This is a lovely pub for food. The food is fresh and portion sizes are great. The staff are friendly and the pub is clean and I would recommend going here when in the London Bridge area.

Fantastic pub in se1 great homecooked food and awesome staff. A mixed crowd keeps it very entertaining.

Popped in today for a business meal... what a place!! Reasonably priced for the area and superb food. The staff were excellent and attentive. Exactly what you want from a London pub.

A basic pub down a tucked away alleyway. Very busy. Good very reasonably priced food and drinks too. Extremely noisy due to a group of young women shouting at each other! Landlord and staff very friendly. Much more reasonably priced than other eateries in the area.

Visited as this is listed as a CAMRA pub. We were hoping for knowledgeable staff and a range of ales. We're initially ignored at the bar then told they didn't have any beer just some ales that tasted like medicine. No idea about what the beers were. Will be emaing CAMRA as this was THE worst service we have ever had I over 15 years membership- avoid

Excellent real ales, decent pub food and friendly staff. Will certainly go back when I am next in town.

Arrived just after opening time and was warmly greeted. I ordered a Harvey’s which was excellent. We settled down and order two lunches, a regular burger and the veggie option. Both were very tasty, the meat one was homemade from good minced meat and the veggie one, though appeared processed, was by all accounts equally as good. We have passed the pub multiple times to and from Guy’s hospital and will now make a point of making it part of any future appointment.

The Kings Arms is about five minutes walk from the Shard - but they are two completely different worlds. Step back in time to a fantastic old-fashioned London boozer; one of a dying breed, where very little has changed in the last fifty years, except for the addition of a flat screen TV. They have a great range of ales available from brewers like Truman's, Harvey's and Purity. This is not the sort of place to come for that special meal and they aren't likely to be winning any Michelin stars, but the food they do is straightforward, reasonably priced comfort food such as fish & chips, sausage & mash, burgers and pizza. Lovers of traditional unspoilt pubs will not be disappointed.

Had an early dinner and pint here with friends. We'd reserved a table so OK. The beers were good but the food was small portions and didn't taste of much. They completely forgot my friend's order because he paid cash so couldn't prove he'd ordered anything

Dropped in Saturday night, it was busy and had a great atmosphere. Service was quick and friendly, we sat outside and admired the beautiful pub frontage (you do sad things like that as you get older) as they have a couple of tables over the road

I happened to have lunch again in the Kings Arms and while it was okay, there are now so many alternatives nearby, which look far more inviting, I'm really not sure why I bothered. Must try not to make the same mistake again.

We returned here on the day of the European cup final, initially for just a pint but we ended up staying for several more with the excited crowd, tempted by the fun - and of course the great range of ales on offer. Harveys Sussex...

Returned some food and this lady was Rude. Food overpriced for quality and standards very basic menu. Landlady was also rude to another customer because she did not like the subject matter of his conversation.

A few minutes’ walk from either London Bridge or Borough Stations. Visited a couple of times now, mid-afternoon, and found this to be a cosy gem of a pub. Barman was welcoming and friendly, nice pint of Guinness and reasonably priced, good selection of meals...

Best pub fish n chips ever (properly fileted clean and chunky cod, with chunky chips) amazing value, friendly helpful staff, top Guinness. you do need to get there early to get a seat.

Visited on Saturday and were first through the door when it opened at midday.....very nice inside, and the Harvey's best was tops.... The two bar staff were brilliant in handling the onslaught of approx 40 Barnsley supporters who also visited while en route to Millwall...we...

The food was very average, the barman was making faces and rolling his eyes after some of our questions.

Tuvimos que volver aquí cuando estuvimos cerca en nuestro último viaje a Londres y con la necesidad de una buena pinta, ¡no nos decepcionó! Disfruté un par de pintas de Harveys Sussex Best y mi esposa se fue con su bebida favorita, Purity Mad Goose, con mi amable servicio. ¡Felicidad pura!

Rubia Barlady es extremadamente desagradable y desagradable. Ella ha estado sirviendo durante años y se nota, está cansada del trabajo y ya no lo disfruta. Nunca he sido recibido por una cara amable en este pub, y cada pinta derramada es un favor para ti.

El plato de patatas fritas eran cortadas a mano y cocinado a la salida. Volveremos sin duda si tuviera que visitar el hospital. Gran personal, limpia las zonas de bar y los baños. La comida bien probar que es todo lo que puedo decir.

DONT GO TO THIS PUB. It doesnt serve you if you have work wear on in a small group of 3. Work wear being jeans and t-shirt. Dont go. plenty other nicer pubs in that area!!

Nos detuvimos para tomar una pinta rápida como quedarnos localmente y se veía exactamente cómo debería ser un pub. Buena selección de cervezas de barril. Sin embargo, no puede usar su tarjeta para una factura menor a 10. No recuerdo la última vez que me encontré con esto. Tuve que caminar hasta un cajero que estaba a la vuelta de la esquina; hay carteles que me informaron después de que me sirvieron la jarra, pero ¿quién los busca al entrar en un bar? Pronto seremos una sociedad sin efectivo, por lo que tendrán que cambiar de política. Great pub for an after work pint - and went there for lunch mid week. Without a doubt one of the best steaks I have ever eaten. I've paid twice the £14.50 before and the quality hasn't come close.

We were walking and just happened to turn down the right street. What a great pub. Really great food (we had fish & chips, soup, sandwiches, beer) and great service! Highly recommended and wish we could have stayed later for the live music.

Descubrimos este pub con tiempo de sobra y buscando una bebida delante de la cena y un espectáculo en el Teatro Nacional - ¡Qué gran descubrimiento! Este lugar ha conservado su carácter esencial como un pub tradicional mientras que muchos han sacrificado su como parte de la modernización. Sirven una gran variedad de cervezas, incluyendo dos de mis preferidas en Harvey's Sussex mejor y Timothy Taylor Propietario - el cielo.

Hemos visitado varias veces este pub, y es un tesoro escondido, justo al lado de la avenida principal, y alrededor del puente de Londres está dirigido para aquellos que desean un agradable pub de moda antigua y tranquila de cobrar precios razonables.

Much smartened up from my last visit a long time ago. First class drop of Harvey's Sussex Best well several drops actually!

Un amigo (en una silla de ruedas y casi ciego) estaban en camino desde Guy Hopsital a otro lugar para comer bajo la lluvia. Pasado este lugar exprimido en la acera es muy estrecha, y miró, habiendo tenido un vistazo al menú decidimos ir en aquí. Nos alegramos de haberlo hecho. Dos en un viernes pescado y patatas fritas para la relación calidad-precio era excelente, de muy buena calidad y justo lo que queríamos. Buen vino de la casa y, tenía que queríamos cerveza, algunos tentadores que ofrecen. Se volvió muy concurrido en la época de la fiebre del mediodía. El personal era muy amable y servicial, especialmente cuando las ruedas y salir. (un escalón en la entrada, pero en lugar de una puerta estrecha; loo caballeros' está en el nivel superior. Un bonito, ordinaria), pub - hay un montón de lugares bastante presuntuoso en esta zona; estoy muy contento de este no es uno de ellos!

Shame really - nice, comfy boozer with original brass bar fittings and started with a good selection of beers, but within two rounds we were left with only one real ale left on tap out of about 4 or 5. Shame, as the Truman's Swift was a very nice pint. Pretty bizarre and unbelievable for a Saturday, so we left...not much more you can say about it after that. Did notice a nice selection of bar snacks; pork pies, scotch eggs, cheese twists, etc.

Un buen pub tradicional con personal agradable. Sin embargo, dos de las cervezas que pedimos estaban fuera. Uno era vinagre puro. Ambos eran la cambiaron sin ningún problema, pero esta experiencia sugiere que nadie comprueba la cervezas regularmente. Visitamos durante el tiempo de calor que puede ser un factor que contribuye, pero el hecho sigue siendo nuestra visita fue decepcionante.

Vimos este lugar fuera de la carretera principal y pensamos que nos daría una oportunidad. ¡Qué hallazgo! Un lugar tranquilo confortable, que sirve comida de buena calidad a precios muy razonables (bistec con patatas fritas por menos de £12).

He estado utilizando este pub durante los últimos 18 meses y llevar a mi equipo de dirección y colegas allí regularmente para los tragos después del trabajo. Yo incluso utilizada como un lugar para la familia y trabajo bebidas combinadas en mi cumpleaños pasado octubre. No se sorprenda si nos pasamos más de £1000,00 allí el año pasado. Por desgracia nuevo personal está trabajando allí y ahora se limita para mí permanentemente. El viernes pasado estuve en el pub para bebidas con mi Presidente. Había llegado antes que yo así que él ya tenía (al menos) una bebida. Pasamos una hora charlando durante el cual tuvimos tres pintas cada una. Pagar cada vuelta en efectivo o con tarjeta. Me encontraba con un frío y decidimos en este punto de irnos, pero nos ofrecieron una bebida como mi Presidente deseaba estancia para otro. Cuando traté de pagar con una tarjeta para la pinta que cuestan £4.00 el barman me dijo que era £10.00 minimum pasar (cual había sido consciente de pero había olvidado). Me explicó las circunstancias que yo no tenía ningún dinero en efectivo y que habíamos pasado aproximadamente £35,00 + que era consciente de todos modos. Él continuó a discutir sobre "política de empresa" e ignorar el hecho de que ya habíamos gastado dinero esa noche y muchas veces anteriormente. Pedí hablar con la directora, señalando lo que había sucedido. Ella se negó a escuchar y me ofrecí a pagar el £10,00 4,00 libras para una bebida (yo no tenía opción) pero le aconsejó que, al hacerlo así, significa que nunca volvería allí de nuevo. Ella dijo entonces que no sean bienvenidos todos modos y entonces dijo: "No te molestes con las £4.00 ". Aprecio que tienen las organizaciones políticas, pero que no estaban preparados para escuchar razón o el sentido común. El lunes siguiente entré y recompensa la £4.00 dinero del principal. Este pub es tristemente dirigido por personas que actúan como robots y son increíblemente groseros con los miembros del público que son asiduos - incluso hasta el punto de expulsarlos. ¿Qué tipo de lugar. Al enterarse de lo que me ocurrió a mi personal de 14 personas han dicho que no volveremos y todas las funciones de la empresa se celebrará en otro lugar local. Estoy realmente impresionada y horrorizados por la experiencia y espero que los propietarios de este establecimiento enterarse de las acciones de su personal y el daño que está haciendo a sus negocios.

Really good selection of beer served well by polite staff. Buzzing atmosphere and a good traditional feel to the pub.

Adorei esse pub, o ambiente é acolhedor, com sofás confortáveis. A seleção de cervejas também é ótima, recomendo a Wherry (Woordfords) e a Swift (Truman).

Tropezamos con pub encantador por accidente, pero me alegro de haberlo hecho! Alquilar una noche de marcha en Londres nos detuvimos aquí para una comida y algunas bebidas. Todo tenía una excelente pescado y patatas fritas de muy alto nivel y una gran porción. Precioso pub como en los días de Charles Dickens. El personal es servicial y a un precio razonable demasiado : -)
