERY rude stating "WELL, you can order deserts but as we told you before you need to leave the table by 6:45pm" with a really confrontational tone and a snarly look on her face. The restaurant at this point was empty, she could have nicely suggested we eat desert in the bar OR if they didn't think it would be possible to serve a table of 10 in the time allocated she should have said no to pushing back our table. Instead, she was so rude, made us feel rushed and like we weren't allowed to have desert. She agreed to let us order desert but told us "regardless if you've finished we will need the table back at 6:45pm" as if we'd have to take them with us and then stormed off. We ordered 5 deserts, all of which were not great. The rocky road brownie was awful, it was a bad rocky road on top of a very sickly brownie with a very small portion of vanilla ice cream. My sister went to offer feedback as the end of the meal to the female manager and was instead met with confrontation and more rudeness, even accusing us of being late which was a lie. There was no apology or accountability. We spent nearly £300 as a family and I am appalled by how we were treated, especially considering how expensive everything was. I have waitressed for many years, as had my sisters, so we are very sensitive to how hard the service industry is. Maybe she had a bad day... but unfortunately she ruined ours aswell. The behaviour we experienced was shocking and not something I would expect at a nice restaurant like this. I hope feedback is implemented and no one experiences the same thing.

My recent visit to The Bradgate with friends and a small dog was regrettably underwhelming. Our group, consisting of four adults and a well-behaved canine, went there with the simple hope of enjoying a drink together after a walk through Bradgate Park. Upon our request for seating, we were promptly informed that the presence of our small dog precluded us from dining in the main area, which was notably almost empty at the time. We were then told that the designated dog-friendly zone, was fully booked. The size of this indoor pet-accommodating space was surprisingly limited compared to the rest of the establishment. Further exacerbating our disappointment, we noticed a table becoming available in the dog-friendly section as a group left. However, our hopes were dashed when the staff informed us that the table was reserved – a rigid stance, particularly considering our plan was for a brief visit of merely 15 to 20 minutes for a drink. We waited for a taxi for the following 15 minutes, during which time we noted that the table that had previously become available, was still available. The complete lack of flexibility or the offer of a temporary seating arrangement until the reserved party arrived was disappointing. Moreover, the interaction with the staff lacked any semblance of warmth or hospitality. We were met with a blunt and unwelcoming attitude, with no effort made to accommodate or empathise with our situation. It was disconcerting to see a customer-focused business display such indifference, especially given the conspicuous availability of seating in the larger part of the pub. In conclusion, our experience at The Bradgate was marked by rigidity and a lack of customer service. The inability to adapt to a simple request, coupled with an unwelcoming demeanour, overshadowed what could have been an enjoyable experience at the pub.

We called in for an early evening meal on Friday , as we like the atmosphere and the wonderful friendly staff. I wish we could say the same about the food. Fish and chips is difficult to get wrong, but it was awful. The fish was tasteless and the chips were rock hard. Even the mushy peas had no flavour. Very disappointing. There were only a handful of customers in the building, so more attention could have been given to the standard of the food before just dishing it up.

Visited family in Leicestershire and booked the festive menu. We ate at lunch time and it was quiet. I would love to know a bit of the history of The Bradgate. A venue with lots of character and I suspect a story or two to tell. If I was going to make any suggestions there is a need for some cosmetic improvements to the building and interior. However, 5* to the staff. Very positive, engaging and customer focussed. Nothing too much bother. And if you want full wholesome food you will not be disappointed. All three course were plentiful, served piping hot and well presented. The crackers and mini Christmas tree with chocolates on it a nice touch. Only one out of four managed to clear their plate! Great value for money.

We came here on Sunday for dinner and it was superb, we had roast gammon and turkey and the kids menu is brilliant. They don’t do Guinness but the titanic stout is just as good. Service was very good and the location is good after a nice walk around Bradgate park. We’ll be back very soon.

I organised a family gathering here for 25 people and wanted a hot meal rather than a finger buffet. Gary and his team were more than happy to cook what we chose and supplied speakers for the area near to the back door in main restaurant for some 60’s background music) we had older relatives who probably couldn’t make the stairs for the bigger events room) It was cosy and warm and looked beautiful with some balloons. The food was spot on, having plenty of leftovers to take home! It honestly was the most wholesome lasagne and chicken curry with a mixture of sides. Everyone, young and old commented on how tasty it all was. The staff were so very kind and helpful, I really couldn’t of wished for a better venue. The price was very reasonable too. Many thanks to The Bradgate!

We had a fantastic Sunday lunch here today with family. We couldn't fault a thing, from the amazing efficient happy staff to the exceptional high end delicious food. We travelled from Caister-On-Sea Norfolk to visit family and came here for a fantastic Sunday lunch. Our only regret is that we don't live in Cropston ! 😉😁

Lovely place, but like all cafes, no sound-aborning surfaces so too noisy. Only had drinks, rate food, although it looked lovely

Excellent Sunday Lunch (maybe the roasties could have been a little less soggy ), apart from that it was another satisfying visit to the Manor. Place was very busy when we arrived, but this did not have a negative impact on the service. Matt looked after us from start to finish, always appearing at the right time to deal with our requirements. Well done to the entire team who have contributed to the Manors 20 years of excellence.
