Kebab Truck in Portsmouth

I drive past this place all the time, popped in for the first time to order a toasted breakfast sandwich and a coffee. Coffee was from a proper machine made fresh in front of me and the toastie was just what the doctor ordered. "Very happy bunny"

Just had food delivered and it was absolutely shocking ordered 3 meals all with drinks but only 2 drinks come which was both wrong completely ordered 3 cokes and got 1 ribena and 1 Diet Coke and the food was all ice cold

Great burger but that’s where the good story ends…. Had to wait about 10 mins after an online order on a very slow responding screen. Place looked tired and dirty, topped off by a fat/waste container with a disgusting waste pipe attachment on the counter. Food arrived in a bag despite ticking eat in - no big issue here. Self service coke machine broken , second one out of coke. Third no ice and a very warm non fizzy drink was dispensed. Finally found the ice in the second machine worked. Back to meal, whopper was actually very good. The loaded fries were terrible and literally grease was pouring out the bottom of the box. Whopper was £4.99 total bill was over £10 so the fries and drink raised the price and I felt totally conned. Wasn’t worth complaining as by looking at the staff they couldn’t give a monkeys about the place.

I recently ordered from Wings and Shake, and while the food itself was decent, the overall experience was a real letdown. The wings were tasty, and the shake was pretty good, but the service was terrible. They managed to forget one of the items from my order, which was frustrating enough. But instead of delivering the missing item directly to my door like any decent service would, they told me I had to go and collect it myself. To make matters worse, they didn’t even bring it to my building – they made me walk around the corner to pick it up outside a Domino’s. I was absolutely shocked by this level of customer service. The whole point of ordering delivery is to have the food brought to you, not to have to go out and get it yourself. I paid for delivery and expected better. The food might be okay, but the hassle and poor service are definitely not worth it. I won’t be ordering from here again unless they seriously improve their service. If you’re thinking about trying this place, be prepared for the possibility of a frustrating experience.

I think this place is under new ownership - I say this because I’ve known this place to exist for more than over a decade and the food had always been good. I visited today and it was absolutely abysmal to put it politely. Kofte Kebabs - ALL the meat was over cooked on the outside but when breaking into the meat, it was PINK and undercooked on the inside. Shawarma Kebab - I asked the guy for a Shawarma kebab. He gave me lamb donner ‘strips’ instead!? I said to him, “if I knew you’d serve me this, I’d have never ordered, I asked for Shawarma” - He tried to tell me firstly “it’s the same thing”, when I insisted and I wasn’t about to be lied to, he told me “my boss said it’s shawarma” 🤦‍♂️ I wasn’t in the mood to argue any further - even the chicken burger was over cooked and crispy. £40.00 worth of food - we chucked it ALL IN THE BIN 🗑️ I will be making a report to the Food Standards Agency; it should be illegal to operate a food establishment in such appalling conditions. Sad to see a once good food establishment having being sold and turned into a pig stye!
