Krishna’s Indian Restaurant in Gosport

Valentines meal. First time after hearing great reviews, and wanted to try it out. IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT - AMAZING. Definitely coming back

Our first visit to Krishna's having heard a lot of good things about it. We duly arrived (nice big car park) and were shown to our table. The first thing that struck me was the space. Lots of Indian restaurants are a little cramped, but not here. The staff are very polite and very helpful in explaining anything on the menu you're not sure about. Just poppadoms for starters. I had lamb chaddibad for main and my wife had butter chicken. Sides of pilau rice and sag aloo were ordered along with a couple of cobra's. The portion size is excellent and the flavour is sublime. There is an extensive vegetarian section and the tandoori dishes that came out looked gorgeous. All in all a memorable experience and we are looking forward to returning in a couple of weeks with friends.

Recently voted best restaurant in Hampshire in the Evening News! I couldn't agree more. The owner Shekhar and his wife Alex have created a 'Dream location' here in Gosport. Opened in December 2022, has quickly earned an envieable top reputation. I visited throughout last year and 3 times in December. Never disappointed and New Years Eve 'Bollywood' party was tremendous. Staff and Chefs always smiling and friendly makes eating here a delight. If you want to enjoy a fine dining, super meal, I recommend you visit very soon. Customers always say they feel very special here. Try for yourself. Highest praise from all I have come herewith.

By far the best Indian meal I have ever had. Spent NYE there, great service atmosphere and live music. I have been there several times before and it is always great food but last nights food was another level.

Exceptional service with fantastic food, we arrived unannounced not realising a booking was required. They were able to seat us although they were busy.. the food was cooked to perfection as a fussy eater i tried everything but the only thing i didnt like was the spicy salad dish but thats my taste. There is a window where you can see the chefs working away.. all the servers were polite the service was quick and the prices are reasonable i will be returning

What a fabulous evening I had with my friends at Krishnas. Everything was perfect, from the friendly greeting to the very freshly cooked Indian food. We would definitely be back and recommend to all of our friends to come and try them. They are my favorite Indian restaurant.

Ohhh wow what a beautiful place this is, the decor and cleanness it is to a T, loved all the flavors this Indian restaurant has to offer, is not your usual Bangladeshi restaurant, they have proper Indian chefs cooking the dishes without overpowering with chilies, you can actually feel all those wonderful indian spices. Definitely will be returning again and again!!

What a fabulous restaurant, staff were attentive and helpful, food was really beautifully cooked and presented, lovely atmosphere in the restaurant which is well laid out and comfortable. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely meal here. The food was top quality and there was interesting choices on the menu. The ambience in the restaurant was also very nice, I would highly recommend.

I see 3 categories of Indian restaurant in the UK: 1) Excellent (eg GymKhana, Cinnamon Club etc) 2) Good (often Southern Indian with experienced chefs) 3) Greasy glupe variety made with commercial pastes, cheap oil, frozen bought-in samosas etc. Krishna's, falls into the second category and for Portsmouth/Fareham area this is the first of its kind. The Prawn starter was very good. The PUNJABI SAMOSA CHAAT was good. The Lamb Madras was very good. Nan bread good too (not stogie!) My wife's Salmon (chef's special Malabar Salmon) was a little bland and that was the only negative. The wine was decent too! All the waiters and staff were efficient, attentive and charming. A good all round experience.

Sunday evening meal and restaurant was busy good sign! Had to wait for our table to be ready so sat in the bar and had a drink, which wasn’t a problem. The meal was delicious, butter chicken was great with thick sauce the trio biryani excellent with a great amount of chicken, lamb and prawns.The service was very good, attentive, helpful but not intrusive. Decided to try Krishna’s after seeing it on Facebook so pleased we did and I can see why it has been voted No.1 had a chat with the owners after are meal they are charming. Will certainly return, many thanks.

This was my first visit to this Asian restaurant and a very pleasurable visit its was. It is in my opinion certainly one of the best asian restaurants in Hampshire and my guests and I enjoyed the food, the overall atmosphere and the excellent service.

We were greeted by the most friendly staff, nice restaurant layout with enough space for 80 to 100 covers. They have a nice bar area where you can order the best cocktails and fine wine selections. Prices are reasonable considering the quality of the food is top and high end. All the people around us were praising the owners and the staff. Fareham does need this kind of dining restaurant for special occasions. 25 to 30 per head which is not bad at all. Keep up the good work guys.

Gorgeous food & the staff will also offer varying options to the menu to meet your requirements. Even offer a takeaway if you can’t eat it all. Very welcoming & attentive staff & just a really lovely place to dine out. Thank you.

Just been along for a meal here at Krishna's. Like all locals I've held off as the old North Star pub has changed hands and styles so much these last 20 years no one can get it right. BUT you can stop waiting this time...

Outstanding. The Chicken 65 side dish was one of the most delicious things I’ve ever eaten. A small menu well executed led to a truly exceptional evening. Professional and courteous staff are a credit!
