Totally different order to what I expected, food was cold and the crackers were rock hard

Food is nice. However, there was very little to no pork compared to other places I have ordered from. The portion is just toooooo small.

Always hot and quick delivery, we are regulars and have never had a problem.

Never order from there again the chicken balls tasted like metal the pancake roll inside was like mash the chips was dry

I waited 2 hours for food to be delivered, only to find a Singapore chow mein, was not a Singapore chow mein. chicken with pineapple was watery. sweet and sour chicken balls were tiny. prawn crackers were soft. For the price they charge, I expected a lot better.

Driver was really lovely! Food was late however, the starter didn’t have any seaweed, the “spring rolls” were laughable, literally tied up pastry with barely a teaspoon of filling. Rest of the food was ok. A bit cold and very greasy. Rarely leave reviews but this is the second time this has happened in a row, 3rd and final order lol

First time try this place and all ready not again im affraid. It took over a hour to get here but within the time given, got a simple meal and when you have to add your own seasoning that is disappointing. Got the "salt and pepper chicken" I've had mayo spicier then that and the "Chop Suey" is bland, even the "Curry sauce" has bearly any taste and spice.

Called to check but chap arrived whilst on the phone. Really poor delivery times.

It might have been a little late but worth the wait. The best yueng chow fried rice I've had in decades. thank you King Chef

It was a lovely meal but my chips was hard

food was piping hot and delivered early, ice cream went down great too... only downside was the menu didn't say that the special chow mein would be served in a horrible slimy gravy.... I was expecting a dry noodles with vegetables and meats, so unfortunately that went straight in the bin

How can you call that a chicken chow mein? No onions or bean sprouts l, 2 little bits of chicken, literally a pot of just noodles that were stuck together and tasted nothing like a chow mein not a nice taste at all! Chips were soo dry! And the beef with green pepper in black bean sauce had 0 taste like it’s been frozen and just reheated so watery . Will not be ordering again! Waste of £21!

Greasy, salty food. Poor quality, couldn’t even finish it. Prawn crackers under cooked, chow mein swimming in grease and so salty I threw it away. Chicken satay was tough and over cooked. Egg fried rice was bland. Whole thing was just not very nice at all.

The crispy beef was wore bbq but the rest was nice

Sorry to say this wasn't as good as our first one. 30 minutes late cold and much smaller portions such a shame as we've only been in the area for 3 months and thought we'd found a good Chinese, unlikely we will order again.

Hong Kong style sweet and sour chicken could have had a bit more sauce, was a little dry, it wasn’t terrible it just wasn’t as good as my usual spot. All in all if my regular spot is shut I’d probably go somewhere else for this dish. Delivery was fast and food piping hot! So all good there

Ordered chicken chow mein, some weird egg thing turned up and it wasn’t what I wanted. Other than that, food was good and earlier than expected too

The food was delicious, as always. For some reason the site stated my order had been delivered even though I hadn't received it. I did call the restaurant and the person I spoke to couldn't explain the problem on the site but did reassure me my meal hadn't left the restaurant yet as there was a high demand for takeaways tonight. They were very polite and helpful and I did appreciate this, so thank you. The delivery driver was lovely and friendly, so overall, despite being late, I'm happy.

the food was at best average. the Chinese chicken was watery, the chips were undercooked. the BBQ sauce was watery and had no flavour and the curry sauce was as thick as porridge. would be reluctant to use again. the Singapore rice noodles were lovely though.

Over an hour and a half late, had to chase up order twice, told its minutes away both times, ended up waiting another half hour, by the time food turned up, quality and quantity was poor, 1st and last time will be ordering from here,

Piping hot and delicious, salty and spicy Szechuan with tender chicken and crunchy veggies, just as it’s supposed to be.

Not very nice had duck pancakes the duck had loads of bones all in it

Great food but missed the fried rice. called restaurant and they delivered it fairly quickly.

Have supported this takeaway for quite some time now, but unfortunately recently the standard has really dropped. Today I received a portion of satay chicken skewers with not a drop of satay sauce in sight & the blandest Singapore noodles. Everything arrived lukewarm. Really disappointed & paid £16.90 for the privilege!

Food was tasteless. Chow mein had no taste even with curry sauce added. Had to add some soy sauce to it! Prawn crackers flavourless, only nice thing was the prawn toast. Ordered from King chef before and really enjoyed it so I'm not sure what went wrong this time :(

Cantonese Spare ribs burnt and dry, very disappointing!!

The chow mein we had was lovely, but the quarter duck was awful! We've never had so many bones/inedible bits when we've ordered duck at other restaurants, which is a shame in general but especially because of the price

Easily the best chinese takeaway in the area. Jui Zem dishes are incredible! Food always arrives hot and ontime, genuinely wouldn't order from anywhere else.

Worst chinese I've ever had. Crispy duck pancake came with bones and carcass. Lemon chicken both tastes like and has the consistency of treacle sauce, was inedible. Chow mein arrived cold.

Food arrived early, was hot & very tasty

Disappointed to see the food was marked as delivered before it had even arrived. Ordered at 5pm, marked as delivered at 6pm didn't actually arrive until 6.35pm and was given the wrong sauce, ordered satay and was given curry. Small things I know but definitely effected the experience. The rest of the food was good.

Chicken balls were soggy and chips were stale. He took 35mins to get to me from a 7-10min journey. I even rang and they said he left about 3mins ago 5mins past my due time. It was obvious he had dropped 1or 2orders off before mine and had still at least 1 in his car from what I saw. So I feel sorry for their food. No point in ringing, wasn't going to wait another hour for food. YOU NEED TO HIRE MORE DRIVERS

2 hour wait…pretty sure they had missed our order when we called after 1.5 hours.

Our usual Chinese was closed so tried king chef. The food was hot on arrival but the cost was higher than usual and the portions were smaller and not as flavoursome. Nice food just not the same as we are used to.

Took over 2 hours and when food eventually arrived it was cold and soggy. I phoned shop twice and was told it was on its way. Really disappointing.

Very small portions to what we normally are used to. I feel that the food is expensive, even with 10% off for the amount of food you get for the money.

Quality food, decent portions and very flavoursome. Definitely recommended.

I had the product second hand delivered from a cancellation. I've not used this place before, but for a demo it has failed my use in King Chef.

Food was great again and plenty of it. Delivery was earlier than expected time given (which is no bad thing when you want delivery ASAP) - recommended

The starter was unfortunately Gross, greasy, no filling and the seaweed was stale. Chow Mein came out in one congealed lump. The driver thought he was funny, more of an attitude than anything else. Wouldn't recommend it at all. First and only order.

Excellent meal. Will order from you again for sure. Driver very polite and cheerful. There was a slight mix up on the computer so I did phone the restaurant and the person I spoke to was very courteous and respectful and this minor problem was dealt with very quickly and easily. Thank you.
