this is a clean location with good parking; That is it. The staff walks by people when they are waiting to place orders. Now I ordered a new Chicken sandwich which is advertised on your web site and on TV as $3.99 but when you drive up it is marked $4.99 and that is what you are charged. Why? The sandwich itself is not bad. It is the service that kills the taste. No discount for Vets or Sr.Citizens. All the other placed do it. Never a smile. Work is very slow. The soft drinks are priced higher than the compatition. so get your staff in line and the place will be better.

Me and my husband came, and as we passing by the tables it's all dirty, not busy coz only us the customer inside, first I think they should wear face mask, and they are very chatty and loud while preparing our foods, second they should watch out the tables and clean it not standing in the corner chatting and laughing out loud. Third when my brother as one of the girl infront she dont mind my brother asking for cutlery so one girl from the back help my bro. I'm very disappointed on the team and poor hygiene.

To put what you have actually ordered and paid for into the bag. Check before you leave. Twice I have paid for extra chips and not got them. The "new" chips are indeed awful compared to the old. The biggest problem with this place is lack of consistency in the quality of the product. It can be great but unfortunately more often han not it's poor as is reflected in the fact the biggest number of reviews are in the terrible category. In most cases that would mean the place goes out of business. Maybe KFC should review the franchise unless they actually own it in which case it needs much improved management.

Ordered a family bucket at drive through about 8.30pm. Was told they would need to cook chicken as 14 pieces and would be about 12 minutes park up qnd we'll bring it out. No problem at all, at least hot and fresh. Waited about 25 minutes before going inside and asking, then they appeared to be rushing to try and bag up, i think they had somehow forgotten about the order although no idea how when the place was near on empty. Got back and what a disappointment, the absolutely tiniest pieces of chicken, one so much you get as much on the drumstick shaped hot wing and the chip bags not even half full. Won't go again in a hurry.

Quick friendly service! We were only in there 4 mins and then walked out with our food! Pretty impressive! When we got home, food was still hot! Unfortunately I have to say the new style chips are not good!! Bring back the old style crispy chips!! KfC, your new chips are not crispy or tasty at all!!

Called for a quick tea food cold did replace some of the order but felt as if they couldn't care less what they served

By definition KFCs are not always operating to the same high standards. I can say that this one is and it reflects in the attitude of staff and that affects the chances of repeat custom. This KFC gets lots of repeat custom. If you prefer a specific type of chicken then just ask and if they have it ready then they will look after you. A really good service.

Eaten here few times and every single time items missing from order once home! Food nearly always cold n chicken watery. After a few bad or wrong meals i wont be going back.

If you get a take out option it seems the norm that the size of the chips portion is very small. This is based on the fact you have driven home to find 12 chips in a bag and it is a waste of time driving back. Maybe this is KFC policy to save money. Portions when you eat in are always bigger.

Like other reviewers this place is an utter disgrace. I promised myself not to go back last time but thought I'd give it another try. Both drinks flat and sickly. Both Burritos just thrown together and folded with two scabby pieces of chicken and a sprinkling if rice. The girl at the drive through point handed me the large bag of food for the people behind and I had to tell them the bucket wasn't mine. I wish I'd taken it now. The ice cream machine still isn't working after months of asking. So.. My money and custom now goes to the KFC at J39.

Poor, slow service. Chips were very dry and crispy so they have been left out for a while. The chicken tasted poor, very bad quality all round. I love KFC but a lot of improvements are required at this one, it does nit follow usual standard.

Wel what a disaster , no gravy , I mean common man no gravy at KFC that's a kick in balls just to start with had to get beans 😞 , carried on got to the drive threw window asked for Mayo and BBQ and they had non of that aswell had to get bog standard ketchup Proper put a downer on my day Over and out

The KFC has a nice atmosphere but the staff are borderline useless, it takes them around 15 minutes per order. We was there and ordered three zinger tower meals during the 20 minute waiting time, Four other customers who had already been served returned the orders either due to getting the wrong items or the food been poor. Please avoid the durkar store and go directly to the wakefield store much better!

Save your money and go elsewhere. Second time running been fleeced on a bargain bucket. Of the 6 pieces, 4 were dry wings joints and 2 very dry breasts. Currently in the dustbin. Drive thro always a lottery. Sort it out

I should have learnt from previous visits to this branch - they have an uncanny ability to take your order, charge you for it and then miss off a percentage of the order

Went for lunch service fast and polite staff got a snack box £1.99 contained enough chips for two and a chicken breast good value

Food at this KFC is consistently good. Staff are on the ball and service is quick. Everything a KFC should be!

We came in waited in a cue for 10 mins ment to be fast food there was chicken all over the floor they always mess are order up there's never a manger there so terrible do not go to the one at durker so bad the food is cold sometimes really really bad

Great if you are in a rush as there is a drive thro. All chicken dishes are delicious and several meal deals. Great value good service

After several visits to this restuarant with very poor experiences, I can report that the service today has been very good. Customer focused and very prompt service deivery.

Sadly, this restuarant has not improved at all over the last couple of months.The food is warm at best, but, the customer service is extremely poor. Disinterested staff just walking around instead of serving customers, leading to massive queues several times a day. Eat elsewhere until this place improves.

Ate here early evening, floor, tables and toilets all obviously in need of cleaning.Staff unhelpful and uninterested in customer service. Food lukewarm, tables cluttered with previous diners litter.The place is just ticking over with little or no management.

My family and i visited here on a Saturday lunchtime. The staff were rude when I was trying to make a meal choice. There were no fizzy drinks available either. The food was warm (ish) at best. The "restaurant" was in need of a good tidy up, let alone a deep clean.The toilets were disgusting with no soap and a large puddle around the urinal. I'm sure you can imagine the smell!? I will not be visiting this poor excuse of a "restaurant" again - there is a new KFC that has recently opened at the side of J39 that shows this dump up for what it is.

We often visit KFC on Ings road business Park. For the last few weeks they have introduced a new line. It consisted of small bites of chicken in a choice of two sauces. Smoky barbecue or chilly, Out of the last six visits we only managed to get this meal twice. It was so popular that they sold out regularly. On Saturday 28th August we decided to call in KFC only to be told that it had been a promotion for a few weeks and had now been discontinued!!!why finish selling something that had obviously been popular???

Lots of staff milling around, but very little service to the large queue of customers. No one appeared interested.

Had seen the adverts for the Take 5 for £3 so decided to give it a try so I asked what I could have with this offer so made my choices and was then told they wanted best part of £8 off me so how does that work?Feeling duped but still hungry I opted for a £1.99 popcorn chicken snack box but was most annoyed that there was hardly any chicken in the box and the fries were clap cold.What a let down I would not advise anybody to visit this branch.The car park was also full of litter the whole placed looked uncared for.Advise to management you need to up your game.Regards

Everything cold! No salt or napkins given and the hot wings were not edible! Customer service is something this store really needs to work on! Not a word off the man who presented my order.

KFC is what it is - a fast food joint!The service was quick and polite, with a short wait for the food.The table was clean although the floor a bit untidy.The food was as expected so was not disappointed! The parking outside is adequate.

Just off junction 39 this has to be the worst kfc I have been in, have picked up orders from inside to take home twice and both times have had items missing, likewise on the drive through. Went in again to take away this Saturday and watched with no surprise as customers in front of me were served orders with items missing, wrong sized drinks, refunded for hot drinks due to machine being out of operation for cleaning. This outlet is a joke,always plenty of staff but no one seems to have a clue. My order was unbelibabley correct but I have seen enough, last visit for me it's better to drive to the other kfc on Ings Road retail park.

All very usual KFC in terms of choice/service/location, however, everything appeared unsalted, we ordered 2 meals AND fries missing from one of the "meals" , couldn't be bothered to drive back obviously. We also had to park up to wait for fries, staff really pleasant - but missing food and all a bit tasteless - hence "poor" review

We always love a KFC but it just seem to be every time I visit this drive through my order is always wrong .we love a good kfc just check your order before you leave.

Not the best outlet, chips limp and unsalted and greasy tasting. Chicken small and very salty. Won't be rushing back.

Went to KFC Wakefield Retail park Which is now subject to a Halal trial. Food was disgusting batter was Crap. nothing like colonel Sanders original. A 6 piece bargain bucket turned out to be a 5 piece and a chicken wing The food was something like you would get from a cheap crappy Curry house takeaway. Complained to KFC head office and guess what..... I get a voucher for ANOTHER crappy KFC. Take a tip and eat elsewhere

Conveniently located near the M1 exit, quick satisfactory food. Ideal for quick meal. Family friendly diner. A bit loud but not too much of a problem

After waiting in the drive through for at least 15 minutes we were told our food was going to take at least another 5 mins to make. Chips looked like they had been cooked days ago and the fillet burgers just had 2 small pieces of chicken in instead of the usual 1 larger fillet. Lettuce in the burger was old and wet, burger looked like a toddler had put it together. Not enough staff and not enough decent standard food. Will go to miggy next time.

Ordered the "10 piece family feast bucket" for a family gathering snack as I am visiting the UK from the Dominican Republic. It is a rare treat for myself to have a KFC and was so much looking forward to it. After this experience and if this is the standards that KFC is now working to then I will never cross their door step again. It tasted like old chicken that had been reheated and talking about the famous recipe I think Colonel Sanders would be very displeased with having his good reputation associated with this Restaurant. This was not a KFC and I feel ripped off for being charged for what I expected and receiving this garbage. I post reports based on my experience and have under stated my own and my family's feelings regarding this meal.

Staff put something in my drink of tea and the chicken was over cooked and inedible never going back to KFC angain put me off for the rest of my life if they do that in Wakefield what is to say they do not do it throughout the francise

Popped in for a carry out meal as my wife had never had KFC & I Iove it. Or, at least, I used to love it.Cold fries, colder staff, broken bones & dry chicken in soggy batter. I'll go to Barnsley next time.

Cold wrap, poorly all night not had anything else prior ,,,,,,needed sauce and asked going through the drive through, response was " yes all in bottom of bag " ????which bag ???? Not mine ??? Not again

Called at KFC for tea excellent food will call again value very good.the seating area was very clean tables kept clean service very quick and friendly

I've used this place now 4 times and each time the cooking is different. Out of the 4 experiences only one got my vote. I've decided enough is enough and I'm not going back there any more.

I love KFC. my little daughter goes mad for chicken nuggets and so does my husband. you know what to expect and it is always tasty chicken.

Is it me, or is this chicken getting smaller by the week? The portion sizes at this place are beyond a joke! The prices get ever higher, the quality ever lower at this place. I ordered a ten piece bucket which in the good ole days would be spilling out of the top. Not this time, you could have put twenty pieces in there and still got the lid on!!!! Most of the scraps were amounted to a wing with a scrawny bit of meat hanging off topped off with a few legs which could have been from a sparrow they were so scrawny. Needless to say, I won't come to this particular rip off joint again

Had a meal and a crushem and can honestly say it was lovely, the staff were friendly and the service at the drive through were very quick. Definitely would recommend you can't beat it, it's tasty and great value for money

If you're after a snap shot of the Merry City's ethnically diverse, great unwashed dining together in one establishment then look no further.As with any 'restaurant' as these places label themselves on the retail park, you are usually greeted by rows of neaveau riche chavs in their pretentious motors and pubescent teenagers in their rides clad with tacky vehicle accessories parked outside. anything above a Vauxhall Corsa looks like a new filling in a mouth full of rotten teeth. So, in we go. You are greeted by the great unwashed who hath decendeth from their domains in order to splash their hard earned giros (or ill gotten gains) on cheap and nasty southern fried chicken. The scene reminiscent of a heard of bison at a serangeti watering hole. I don't know what smells worse, them or the food if I'm honest.As you've probably already gathered, I do not and never intended to write a review on the food. What's the point? After all it is a well established chain where if you haven't heard of them or tasted the produce then you must have been living in Hans Fritz' cellar all your life.And finally the staff. Whilst I'd rather have young kids working for the minimum wage rather than swigging White Lightning in Lupset park, they could at least look interested. Collectively they look akin to a bag of mishapes from Wakey market.Whilst it doesn't exactly replicate Broken Britain, it does leave you with the impression that Wakefield is a steaming pile of dog excrement with a plastic straw and a chicken bone planted on the top.

K.F.C., is a place where you know what you will be getting! We have eaten in them in various parts of the country, they are all most consistent in what you get.! End up with sticky fingers too!!

The chicken was a small piece and very dry I think it must have been left on the tray for hours it should have gone in the bin, not palmed off on some drive through customer who wouldnt be able to see what they were getting until it was too late to complain.

great location and can drive through. I love kfc and the staff are very friendly. Whwn i fancy fast food this is is the place for me. my teens also visit regularly to enjoy the boneless bucket especially as it is near to cineworld.

They could not meet my order although it was advertised, no alternative was offered by the manager who was extremely rude, I won't be going back and I intend telling everyone I meet how bad this place is!

My favorite is the boneless box meal. with a large tea, whatever your age KFC has food to suit all ages

Not a bad KFC at all as I've been in a lot worse. It's very clean & tidy. Staff are helpful, although they've occasionally messed our order up, it's been easily rectified & they've been apologetic.

I couldn't get any better than this. It is quite filling but that's just how much your body can take. The chicken is fab! I don't like curry sauce from anywhere else but here ! Just go to KFC, But the chips are not as nice :P

The chicken is as you'd expect of any KFC (i.e. tasty but you feel guilty about going), the clientele are a bit chavvy, and someone once tried to steal my phone in here. On the plus side, it is open late!

Easy to find, quick and easy food for a night ahead

I took my boyfriend here and we had such a romantic time. We stared into each other eyes over the boneless banquet. I tell you, tonight I won't be "boneless" ;) A great place for couples, thats for sure.
