I'd eat this sushi all day everyday. Polite staff ! And very, very yummy sushi... Prepare for a call if I'm ever on death row

Very satisfied with the service in this outlet, the food quality was amazing especially the chicken katsu curry pots. I was also pleasantly surprised to be greeted by my favorite boxing you tuber upon entry.

Polite and Lovely staff, plenty of Fresh Japanese food to choose from. A very happy couple! We would definitely come back.

Loads of options to choose from including sushi, hot dishes etc I went for the chicken gyoza which was tasty. The hot options looked very good - sweet chilli chicken, katsu curry etc and saw them packing one up it was a huge portion so seems good value for money. Service was excellent. Would definitely return for a naughty takeaway if I was in the area.

Hardly any vegan options and we were told the tofu katsu curry was vegan. However, the chain's website lists it as "vegetarian" for a reason (eg it is not entirely plant-based), which is a shame as the curry doesn't require anything animal-derived. Needless to say, it's not suitable for vegans.

Ask for extra sauce if you like the rice more wet The pork dishes are good to and the spring rolls etc

Ordered a chicken katsu curry without any sauce on it when I said to put it on the side. Didn’t enjoy the meal at all and I’m too far to go back get sauce now.

Sushi is good but the fried food is tough, chewy and greasy; Staff are friendly although harassed in this very busy (tiny) takeaway shop; sushi is good value and freshly made – go for this; would rate the sushi 3.5.

The sweet chilli chicken is second to none - well seasoned, tasty and lovely texture, it is accompanied by sticky rice. The portions are huge! Service is always friendly as I have visited the Bromley branch also. The atmosphere is nothing special - if you want to eat in, its basic chairs and tables or you take your meal away.

I love food like this, its just got such an amazing taste to it, especially if you love curry like me! the sweet chilli chicken is one of the best ones there. the taste is just fantastic!

Simply disappointing the chicken is tough chewy and greasy,it’s been fried way too long. This will be my last visit..

We went there today as I had the best experience at Kokoro in Croydon last two weeks. We’re so disappointed. We thought Any Kokoro should have the same standard level but they are different! We had Salmon Teriyaki, Kyoza, Sushi set(Got deep fried chicken in the pack) and prawns tempura. They were SO Salty! We tried to had them but we couldn’t do it! as they were too salty, they put too much Teriyaki sauce and deep fried chicken was too hard! To be honest it was shock me that they were many people in there! Anyway, we promise we will never get back again!! Ps. We had to threw them away and couldn’t finish them all!! Wasted money!

Absolutely love Kokoro. I cant speak for the hot food as I've yet to try it properly so far, however the sushi is fantastic, great value for money, more flavorsome than the few competitors around and packed with extras i.e fresh ginger, wasabi , good quality soy sauce etc. Staff are friendly and the shop is always clean and well presented. My only complaint if I had to nitpick would be sometimes I turn up around 10am when they're supposed to be opening, but find they dont actually open the doors to customers until 11 ish. However I havent been in at that time frame recently so may not be the case anymore.

There wasn't a great selection of sushi available when I visited. I feel that the prices are incredibly high for what you get, the hot meals are better value for money. Don't think I would choose the sushi again in the future.

The sushi is fresh and the best I have found in Horsham! They also do hot dishes which are plentiful. I usually takeaway for my lunch, but you can sit in. There is limited space and be prepared to queue, although this always moves quickly. Great choice of dishes too.

Friendly staff, helpful, quick service and delicious food! Lots of options to choose from, I highly recommend the chicken gyoza (brilliant)!

This is probably a small chain to recommend. It is exactly the same as the one's in Brighton and serves up some flavoursome food! Highly recommended if you like great portions and tastes wonderful too.

Who doesn’t love this place?? The Katsu Curry always has plenty of chicken and sauce, we love the dumplings too! Great price as well!

Situated in the centre of Horsham, this is a great little spot for Japanese food, either to take away or for a quick eat-in lunch (I say ‘quick’ as space is limited and it’s always busy, which is obviously a good sign).

My wife and I used to visit Kokoro very regularly until she was diagnosed as Gluten/Wheat intollerant, and unfortunately they do not offer Gluten free at all, so we just don't visit anymore which because they are so good is VERY SAD !!!!

This is more street food than fine dining. You can take-out or eat-in a limited range of food that seems authentic and good (at least to me!). There is sushi, gyoza dumplings and similar bite-size stuff to eat cold as well as more substantial hot dishes served with noodles or rice. Great place for a quick, unfussy but enjoyable lunch.

We visit Horsham twice a year and we always look forward to having out lunch here but it usually ends up with lunch and then and even bigger takeaway. ... the food and the service is excellent and the price structure is brilliant. ..

Great friendly staff. Always smiley and helpful. Quality and value for money is fantastic! My only complaint would be, there is not enough seating. And very chilly if you are near the door, as it’s always being opened. In fact I have been in other Kokoro and they are similar. Very limited seating.

First visit today to grab some takeway for lunch at home. The katsu chicken was extremely good, as was the chicken gyoza. The salmon sushi was reasonable, although the rice was a little too hard. Will be back for sure!

First and last time I will eat here. I ordered the sweet and chilli chicken. No part of the chicken pieces resembled chicken at all. It was tough chewy with no texture of actual chicken meat. The sauce was also unpleasant, it was very hot with no actually flavour. The whole thing just tasted horribly artificial.

This is fast food but it seems fresh and good quality for a reasonable price. We all enjoy it for a quick lunch when in town.

This is a great addition to Horsham. The sushi is delicious and good sized portions, which are reasonably priced. The other dishes are nothing special.

We've visited here several times, having had numerous different meals, both hot and cold. Every time is the same quality - good, hot, tasty food. All freshly prepared. The cold dishes are also of a tasty, fresh quality. There is a good selection of cold drinks too, I highly recommend the Aloe Vera drinks!!!

i bought some sushi for my lunch from here. It was clearly marked as vegetarian gyoza. However when I got back to work and started eating it i realised it had meat in it. Disgusting. I shouldn't have taken the chance as I know the one in Brighton is really bad. Will never waste my money on this pathetic chain again.

A lovely takeaway noodle bar. Have the large katso curry with extra curry sauce. This is enough for two people

Great for when you are in a hurry but hungry as well. Service is quick as well so you are not kept waiting. It can get very busy during popular times.

I have visited many Kokoro's and everyone I have ever been to and tried any of their chicken dishes at it has been chewy, over cooked and gristly. It's frankly disgusting and I don't understand how so many people like it. I have tried the sweet and sour, the katsu and the teryaki chicken, and they all have the same chicken.

As a pescatarian there's not enough variety here, unless you want teriyaki salmon or sushi. Where are the hot prawn dishes? Or other types of fish? There's not even any hot vegetarian meal to choose from. The sushi is disappointing and overall the place is too expensive.

Great choice, superb food, hot tasty and great value for money. A lovely lunch treat whilst out shopping.

Been to this Kokoro several times now. It is rather small, but the food is good & well priced. The staff are helpful as well. You can also get free chilli sauce & chilli flakes etc, which are left on the side. You won't get this at the Crawley Kokoro, as they will try to charge you for these small extras, which are kept well behind the counter. Only get soya sauce free, but bottle is always filthy & sticky. Goto Horsham one so much better.

We love oriental food and Kokoro has all the flavours we love and it's really very good value. You can have regular or large portions - the regular is huge so be warned. You can also choose 2 different dishes in the same pot, which we really like. I had chicken cats and chilli chicken. Really fabulous and it was under £6. Drinks are inexpensive too. Staff are very nice and efficient. I just wish there were more seats as it is becoming increasingly busy because the food is so good.

Lovely selection , excellent value for money, hot tasty and very good. Quick service ideal for a lunchtime meal.

Have given this place couple of tries and don't think I will bother again. A fiver for a bowl of rice with your choice of topping. Failed to finish this food on both occasions. Food was very salty and stodgy. Not the best value around does not even include a drink.

Stopped here for a late lunch and was nice and quiet so got a table also. Shared a box of mixed sushi all of which was delicious. This is made on the premise so was nice and fresh. Perfect snack lunch.

We came here for lunch one day and were disappointed. Asked for spicy tofu but as they didn't have that we were given something else they were trialling. It wasn't nice but you do get a generous portion.
