KFC in Dover

Parking charges , disgraceful.i was specifically told by staff that there were no parking charge. I’ve just paid the fine . Do not use this KFC misleading parking policy

Very poor - watery gravy similar to what my dog produced this morning, (he wasn't very well first thing). Serious staffing issue with no explanation given but I think this explained the 32 minute wait for food to arrive. Toilets clearly not checked regularly. In future I'll stick to the Embassy Truck Cafe across the road. If you enjoy KFC like most of us you'll possibly be disappointed with this one - it's seriously crap, (in my opinion).

After enjoying a perfectly normal KFC meal with my mum, and leaving happy. I was then hit with a £100 fine for overstaying in the car park by 13 mins (you get 1 hour I now know). Most expensive KFC meal I've ever had, I'm never having KFC again.

For my personal visit, we just had a quick and easy takeaway for 2, and the food itself was standard and nothing to go nuts about. The staff seemed alright, however, could've been more friendly. The restaurant itself seemed clean, only one person in there at the time. Doubt I'll be back soon.

£100 parking fine for parking for 1 h and 12 mins. The car park was empty. Impossible to have a meal with a young family in that time

The whole experience was a shambles. Ordered party deal at drive through. Told will be done fresh so to wait in parking bay. Twenty minutes later still no food was busy in there so queued for another 15 minutes to be told they had dropped the order and had to be made again. No apology nothing 50 minutes of waiting with hungry children. Then to get home to find half the order in correct. Never again.

Please avoid at all costs! Food is really not worth the time or parking costs. By far the worst KFC I have ever been too. Still can’t get my head around the fact you are fined for their really slow service. Food took over thirty minutes to be ready and the restaurant kindly served me a £100 fine and our friend’s family the same for being over sixty minutes in their car park. I thought I could go into the restaurant and explain this was their fault and we had disabled children and wheelchairs to get in the car. They had the compassion of a gnat , area manager whom I suspect was the owner had the audacity to speak to his staff on the phone whilst I was there trying to appeal the fine to basically tell me to get lost. Beyond the worst management I’ve ever experienced! I will continue to fight for disabled customers. Please do not eat here unless you can finish your meal very quickly

Wednesday 27/03/24 The wait time for a simple order was outrageous 30 minutes wait no apologies for the wait and no food no 2/3 members of staff outside with a cigarette without caring about the customers inside waiting for food.

Been to this place a few times , and been let down again and again, but last night after my son was playing football at Baypoint, we decided in total desperation to have a KFC..waited about 10 mins, the cleaner had partitioned off the restaurant, so you could use only half off it. The cleaner went around the back a few times to see if there was any staff, but no one was available...what a place this is, never ever again...

I came here with a collegue to have a catch up, we both bought multiple items and had an okay time, to then get a letter through the post about a Parking Charge! Due to it being dusk on arrival we hadnt spotted the parking signs and our appeals got denied. DONT come here unless you are going to be in and out! Had to pay a £60 charge which is totally unacceptable... this is a discounted price from £100... (getting caught on double yellow lines in most places is only a £30ish charge) It would have been fair enough if the KFC was extremely busy but the car park was empty... and we were basically the only ones in there the whole time, it would have been nice for the staff to have said something. Parking: Only a 60-minute stay or a huge parking fine. Deffinatley wouldn't reccommend if eating in with a large family.

Called in here last night to grab something to eat for the family and quickly wished I hadn't bothered. Sat in the car park for about 10 minutes ordering on the App as that's apparently the only way you can use a Blue Light discount card now only to be told 6 times that the payment had failed. Eventually I resorted to doing it the old fashioned way and a member of staff, (presumably related as he kept calling me 'Bruv') sorted the issue and I got my meal along with the 10% discount. However... before leaving the car park I informed my long lost brother that I'd been charged a total of almost £250 to my credit card for the apparent 6 failed purchases. I've now got to waste time today sorting this which is very annoying. Also coupled with this my new sibling couldn't even get my order correct as I never did get my Christmas inspired stuffing burger meal. All in all another disappointing KFC experience, (I recently reviewed the one in Canterbury).

Food old dry and cold, we were both ill after eating there. Chicken either gone off or contaminated. Cold tiny portion of chips. They did not have coffee or tea machines operating asume too lazy to make it or clean the machines . Offered only chemical sweetener filled drinks. Manager needs a kick up the but as this is the worst KFC experience in 35 years . Never return to this kfc !

Food not good...i had a zinger burger which was very dry and had hardly any may and only a tiny bit of lettuce. My husbad ordered a 2 piece meal...a tiny amount of chips with 2 chicken drumsticks ( thought you got 1 thigh 1 drumstick and a side of beans hitter than the sun !..wont be returning !

I've just had the driest box meal I've ever had in 40years. The place isn't busy enough so chicken is just left out too long and drys out. Won't be going here again

Problems everytime I have visited or tried to order from here, from missing items to terrible customer service. I have final decided to not bother ever again

Miserable staff threw order on the table. Two members of staff laughing at an sweet lonely old man struggling to open his drink

Just had the worst KFC ever. Very expensive, horrible chips which were cold!! 6 tiny pieces of chicken which didn't taste like KFC. They must have changed their recipe. We will never go again. Shame as we loved KFC. It will be maccy D's from now on. If KFC think they are cutting corners to make money they are mistaken as they have lost two customers as of today and we will tell our friends and family not to go there as its terrible now!!!!!.

We ordered 6 pieces of chicken, two fries and two gravy pots. It was over £16! The chicken pieces were tiny and the flavour has changed. The chips were dreadful and cold. Absolutely dreadful meal. We will NEVER have KFC again. What happened to bargain buckets that were full of delicious chicken? What a disappointment.

I appreciate that this is only a fast food restaurant but the staff were overtly miserable and downright rude. Absolutely no excuse for such behaviour. Other staff were spraying cleaning products on tables right beside us as we ate, which was extremely unpleasant, and one then dragged an unsealed bin bag full of rubbish past our table whilst we ate - literally a few inches away. This was totally unacceptable. Other staff were taking breaks and smoking on the tables outside the front. The place also had a very strange and unpleasant smell. To cap the experience off the food portions were tiny - although the handful of chips we had from our "large" portion were fresh and tasty (and the gravy was nice). It is also unfortunately no longer a cheap option to eat out, especially given the meagre portion sizes. Overall an extremely disappointing experience - we certainly won't be back.

Take away or would have sent it back.The wings were so dry, several were inedible. The advert shows a chap biting into crunchy coating, this was soggy. Don’t live far food was still piping hot. Sweetcorn corn was watery and tasted days old. Chips were good for me as I like them soggy, husband likes crispy, which they weren’t. Saving Grace was gravy. The front of house staff are very hard working and polite.

Got the Tuesday special at the drive thru. When we got it home the seven regular pieces were supplemented with two scrawny chicken wings. Definitely won't be going back.
