Heard great things about this hidden gem and it didn’t disappoint at all. Great setting. Great food. My only (petty) negatives would be food could be warmer and front of house a little less nervous. As I say, petty. All great and helpful IF spoken to first. Can’t wait to attend again next week for their themed evening.

First time here and wow! What an amazing little gem of a place this is. Food was exceptional. Everyone was very welcoming and friendly. Compliments to everyone involved in this place. Beef ragu was delicious as was the lamb and the apple crumble! Will definitely be back! Thank you 😊

Opted for three courses and enjoyed every morsel, especially the lamb which we both chose for our main course. The staff were very attentive and polite. Highly recommended!

This was our first visit but won’t be the last!! Service was great very attentive to your needs but also aware of when to leave you. What an amazing lunch we had today. Exceeded our expectations. Easily made online reservation, received prompt confirmation and polite reminders. We parked right outside entrance and were warmly welcomed. Lovely fresh and very clean environment with subtle background music. These young students were so polite and keen to please us. The food and wine was so very tasty and fresh. Beautifully presented every bite was a scrumptious mouthful. We couldn't wait to tuck in, I did remember to take photos ...once I'd started eating. The fresh warm foccacia bread was amazing 👏 We had the Korean chicken and pea/asparagus tart each to start which was really light and delicate. Then lamb and duck with spring greens and chunky chips, cooked perfectly tender and moist with lovely jus on lamb and plum ketchup on the duck. Had to have desert as it looked so good on other customers tables 👀. The white chocolate and raspberry cheesecake was very light and not too sweet. Husband loved his sticky toffee pudding with crunchy roasted hazelnuts. Excellent price for high quality food and service. I had to congratulate Nicola and her team for the great training they are providing to stars of the future 💫 We will definitely return and encourage other to. We'll done L20 team 👏

40 members of Aintree u3a enjoyed a wonderful lunch together today at L20 restaurant. We were served by first year students on their first service to members of the public. They were understandably nervous but all did a superb service, were friendly, attentive and should all be very proud of themselves. Tables were set beautifully and all meals served well. Food as usual was exceptional and thoroughly enjoyed by us all. Well done to all the students and to the supervising staff. We look forward to seeing you all again soon. Good luck to you all.👏👏👏👏

I always loving coming here because I was a student here, the menu is always amazing! I brought my dad here for lunch today we loved it. The staff and students was brilliant. Kelly and the team the food was 10/10. Thank you and can’t wait to come back

We called in for lunch and as usual the service and welcome by the students was friendly and helpful. We were given garlic and rosemary focaccia to accompany our starters of sweetcorn soup and gin and blueberry cured hake. For main courses we had Sea bass and chicken supreme. I had dessert custard tart with rhubarb sorbet. All this was washed down with a couple of glasses of wine. All the food was delicious and so tasty full of unusual flavours. L20 is a special place that serves special food we are so lucky to be able to go there. All this for £49

What an amazing way to celebrate a friend’s 18th Birthday today in L20. The Current Menu is fantastic and there is so much to choose from we were spoilt for choice on what to order. The food was fantastic and so delicious. I had Lamb fritters to start, Chicken for my main course (which just melts in your mouth) and Apple Tart for dessert. Special thanks to the Students and the staff for the excellent and outstanding Service to our table very attentive. We cant wait for our next visit to the L20 Restaurant!

Wow, what a treat. Fantastic high quality food, great ambience. Who would have thought this was on our doorstep. This place doesn’t deserve to be a well kept secret we should be shouting from the rafters about the talent of the next generation of chefs and front of house staff from our city. What an incredible restaurant and display of our local culinary talent. The food was stunning and the service was friendly and welcoming. These bright young chefs have shown how much talent we have in the North West and the city of Liverpool. Each dish was high end and every element was cooked/presented to perfection. I always run out of superlatives when describing how good L20 is. Again today everything was superb. Kimberley Ann, Katie, and Jorja were all amazing. just so professional and helpful. The food was sublime, I have no idea how they can make such wonderful dishes for the price they charge. I also have to mention Danielle, their mentor, who ensures that everything runs smoothly, she does a great job. We really enjoyed it.

Amazing food as always up there with the 5 star restaurants. Been quite a few times now and they never fail. Staff are fantastic and very attentive. Atmosphere is Relaxed yet cosy and they have a great wine selection. If you haven’t given this little gem in bootle a visit it’s a must on your list. Cannot wait for our next visit.

We went for lunch. I had not bee before but my wife had. Tv was a really ply experience. The front of house staff friendly and knowledgeable and the food and wine great. Some fully commercial restaurants should take a lesson.

L20 went high above my expectations of both service and the quality of the food. As soon as we walked out I was sending recommendations to friends and family. Will definitely be going back soon.

Everything about L20 is first class. The ambience is cool, the staff very attentive, and the food, on every time I've been there, is amazing! I tell all my friends to try it out.

Back today for a superb lunch. What a great way to finish off a very long January. The new menu is excellent and we were spoilt for choice. Fortunately, we're back here next week with other friends and so I can sample even more deliciousness.
