Pub #8…krackers is what it says on the tin! Friendly staff, beer is fine. Not for the faint hearted! Wheelchair & dog friendly! Most important.

Came for food, waited a long time( everyone on the table had eat by this time and we all ordered one after the other . Was told because of the wait I could have complementary drink while i waited. Asked me what I wanted said fosters. Waited ages again so went to ask what was happening. She woman the was like no you can only have tea or coffee! When it’s Saturday night and nobody’s drinking that ! Food was crap! Asked for burger plain came with everything in! Ordered taco special which I presumed was why I was waiting and it came cold. Totally poor! Wish I would have gone to the chippy. Would not recommend

Drinks at Krackers are a superb value. It cost (I think) £3.40 for a flavoured gin and lemonade! It has a decent outdoor area to sit in, and you can bring your dogs to the outside seating too! We didn’t go inside, so I cannot comment on that, and we also didn’t eat there. However, drinks were a fab price. Highly recommend fir cheap drinks!

Krackers is a wonderful pub that do beautiful food, friendly staff and locals.. feel so welcome when you come in. We had food today and it was absolutely delicious, bar staff serve you with a smile and always some sort of entertainment on. We’re currently sat in here now. We love it. Well done to all the hard working staff at Krackers. 5 stars! X

Visited a few times over the Easter holidays as my children love Brean. What differing experiences! On the first visit a lady called Nicola was working. Cheerful, attentive and friendly. She seemed to be doing everything even sweeping the floor!Subsequent visits were disappointing. Unhelpful staff mostly kids who didn’t seem to know what they were doing or older people who could be bothered to serve. Food ok. Basic pub food at reasonable prices.

We were there for late night drinks after dinner, and honestly it was awful. They were doing karaoke, which is always questionable but the fact that they were allowing children (6,7,8 year olds) on the microphone was just interminable. It wasn’t as though it was early either. It was 10pm at night. When personally I don’t think kids should be out and about in pubs. But hearing adults sing badly is bad enough, let alone kids.

We ordered hunters chicken. Chicken dry and inedible. Chips cold. Very disappointed as it wasn't busy. Good they serve Fosters tho.

This is the best restaurant ever amazing staff quick faster, everything the best restaurant ever I definitely would recommend coming here xx

Shocking!!! Everyone raves about this place and I don’t understand why. The lady serving so was rude and obnoxious I left and went elsewhere. Krackers can stick your breakfast where the sun don’t shine!!!

Visited this bar as we were out for a drive as we have just moved to the area. The food was served piping hot, great portions and brilliant prices. Very friendly staff and the place was immaculate. We liked the fact that the bar area was separated from the food area. 2 ordering points which meant less of a queue. Had the sports channel on a large TV and the Karaoke was in another corner so if it washed your thing, it wasn’t in your face. Great seating area outside and Dog friendly. Great night out

Went here last nite lovely place been here lots of times only one problem the person that does the karioki has a awful attitude and only puts singers up who she wants to if u got a good voice then u don’t get to sing Wer others r put up to sing several times during the evening many ppl Wer complaining about her last nite it’s just a shame it’s spoiling a good pub

We went here twice over the weekend period... on the saturday there was a group of 16 of us and we had a great time.. karaoke was great and a good laugh.. we all had food and we all enjoyed... however... the ladies loo wad absolutley disgistung... every single toilet cubicle was blocked for the whole duration we were there... we complained and the girl behind the bar said oh we no its been like that a few weeks !!!!! SHOCKIN.. once again we went here again on the sunday and exactly the same again.. disgusting toilets.. every 1 was using the disabled 1 and then last going off the flush wasnt very good in that either ... its shocking and disgusting that women were using the loo in thats state... plz sort this problem out ...

Never before have I been to a place that seems to welcome anyone who has no job. Staff are rude and speak in an aggressive manner. Every order seems like a effort unless you are one of a select few locals. One plus is its very cheap but I would rather pay double and be welcome

To say I dislike this place is a understatement. If your unemployed or on a budget it right up your street. Rude staff, poor food, moody locals and having to walk past all smokers with kids by all front doors is a joke. Just section of one door were you don't have smokers. I have worked all over the UK been to both cheap and expensive places but this is cheap and of poor quality of service.

I was so impressed by the professionalism of the young staff at this establishment. Apart from the food being amazing as it always is.. Lexi, Meg and Jack were courteous, nothing was too much trouble and considering how young they all are, their mature and excellent approach was very refeshing.. By far the best breakfast in Brean. Well done to you all.......

After a few hours of slots next door we stopped here for some food before driving home. Staff were super friendly. Didn't have to wait long to order or for food to arrive and the burgers and wraps were amazing. If we are ever in the area again we would definitely go back for food x

Being out first trip to brean. We chose this place because it was dog friendly. But upon arrival we was stared at by majority of people in there which made us feel uncomfortable. My 8 year old son even said 'I don't like it in here mum' watch the step as I tripped down it as very small sign right above it warning you. Lady behind bar, was extremely rude and when I asked for what cocktails they had it seemed an effort for her to tell me and everything was yes and no smile just a sour face. The cocktail was awful I had to use my sons drink to make it taste better. Toilets were disgusting. Dread to think what the food would of been like. There was no atmosphere in there was so ever and it was run down. Views of the main road wasn't attractive either. I personally wouldn't recommend this place Date of visit: June 2022

Just had a large breakfast here. Total disappointment. Cold hash browns.,uncooked cold plack pudding not even cooked inside, under cooked mushrooms. Cold Tomatoe. Toast soft as bread not cooked. Only thing that was hot was sausages well pre cooked. £7.15 without a hot drink so...

Called here for a breakfast. All freshly cooked. Excellent value for money. Hubby had “the bulky breakfast “. Wow you need a good appetite!! Friendly helpful staff. All safety measures for coronavirus in place.

Upon first look it doesn’t look appealing however food is lovely and really inexpensive! There social distancing was best we’ve seen with one way system all adhered to. 20oz steak highly recommended by my partner. Staff were really friendly.

Came away with a group of 23 of us. These people were great at accommodating all of us in the restaurant (we took over the entire conservatory) Food was nice and price was very reasonable. Staff were very friendly and attentive.

After walking out of the sunspot cafe over the road due to horribly rude staff, this was the closest eating place for a hungry family of 5. Straight away we were made to feel welcome,the staff on the food side of things were very cheery.It was a longer wait for food than we had hoped for but the food was really really nice so the wait was soon forgot.Only thing I didnt like was the fact someone kept bringing their dog out of the bar into the beer garden to wee up a post literally 2 feet from our table, this happened 3 times even when staff were present and nothing was said. Also as we were in the garden there were groups and the language wasn't very friendly.That said we will visit again next time were in brean.

Absolutely shocking service, would not recommend for no one and the food is not the best either.Worst ever place i have came to since being down Brean. You might as well order breakfast then walk across the whole beach and come back and then maybe your breakfast will be ready but still tasting terrible. Overall, just buy your own foods from the shop and cook at your own caravan/home.

We were going to have a meal but decided against it due to the barmaid having such a miserable face. Very very unfriendly. Don't know if she was having a bad day . We just had a couple of drinks. I don't wish to spend my money in a place where you feel like your being an inconvenience.

If I could give this 0 stars - I would Visited on 29.07.20 for tea with my family. Upon arrival we were told the system for entering and exiting which was great - however we saw that hardly anyone adhered to it.The inside looked grubby but we were assured that the food was good. The menu was varied and reasonably priced.We ordered and after about 15 minutes we were told they had run out Of burgers - then another 15 minute wait 2 of the 4 meals ordered - initially without cutlery but that was then rectified - no condiments were offered or brought to the table. Another 10 minutes later 1 other meal was brought out - lamb shank with a dollop of mash and absolutely swimming in gravy - it was pouring off the side of the plate and going all over the table - again no cutlery. The 4th meal did not arrive and I requested a refund and grabbed some chips from the catering van next door - which were really tastyStaff were apologetic and said it was because they were busy - it was not that busy and that was a poor excuse I certainly would not revisit or recommend

Visited 29/07/20, initially it seemed ok with a decent selection of food at acceptable prices. However after an hour and a half wait, only 2 of our 6 ordered meals arrived and finished we gave up and asked for a refund. Many others also complained and asked for money back we even had to wait in a queue of other patrons for us to request it! Apparently a baguette and a panini are the same thing also, we ordered a couple of each and what we did receive were baguettes and we were told ‘that’s just what they call a panini in the kitchen’. If you’re prepared to order at breakfast for your lunch then I’m sure it’s worth a visit.

Been past this place loads of times and never called in, was surprised how big this pub is, lovely clean friendly atmosphere, good family pub, staff helpful, and good cheap pint aswell, will definitely be popping in next time we are in brean.

Great inexpensive bar & diner. Sunday lunch very good , good selection of draught ale & lager. Dog friendly. Hard working bar staff who don't keep you waiting even at the busiest of times

staying on unity who were not showing football we were told to pop into Krackers and yes staff even changed channels for us round of drinks few pound cheaper than other bars not very busy more locals than tourist all friendly we didn't eat but menue looked reasonable only niggle was the loudness of music no one was showing any interested in kareoke only on TV screen as commentery couln't be heard apart from that its a great bar will go back next time in Brean

Watched footy, then kids sang song and it was 3 pound a pint cheapest bar in brean, and was nxt to best arcade in the area.

I wasn't sure what to expect when I visited Krackers, having walked and drove past it many times but what I can say is that I absolutely love it here.It is a safe, clean and fun night out with incredibly well priced drinks, fantastic friendly staff (including the security) and the Karaoke set up is really good.If you want to have a great night out singing or listening to others sing (up to 2am) then this is absolutely the only place to go in Brean. Thanks Krackers and I'll see you again soon

went for lunch with the family poor service the only women run ragged was the lady serving all the food with all the hazards of the pushchairs, chairs, highchairs and wheelchairs she must be covered in bruises but still managed a smile on her face the others looked fed up with the custom food was ok would not go back again

We had arrived in brean earlier in the day and were looking for somewhere for dinner. Stumbled across this place. Couldn’t have been happier. Menu was varied and had us deliberating for a while. Kids food was great, our 2 meals where fantastic and there was loads. Access to a friendly bar for a beer as well. May well revisit before we go home. Thanks to the friendly staff for the welcome.

Want a full blown in-yer-face bar,this is where to come.We originally called in for food and drink,but at 7.30ish on a friday night,no chance,bar was teeming,very vociferous clientele,every seat taken. Just had a beer and left,can't comment on food,saying that,for sport on the tv and a reasonable drink in a happy atmosphere,this is the place to come

I’ve been coming to Brean for over 45 years and last year bought our first caravan, we have struggled to find a good steak dinner on the strip, but we have just found a great little diner attached to the K Krackers Bar. Great value for money and a proper plate full of food. To top it off Coors Light for just £2.90 a pint. Great service and a good atmosphere thanks to all the staff.Russell

We visited this place during our stay at Pontins. Very good value for money and the portions were huge! Great selection on the menu. The diner was decorated nicely and very clean. The staff were nice and friendly. Lovely outdoor seating area. Food was hot and nice and presented very well. We would certainly use this place again.

If you are looking for a Sunday breakfast be prepared to wait. Nearly an hour from order to the table, staff rude with no apologies. People ordering Sunday lunch before I’ve even had my breakfast. I wouldn’t mind but I only put 2 hours on the car park.

We visited here shortly after going to the Seagull pub. What a mistake! Our little baby is 11 weeks old and we had another couple with us with a 7 month year old baby. It’s not the place for children at all which is understandably fine considering it’s a pub. However, the place was quite rough full of people looking for trouble almost makes you feel scared to even enter! This bar reminds me of a down and out pub back home. Everyone we spoke to warned us against this pub because of the fights etc and I’m glad I didn’t stay more than 10 mins in there! They seriously need to shape this place!

A great night out awaits karaoke everynight cheap drinks great fun and the Sunday carvery is amazing, the karaoke is on every night there is one lady who does karaoke called NAT she's the best DJ in the place as she interacts alot with the customers and sings too the others just sat behind the DJ desk hiding :-(

If your looking for somewhere to have a drink in Brean/Burnham then keep walking past this place. Never have I come across bar staff rudeness like this, don't expect to be served with a smile or at any urgency. The noise, atmosphere and cliental all score less than 1. I reiterate AVOID.

Four of us & the dog Having a few pints in the bar nice atmosphere as always, diner was shut so decided to go to our favourite chippy across the road (best chippy in brean ) asked the young lady behind the bar if we could eat fish & chips outside on one of there benches while still drinking our ciders , her reply . Your more than welcome to bring them inside as the diner is closed & it’s a cold evening, it was so nice of her to do this & it encouraged us to stay for a few more pints first class customer service , well done lady !! must say all the staff behind the bar are always polite & welcoming , they all seem to have good people skills as you do get a wide verity of people in here !!! used krackers bar for years & will continue to do cheers all

One of the only venues open in march dog friendly, lady behind bar polite and helpful. Shame food was not available. Also the coke/Pepsi tasted a bit strange but at only a pound couldn't complain.

We stopped off at this bar for a drink after walking from our accomodation, it was a lively noisy bar as there was football on all tvs. Not the place for me but if you want to watch sport this is a good bar. Can imagine it is very noisy at night.

I have been here a few times due to my family having a static in brean, always been use to it being such a warm welcome place but not last night.. myself and my partner do not know our way around very well and asked for a taxi number the staff were very polite and helped us, we booked our taxi. We asked if we could wait five minutes inside the venue as it was freezing and raining and we didn’t have jackets also because it didn’t appear to actually be shut with lads still sat about drinking.. immediately we were told no we need to get out and one lad approached my partner and got extremely aggressive.. I questioned why it was such an issue and this just aggravated him more.. atleast 6 lads were sat at the bar, everyone including the staff were drinking and smoking and there was also an underage boy enjoying a pint, I called them out on this and no one had anything to say. I have never met such unwelcoming, unfriendly people especially in this sort of industry.. unable to look out for a young couple until their taxi arrives. Watch your cctv and see for yourself that your staff are allowing underage drinking and smoking and just generally treating your customers like rubbish.

Had lunch here which was very average. Curry portion tiny. Prawn baguette was soggy. Brilliant night out though with friendly staff and karaoke.

Ordered the two 10oz Rump steaks for £16.50 and we were sooooo impressed! Cooked to perfection and melted in the mouth! It is very rare to find somewhere that can cook a good steak and they have mastered it! Kids food was also extremely good and I would definitely eat there again!

Down here for the western week.so 3 of use decided to try Krackers, big mistake , my mate had the cheese burger it was hard.i had the steak and eggs the steak was like chewing leather and nearly cold.chips were a bit better but not a lot . apparently my other mate had chicken he said that was fair.sorry but will not be going there again.i just don't recommend krackers at all find somewhere else to eat .

Excellent little find. Inside looks a little weird, bit like a wannabe nightclub but don’t let that put you off. You sit in the pub section but go through to what looks like an American icecream parlour next door to order your food.

This has been our favourite place to eat this year, great variety of meals on the menu, my 2 favourites are the ‘cock n bull’ steak and chicken strips in peppercorn sauce, and the surf & turf. Went for the surf & turf last night, steak was cooked to perfection. - thank you James - 10oz steak and 8 pieces of scampi and it’s a bargain at only £9.99, couldn’t make it at home for that

Crackers cafe is the best place for great meals and excellent prices.My partner had a bulky breakfast and it came out on the biggest plate.! Cooked to perfection and served with a smile. It's the best cafe in Brean.

RIGHT THEN LISTEN UP TRAVELLERS. If you want a steak that is OUT OF THIS WORLD then this is where to come. This is my 3rd visit having the steak of course and every time so far it has been a lovely cut that is cooked to perfection. I inquired about who cooks the steak because of how good it is cooked and they have proper steak chefs. There other offerings are just as appealing so basically what I am saying is this. FOR THE COST OF THE MEAL (which is a fair price. I know this as I eat out a fair bit) THE QUALITY AND TASTE OF THE FOOD IS PHENOMENAL. I WILL NOT GO ANYWHERE ELSE. NUFF SAID

Great place to go for a drink and food they have sky sports on all the time, at nite they on do karaoke but thats ok late nite drinking till 2am drinks a very reasonable price

decided to stop here for breakfast as we where staying at pontins which was poor. Had excellant breakfast and very good value would highly recommend wish i had found this out at the beginning of the weekend not on our last day.

We always visit Krackers whenever we are in Brean. It’s always busy in there and the staff are by far the friendliest in the area.

Very good hearty food. Our family really enjoyed all our meals. Staff were polite and food was filling.

My wife and I along with our daughter went here at weekend just gone (28/29 July) and ordered the steak and burgers. The food was cooked perfect the service was great and efficient and the prices were cheap (£8.99 for 10oz rump). We send the pub when we visit and have never tried the food. Wish I had though, it would of saved me having to try the other eateries nearby which are very good but this place has the best prices for the quality of food

Went for a meal here on Thursday 26th July.Young girl took our order and we waited patiently for a long time as we could see they were busy.However we ordered nachos as a starter but the mains came out first.I asked for a refund on the nachos.The cook came out and said we didnt order them as a starter so we would not get a refund.I told her that was incorrect and we had ordered them as a starter but the order had been messed up.At this point she told me I could have a refund but made it sound like she was doing us a favour!! Rude and obnoxious springs to mind.The lasagne was ok but the steaks were over done.Maybe work on your people and cooking skills !!

After spending time in the amusements and leisure Park with my 3 daugthers we found this diner with great atmosphere and excellent food. They say restaurant food with cafe prices and can honestly say that is 100% true. It is a great place to go for food.

If you want to sing a song have a dance. At a price that is right. Open for breakfast dinner and tea. Open till 2..have not eater here. But food looks nice.

After waiting almost 45 minutes for our food the Chips here tasted as if the fat was old, soaking in grease and damn right disgusting. When returning them we were sworn at. What a joke. Would never return and will warn people to stay away.

The breakfast was just cheap meat , sausages awful , dirty glass for juice , asked for a replacement and no apology just brought a new one out and pretty much slammed it on the table and then just walked off . 11 adults went here for my 50th Birthday night. We had spent a night here 3 years ago and really enjoyed it but was very disappointed this time. We all love karaoke which is why we went but the DJ was very biased. When we first arrived my friend put them all down to sing happy birthday to me but they never got called up. My husband saw him shuffling through all the song requests and putting the people he knew first so we had the same people singing over and over, with us being able to sing the odd song now and again. I even saw the same fella singing the same song that he had 3 years ago! When my friend asked him what was happening he basically said tough. The security staff were lovely fellas though and we met some cracking people and had a laugh. The food was ok, I had a steak and onion baguette and whilst that was fine the lettuce was all brown and inedible. We won't be going there again.

Fairly quiet on the night we were there but it generally gets very busy. Karaoke every day but not too 'in your face'. outside seating makes it ideal for hot sunny days and drinks are average priced. Good fun place.

Says on the sign "restaurant meals at cafe prices" well my cheese burger meal came to over £7 (only 4.95 in wetherspoons) and it came out cold and soggy. I didn't know it came with chips and salad, the salad was shredded lettuce, cucumber and half a tomato covered in dressing. The cafe itself is dirty and has dated decor the menu is old and the fridge is bare. I would never come here again

stopped here a couple of times for a drink whilst passing, very rough and ready , cheap drinks, female staff are friendly. The male staff were quite abrupt so that didnt help the strange atmosphere you get the feeling that it could kick off at anytime, signs on the door on the way in about random drug searches dont fill you with confidence, didnt eat here but for a quick drink it was ok for us
