Great kebabs and service, among the tastiest Donna meat I’ve had and I’ve had quite a few in London, their Chilli sauce is tasty, next time I’m in Dover I’ll be paying them a visit

We ordered two chicken kebabs, the meat was old and smelly. After paying attention, new kebabs were prepared for us, one used freshly cut meat, the other used fresh meat and bain-marie meat. The bain-marie meat was a strange color and stinked. I definitely don't recommend it

This place needs to up date it's menu boards. I had ordered my food then my husband tried to order his. He asked for fish as it was on board and was told we don't sell it now. So then tried asking for scampi and was told we don't sell that anymore so then asked for a burger and told not got any left. I cancelled my order then and we went home to beans on toast. Would never go back

Nice kebabs. Stays open late as well. Anyone who goes to a kebab house wanting a burger is mad Its a Kebab house. Go to burger king if you want a burger. People who moan about delivery times should get of their fat butts and travel there. Then you dont need to wait long. Jeez.

The worst burger and chips I've ever had. Meat was akin to a microwave burger, hard and rubbery, chips were supposed to have cheese. Didn't...and were solid and dry. Never thrown a meal away in my life but this went in the bin after a few bites.

We have been devoted customers for years. This store has always been our goto for a good meal. But tonight we waited about 2 hours for our meal. They did rectify it by giving us a bottle of wine. Would we use dolphin again? Yes but not for a while.

Had a late evening kebab as we had a busy day. We always use dolphin but this was terrible. I wouldn’t write a bad review but they are not answering the phone. We ordered 2 large mixed lamb donner with chicken kebabs. Nothing large about that. Would usually get plenty of chicken but got minimal. Chicken was hard and seemed reheated. Not happy at all. They know we are loyal customers but will definitely be trying elsewhere.

Just bought a pizza and chicken shish kebab. They were both absolutely disgusting. The chicken was gristly and had a really weird taste to it, almost chemically. The pizza was tasteless and ingredients very cheap and nasty. We won't use again and I wouldn't recommend to anyone else.

These boys will cook your meal the way you want t it cooked. There food is second to none a.d customer service is unreal

Disgusting. There was floating oil in the bottom of the container and the food had a funny taste. I won't visit again.

Our order was delivered Hot, and wrapped up in tin foil. Our food was absolutely delicious, and we enjoyed every bite. The Best Kebab House in town.

Kurdish chef was very friendly and treated us nicely. I ordered 12 inch pizza, and it was so delicious. I would highly recommend the food.

Just had a delicious chicken kebab, with all the salad . I had garlic sauce on mine. My other half had garlic AND chilli sauce. We both thoroughly enjoyed it. Good price aswell. Didn't want chips, wasn't that hungry but I know they do decent chips.

Said on the menu they do fish and scampi which my husband wanted either one of. Turns out that they sell neither. I asked why advertising which reply because he wants to . Walked out

Been using here for 20 years plus until a year ago we had 7 meals and 5 out of 7 of us had food poisoning not gonna describe it you know how it goes. Gone right down hill. They always make you wit even if you called your order in an hour ago still wait 20mins when go to get it. Gone right of the place shame

Ordered 3 kebab meals 2 weeks ago and the meat came burnt and crunchy , thought I’d give it another go ordered the same today and came even worse then before , black and dry so I rang up and asked to for them to send the 1 meal that was burnt and then they sent me a new one and made me make my own food with garlic sauce and lettuce

Order went through at 19:02 this evening and the food wasn't received until 20:50. Although the food was tasty and well cooked I was a little disappointed with the overall waiting time. Does anyone know if you can actually get a partial refund from this place? I registered with food hub like it said but it was pointless. I appreciate the fact they've been extremely busy today, if that was the case a message on the website would have been ideal stating busy and expect delays if ordering for a delivery.

Great takeaway. Does not accept card, however cash point outside and the charge from the cash point was taken off by the server. Just what I needed. Nice big dirty kebab 😁

Ordered a takeout, was always really good years ago. Received part of order, rang restaurant, told the rest on the way, waited 45 minutes for cold food to arrive, no offer of discount etc, avoid avoid avoid. London kebab best in dover at the moment.

Used to use often, but sadly the last several times have been very poor quality. Won't be using again.

Food took two hours to arrive and when it came it wasn’t worth the wait. Called the restaurant and asked how long it was going to be to be told “I’m not the delivery driver how should I know” and the phone put down on me

Been going here for some 4 years + best large lamb shish and lamb donner with separate salad and extra chilli sauce.Thats why I travel from Deal once a week

Good staff I've been going there for years , but unfortunately they lost touch of focus. I have ordered from there 3 times now and always give me different meat . I ask for sauce and salad and only give me sauce . Delivery driver took order to different address opposite side of town and when arrived told me to come find him in car park ? On top of that he had his mates in car all loud laughing wont stop . Very disappointed .

Took 3 hours for food to be delivered, was all stone cold when it finally arrived and just flavourless. Phoned up about half way through the wait to be told they had been overwhelmed with orders.. don't accept so many of them out of greed for the money then I say. Quality of food is more important and due to that, we will not be returning. Also, a replacement of a fruit shoot on a children's meal was a full sugar Pepsi with no mention on arrival or apology for not being given our chosen drink.

Order very late, but I will say the food was worth the wait. Just as I finished my meal an email and text message came through requesting and confirming an order I certainly did not put through.! The girl working was patronising as calling me darlin all the time, you don't address customers like that.

If you love consistently terrible food, this may be your favourite place to eat/order from.

Order here once a month or so. Have been late a few times, but not a massive issue. Tonight we ordered around 19.25, for a delivery 8.05-8.25. No food arrived my 8.45, so called to enquire. Food then arrived at 9.15pm, to find out 1 of the food items was completely wrong (wrong meat and salad option). Rung up again, to explain they have the order wrong and they resent the order again. Arrived 9.50pm.... and arrived wrong again. If you want your correct order, and within a decent time then i wouldnt bother ordering here.

These guys are always fantastic, built a great rapport them over the years. Couple times out of hundreds that the odd item or two might be missed- easily forgiven since the team are so polite and apologetic. Beautiful burgers Succulent chicken Killer kebabs Chips are almost always spot on too! Very good prices and never kept waiting. Look forward to coming back again soon, thanks guys :)

Every time we order it turns up wrong, it’s happened on more then one occasion, not acceptable at all. Don’t not recommend at all Never will I order from them again they have lost a good customer !!!

Kebabs was tasty,maybe could be little bit warmer. Portions big enough.

An amazing takeaway service with nice food. Although sometimes the food is a bit late and some bits are missing which happens to almost every takeaway service. Always impressed with the quality as I order almost every week.

Would rate less if I could, had to wait 2 hours for delivery. Finally came, there was a handful of manky salad, thin pitta bread. Rang the restaurant, spoke to the lady dealing with delivery, she apologised and offered some free salad with my next purchase. Whilst speaking to her, she explained the situation to the cooks, I could here the guys laughing about my phone call!!! Disgusting!!

Worse experience every. Ordered 3 kebabs & cheesy chips. Waited over 1 hour 40 mins for our food. Missing 1 kebab & cheesy chips. Kept calling the restaurant 3 times to see where was our kebab & cheesy chips. Lady who was dealing the phone calls for delivery kepy saying it is on it way. Waited over 2 hours for our food. called them on the 3rd time and they didn't know nothing about it, well the lady didn't. Finally the kebab arrived at nearly by midnight & cheesy chips. Never ordering from them again. Hardly any cheese on the chips, must be saving on the cheese. Worse delivery service every.

Do you not buy from this people they telling you there's a 40 min wait after 2 hours and half still hasn't turned up with my order every time ill ring them they say that they on the why ... don't buy anything

Ordered online for collection saying 20 minutes, when I arrived I had to wait half an hour. But when it came to eating it, it was the best kebab I have eaten in a long time 👍

Unfortunately not good service tonight 😥 Not had a kebab in while so was really looking forward to our take away tonight. But very disappointed when told would be 30/40 mins and then it took over an hour. Then had rude staff when I called to chase, being told "well I didn't tell you that, it's because we are busy its Friday night " was then passed over to the person who took my order. Then to top it off they sent the wrong order. One unhappy customer

Good kebab but seem to have changed their chilli sauce and not for the better.

The kebabs were extremely greasy, the 2 burger meals which included chips and drink were missing their chips so had to phone up and sort out and took ages for delivery. Will defo be trying else where.

I ordered online via the Dolphin website, food arrived quickly and hot. Lovely lamb kebab with fresh crisp salad. The lamb donner wrap was also very good really filling.

The last 2 occasions have been dire, for some reason the person who takes the orders or making the food doesn’t know the difference between Chili peppers and chilli sauce. Both of the meals i ordered were completely void of chilli peppers and covered in chilli sauce. The pitta was so stale it’s was chewy and was inedible. The last two occasions the portions sizes have been very small compared to other meals. How can you guys think people won’t notice, do you think people are stupid? When I order a large meal that’s what I expect and for the meal to be correct. It’s ridiculous that you are pulling this stunt in a pandemic and for a job you do every day how can you get things so wrong? I don’t owe you a living you know? Someone who is working there is completely ruining your business, I suggest you get rid of them!!! Won’t be using again. Very disappointed

Dolphin kebab is normally ok!, but on this occasion It was just Vile!! The grease/Fat had saturated the paper the kebabs were wrapped in! So you can just imagine how much was in the box. I had to stuff poly roll around the kebab yo absorb all the grease! & changed it twice before I could eat the donner meat! If it Weren't for the fact I was starving I would have launched it!!! Love kebabs & normally love Dolphin! But this was just vile & I will not use this place again & do not recommend as I normally would! Try somewhere else peeps!! So gutted, was looking forward to it!! Better to go in there and wait for an order than get it delivered, delivery takes a while which affects the quality, at least you get it warm on collection which I’ve found out a couple of times now. Foods great apart from that, people are friendly!

Took my autistic brother Delil to this amazing kebab shop, I must say I don't think I've had a better doner kebab in my whole entire life, my autistic brother Delil really enjoyed it and when he got sauce on his face the workers wiped it off with a tissue, that was really nice. I will definitely be coming back thanks for the wonderful experience smiley face

chips are wet and green. chicken nuggets are unedible and burger was spilling out the box. STAY AWAY

Lovely kebabs but twice in a row now I’ve got home and found only half the kebab I requested in the bag - I’m paying for a combination one then just get a shish! Shame - recommend you watch when they’re putting it together!

I have put an online order in 50 mins ago, I have just called them to chase it and I was told it will be another 5 - 10 mins as it is just being made.... poor very poor ..... no appologoy.. All I was told was delivery is 45 mins bit they didn't say much when I told them there was a countdown timer online so I know how long it's been ...

Had meduim donner and Was up all night with upset stomach AVOID!will also be reporting this to health authorities.

I needed to wait LONG for the pizza. The staff was very nice though, they explained about the problem they had with the oven, and gave me 4,20 GBP discount (5 GBP instead of 9,20), which is very nice and fair. But to stick to the pizza quality, well, it was fine, but a bit of lack of taste. Nice staff though, and not a bad place, but definitely not above average either.

We found the staff to be friendly & helpful, premises clean with a couple of tables inside though primarily a takeaway. Perhaps because we were eating in we got a large serving for a reasonable price, 2 kebabs for GBP 12. If I was a local I would go back.

Ordered two medium chicken kebabs , piled up with salad when arrived 47 minutes later, always been good from here which says a lot in Dover. UNTIL NOW !!!! Chicken under the salad was charcoal , burnt to a cinder . And to top that we ate what we could as to late to get anything else and spent Friday night/ sat morning taking it in turns with the toilet. I work away so the only thing we both ate that day was the kebabs , Wasted both our whole weekend feeling ill NEVER AGAIN

Ordered 2 chicken kebabs medium Friday 15th June Came and had lots of salad on the top , know I know why ! Chicken was charcoal when you get through the salad . To top that both my partner and I spent all day Saturday from early hours going to and fro the toilet ! As I work away from home this is the only thing we ate the same . Both not well all weekend . Once bitten twice shy , never again . They have lost our custom .

Ordered 4 kebabs for a family takeaway at 6.10pm. Reply back was that delivery would be 45mins. An hour later we called them to be told it had left the shop for delivery. 30mins later the delivery man turned up, we asked him when did he leave the shop he said "10 minutes ago". So we was lied to as well as given tasteless, cold and overpriced kebabs. We won't be using Dolphin again!

Went in this place last night ordered two kebabs. Made two transactions with my debit card and they refused serve me any food saying 'the transaction did not work'. Not what my bank statements and reciept said.

Bad customer service the man behind the phone was very Rude.

Do not go to this take away. I ordered food at 645 pm and even though making 4 phone calls I did not receive my food despite the woman on the phone telling me each time that it was on its way each time. Stay away from this place as you won't receive your order. Absolutely disgusted in this place.

Before I have left a 5 start review for these guys as they were inceredible with the quality of food and delivery times. What a change now. The chips are awful, hard and without taste and they cannot get an order right!! Wrong order delivered, called and advised of the mistake. 45 minutes for the amended order and guess what? Worse mistake than the first. Called again and was told it was my error!!! Will never use again after 15 years of loyal patrionage.

I went on my break to get food from dolphin kebab. The guy was in a kitchen with someone on phone he came out says to me 5 min please i said ok I literally waited 10 mins and he was comfortably talking with someone on phone. I call him twice hello excuse me but no answer i left shop with even giving my order. Totally disrespectful service

Have used a lot of kebab shops since I moved to Dover but this is the best. Good choice, they will customise (I like kofte with a small amount of doner and there has never been any hassle) and although they usually say 30-40 minutes its there in about 20!! Salad is fresh, you get massive amount of chips and they store your telephone number so they can recognise you if you ring again.

brilliant service and the food is great! always fresh, and IF any complaints, (due to mix ups) its dealt with immediately. well done keep it up. best kebab in Dover . YUM
