First time eating out post COVID19 and could not have felt more safe. Everything is well organised so that you can relax and enjoy the delicious cakes, tea, coffee, etc. The local fruit cake with Wensleydale cheese was amazing. Visit with confidence that you will be well looked after.

Mill Race Teashop

19/02/2020: Delighted to find this little tea shop open in February, between Storms Ciara and Dennis, we stepped inside to a warm welcome and surprisingly large menu. Wishing we'd not had a big cooked breakfast at our B & B I chose one of the many varieties of loose tea available - a British blend of Cornish (!) and Assam tea while my husband was pleased to find a pot of decaffinated coffee available. I couldn't resist a spicy toasted teacake while we enjoyed reading about the history of the mill on a laminated sheet. The Wifi code was on the table and was fast enough for me to upload the photos I'd taken of the Falls. Prices are extremely reasonable and we wish this lovely little cafe the success it deserves.

The Heifer

15/02/2020: We’ve just called in for lunch and all I can say is FANTASTIC! The staff are lovely, food amazing and value for money is great. Defo come here if you are in the vicinity
