Outstanding in hospitality Couldn’t of felt more welcomed Placed first time order for collection instead of relying on useless food apps like Deliveroo Found the phone number and Google and placed my order without no problems and all instructions were followed in preparation as asked e.g no condiments or salad on various items of food Got welcomed to a nice drink k. The house while I wait for my order which is ready within fifteen minutes and I could honestly said they could have taking longer as the enjoyment in the establishment is outstanding You must visit if you ever come to gravesend it is only situated two minutes from the train station Will 100% be returning with good faith that I will enjoy more food and company Kindest regards

Soul Sunday with Vikki Vibe. Brilliant Sunday afternoon and evening. Pub always packed. Like minded people. No hassle and no long wait at bars.

Honestly, lived in Gravesend most of my life and have never been to such an amazing place! Feels like you’re dining abroad when you’re here. Foods amazing! 10/10 Staff are absolutely lovely! So helpful and always smiling! Music is great and keeps you moving in your seat when you’re enjoying your drinks and meal! If you haven’t been here yet, get yourself down because wow such a relaxing, enjoyable experience! Can’t describe with enough words! We came here last Friday and just had to come back again this week! Absolutely amazing!

A spur of the moment walk into town for a drink at the Invicta Bar on a lovely June evening. This place never disappoints, staff are always friendly, a variety of beers, wines & spirits on offer. Always a good atmosphere, with a mixed age range, we did not have food this time, but have eaten here before & the food is good.

I have eaten at Invicta Bar many times but never ordered for delivery at home. WOW! The quality didn’t drop at all, burgers juicy, chicken wings and chips crispy. This is definitely my new go to when I want a good burger at home in front of the TV. Thanks guys 👏🏻

Wings were not as order, they were sweet not hot, also chicken wings have changed, more like breaded wings not what you used to serve previously

Love coming to the Invicta Bar for a night out. Usually come for the live music or DJ but anytime we come it is a great night out. Bar staff are quick and friendly so you rarely wait to be served unless the person in front of you is dawdling or indecisive. Food is great when we do order, the smash burgers are fab. Just a great night out, and every so often we last till the lights all come on and slide away into the early morning!!

Impressed, delivery was earlier than estimated, food was as ordered and tasted great.

First time visit this week Did not have food, beer and service was fine and at first the place had a nice friendly feel. Partner went to the use the toilet around 2230 and found three men in their not using the facilities just mucking about , trying to intimidate him as he used the facilities. They were not that young but he reckons mid to late 20s. Several extremely derogatory remarks were made, even though he had not interacted with them whatsoever and tried to use the toilet in peace. They waiting until going outside back toward the bar and did not say it to his face, deciding to shout some nasty remarks in the hallway where the toilets are situated . He was very angry about this, but had had a few drinks and decided to leave it. He pointed out a tall overweight man bald and beard in yellow T-shirt as one of the idiots late 20s, probably single cos he looked like a mess (still angry about this!!) Not on when you are just out having a pre Christmas drinks with pals. We were a decent sized group, won’t be returning to the bar with knobs like them as patrons. Reply: I do agree it is a bit unfair on your pub, but that was my experience and it left me really angry. I have amended it. It was last night, If you locate the fat bald mess on camera and know him let me know. Standing just off the bar main seating end.

Always a good pint, a good meal, and good conversation to be had at the Invicta Bar.

Went for a meal next door at lunch and decided to have a few drinks after. What a lovely Bar .. wonderful service from daryl and great atmosphere. Will definitely return

Booked on a Friday night with a large group. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, we have a great time. Good was excellent, the best selection of draught beers possible, and a fantastic band too. We will definitely be back!

OMG what have you done to the beers? No madri no prahva now just some American brewery beers in boring old fashioned glasses.

It's a fantastic bar with a great atmosphere. The staff were very helpful and friendly and there is a good selection of drinks. The food we tried was very tasty and reasonably priced. I have had a great many chicken burgers over the years, and I would say this this one was the best! The live music was a great addition and we were lucky enough to get a band playing music we know and love.

Lovely place for food and drinks, staff and regulars are so nice and respectable that you feel more at home than at a pub. In fact it was such a homely place that I went for a job there! Somewhere to call your local for sure if you don't want the roudy crowds that frequent Gravesend pubs.

It's a small but long pub. The bartender nice and polite and the drinks werent as expensive as i was expecting.

Lovely place. No young idiots spoiling it. Defo suited for the middle aged. Very friendly bar staff and a great atmosphere all round. Very busy and can get quite noisy. But a brilliant bar in a good area.

Modern styling craft beer venue. Good atmosphere, lively in the evening especially at the weekends. Converted from an old bar for WW2 combatants - nice that they have kept the name which is the motto of Kent meaning: undefeated. Friendly staff. Craft beer great; real ale, borderline.

Great bar in Gravesend, friendly staff, good music and reasonably priced drinks. Nice decor and good seating (some outside seating for smokers/warm evenings) short walk from the centre of town.

Nice small bar with a different selection of beers compared to regular pubs. Nice atmosphere with friendly bar staff. The food looked really nice but didn't eat there.

Great bar for a chilled out drink with mates, Summer outdoors feels like you’re abroad, and indoors is just as nice. Service always good and food decent, add to that the chilled music on a weekday evening or Sunday lunch and it’s spot on. Saturday nights with live music are a real treat. Can’t fault the place

This is a lovely bar, really nice staff and atmosphere. Only problem is there are so many different brews to choose from not very good for the head.

The perfect place for the over 50s nice to go somewhere that your not surrounded by asbo teenagers on coke shame it wasn’t a bit wider perhaps they should buy next door as it gets busier

I'm glad the Invicta has survived the pandemic, it is more expensive in here for a pint but that show's in the clientele and atmosphere. Everything is craft beer and they always have some amazing fruity IPAs which I enjoy. Great spot to enjoy a friendly drink.

After visiting the panic room we came here for something to eat. Absolutely amazing. Barman was brilliant, drinks served immediately and order for food taken. 3 very different teenagers ordered food as well as myself. All different dinners. Everyone loved it. Can 100%recommend the food its gorgeous... Thanks guys for everything, great middle to my daughters 14th birthday, she said it was the best birthday ever xxx

My first visit here. A night with family and friends. What a great night we had. The bar staff and the owner Darrel were great. Nothing was to much trouble. A great variety of beers and spirts. The bar snack were amazing too. Defiantly recommend the frickles. Will definitely be returning and would definitely recommend.

The Invicta is a great little bar, well decorated, friendly staff, a good selection of ales & beers and it's LGBTQ+ friendly. What more can you ask for?

My partner and myself popped into the invicta the first time since all the madness of covid began last year and was pleasantly surprised, service was polite and welcoming from a lady on the bar, wine was lovely and I also see some lovely looking food coming out. Had we not been booked in the chinese next door we would of stayed longer and ordered food there . Next time definitely we will be back 👌, I hear good things regarding a new chef they have started recently

Shocking service. Zero hospitality. Asked to sit at a table in the corner, got told to sit in front of the bar. Said I'd feel more comfortable as was on my own sitting in the corner which was free (the place was half empty). Then got told they would have to wipe the table after I left if I sat at it and the only space for me was opposite the bar. I left. I'd hope tables were being wiped anyway. Was very poor service. Won't be coming back.

It's quite a loud bar if you're into that sort of atmosphere and they generally do draft beers, no cocktails/mocktails.

Love this bar, they do what they can for you and nice atmosphere. New rules do mean less atmosphere but they did what they could. Music good too.

Booked a table through facebook. When we arrived all Covid protocols were in place, but it wasn’t uncomfortable. A few teething problems with the service, but the guys have been back 3 days after almost a year off and also have a brand new team, so we cut them some slack - they were super friendly and helpful which was the main thing. Food was lovely and we had a great couple of hours eating and chatting (I can recommend the brisket fries followed by the biscoff cheesecake) Overall still one of my favourite pubs in Gravesend.

The service and atmosphere is great however the food quality is appalling I recommend not to eat here. I had the classic chicken burger and I kid you not it was the same as a 99p Mayo chicken from McDonald’s (except you pay more). My friend got the vegan burger which as basic and flavourless. I recommend invicta bar redo their menu. I will go back but just for drinks

Really nice chilled bar, before COVID had a wide range of Gins but to support with managing COVID rules this has been reduced. Staff were super accommodating and helpful. Working within the rules of COVID and just a really nice bar in Gravesend.

We popped in on the off chance just for a beer and and a burger but was very pleasantly surprised. The chefs special tacos we ordered to share was so good I ordered it again as a main and the side and deserts were great. Not just a bar serving local beers and spirits but top notch food and really good prices. Not to be missed.

Been here twice extortionate prices for gin and lemonade can get a cocktail in bluewater for same price and then you don't even get a proper gin glass

The best bar in Gravesend, hands down. Amazing company, relaxed dimly lit, warm and cosy environment with a delicious variety of ale! Love it!

I only popped in for a swift half, after my Untappd app notified me they were now a verified venue. I checked their menu on the app, noticed the Rauschbier.. and here we are. Looks like a really nice place with plenty of focus on the ales, of which they have plenty of choice on tap (hence the Untappd membership), as well as a decent stock in the fridge too. I'll have to go back for an extended visit next time to get a better idea of the vibe, as I was barely there for 15 minutes, but it looks really cool, and with friendly staff. The Rauschbier was excellent, by the way...!!
