KFC Guildford - High Street in Guildford

We were served over cooked/burnt chicken mini fillets. The main selling feature of KFC is the chicken - how can you get it so wrong?!

Went there yesterday for the first time, me and my partner ordered a chicken burger and a chicken boneless meal deal around 1pm and by 4pm we were both vomiting from food poisoning. Will never go again

Had a helpful and nice staff member Dama recommended meals for the family as we wanted different things what was chosen family loved. Would come again helpful chatty staff

Chicken 🐔 🐥 that came from 🥚's 🪺 similar to 🥓 that comes from 🐖 and beef that comes from 🐄. It's all protein and saves me from taking steroids at the gym so it's win 🏆 win 🏋️‍♂️ 💪 I'm a supreme athlete because of kfc and have had zero cardiac arrests in 48 years of eating it. Where's Guilford?

Ordered a 6 piece family feast with 4 fries, 2 sides and cold drink. Chips were not fried properly and all we got in the box of chicken were 6 drumsticks. Surely a family feast should have a variety of pieces and not the left overs that no one wants. Order number 5020 on Sunday 24 March, machine had no paper to print a receipt

Every single time we order for delivery they make a mistake. Once or twice I can live with but if these clowns were doctors there would be a public outcry….Hey Col. Sanders, patient Bob is dead as a dodo… he was supposed to have a heart op and you gave him a boneless banquet instead. Jeez thank god they aren’t. I know your job is difficult but really is it? All you have to do is give the correct order to the correct customer or oleaginous delivery drone. Maybe like Santa Claus you should check the list twice…just to see whose ordered a zinger or rice. Why do you keep ordering from them I hear you cry? Seriously I don’t know. Whenever we have a family take away, every couple weeks as a treat, I dread the family saying KFC. I Plead with them but my youngest daughter with a tear in her eye looks deep into my soul and states “maybe father, maybe…they might just get this one right for once” You not only messed this order up, you destroyed a young persons dreams and aspirations. I’m not angry, I am disappointed… oh and really really angry…I lied.

Don't cook the chicken properly and quite often missing items

Normal KFC, wasn't too greasey, nice staff, fast and on time and hot !

Took 20 minutes to get service and too many delivery drivers waiting to pick up orders

A one star is too much for kfc. I ordered a takeaway veggie rice box. And because they are too professional and honest, they did not add any rice nor beans to my meal.. they filled the box with greens and sauce. Such a shame and an ethical

Shame about not having a table to eat at but other than that no complaints. Big thumbs up to the ladies on the counter. They were super polite and pleasant, and it was the best fast food experience I've had in a long time.

Nothing more than a good KFC welcome

Tapped my card to pay and was told it didn't go through and was asked to tap again, turns out after checking my bank I have been charged twice. Be careful When you pay in here.

Whenever ordering online this place always forgets items. The quality of the food has dropped, we got one burnt piece of chicken dripping in grease, along with 3 chicken dippers soggy and mushed up in a box. The chips are always stone cold but the drinks warm? Awful place.

I have had a meal via Just Eat. Taste was awful. Cold chips, burnt wings, dirty Zinger. This is the second time that I am receiving untasty meal from this branch. Be away!

Need to update your phone number? Numbers not recognised. Also a nightmare ordering online, app either closes after payment and leave you no receipt or crashes before payment and leaves you a order confirmation. Both time we have ordered online we have not been sure if it was processed or not. Then to top it off when trying to contact your store to figure it out we get number not recognised

Got Salmonella from their hot wings, worst couple days of my life, avoid avoid AVOID. will be reporting this to health and safety.

Their system was partially down. So when I placed the order at the self service machine and paid, the staff didn't receive it. I and everyone else had to go and chase it down individually. They had only 3 people worked at the time and it was far less than needed

Absolutely appalling everytime I order from this place it’s either stone cold or doesn’t even turn up at all. I honestly don’t no why I still chance it, the big man himself would be ashamed to keep this place open

The place is a joke, got my bucket for 1 without a lid on it, customer service is very bad. Better of going across the road !!!

No parking (unless you pay) & no option to eat in. Feels dirty & the pavements outside are a disgrace (covered in fatty marks). The Deliveroo guys seem to use the vicinity of the shop as a hang out which makes it less than welcoming. The staff always seem busy doing nothing & even when they're quiet it's difficult to get served. KFC done well is great but this branches chicken is very greasy & soggy. Not great!

Came in today 10 minutes before they were due to close. Felt really bad as I know at 12pm you just wanna go home. Staff were so kind and the service was fast. All my food was hot and the whole team were really lovely. Never had any problems with food at this branch in Guildford and I'm always served with a smile. KFC should be applauding their team. They work hard :)

We been place the order for Party bucket for 29.99£ and we had additional ² large sides.First time when we collected the food and get back to home, we noticed it wasn't been 4 gravy. We back to KFC at High street in Guildford they give as replacement for gravy (4 corns)...when we check the big bucket at home it was only 14 pieces..two buckets been missed .8fillets and 6wings..Get back to store to get solved it out. They cannot add a missing pieces it was to late for them it was a closing time and they cannot do refund because we not took our order with Us.we been ask check cameras and do refund .They cannot help us and we been told to do what we want .The manager also noticed she not be available to do anything. We paid full amount of price and didn't get 50% of chicken in order. This is not the first time when the products you paid not being in the order, in this place.

It was a 01.01.2023 evening time .I place the order for party bucket in Local KFC.. We are been together With my Gf.. When we recieve the order my Gf want to check what we have inside,but I told her don't do that it will show a Bad Manner. How the Mess I was wrong Guys.We get only 1 Bucket instead of 3😅😅😅 but it been to late and we must back to KFC.. When we was trying to explain them what happened they answer been just shocked: we are almost close and we cannot do refund ( you didn't bring the food back to Kfc)) The Manager was friendly and I was told her.. Please do Refund.. She was replying few times I cannot do anything I'm so sorry .. She really sorry to left me without food and time what been totally wasted.. When we was asking to provide all Names of colleagues who was been in that case .Manager didn't give any others name just Her.. All mood been ruined .They answer was we cannot help you guys..🤣🤣. I'm never ever been so upset..They gey full charge and don't want do anything for that case .. My Gf put an official complaint to the KFC Squad ( the answer was less than in 24hr) We get a refund for missing items.. Guys please check your order before you leaving .Or you will be upset like we was. And Also 30% of they customers complaining about missing food in they orders.. Happy 2023 New year to Everyone. I loved KFC it was amazing the staff is friendly and they smile to you which makes your day also there food is amazing the burger 🍔 is nice and tasty and fresh and they make it quick which makes it to be hot 🔥. Ordered on Uber eats. Food arrived stone cold and Uber said they couldn’t refund. They said to get in touch with KFC. The number on Google for the high street store doesn’t work. BE WARNED!

Went to collect food drove back home and was missing some of my order tried to call no response

Was in bed for two days with the KFC squirts and sickness. Tasted good at the time then on Thursday morning was ill mild food poisoning. Chicken not cooked properly.

Terrible branch where staff are not obliging. Ask for specific parts of the chicken and they were not even bothered.

Foods ok, its KFC, lower your expectations and you'll be fine, but the waiting times are horrendous mostly caused by the 1000 delivroo drivers cluttering up the place!!!

I have to say avoid this KFC at all costs, first they make you wait 20 min for till service then they are in capable of giving you your correct order. Too many time do they forget to give you parts of your order and to be honest ita a joke, one simple task to be done and they can't do it. Start employing people that can read an order. Will go elsewhere from now on.

Service has really gone down in here. Staff dealing with customer orders & delivery orders. It needs the two areas separated, either deal with customer orders only or delivery orders, staff can't deal with doing both.

Ordered a rice box but there was so much salad it was ridiculous. Less than a quarter of it was rice. Also Ordered the bbq bites which were like bullets so they had obviously been in the hot counter for some time.

Ordered 3 zinger burger meals for dinner.Got all sides and drinks but one burger instead of three.Two hungry children.Have to divide the one burger?

Don't bother!! Waited over a hour for delivery via deliveroo only to discover 1 boxed meal, drink and a couple of sides missing. The food we did get certainly wasn't worth the wait. Very very disappointing.

Very average KFC, with slow service and sometimes rude staff. I'll always head into the KFC in the Friary center if it's open, but in the evenings you don't get this choice!

Lovely chicken I picked mine up so all hot and tasty.

KFC has really gone downhill. Chicken pieces are like nuggets with bone on it and the Zinger Tower Burger was soggy.

Absolutely shameful..... Mixture of old and even older fries which were still frozen in the middle.... Twister purchased was put together terribly and they had cut one strip in half to make it.....it should have two...... Service is also rude.... Pay heed to the bad reviews... This place to be avoided!

Clean and hygine maintained, queue disciplined

I've ordered through 'Just Eat' approx 3 times in about as many months from this location. Twice i've had food missing and on the third, the driver gave me a bag that was split at the bottom which led to food falling to the floor. I've given up on this location, this is the only location that I get issues with so i'll be avoiding this one going forward.

Really Disappointed with KFC, not taste at all, oil is dripping off, seriously what are you doing guys. May be it’s time for a change.

Forgot corn on cob and hot wings

Before it was ok but last time we found in our family bucket hair and quality of food was very poor. Staff doesn't wear any gloves, hair protection. Next time, No Thanks!!!

Ordered a VEGETARIAN rice box yesterday (delivered by Deliveroo) and received a salad box with chicken in it! This is totally unacceptable and left me extremely upset!

Ordered by the app, as restaurant is always busy. Was pretty much ready when I walked in. Very quick service, and tasty.

Pre-ordered my meal using the app and it was ready for me within 5 mins of arrival, all freshly prepared and piping hot. Store was very clean and tidy, staff were very helpful and friendly. The only thing that tends to grate with me and other customers is the way that couriers are given priority over everyone else, no matter what. This needs to be addressed.

May 02 at about 1715, parked my car and ordered inside via the self-order machine, no receipt was printed, no social distancing as well. Left once collected the order and had to return as the chicken wrap was not included, again, no social distancing. Got our chicken wrap, guy gave a free fries which we don’t actually need as we are avoiding carbs and oil. The wrap had toooo much of mayo, I swiped two tissues of mayo (bit sour) and I lost my appetite. Waste of money!

Waited an hour and a half for my order and instead of delivering my food, they decided to cancel the order. Don’t bother buying from here. It’s a waste of time.

I'd never thought there would be a KFC I wouldn't want to step in ever, again. Only one staff was wearing the mask properly. One guy had the mask under the chin the whole 20 mins I was there, and he packed orders and handed them out, all without mask over his face. The other guy kept using his gloved hand to adjust his mask every 30 seconds. I was so tempted to just leave without my order. This is shocking standard for KFC. DON'T EVER GO THERE. I'm new to the area, apparently there's another KFC in the mall which I'll try next time.

Terable place, in covid crisis there was over 5 deliveries drivers plus customers ordering, very small and very busy place.

Ordered a meal and what was delivered was wrong. Unable to contact the restaurant either by phone or via email. Last time I use this KFC.

We ordered from here via Uber Eats. One item was missing and some hairs found in the hot wings which lowered our star rating. Uber Eats were very unhelpful and refused to help or refund cost of missing items. As we have complained Uber Eats about the incomplete order Uber Eats consider this "suspicious activity" so we won't use Uber Eats again however other delivery companies go to KFC. We raised the concerns direct with KFC who were very helpful.

The worst experience ever. Long queue while Uber Eats and Deliveroo orders are made ahead of customers stood there. Ignored at the counter. Rude, overworked staff. It took 45 minutes to get a meal - the whole point of KFC is fast service. I will never go here again. Awful.
