Excellent Sunday Lunch (maybe the roasties could have been a little less soggy ), apart from that it was another satisfying visit to the Manor. Place was very busy when we arrived, but this did not have a negative impact on the service. Matt looked after us from start to finish, always appearing at the right time to deal with our requirements. Well done to the entire team who have contributed to the Manors 20 years of excellence.

Had dinner in the restaurant on a sunny Friday evening. It was incredibly busy, but the service was flawless and the food very good. The staff were all young in their 20s, but you’d think they had decades of experience in top end London restaurants the way they managed a full house of covers whilst remembering to smile and engage despite being so busy. A really enjoyable meal and look forward to next time.

35 of us were going by coach to visit Taylor’s Bell Foundry to see our church bells being refurbished and we needed somewhere for lunch on the way. I contacted the Manor who said they could accommodate us as a group despite us only having just over an hour between arriving and having to depart. The Manor was great at communicating with quick responses to any questions and acknowledgment of our preorder with any last minute changes. So we arrived at the Manor today to a very warm welcome, we were all served drinks then as requested, 35 hot meals all arrived promptly. The lunches were lovely, great quality, tasty and everyone really enjoyed it. All the staff were so lovely, big smiles, helpful and very professional. I honestly can’t fault the Manor and if I could, I’d give them 6 stars. Thank you all you really made our day.

I came with my family to a Easter Lunch yesterday 20th April & was surprised that there was not a what I call as Table d'hote menu as in a 3 course special Sunday lunch menu available, so we had the main menu only for a Sunday Lunch which included a Sunday Roast Dishes which was fine. Now, bearing in mind I was in hospitality a good few years ago now as a Chef, so I know what I'm talking about here. Because your Sunday Roast Dishes are far too large a portion for most customers of your restaurant & for me. So I had decided to have a child's portion of a Sunday roast which the portion size was just fine for me. You may want to give it a go to give the customer a choice of a large Sunday Roast or a Standard Size Sunday Roast & reduce the price accordingly on the Standard Size Sunday Roast. Not everyone wants large portion sizes !! it will also cut down on food waste too !! with foods left on the plate due to its portion size. My child size portion Chicken Roast Dish arrived after my first course of the soup of the day which was presented to me with a very flat Yorkshire pudding which incidentally I did not want.(need to ask the question at point of ordering if I would like one or not, stops food waste again ! ) So we move on to the remainder of the dish and the Chicken breast was fine & well cooked, However my roast potato's were black & overcooked together the vegetables of the same, over cooked & not crunchy vegetables which is the way they should be cooked ! So to that end I suggest you have conversations with your Chef's on how to improve on the customer experience at The Manor Quorn. Finally, the ladies that took our orders & served us our meals were very good at what they did for us during our time at the Manor in Quorn.

Ordered a very lovely bottle of pinot noir to enjoy over a shared nudga spicy pizza and Parmesan truffle chips. Whilst the staff were all very lovely, the nudga have been missed off the pizza. The manager then asked if we would like fresh chillies instead? The chips were tepid and disappointing and the salad did not resemble the radish salad ordered. Suffice to say had we have enjoyed the food we may have stayed longer but I found the whole food experience under whelming and would not go back.

After deciding not to try and fight for a car parking space near by we decided to go the Manor House. We haven’t been here for years and years for anything to eat. I nipped in 4/5 weeks before after playing football to see the amazing ales and lagers on display and this kind of pulled us towards trying the food. Granted it was Saturday lunch and very busy with families for Xmas fayre, the front of house did however accommodate us relatively quickly. We had the starter sharing platter which was nice. I had the fish and chips…. Wow!! I need to be careful here when I say and I have had time to think this one… the best chips I’ve had for a long long while! This fish was lovely soft and flakey. The wife had venison stew which again she said was really tasty. A couple of pints of Bass and a couple of glasses of Malbec were spot on. We will definitely be back.

We were looking for "fine dining" and at "The Manor House" in Quorn that is what we found. Pleasant spotless surroundings, friendly and efficient staff and best of all a chef that was capable of producing food that lived up to the promise of the description in the menu. Thank you Maria. Just lately we have found it more and more difficult to be able to say that about other restaurants we have visited. So often they retitle themselves as "gastropubs" and use flowery description of their dishes on the menu to entice you to visit, for their kitchens to seem unable to quite make that special dish. At the "Manor House" my husband tried Maria's own recipe for roasted duck breast with autumn vegetables and could not believe the flavour in the simple sounding beetroot puree and port sauce. The duck breast was cooked to perfection and the sauce perfectly complemented the meat. For my starter I had the simple sounding Tomato and Basil soup, which I make myself at home and was intrigued by that little extra something she adds to the soup to give more flavour. Finally, so many Gastropubs nowadays have a choice of sickly sweets for dessert ignoring those amongst us that would prefer a cheeseboard to finish a meal. We ordered the cheeseboard and were served with 4 different types of cheeses, a plentiful supply of biscuits, chutney, celery and grapes. Thank you "Manor House" , we will be back.

My daughter and I stayed over for one night as we attended our friends wedding. My son was best man and had an upstairs room. The weddings atmosphere was great and so was the venue. Our room Charlie's Den has been changed to a larger one to Scullery. Location was in the courtyard close to the venue. The room was lovely and spacious with a large bathroom and walk in shower. I noticed a lot of dents on the walls and the ceiling. The room was advertised with Netflix but we struggled to sign in, the remote control wouldn't let us reason unknown. The worst thing was the bed. The frame was squeaking when you just sat down and the mattress was very uncomfortable unlike an Premier Inn room. Our backs were hurting for many days 😪. This is not what I expected from a luxurious room as a restful sleep is the most important thing. We did enjoy seeing the steam train going past the venue until late.

My elderly mother and I went to the steam railway in the daytime and retired to the hotel at night after an absolutely delicious Sunday dinner in the gastro-pub and restaurant. All the time we were well attended to and made to feel really welcome by all staff. The wonderful manageress/owner is outstanding and worthy of a special thank-you. The wedding venue is all on one level and accommodates circa 150 people across the day in a really well thought through operating space. Came for the first time today with the family and had a great meal. The establishment was really busy at the time and we had to wait for our table to be ready. While we waited we were asked to go to the bar until our table was ready. The bar staff were very professional. Once seated the restaurant staff seemed very stretched. The food however was lovely albeit we had to wait considerably longer for 2 meals to arrive. I was a little shocked as to how a bottle of wine is served as a waitress placed an unopened bottle of red wine in the middle of the table without saying a word. After several minutes it was clear we had to open the bottle and serve ourselves.

Large well presented pub. 4 real ales on, bass bitter (rare treat nowadays) and some goldens/pales. Well served but tad pricey at around 4.50 a pint (I'm not familiar with the parish pubs round here, maybe that's normal, but you can get cheaper in nearby villages) food was cooked well but for the high price point (17-22 a main) the serving sizes were small. Meals also a bit lacking, I had lamb (which had no sauce) and came with 2 or 3 small potatoes in a bed of lambs lettuce and cucumber spirals (?) I found I was hungry afterwards. Pub would benefit from rebalancing their portions

On hearing that things weren't quite up to expectations, the Manor contacted us and were very concerned that we weren't happy. We had our wedding ceremony and reception at The Pavilion at the Manor House. Start to finish Sian and Alice (coordinators), their team and the venue were amazing; we could not recommend them enough! Sian and Alice were a huge help leading up to the big day; offering guidance, suggestions, answering our many questions and dealing with last minute changes. On the day, Sian literally thought of everything (better than we ever could!), there wasn't a detail which she hadn't considered. Needless to say, the day was beautiful and ran smoothly allowing us to really relax and savour every moment. A lot of our guests stayed in the rooms which Sian helped us organize; the rooms were beautiful (commented on by many) and the courtyard was perfect for friends and family to relax and meet the evening before. The bridal suite was exceptional with lots of entertaining space meaning that it was a very relaxed and fun morning getting ready with everyone. The food and service was incredible and enjoyed by all. The venue itself is so versatile with a the light and airy ceremony room, ample outdoor space for garden games, photos and drinks in the sun, the relaxed bar seating area and the amazing reception room decked in fairy lights is perfect for dancing the night away. The venue was absolutely perfect for our wedding and offers so much; could not recommend enough!

Just had a great meal at The Manor House. The only downside was we arrived early (15 minutes) and were told table would be ready for 2pm. Had drinks at the bar, others were arriving and being seated. We had been forgotten about!!! Almost 20 minutes after our booking were we seated. The Manager (we assume) did apologise, however if my other half hadn't gone to ask what was happening, not sure when we would have been seated. Fair enough it was busy, wedding in a separate area, but I felt as though we were invisible!!! The staff who served us were very good. We came up to Six Hills for a week to see friends and were recommended to come here by the owner of the cottage we were staying in. What a find! Went for Sunday lunch with a couple of friends and they were very impressed - the portions were so big even they couldn’t manage a pudding afterwards. My husband and I had the fillet steak and it was cooked to perfection - the best steak we have had in a restaurant. Also went for lunch the day before we came home to Devon and the Chicken Supreme was delicious - made all the better because the chef did a special sauce for my husband who has a severe garlic allergy. On both occasions we were met by very friendly and helpful staff which makes the experience even better, We are originally from the area and moved to Devon in 2006 but although there are good restaurants down here the quality of the food and the ambience even made me think of moving back ‘up north’. We had an absolutely amazing wedding at the Manor House in Quorn! I had a list of requirements for the venue and it was perfect for all of them! We wanted the whole day all in one place so the ceremony and reception together. We also wanted lots of space inside (incase it was cold) and outside (incase it was hot). We also wanted food that was more us so we choose the BBQ which was delicious! We also wanted local beer and a few ciders that I preferred and the venue was great at organising that for us. We also wanted a live band and there was plenty of space for them. This venue met all these requirements. They went above and beyond expectations in lots of ways! The staff were so lovely, friendly and polite, they provided outdoor games and they were so prompt with replying to my emails! Dionne and Sian were brilliant on the day and even helped the bridesmaids do a little surprise for me without me knowing anything. They did a great job of making sure the groom didn't see me too early. They also let me add all my decorations and let me hang 1000 cranes from the ceiling. The team at the pub were also lovely and friendly and we had a few meals there that were delicious too! We stayed over in the hotel rooms the night before and on the wedding and the rooms were stunning, spotless and perfect for getting ready on the wedding morning. We also needed a downstairs room for my granny with mobility issues which was perfect and they provided kids beds too for family. My wedding day was perfect thanks to the team and the amazing venue!

We had our wedding reception at The Pavilion at the Manor House and we honestly had the most amazing day! It’s an absolute stunning venue and every single member of staff we met was so friendly. Alice and Dionne from the events team were incredibly helpful throughout all the planning and Dionne on the day amazingly even constructed our wedding cake! She put food aside for us to make sure we ate and kept everything running smoothly! The bar staff and supervisor we had on the night I really couldn’t thank enough, they were all so lovely and helpful. They took care of everything and nothing was too much! Again I really can’t thank them enough! It wouldn’t have been the amazing day it was without there good vibes and positivity. Thank you! Xx

Great meal Saturday late afternoon. I just can't stop thinking about the most delicious tempura style cauliflower starter - absolutely gorgeous. Must come back before the menu changes, it was the most delicious meal and my husband enjoyed his also ( non vege options) And I have to mention the sticky toffee pudding - wow. Lovely pub and great staff .

I met up with my son who is at Loughborough Uni. We've been here a few times and I had the Butternut Squash and Chickpea curry as a main. Really fabulous. I also recommend the posh mushrooms on tost as a starter. Service was good and plenty of staff.

I went here for a quick pint today and was charged £6:50 for a pint of Titanic,I'm sorry but I can pay at least £2.00 less for that at another pub,it's very expensive,it's Quorn and Woodhouse not London, very overpriced.

Not good. The service is failing. Food takes a long time, food badly prepared, staff obviously struggling….it all comes down to poor management. It was a Sunday so naturally busy but the system obviously fails. Could be much more but they need a service management overhaul.

My husband and I had our wedding reception at the Manor House, in the Pavilion, and it was absolutely incredible! Our venue sadly fell through 5 weeks before our big day, and they helped us secure the Manor House at very short notice. The events team, Dionne and Sian in particular, were brilliant and from the moment we booked our day with them, helped us, answered all our questions, and went above and beyond to make the final weeks of our wedding planning process as smooth as possible. They are a credit to the Manor House and we cannot thank them enough for making our special day so perfect. I recommend the Manor House to anyone looking for a wedding venue in Leicestershire, it is a stunning place and the events team are a pleasure to work with. Thank you so much for everything!

Under temporary management until new owner found. They have extended opening hours, more days, and longer opening times.

Has gone downhill rapidly........ Food is cooked, then re-heated later when it is needed.... sausages had re-heated wrinkles, bacon dry and very tough. Latte was just warm, Didn't want to ask for hot water, as felt that would be too much of an issue. Staff member got order wrong, then blamed the customer and said it was there error but the whole conversation was heard and the guy serving had it wrong. Overheard them bad mouthing the customers and the managers of the GCR. Decent staff have left and you can understand why. Have tried to reach out to the GCR but they have not responded back. Shame as it did have great food etc, as been visiting since it opened
