KFC in Dover

Stopped off on the way home after a long journey. We ordered a boneless bucket meal with a burgermeal and a wrap meal. The chips were cold and soggy and the chicken strips had obviously been reheated. It was possibly the worst KFC meal l have ever eaten. I then ventured into the toilets which were very smelly as is they hadnt been properly cleaned in months! This KFC is definately one to avoid!

Came in with friends food was bad ants everywhere staff staff were rude, refused refund and didn’t want the cast of bugs life with my food

Ants all over the walls and the food and on our table that we sat down on as it seemed the cleanest and when we went to have this sorted our food was cleared away by a member of staff then they denied touching it

I went here yesterday and ordered a 10 piece family feast as well as other items. I live 10 miles away and when I got home found that I had 6 pieces of very soft chicken crammed into a bag. I went into the store and queued specifically to request 2 breast pieces and got none. I have tried calling the store and they will not answer. Do not use them! If you are the manager you should contact me or provide your head office details online!

My God. You would think I would have learnt my lesson from the last visit over a year ago. Food still burnt and rubbish. Chicken fillet meal….burnt, tiniest bit of mayo ever and 3, yes you read that right, 3 tiny pieces of lettuce. I know there is a lettuce issue in the UK but that just took the mick. Roll was bone dry and stone cold at the bottom. Chips….looked like they had been over cooked until you tried them…they were hard. Rock hard. No amount of free salt made them edible. Then the popcorn chicken…..the dogs ate that. Dry and tasteless. Whitfield KFC. Sort yourself out. Your reviews are shocking. That should at least be an incentive to improve your food. No wonder your McMates round the corner always have a queue of cars waiting for food because there food is spot on. Yours is not. I’m surprised you still have any customers.

Their prices seem to have gone up which seems like everywhere is the same, however when they changed their chips a few years ago I much preferred them, I visited them today and they didn’t seem to know what they were doing and to be honest, I had chicken in a roll and chips, the chicken was slightly over cooked but I don’t mind it like that, however the chips were disgusting, probably the worst I’ve had so hence I will not be returning 😤😤😤

1st visit here & last the young girl taking orders was very polite but useless as didn't seem to know or understand the menu my order was 2 tower burgers & a boneless box for 1, I got 1Tower burger & colonels meal for 1 so 1 of the kids had to wait for their food while others tucking in, the food itself was tasteless & the side order of gravy had been watered down to a thin drippy again tasteless liquid I asked for no ice in drinks request was ignored & 2 of us ended up spilling drinks over ourselves as lids not put on properly my chicken was dry & chips tasted and like cardboard.As I said in beginning 1st & last visit & definitely no recommendations.1 last thing the carpark is so badly designed the drive through customers have to queue right through middle so when busy the people using restaurant are either blocked in or out

My first time for 20 years of eating kfc..never again..chips and chicken both undercooked aargh..there was nothing to like at all

Gave it another go after being so disappointed in past, they constantly get the order wrong, after asking 3 times that the order was correct, got it home ,wrong, chips were nasty again and ended up the bin again, even Mcdonald s r better than this, , kfc need to sort this out, I'm not on my own saying this, rubbish sort it out

Visited to collect an order I had placed via the mobile app. When I arrived the two disabled bay had Just eat delivery drivers cat parked in them. And a third cat parked on the double yellow hatched area which is meant to be no parking. On entering the screen stated my order was ready for collection. So I waited, and I waited and I waited some more. While all three delivery driver collected their orders as mine sat on the side gathering dust. Then another two delivery drivers turned up and lo and behold they got their orders and yet I'm still standing there. Not even acknowledged by the staff that were to busy arguing between themselves. By now my order had disappeared from the screen. When finally a member of staff spoke to me she just barked "order number" at at as if I was causing an inconvenience to her! Finally I received my order, no word spoken by the staff member it was just dumped on the counter Infront of me. And they immediately turned away and started on the next order. Unbelievably rude and unprofessional. Will definitely not be going there again.

Abismal. Rude staff. Overworked caring for drive through. Stood a counter 7 minutes without any one of staff acknowledging my presence. Asked if I could place order. Told to wait.... No please just WAIT!! asked for 4 piece boneless bucket, got 3 charges for 4. Don't even bother, go down to Dover

I agree that this must be the worst KFC in England. I ordered a three piece meal, I opened the bag and it had three chicken drumsticks. I ordered a BBQ wrap and got a spicy one instead. It's the third time in a row they have got the order wrong ! Very very poor. The manager should spend some time at other branches to see how they should be run.

Avoid soon as you walk through the door the odour of oil not pleasant. I queued up and waited to be served the wrong food I paid . I left it there did not bother asking for my money back

Not once have they managed to get my order correct. After 3 or 4 visits of this happening I now have to check my order at the counter by removing each item and checking against my receipt. I then inform.them of what is missing. Shocking!

I am disgusted in the fact that multiple times my Mum asked for BONELESS chicken and they didn’t seem to understand so she kept saying no bones! What did she get? BONES!! I think it’s very unacceptable the fact that it could have been given to a child and there for could have been a chocking hazard! I think they need to work on there customer service and understanding what customers actually want! No wonder it’s always so quiet there. DON’T recommend!!

My husband and I went into the restaurant to order a take out. After showing that our order was ready for collection, we were then told we had to wait 15 minutes for chicken to be cooked as our order had disappeared from the screen. When we were finally given our order, the bag broke and our food fell all over the floor. Instead of helping, the staff stood and watched. 5 star customer service NOT!!

The chips were warm, not hot, and manky, and the chicken was dripping in oil. I won’t be returning or recommending

Entered an empty restaurant,which should have set the alarm bells ringing?The poor girl behind the counter was frantically trying to fill an order, but the cook(and I use that word grudgingly)and some of the other staff were arguing about something in 'Urdu' or 'Nepalese'? She took my order but I spotted some disgusting looking chips on a serving tray which I assumed were over cooked or they had been there too long?When I received my order and checked the chips; they were all disgusting looking and although they tasted ok, my wife refused to eat them, but promised to phone for an ambulance if I fell ill (that was good of her?) !Having spoken to friends who have eaten at KFC recently; they have all said that the chips are the same at all KFC outlets and apparently very unpopular (can't think why?).My advice to you: go to MacDonalds; their chips and their chicken strips are nicer!

Pulled up to go through the drive through... the person in the speaker was so unhappy (maybe a long day but I was quite taken back by this fact).My partner and I both ordered a snack box to have on the go but I ended up going back through the drive through because my box had half the amount of food than his and it was ALL cold food?!The service itself would have been pretty good because the process of ordering was so fast! By the time I got to the pay window, I was handed my change and the food straight away... but now I know why. The food had clearly just been sat there waiting for a sucker to leave with.I asked for a replacement and was met with a grunt and a frown, no apology or actually any words at all... and then just got told to park in a “grill bay”. Food upon arrival was hotter and was thrust into my car window without any words.I have made maybe 30 trips to this Whitefield franchise since it has opened and have had about 10 of those experiences with extremely rude, unwelcoming, unhappy and overall miserable staff but this time I have had enough!If you don’t want to be there but have to be... why show the customers? Now I don’t want to be there either. Thoroughly unimpressed, will deffinetly avoid in the future.

Hmm much to be desired depending what you order. Twister wrap...yes ,salad No nothing inside except mashed up mayo and red onion. Am I missing something??? Chicken burger inside cut in half....is thus how it is presented or a cannot be asked to cook the crunchy chicken that goes inside???come on chef you are not selling it to me. Smiling front reception staff. Polite and considerate.... KFC you are not doing it for me.

This one is on an industrial estate right next door to B&M. Lots of parking outside and also a drive though. Once inside you can go to the counter or use the self service system, touch screen. Didn’t wait too long for food and all was correct Place was clean, and so were the toilets.

Disabled parking right outside, just a few steps from the door. Clean and nice staff. Food hot and zero drinks available. Not sure I like the fatter chips, I liked the thin fries better. Also a drive through available.

We've just had to return our food because the chips were disgustingly greasy, and there was only 7 pieces of chicken in a 10 piece bucket! Had to go all the way back as they wouldn't answer the phone! So angry at their attitude.

Unfortunately it is all about the food !I will not be returning here again. The Dover market square branch is considerably better managed.

Walked in the aroma wasn’t pleasant ordered food , the food wasn’t appetising at all infact it put me off KFC which I liked alot, it took this place to put me right off never again.

we very often dine at lunch time, but since the restart after the chicken shortage we found the seattle cappuccino is nothing like it should be in fact i returned it twice but was still nasty nothing like it should be and i drink a lot of coffee so i should know this place needs a good shake up i dont think i will be returning there any time soon

Well don't go to KFC if you want the bargain buckets with a bottle of drink. As they only have PEPSI!! Ordered 2 sides 1 beans and 1 cob and got 2 beans. Food cold!!! Totally disgruntled

my takeaway had no chips second time this happend!!!! Last time it was a 3 pice box meal this time it was a banquet...

We popped into KFC about 6pm after a great afternoon rollersksting only to find that there was hardly any chicken dishes due to what they said was supplier difficulties. However they were also out of Ketchup, Salt and no hot drinks. The floor around the tables were dirty and the staff were more interested in discussing their wages then actually taking our order. We did order a mini wrap, a fillet burger and a bucket. My fillet burger had lots of grisel in it and didn't taste get nice. The wrap was ok but my son didn't like the mayo. We left most of the food and went elsewhere. Won't be going to KFC again.

One of my favourite fast food restaurants. The outlet was clean and tidy. The food was hot and fresh.

Went to the Whitefield KFC with the family which was the 4 of us . After a very short wait we was served . Chicken came out which was of a nice size and Pipeing hot, chips followed which could have been a bit hotter but still very moreish. Drink nice and cold ,the perfect match. The restaurant was clean and with freindy staff . What more could anyone want .just perfect.

We were really hungry, it was late and we couldn't be bothered to cook, we decided to pick up a kfc. We picked up a bucket and tbh out of the whole bucket of 14 pieces there were just 2 nice pieces, the rest hardly had any meat on them, it was all mostly thigh and drumsticks, they were really greasy, chips were ok, not really very hot, I only live 2 mins away. So, next time we are in this situation, we won't be going to kfc!

Don't ask for bucket for 1 Its supplied in a bag. They reckon they ran out if buckets. But 5th time it's happened so must have permantly ran out. Stop advertising as buckets but bags.

I have visited this branch 4 times to date. On the first three occasions parts of my order were missing. I specifically asked on the second and third occasion for them to make sure my order was all there and explained that I had been short changed on my previous visits but again I was not given all the food I had ordered and paid for .On my fourth visit I did not use the drive through but went inside and ordered at the counter. Well that's what I tried to do but the young girl behind the counter seemed to be brain dead. Not only did I have to repeat myself about 6 times but also had to repeat 4 times that I did not wish to purchase drinks. She then put through a completely different order to what I requested and overcharged me by about £4!When I challenged her she looked at me gormlessly and then went off to find the manager. I waited about 10 mins for the manager to arrive. He had to refund the money to my card and then I had to reorder it all again which took roughly 20 mins. All the while my poor husband was waiting in the car outside thinking I had been kidnapped and watching another member of staff turn customers away in the drive through because they could not cope. Oh by the way no apology from the manager for the mix up or for the time I had to wait. So in my opinion this is the worst KFC I have ever visited and I wont be repeating the experience again. Shame on you KFC your customers deserve so much better and just in case you are wondering if the young girl that served me was a foreigner and couldn't understand me......no she was English! The moral of this story is avoid this place like the plague unless you have an hour or two to spare and don't mind paying for food that you have not been given.

We have visited here a few times and the quality of the food varies. Unfortunately, there is no way of telling in advance whether you are going on a good or a bad day!

Staff are hit and miss at putting the correct order in the bag..... staff can be slow and treat you with lack of respect for being a customer.

A standard KFC with the drive through being the busiest part. The intercom location for placing you order is easy to miss as it is grey in colour . Service is good for both eat in and drive through and the toilets are clean.

We first went to KFC when is opened and were disgusted at the state of the tables and floor. It was so bad that I made a complaint to the area manager (who didn't bother to respond)!! Now they seem to have got their act together and it is so much better. Keep up the good work KFC Whitfield.

Good chicken. Not expensive. Wait was short even with full house. Restroom was clean. Service was good. Restaurant was clean. Cheap good fast food can't expect to much.

Visited at lunchtime on a Monday and ordered 2 pieces of chicken and chips twice to take away. The lad who served me, who would clearly have preferred to be anywhere but there, ignored my request for a box. He was surly and offhand and couldn't have cared less about customer service,.

Nice new building opposite Tesco, drive through to boot, the place is spotless and staff well trained and polite. This is the way KFC should taste like it was really really good. If in Dover give the KFC in Market Square a wide bearth and pop up to Whitfield instead.
