Best fish and chips. Crispy batter and exceptional thick cut chips. Don’t forget their home made tartare sauce. 5 star all round

We have had fish and chips many times from here and it has been excellent but unfortunately last Friday 10th May my dad and myself shared a scampi and chips and had I of known it was as cold and tough as it was when I brought it , I definitely would have returned it as we both left the scampi and had to throw it away as it was so cold and tough , very disappointing as normally we thoughly enjoy the food there as very good

The best fish n chips I have had in decades. Fish is fresh and fresh-battered. Chip portions are for gluttons but good texture and taste. Service is speedy and fortunately not re-fry style as in F1 junk. My favourite- a must.

Been here about 5 times now and it's never been bad. Always fresh and hot. Nice to have a local to work that is this good 👌🏻 pea fritter is one of my favourite items on the menu 😎

One star for being open! This was worst fish and chips we have tasted. Small portions, batter like leather and fish dry beyond words. Had to use mayonnaise to get it down! Never again!!!

Fish and chips are very good. but opening hours are no good at all. when people need it for lunch, shop is closed. break has to be from 3:00-4:00

Usually this fish and chip shop is great but tonight a large fish was very very greasy and no crispy batter and the chips were very pale/hard and tasted like they was reheated. The curry spring roll was not nice the pastry was very thick and soggy. Sorry but for the sky high prices of fish and chips these days it should be spot on. Almost £27 with service charge etc for 2 large cod 1 portion of chips and a curry spring roll. Delivery was free with deliveroo. Sorry kingfish I'm just being honest and as I said usually your food is good 👍

Third or fourth order. Food is delicious. Fish is a decent size. Chips are very good. Very easy to order online. It's now our 'go to' chip shop. Yum

Wow - used Kingfish for the first time today on a friend’s recommendation and it was really excellent. Online ordering and pickup worked seamlessly and the quality of the food was really great - definitely some of the best fish and chips we’ve had. Even our kids eat (most) of their fish (not just the chips) which is something of a first!

I visited Farnham yesterday and needed some chips before a party. I ordered large chips from Kingfish. Wow. These chips were lovely. Crisp on the outside and puffy inside. A lovely golden colour with no rancid fat taste. These chips are as good as I have ever tasted. Better than the Magpie in Whitby or the famous chippies in Alborough in Suffolk. Considering potatoes are picked in September then stored all year, by the time you make chips in March, the starches have turned to sugars and chips tend to go dark as the sugars burn in the fat. I will be diverting back to Farnham and go back and try more of the menu. Well done Kingfish team.

I ordered butterfly prawns and places it was swimming in Greece I will never go there again

5 star when online ordering has a 'pay by cash' option like everyone else. I'm not handing over bank details for a portion of chips, don't care how secure and encrypted it's meant to be either.

Good quality food and efficient service. A little pricey, though. As someone who regularly gets fish and chips, I'm happy with this being my local.

I was reading reviews whilst waiting for my food. And must admit , this place is profit orientated and not you. Ordered burger meal. Asked for a bit of ketchup on my chips, they charged me extra for it!

Everyone always says .....xyz does the best fish and chips, and I'm always left underwhelmed. Not really a fish and chip fan as typically they can be a bit greasy / stodgy...however the portion i had last night from Kingfish were a delight. Beautiful flakey fish in a dry crisp batter, paired with a perfectly cooked portion of chips. Will have to try again soon to see if this was a chance event.

Had a few meals from kingfish the meals are hot and plentiful not greasy would highly recomend.

Went there to get chips and was asked if I want a bag for my chips (2 portions ))-I said yes as am not gonna put it in my.pocket. to my amusement I was Charged for the bag-for the first time ! Well -i think this is absolutely silly as putting ur takeaway in a bag is a common sense and they shouldn't have charged for this!!!! No more take away from this place!!!!!!!!!

Ever since the new owner took over, the place has gone down hill... the chips are soggy as well as the fish batter. You only get half the portion of cod bites compared to the previous size for the same price. When I tried to explain this to the manager, she did not listen as she thought I was being rude and told me, if I don't like their deal, I shouldn't come back. I will stick to the fish and chip shop in Farnham for now on as it never fails to disappoint.

Probably the worst fish and chips I have ever had. :,( The chips were OK but the batter was appalling – definitely NOT homemade, thick, VERY undercooked, stodgy, oily, not crispy in the slightest! I had to scrape most of it off and still have stomach ache. Also tragically tastes like it's been cooked in palm oil. :,(

Purchased cod & chips and sadly it was the worst batter I have ever had. None of it was remotely crispy, it was far too thick, floppy, soggy and pale yellow. Very poor - will not be returning I'm afraid.

Scam or Just unlucky? Regardless of whether you order a large cod or a standard cod, the size is the same. Price, of course, is higher for the large and lower for the standard! Quality is ok. Preferred the previous owners! Going downhill!

The chips were OK ish, but the fish tasted awful and I had to chuck it away. Wouldn't go there again.

I really like saveloys; but not from here. Tasted of water and very bland. Really poor Chips are not good as well. Great location opposite a pub and Farnham station. I would advise getting drunk first. Everything tastes better when you're drunk and hungry.

the worst fish and chips I've ever had. choose the new 2x f&c plus chicken nuggets menu for 14.99 . if I lived closer I would have taken it back. fish was all dried up, had probably been re-heated all day. nuggets were tasteless . do not recommend this chip shop - totally conned 😕

Went in tonight for 2 lots of chips and 3 battered sausages at a cost of £8.40. Everything was cooked fresh and chip portions were huge - great value for money. Good service too.

The last two times we have been it has been 5* but tonight its in the minus numbers!! Ordered fish and chips, a veggie burger with salad, no mayo and chips....my husband comes home with only fish and chips, a burger with nothing on other than a bun....how hard is it to get an order right?!

Been taken over and not as good as it was with previous owners. Lady serving was obnoxious, chips soggy and fish oozing grease. Hope our next visit is better.

Recently the chips have been full of black bits. I've watched batch after batch being wrapped up with the same issue. Not sure if it's a seasonal thing, their supplier or they're just sitting out the back too long.

Good fish and chips at a reassemble (for Farnham) price. Staff are friendly and only like to serve freshly made and despite that the wait is never long. Parking can be an issue but their is usually somewhere around the station.

They don't accept card payments anymore. I don't carry cash, because it's not the 1970s, therefore I can't come here anymore.

Travelling from Gatwick airport and needed fish and chips on the way. Google search on route found this place. Regular cod and large chips with curry sauce, salt and vinegar; awesome. Very very tasty. Fresh fish just cooked and chips cooked to perfection. Well worth the visit and only a few meters off the A31
