Takeout delivered last night was the worst we've ever had from China Express. We ordered a chicken dish and a prawn dish but both arrived coated in the the same thick, bland tasting orange coloured sauce (one should have been sweet & sour and the other kung-po). Both thr chicken and the prawns were in some kind of hard shell or coating which was pretty difficult to break through to reveal in the innards. It was actually inedible and we threw it away and had a pizza instead. Will never order from here again

Food wasn't very nice at all, chicken was very rubbery, sauces were watery and had no flavour, very disappointed.

The food is amazing from here and so clean and beautifully presented plus delevirey staff lovely and polite . I would recommend to friends and family 😀

This is the absolute best chinese we've had we travel all the way over from woking nearly every Friday night and we've never been let down by any of the food tastes great and service is fantastic would highly recommend to everyone!

Just got even better. Glad they updated the king prawn chowmein which is my favourite and the wonton soup is really nice too.

We ordered for the second time today and afraid we didn’t enjoy it. We ordered once before when we first moved to the area and we weren’t wowed and the same again today. All of the sauces seemed very thin and watery without much flavour. The food was hot however and delivery was very fast, the staff pleasant. It’s a shame really as it’s close to home and we really enjoy a nice Chinese meal.

Food was absolutely awful! Greasy, soggy, cost £43 and couldn't eat it, worst food I've ever eaten. Happy garden in village much better!

Have been using this restaurant for years and have never been so disappointed with the quality of the food that i received tonight. The special curry didn't taste like curry and both special fried rice was not like it has been, not much flavour at all. Overall very disappointed ☹️☹️☹️, ended up throwing away everything apart from the prawn crackers.

Absolutely fantastic takeaway. The food is always very tasty and if you can collect it is usually ready very fast. This has been our go to for years now and they have provided consistently good food!

Food wasnt very nice, chowmein had no flavour, rice had no flavoir and stuck together, the s/s sauce tastes more like a peach sauce, the chilli beef was all soggy, and the satay sauce tasted nice but was so so runny

Have had numerous takeaways from this restaurant + quality is consistently high. Yesterday tried a set meal for one, + an additional main course, + quantities were ample for two. Delivery was prompt + service friendly + efficient. Would recommend.

Food looked good but not very flavoursome. Disappointing.

Just ordered some food and by far the worst Chinese I have had in a while. Ordered vegetable spring rolls, not nice at all, looked like mashed something inside, colourless and pretty much tasteless. Satay chicken was more like a korma, no spice and the texture was like glue. As for the chicken-chowmain, no colour, no taste very dry. Beef in black bean sauce, was pretty dry too. Won't be eating from here again. Waste of money

I very rarely have takeaway. This month, I have used this place twice for delivery. The food shows up on time and the deliveryman is very friendly and polite. The food was excellent and it was a reasonable price. I will use this place again and I would highly recommend it.

Really great food. Lived in ash and been driving past this place for about 2 year now and only found out about it because a friend took me here. Great local spot. They cook your food where you can see it. And really reasonable pricing. Only issue is the parking space.

used to be the Chinese to go to recently fallen to pieces failed to deliver food and were extremely poor after 3 phone calls i found they had placed my order for collection and were rude enough that i will not be going back .

Been loyal customers of this Chinese for a matter of years. Ordered tonight for delivery. Was told on the phone it would be 10 minutes. 35 minutes later we called to check on our food. They said it’s fine, no sorry on the phone. After another 25 minutes we called again confused on why it had taken an hour.... the lady said we said we would collect.... which we did not. Then without any rudeness from us. The lady on the phone told me that they would no longer take our orders. Just purely rude considerate we have never used any other Chinese.

The worst Chinese I have ever had. No flavour. Very bland disappointing food. A real waste of money.

Woman is rude and abrupt she may be busy but manners cost nothing. Food average is all I can say. Won't return.

Worst Chinese ever chow main bland spring onion like cardboard chicken dry and tasted off, beef and onion slimey and thick, chicken and mushroom very dry hard chicken and sweet and sour chicken batter undercooked with pink chicken. A waste of £25 there thrown the lot in the bin.
