The Manor Roast in Gravesham

We have been here for 6yrs running.always had great food great service.good entertainment.will be going back this year to .cant fault it.

After driving from Bristol to Gravesend we needed some lunch, we called here and the staff cold not have been more helpful and friendly. They made us sandwiches from the bar menu and got us drinks. We then booked a table for an evening meal and that was lovley, again very friendly staff, I even had Happy Birthday written in Chocolate on my dessert

Had a business dinner there with 5 others mid week. Staff attention was very professional and noticeable in part due to an element of staff training. Menu choices more than adeqaute but lots of grilled/fried food on offer. Food was served hot and efficiently with good attention to your needs by a watchful and professional waiting staff. Portions seemed on the large side but everyone happy with their choices. Would certainly eat in this restaurant again if staying overnight again.

A lovely traditional Sunday roast how it should be and the price is very good too I don't think you will find anything better for miles real class

Hi guys Another great evening with six quality courses cooked up by Wayne - top chef. Wine matched better than expected. Sally's team excelled with the service once again. Great crowd in again - getting to know everybody on first name terms!!! Thanks Nick and Theresea cant wait for next one

We had a three course meal . Cheese in breadcrumbs with Cranberries then beef dinner then apple crumble all delicious

Went to the Manor Hotel for sparkling Afternoon tea. The food service and Prosecco were great. The setting was good also.

A table was booked for 8 of us celebrating the birthday of 2 in the party. Because the hotel had 2 coach loads, we were given one of the suites with our own bar and 4 servers. They charge a set price for 2 or 3 courses which is very reasonable and the food was ample and delicious. My only complaint is that they have no vegetarian option. I don't eat meat but luckily I do eat fish and the salmon was cooked to perfection. We had a lovely evening and were served by lovely people. I would suggest they put a veggie dish on the menu, other than that, it was fine.

Went in for breakfast with a group of friends and family on a Sunday morning. The breakfast was good but I expected better when it's £12 each. The sausages were sticky, when I took a bite out one, I felt like it was stuck to my teeth. The bacon was quite salty and dry. The hash browns were quite greasy. The scrambled eggs were really nice but the fried eggs were ok. The baked beans were fine. There was lots of different drinks like tea, coffee, orange juice, apple juice, lime juice, rhubarb juice, water and milk. My mum had the continental breakfast which she said was really nice as there was loads of fruit to choose from. There was some foods that they would cook for you if you asked like black pudding.

The quality of the food a lot to be desired there was no attention to detail and either from the staff or what was in front of you The consensus of the whole party was that they would not come back to this establishment is that felt are far better eating restaurants in the area I would forgive this one it was left to me

Hotel is average. The restaurant serves awful food. They use way too much salt. If you do eat and stay here make sure you have water to hand at night.

When you are greeted and escorted to a table it's a promising sign. When you then notice that the table has a nice linen tablecloth, matching linen napkins, and a full set of cutlery, you are stepping into the realms of 'fine dining', and this is exactly what we had on our visit this week. Our Waitress Edyte (?) was attentive and extremely professional, the food was very nicely cooked and presented, with the surroundings and decor clean and comfortable. If ‘Best Western’ read this, I would have marked ‘Excellent’ but for two small issues : Firstly, that when the Menu says ‘with neeps and tatties’ that you actual do provide them (although the boiled pots and veg was good, it just wasn’t what was advertised). Secondly, that I did have ‘Cheese & Biscuits’ as a desert which wasn’t on the menu, and attracted a £3 supplement. This made the dish cost £8, which was grossly excessive for the small amount that was supplied. All in all, a very enjoyable evening, and I will visit again when I am in the area.

Had a great meal there tonight Staff are friendly, the meals are of a great quality and change regularly for the hotel residents, would go there again

A plotless clean restaurant and lively setting great Stafff and the food is top draw at least once a month for a treat and never fails to deliver a real pleasure on a Sunday afternoon hope it stays for a long time

Came here for a 70th birthday and food was lovely. Nice options, & lovely service!! I also sadly came here for funeral and they were extremely compassionate, couldnt help you enough. The buffet they supplied was really nice & to a high standard!! Overall a really nice place.

Stayed at The Manor for a Week, great food , very polite and helpful staff. Great breakfasts and dinners. Definitely visit again.

We had a really wonderful meal. The restaurant wasn't too busy, the staff were attentive, helpful and very friendly. We had a beautifully cooked meal with a really good red wine. The evening was finished with a port. Just perfect.

We had our office Christmas Lunch here instead of The Overcliffe Hotel which has become far too exclusive and pleased that we did as it is far better great atmosphere lovely meal and very good service............hope to return soon for an evening meal.

Very nice, very reasonably priced meal. Staff very helpful with my diet and friendly. It was also nice to be treated as valued customer rather than a single lady traveller (meaning I got a choice of tables rather than being put on display on the billy no mates table!)

Food at dinner was nice enough, limited choice on menu, no vegetarian options seemed available. The menu reads differently to the situation. Veg was not cooked enough but luckily I like it crunchy but the swede was practically raw on the side veg selection. Lamb was tender, spring rolls overcooked, rice clearly microwave pack. Staff were friendly and helpful. Reasonable price, not the best quality.

I have been to several resturants over the years for Christmas Lunch and every time I have been disappointed until this year! We were bowled over. From the minute we arrived til the minute we left, we were made to feel special. The service was excellent, the staff friendly and top quaility and the food was wonderful. Well worth every penny!! We will be returning here again and again and shall tell all our friends and family just how good this place is. The staff made every effort to make us feel welcome. The resturant was beautifully laid out and decorated. Well done! This is a Best Western at it's absolute BEST! Thank you.

We booked a table to one of their Christmas cabaret party nights and can confirm that the service food and evening were first class and although the cabaret Freddie Mercury was very loud he was none the less entertaining our only quibble would be that the drinks were weak and quite expensive however we congratulate the management and staff for an excellent evening and as a consequence have booked for the New Years Eve party

I have been here a few times, once was a christmas do and another couple of times as a meal with family. The food is always delicious, the service is always good and the general atmosphere is very nice

Good place to go for a carvery on a sunday very friendly staff and good value for money ... sometimes it gets very busy so you have to wait but there is a bar for pre dinner drinks ... the rest of the menu is also very good

I have eaten here on 5 different occasions and it has been superb everytime. It is not just a Roast Dinner, they serve a variety of meals. I paid £20.00 for 3 courses and I could have done with not eating the dessert as both the starter and the Main course were very filling. They do not constantly ask you if you would like a drink constantly like other restaurants I have been to. I will definately be returning with my family.

The food and service is excelent and the Hotel is very clean. Good for travellers on the motorway (A20) going towards the southeast coast. Take the Singlewood turn off jast after the Gravesend town one."NEXT TO A WELL PRICED PREMIAR INN HOTEL" The premire inn is very cheap and standard, however clean. The Manor Hotel is very expencive. "TIP" the food at the pub next to the hotel is very good value and filling.

Would highly recommend this place. only been open a few months but the staff try very hard to make your experience great. The food is fantastic and the liitle touches like the staff wearing white gloves to serve your table adds to the class.
