Knowle Country House in Gravesham

From the welcoming log fire when you arrive through to the delicious roast beef Sunday lunch this was a pure delight. We had a lovely lunch here last Sunday with the family around a generous size round table. We liked the comfortable dining room and unhurried atmosphere. This was our first visit for a couple of years so it was good to get reacquainted with this very elegant restaurant.

We had our wedding reception here at it was wonderful! Although we got married at a local Church we were able to get ready at the Knowle prior to the service and then came back to the Knowle for canapés, drinks, wedding breakfast and after party. We booked the venue over a year before our wedding date and had fantastic communication throughout. During the busy wedding season the year before our wedding they let us know that they might take longer to respond as they had to prioritise those weddings but I can’t say I noticed- when I emailed or rang I always had a quick response. Everything we asked for they accommodated us e.g. my partner is Scottish so we asked for some Scottish food at the evening buffet. The grounds are immaculate and stunning, the food delicious and the staff friendly and helpful. The whole day ran smoothly from start to finish. The set up and take down was so slick- I barely needed to do anything. As for having the centre pieces and various flowers included- amazing. So much less stressful. We had the choice between lanterns, candelabras, vases of flowers. I wouldn’t have changed anything about my day :) We also had the in-house DJ who did a wonderful job and kept the dance floor busy! We had our wedding here at the knowle house on Thursday 24th august 2023. It was absolutely amazing from start to finish. There was nothing this venue wouldn’t do for us. Kelly and mark are brilliant and answered everything we asked them. Our coordinator for our day was Vicky and her team. She was brilliant. The room was so beautiful and their hard work and dedication to us was impeccable. We was able to allow our guests a full 3 course meal choice which you don’t get from other places and fresh flowers were everywhere the food was amazing everyone was satisfied beyond words. The venue itself was so beautiful all the grounds are kept to a very high standard and the grounds where we went off for photos were incredible. There was no guest not catered for. When they say you won’t go hungry they wasn’t lying! This truly was the venue of our dreams. If you’re contemplating looking at the knowle I’d 100% recommend you go becomes it’s worth so much more than you could imagine it to be. Everyone who worked on our day was so helpful and dedicated to you I actually felt like a queen. Both myself and my bride loved every second of our day and there’s nothing we would change. And girlies the getting ready room is beautiful. So much natural light and room for all your bridesmaids too. No one was in the way there was so much room to do everything you need to do. Absolutely perfect . We can’t recommend these guys more . Thankyou everyone at the knowle for all you did for me and cat xx

We had my parents 25th wedding anniversary at the Knowle tonight and what a night it was from the food to the service to Tina Turner, the food was spot on as usual, we had many laughs and dances with Tina Turner the Tribute and the staff Owen, Harrison, Eoghan we’re awesome with there table service and then Vikki and the wicked Caitlin on the bar serving us drinks and staying with us until we had finally decided to go home. Staff I mentioned need the recognition they deserve, thank you so much The Knowle for putting this together for us this evening On a very special occasion. We’ll be back for Sunday roasts and parties xx

We have just had our wedding here and it was completely wow. I cannot express enough how wonderful and beautiful this wedding venue is. It's absolutely gorgeous. We completely fell in love with it and all our guests gave us compliments throughout on just how beautiful it was. What also really sets this venue apart is just how much they do for you for a wedding. The decoration was all them and it was flawless. This really takes the pressure off and helps to just relax and enjoy the day. They know their venue so well and how to just make it unbelievably gorgeous - fairy lights and flowers throughout; it was stunning from morning till night. The venue and the excellent team there all understand completely how special and important a wedding is to a couple, and go out of their way for exceptional service. Everything was perfect, from the food, to the drinks and the booking process. Throughout the day I was kept informed of who would be my main point of contact as shifts ended, and this was just fantastic. The cliche phrase of nothing was too much trouble for them really does apply here. I really can't thank the venue enough for making our Wedding Day so perfect! Especially Kelly and Vicky were just great!

As a wedding photographer, our work depends on what we are offered as a canvas to work on. Booking a venue that has character it's definitely a great idea. I was stunned by the awesome Knowle House. Would definitely love to come back again. The food, the staff, the DJ, the decorations, absolutely spot on. 👌

Booked for my mother's 90th Birthday and didn't realise that the restaurant doesn't usually trade on the day that we wanted to book but they took the booking for 14 of us and we had a truly amazing experience and are so grateful that my mum had a fantastic time. Our service Hazel and Keighley were amazing, very attentive and made my mum feel very special and thank you so much for this. The food was superb with Rack of Lamb being the most popular but all dishes were great and to see a dessert trolley took me back to my childhood, the only disappointment was that they took the trolley away after we had all been served and there we were thinking we could enjoy them all. Thank you so much to the Management and team who served us, for taking the booking and making my mum's day...we'll be back. The Bennett family

We went to Knowle last night ( 18th February )for a friends birthday . It was a brilliant night . The staff were absolutely amazing. Nothing was too much trouble and they were all so friendly and welcoming. Congratulations to the chef too as the food was exemplary. It was all served hot and with a smile . The decor, lighting and ambiance in the room were perfect , it had been decorated beautifully. It is the second time we have been to the Knowle , last year for a wedding, and it certainly didn’t disappoint. Thank you to all for making it a perfect night . Would definitely recommend both for food and any event you may wish to celebrate.

We hired the conservatory for 30 people for a sit down meal. The food was hot and delicious service was amazing we literally cannot fault anything. It’s was the most beautiful night so thank you

We held My 80th birthday celebrations at this wonderful venue. The staff, ambiance, service and food were all exemplary. Thank you to all at the Knowle for making mine and our 30 guests experience so memorable.

My sister and her husband got married here and have had many excellent meals since, so we booked for Christmas Eve hoping to have a jolly evening. How wrong can you be, We were seated well away from other diners though there were several empty tables in between, There was absolutely no atmosphere. We had to ask for our starters to be cleared after sitting for ages with empty plates. The main course(Turkey) was poor- rock hard brussels and the roast potatoes had no colour. The pigs in blankets were good! The dessert trolley did not have as much choice as usual and most of them looked bought in. All in all it was so disappointing that we did something we have never done - left no tip. Xmas meal with no crackers. Of the substitute there were only 2 out 3. We were told they had run out. Surely it would have been better to leave none. I suggest that the manager would have been more useful looking after the diners rather than having a meal in a separate room with the owner and his family.

I’m writing this without having visited because after accepting a booking for a family 90th birthday lunch the restaurant telephoned to cancel one month later stating that they had overlooked a wedding booking and could no longer accommodate us but would be in touch to arrange an alternative date. Would they like my mother in law to change her date of birth? It strikes me the wedding was a late booking but more lucrative than a family lunch. Call me a cynic but I won’t be trusting them or going to eat there

Attended a family wedding here, and the whole day was flawless. The way the venue is laid out is perfect to allow transition from marriage, to meal, to partying. Each part of the building and gardens is stunning. The quality of the food was incredible for both the sit down meal and buffet in the evening. The staff are absolutely professional, and actually come across as enjoying working at Knowle House. In all, the best wedding you could imagine being at!

Spent three splendid experiences here, one family lunch, one wedding anniversary and one birthday. Staff are attentive and very, very personable. Comfortable bar and dining area is quite inspiring. Not a vast menu but, from our experience, enough variety to be easy to make choices. At least you know the menu is tried and tested as it doesn't change often, big plus point. Made to feel really comfortable on all three occasions. Will definitely return and would recommend this venue. Thank you Knowle Country House Staff.

We got married here at the end of October 2022 and it was an incredible day. All of our guests were really impressed with the venue (which is beautiful) and the staff couldn’t do enough for us which made the day run so smoothly. Their attention to detail is second to none and honestly we couldn’t of asked for a better day. Would totally recommend the venue and we wish we could do it all again!

Four of us visited the Knowle for dinner on Friday evening. It’s a beautiful setting, the food was delicious, service good and staff very friendly. We explained that we were looking for a restaurant with private dining for our family gathering of 16 in December. We had already seen the garden room from the bar and thought that would be ideal. We were also shown another room, which was even better suited to our needs as you can access the hallway without going through the bar. It was perfect. The waitress explained that they don’t take deposits but she put our details in the diary and said someone would contact us to confirm and send us the menus. We left absolutely delighted. The next day we had a call from The Knowle. The owner wouldn’t let them book that room for a party smaller than 24 people. We were welcome to have a corner of the restaurant but not a private room, despite their website claiming “Our Garden Room, leading onto our Victorian conservatory (which is an extended lounge area for your guests to enjoy) will accommodate a maximum of 40 guests and a minimum of 15 people for a small intimate party”. Apparently it might be possible to let us have it nearer the time if it hadn’t been booked but not now. Obviously when people are travelling a long way they need to book time off, arrange accommodation etc so we need a definite booking, especially at that time of year. I can’t tell you how disappointed we are. We felt that we had been vetted and that our custom was no longer welcome. It’s a lovely place, well represented by the staff but sadly let down by the owner’s attitude. I realise he has a business to run but surely a confirmed booking of 16 covers is better than the hope of 24? Not to mention the potential repeat business. Sadly we won’t be returning.

We got married in June 2019. From the start the staff could not be more helpful. Kelly and Kerry were fantastic, nothing was too much trouble. The grounds were incredibly beautiful and all our guests commented on this and the wonderful food! Everyone loved the venue, staff and atmosphere it brings.It’s clear they have done hundreds if not thousands of weddings and everything seems so effortless and runs so smoothly.We would recommend this venue to anyone, it was an absolutely amazing day and faultless.

Ein wunderbares Anwesen, sehr interessante Räume und Ausstellung. Ausgezeichnete Gärten und Anlagen, tolle Räume und auch nicht schlecht für einen kleinen Snack zwischendurch. Gute Stews , sowie gute Kuchen. Sehr relaxed alles in allem. Von der Londonbridge aus in ca. 30 Minuten mit dem Zug zum Bahnhof, von da aus nochmal 30 Minuten Fussweg zum Anwesen. Aber ist es wert. Sehr schöne Landschaft, viele freilaufende Hirschen, die fast nicht mehr scheu sind. Empfehlenswerter Ausflug,wer mal der Stadtluft entfliehen will.

My husband booked this for my surprise 50th birthday meal and we were very happy. Location is first rate and we were shown into the garden room for our family meal. It was a beautiful room which made the whole experience very pleasing. The food was of good quality although we did have a couple of people say the food could have been hotter but all in all we were very pleased. Would happily dine again and recommend for that extra special experience.

Wonderful day. The house and gardens made the perfect venue for a wedding. The garden was full of colour and had obviously been well tended by knowledgable gardeners.

We booked dinner for my, Mother in Laws 75th birthday. Our first ever visit and the place is just beautiful. Gorgeous garden area, conservatory and restaurant. The staff were so courteous and welcoming and all 4 of our meals were excellent. Also, great value for such a venue and the quality of the service and food.

After having an amazing wedding at the Knowle back in August 2018 I took my family back for Sunday lunch. Again the food, staff and overall setting were all amazing. We will be visiting again and again.

Fourteen of us had a celebration Sunday Lunch. All food was pre ordered and served as requested.

My friends and I went here for Sunday lunch, for my birthday. The waitresses and chef were really kind and helpful and catered for my vegan diet. I had a tomato and basil soup for starter, followed by a mediterranean tart with roast potatoes, vegetables and a tomato coulis for main. Both courses were really delicious. I had strawberries for dessert. My friends also thoroughly enjoyed their meals. I really like this restaurant and will be returning again soon!

Overall a relaxed and friendly environment. Most staff very friendly and helpful. Nice house and gardens. Food good but quite pricey for what you get. Nevertheless a special occasion is worth a visit. Decor in main dinning room clearly dine for weddings so a little bland by being very white. A little colour would be good. Overall very enjoyable and good quality

My 60th Birthday celebration took place in the Garden room at the Knowle country House on Sunday 13th Jan 2019.

I visited with my husband for dinner end November and two friends in December. We had a pleasant time on both occasions. The menu for dinner was quite limited and already Christmas music was playing on a loop all night. The food was good and the service very helpful and polite but it was a bit like being in a time warp. Although the dining room had been recently decorated and newer chairs had arrived, everything else was the same as the first time we visited over 30 years ago. I can see why this is a lovey place for weddings as the grounds are beautiful and the dining room would be lovely for such an occasion.

Just returned from another amazing Christmas lunch. My family go every year for pre Christmas lunch and have never had a bad meal or service yet. The setting is wonderful, gets you in the Christmas spirit, Staff are always excellent and friendly. Food is good quality. The sweet trolley is a work of art, all freshly made. Tables are nicely laid out and not squashed in. You have the table for the whole service and never rushed out. Thanks Kerry and team.

Yet again The Knowle was great. The food is fantastic, location lovely, service and atmosphere is wonderful so there is no reason to go anywhere else!

Just like to say a huge Thanks to all staff at Knowle Country house, we were there at a wedding recently and amazing to find not only a stunning location but a relaxed venue.The Sun shone also, so having ceremony and photos outside was fantastic, but most of all The food served was impeccable, being in the hospitality industry ourselves,we are generally quite critical but it was a great meal from starters to the dessert trolley with no negative comments.staff were very professional at table service.

Easy to find, beautiful country Manor House, superb for weddings, dance hall a bit small, bar a bit small, buffet laid on was superb, clean and tidy, nice garden area if weather is good. Staff very pleasant and polite. Would recommend this place.

1st September for our friends wedding. An amazing venue for a truly beautiful wedding. Wow what a stunning venue, the best I have ever been to. There was plenty of seating both inside and outside. A lovely little wooden house in the garden with lots of seating. The house itself was decorated with beautiful flowers all around the venue and up the staircase it was stunning. The food was absolutely delicious I had prawn cocktail and then beef and the desert trolley had so many deserts it was hard to choose I went with the pavlova and my husband had profiteroles. The only criticism is that dance area wasn’t huge and the bar could have been a bit bigger or maybe a bar could be set up in the gardens which were beautiful.

We went here for our nieces wedding on 2nd sept, the setting is beautiful with the outdoor wedding gazebo and gardens, making for lovely photos, they had flowers all around the staircase and the disco area was looking lovely as well, the food was very tasty, I had chicken and husband had beef both cooked lovely and tasty, roast potatoes were very nice as well, staff very cheerful and happy to help, the outdoor hut has a really nice feel to it, it was a lovely day, lots of areas to sit and enjoy the day

Thankyou to the Knowle staff for making our 50th wedding anniversary so special. The whole place looked magical. The food was excellent and plentiful, our guests were unable to eat it all. The sweet trolley is always a bonus these days. The gardens were beautiful ,a lovely spot to sit and have coffee. Special Thankyou to Diane and the staff on the day. The only problem we had was getting our guests to go home !!!

Me and my partner brought our parents to the Knowle for dinner and it was a fantastic evening. Private dinning in the study, amazing food, great service and all in a house full of character and charm.

Sunday lunch is excellent nice surroundings and friendly staff .Dessert trolley is especially good .The restaurant is pleasant , very good atmosphere.

We have had many beautiful meals in the restaurant here. Very pleasant staff and very large portions. Sunday lunch is a must. Evening meals very tasty. Nobody is rushed, you can take your time.

We celebrated my wife’s 40th Birthday at the restaurant last week and it was as good as always! Service attentive and friendly and the food delicious and plentiful. We would happily recommend this great restaurant!

We enjoyed an evening at a beautiful wedding reception here at Christmas with family and friends.

This must be the tenth or so work Christmas meal we have had at The Knowle. As always it never fails to deliver. This year we were seated in the conservatory which was very nice as we were a large party of roughly 16 or so.

My wife and I held our Wedding Meal here a couple of days after getting married and it turned out to be the perfect venue. We held it on a Sunday so the menu was a simple roast, with all the meat choices you would need and some lovely desserts. We had 20 guests so we had a table to ourselves in the Garden Room which was ideal, the bar is alongside this so it was the ideal place for our guests to arrive then walk into the room when asked to be seated where we then could close the adjoining doors to have the privacy of the whole room to ourselves. The Garden Room table was beautifully decorated and it had a lovely Wedding feel to it. We played our own background music over the sound system so everything was completely to our own taste. The staff are very professional and friendly and were always on hand when needed. A special mention to Kelly who was lovely and so helpful with our requirements. A very highly recommended venue for that special occasion.

Beautiful country setting with immaculate grounds and interesting building.

Went to an Evening Wedding Reception and arrived after 8pm. I can only comment on what I managed to see in the dark and it was a beautiful place. Other guests were saying what a fab day they had in a stunning setting, very romantic. I would think large weddings would be a little uncomfortable size wise and not a massive amount of parking. We had to drive around twice to find a space. My visit is therefore reflected in my rating as it was dark. Non the less, it was beautiful what I did see.

Park is outstandingly beautiful. A must for a romantic walk. Arrive early if driving as the car park fills quickly.

We would highly recommend Knowle Country House. We had our wedding there on 27/08/17 and it was the most amazing day. All of the staff were fantastic, they catered to our every need and nothing was too much trouble. The run up to the day and the day itself were both truly magical. The food was delicious too! Stayed in the coach house before and after the wedding and this was spectacular! The staff both days were extremely helpful and friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. They go above and beyond.

First visit to Knowle country house, it most certainly won't be the last. A glorious restaurant, set in its own lovely grounds.

Excellent food with good portions. The waiting staff very helpful and attentive. I photographed a wedding here and the grounds are lovely with loads of locations to choose from.

I chose the knowle as my wedding for the stunning grounds , but what I got was a whole lot more !! I started off with staying the night before my wedding with my bridal party and wasted to feel so welcome by Hannah , Julie and Micheal ! The day of my wedding went without a hitch and it was all down to Hannah And Julie , if it wasn't for them I would not have been as calm as I was , there was nothing to little or big they could of done for me and both went out of their way for both me and my husband ! The food was amazing and the waitresses were so efficient, kind and amazing ! Everything they did on my wedding day was spot on and will remember that day for ever ! So for that Hannah , Julie and the waitresses, thank you so much ! U really are stars !!! I will definitely be returning when our anniversary comes around ! I would defiantly recommend this as a wedding venue!

We visited this place for a friend's wedding, fantastic venue, clean and very well kept the food was just fantastic and buffet was very nice too. Drinks are reasonable. Took some lovely pictures staff was very friendly.

Knew we had to park outside but plenty of space. Shown to a nice private room with choices of Prosecco and wines ready. Had preordered our meal so 12 of us got we asked for. Good attention to service and supply of water and wine throughout and eventually closed door to make it more private. Food on the good Sunday lunch side but nothing that blew us away but all in all a very pleasant afternoon. The house and grounds are spectacular so would recommend for private wedding hire

What a wonderful wedding....what a wonderful setting with wonderful food. Everything was perfect for our friends wedding....they couldn't have picked better! So pleased we were invited to experience Knowle Country House

Myself and my family attended here for my parents 50th wedding anniversary in the middle of March this year. It was chosen by my parents after they had eaten here on another occasion of which they thoroughly enjoyed.The venue is stunning and we had a beautiful room all to ourselves for the evening with nice subtle music playing in the background.On this particular evening there was also another celebration in another room.We were given a set menu of which included 3 courses for circa £42 per head. I wanted a fillet steak which wasn't an option but the staff agreed to provide one which was very accommodating. Unfortunately, the steak was incredibly tough, and somewhat full of fat. So much so that I wasted over half of it because I literally couldn't chew it. A few of the other guests also found their steaks barely edible. This was quite disappointing because you'd expect an establishment like The Knowle to be able to offer quality prime cuts of meat. Another issue was the clearing of plates, cutlery etc. Many used and empty plates, knives and forks were left on our table for the entire duration and not removed by the staff.Lastly, was the time we had to wait between meals. I am aware that The Knowle states it will not rush its guests, but we had to wait almost 90 mins for our desserts. In fact on two occasions we had to ask the staff when our next course will be arriving.My parents were a little disappointed because they had a lovely meal here previously with better service. They felt (and myself and others included) that the food and service on this occasion wasn't up to what one would expect here.I don't know if they were understaffed on the date we visited, hence my comments above, or just wether the staff working lacked a bit of attentiveness.Please don't think I'm saying it was dreadful because it wasn't. However, it could have, and should have been somewhat better.

So my son just got married at Knowle Country House. The grounds are very well kept which makes for lots of photo opportunities. The building is periodic and has lots of character. The staff just cannot do enough for you. The food is just delightful. The combination of all the above leads to a great day that was just magical

A fantastic setting for wedding reception ,great food options including GF and vegetarian,the three course meal and evening buffet were superb .Michael ,Kelly and all the staff were so helpful and friendly and made the event go without a hitch.Thank you for giving my daughter a day she will not forget.

We had a lovely day, the staff were extremely helpful, the food was very good and the wine and champagne supplied, was of excellent quality. A very warm and friendly atmosphere, very relaxed, and the table settings were lovely, all in the price charged. No extra costs. Would strongly recommend this venue.

We ate here this afternoon to celebrate a friends 70th birthday. The room was booked for the whole afternoon and we were made to feel so welcome. The food was lovely and lots of it, served by very friendly staff. I am vegetarian and wanted a roast without meat which, although it wasn't on the menu, was catered for without any hassle. It's a wonderful place to eat and also caters for weddings etc. We would highly recommend The Knowle.

What can I say, we had our wedding reception at the Knowle 25 years ago, had had several Christmas works Christmas Parties their as well, but hadn't been there for 25 years, so took my wife for a valentines meal with a bit of trepidation f whether it would still be any good.Well we both really enjoyed it, loved the fact you are greeted to a welcoming roaring fire as you come in from the cold at the reception.We both went for the mains (fillet steak well done with chips and veg) and a pudding , Banoffe pie, and a raspberry meringue, if you like good portion sizes, of good quality food, you won't be disappointed.It really depends what you are used to, if you're u want a £10 carvery with all you can eat, then this is not the place for you.If you want something really nice in lovely surroundings not at west end prices then I would recommend it.A special mention for the staff who were very friendly and welcoming, it makes a big difference.It was a Friday night, and the place was full , which actually a good restaurant should be at that time of the week.The place didn't feel crowded and we enjoyed it so much we tried to book up to come back for Mothering Sunday, but to no avail.Just a tip we tried to book by phone, but I guess the place was so busy, that we ended up making a reservation by email , which was fine.If you are looking for a recommendation to either come here for a meal , or book a wedding here just go for it, just leave yourself plenty of time to book it, I think they get booked up 2 years in advance, people who came to our wedding 25 years ago still say to us it was the best wedding they had ever been too.Just another tip, at our wedding we were lucky enough to have a couple of friends that 'entertained 'people's kids in the room at the back , so parents could relax and unwind a bit, then used the back room for a disco in the evening, would love for my 2 sons to have their wedding receptions here one day, that's how good it was, but they've yet to meet the right person, and one of them is only 17, so has a bit of a way to go!Thank you everyone at the Knowle for a lovely evening, 5 stars again!

Fabulous food and a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Best of all, the waitress service was excellent. Everybody was so friendly from the time we arrived to the time we left. Particular merit goes to Jacqui and Gina who made our first experience so memorable. Can't wait to book again in the Summer to enjoy the gardens.

Visit The Knowle for dinner and had great evening all round. Mostly do weddings so they know how to look after guests.

I cannot praise Knowle Country House enough! It was a fantastic venue and everywhere was beautifully decorated; it made the visit feel very special and christmassy. The food was delicious and the portions were generous. The staff were lovely and accomodating, and it was all for £27.50 per person - which I thought was very reasonable for the amount of food and service we received. They don't add service charge on the bill which was nice as when we gave a tip it was gratefully received.We were a group of 9 adults and 5 children. Sometimes we find at other restaurants, with such a large group, they are not very accomodating to the children due to space, but we had a very large area and the staff were very kind.I would definitely recommend Knowle Country House for a large christmas gathering for friends/family that don't want to cook and clean at christmas time! Hopefully we can return in the summer!

This was my second time at the Knowle for our works Xmas party. The service, food and disco were fantastic. The house was beautifully decorated and looked magical. I would definitely recommend the Knowle in the future.

We visit The Knowle annually on our wedding anniversary, as this is where we got married, and this year it fell on a Sunday. We assumed that it would be a quiet evening, but no, it was very busy with Christmas parties.We were seated at our table straight away as the bar was very busy.The menu seems to have been 'streamlined' since our last visit, but still offers a good variety. The food was of excellent quality and the portion sizes were quite big. The dessert trolley is always a sight to behold and had about 8 different options to choose from.The staff were friendly and very attentive and the service was very good.

The Knowle hosted our wedding on 22nd September and I can honestly say that everything about the whole day was perfect. The adventure started on the eve of our wedding when my friend and I stayed in the Coach House which is beautifully decorated with so much room including a lounge, dining room, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom with a gorgeous balcony to relax with a glass of bubbly overlooking the wonderful gardens. Tea, coffee and milk provided as well as a selection of breakfast treats. A lovely environment to prepare and dress for the ceremony with plenty of room for bridesmaids, make-up artist etc. We were lucky with the weather which enabled our outside wedding in the gazebo but, in the event of poor weather the Garden Room is pretty and a suitable alternative. I could ramble on about our perfect day and can only give an 'Excellent' in terms of staff, food, ambiance friendliness in fact everything...A special BIG thankyou to the owner Michael and Kelly the fabulously helpful and organised wedding co-ordinator!! We will never forget the whole experience and just wish we could re-live it all over again.

Excellent family lunch..fine food,great service, lovely setting in country house. Staff really welcoming and no effort soared to make our visit a fantastic occasion. Would recommend highly to anyone seeking a really pleasant meal out. Thank you to all the staff.

Beautiful venue, beautiful food. 5 course meal well timed and presented nicely. Only qualm is that they only served coffee and tea had to be specifically asked for. Garden was very well maintained, lovely setting for photos.

Went to The Knowle for Sunday lunch, service was great, warm and friendly, bar was small but well stocked.Choice of starters was very good and the main course was a choice of 6 meat roast, not sure if there was a vegetarian option as none of us are, I'm sure if you asked there would be. The desert trolley was extensive, all in all a very good meal and no complaints

What an Amazing place! We have been here a few times now and every one makes us want to go back! We have also booked our wedding for next year here and am so pleased we did! The service, the atmosphere! You feel like royalty every time you step through the door! And I can say we feel like family every time we step out! Michael and his team are just amazing and you can tell they work like a family together!!! Wedding, dinner, get down there its beautiful! Food is amazing and oh my lord he sweet trolley is immense! All i can say is amazing amazing amazing!!! Thanks Michael and the team for now being part of or lives :)

We recently had our Wedding at Knowle Country House, the place is outstanding with stunning views, beautiful gardens and a level of service provided by the staff that far exceeded expectations. The food was absolutely fabulous and the sweet trolley after had so much choice. The whole day went without any issues and I would thoroughly recommend this venue to anyone wanting a intimate, personal and gorgeous wedding.
