Meal was OK chips not hot but edible granddaughter wanted the ice cream with meal when I went to counter to get it machine not ready told to wait ten minutes,did so went back told it might no work at all today,why not tell me in first place the customer care leaves alot to be desired in the escape Castleford kfc never offered an alternative granddaughter fed up so left.everytine we go there something is not working or not available note to self do not go to kfc glasshoughton again you ate wasting your money.

Disappointed. Food was hot but dry and poorly presented looked unappealing and bottom of barrell. Could do better!! Have used this outlet before without issue but todays visit was not their finest hour.

This is a decent KFC, the food was served quickly and was warm. The restaurant itself looked to be very clean. The staff were a bit off and didn’t say much.

This scam chicken shop fined me a £100 for parking on their car park and taking just over 60 minutes to eat my food that I had paid for. Don’t eat here you will regret it.

went threw drive threw and there was rats running around near back door been left open by staff chucking food on floor instead of using the bins unfortunately that put me off my food and just drive straight round and went somewhere else will not be using KFC.

We went here for my grandsons birthday. It was busy as expected for the weekend. After queuing and waiting for food and time for the children to eat and have birthday cake, it was 1 hour and 20 minutes from start to finish. Today we have received fines of £100 for exceeding 1 hour parking. (2 cars) This is absolutely disgraceful. SHAME ON YOU KFC. 1 hour is totally unreasonable at busy times. I will not be using this restaurant again.

Just opened 10.30 floors dirty not swept . Chairs still had food crumbs all over. Part of the order not ready so the food was cold . Even the last freshest of the order luke warm. Don't bother going

Food was cold also it was cash only and had a list on counter off what there didn't have and it was only 12 am would never go there again what a waits off money and my husband loves kfc but I won't go there again

Worst KFC i have been to No Coffee. Apparently repairs to the coffee machine are too expensive so they don’t do coffee anymore 🤷‍♂️ Food cold , got it replaced but no warmer Toilets are dirty and both sinks have broken taps Not fit for purpose Come on KFC this is not good enough

We ate at KFC with our two young children after attending a friend's christening. We had a great dinner but our children are slow eaters so our visit took just under 1.5 hours as there was no rush and we wanted to enjoy our dinner. Unfortunately, we have just received a parking notice for £100 for exceeding the 1hr limit in the KFC car park. This is completely unbelievable and feels like this particular restaurant is penalising young families. We are really disappointed by this experience, and despite loving KFC generally, we will not return to this particular restaurant unless they are able to resolve this issue.

After a long day I used the drive through and ordered the 10 piece Wicked Variety bucket . On receipt of my meal, I asked the girl if it was all in there. 'Yes' was the reply. 'No' was the reality. Missing were four chicken pieces & four mini fillets. Oh dear. TBF, when I returned the next day, the manageress rectified matters with some popcorn added for free. Too many kids serving.

Got mega box of 3 pieces of chicken and chips, chicken really really dry, prefer their drumsticks none in there, and chips overcooked, not good

Lovely food, the place was spotlessly clean. Lots of sauce given and there was someone cleaning areas and wiping tables. The food came fast and everything was there which is fab. Well recommended.

They don't allow people to sit and chat for as long as they wish to - parking fines are sent out if you stay too long, even though signs warning people of time restrictions aren't obvious.

Called at about 6.30 … place empty … know why now … it was freezing in there … had two three portions of chicken and chips … well when I could find the chips , . cold and hardly any there .. if that’s a portion then I’m Santa Claus…… no napkins given , no condiments, no milk for drinks … cone on KFC this was the gloomiest coldest place to eat .. very uninviting …

Served fast, we went at 7pm so maybe a quite time had meal and ice cream really enjoyed it food hot and tasty. Staff where helpful and kind.

I have attempted to give this particular franchise a few goes as it is my local kfc however , it’s always sub par - the lettuce is brown , the sauce is on one side of the burger , the chicken is rubbery … I could go on. If you go to any other kfc franchise you will see the difference in quality. Avoid … it’s disgraceful

Everytime we have to go to cas kfc rather then ponte due to ease of the drive thru or ponte is not delivering you hope for a better experience than the last but are always left astounded at the sheer consistent incompetence. Every single order is always always wrong to the point where we order 2 or 3 of things like gravy, hot wings and dips as they are always left out, to compensate the missing items. Funnily enough the order is never wrong in your favour, it's always missing items that leave someone unhappy or hungry. Today's order was missing one dip, 4 hot wings and 3 gravys. It's just not right is it? Is anyone actually in charge here? I've never seen such poor reviews on TripAdvisor for anywhere. Does anyone care?

This KFC is in a right mess. No management and the ordering and food prep is a total shambles. Computer terminals dont work properly and Sam's attitude stinks, and the way she spoke to me, other customers, fellow staff and the deliveroo guys wants investigating...

Called in yesterday for out lunch before work with my partner. We got a 10 piece bucket to share £16.99 . The chicken skin was slimy, the chicken itself was undercooked and disgusting the chips was ok but only just warm . We ate a few chips and only a couple of bits of chicken and all the rest went in the bin. I complained to the manager on duty , a young polish girl and she didnt care less, she offered to give us a few more bits of chicken but no refund. I went to work that evening feeling hungry and also a bit ill, as the night went on the stomach pain was getting worse. My partner she has had the same stomach pain and only just managed to go to work this morning. This place is disgusting the staff are terrible. Needless to say we wont ever return to this dump of a place.....

Disappointing. Super slow, didn't get the order right, terrible service, and cleanliness was terrible. Dirty window, girl shoved hand out at me with chip and pin, after having her hand on the dirty window sill. Barely acknowledged I was there!

...was the reason we came Tuesday afternoon but we were dismayed the drive through facility would not qualify us for the discoubt so we had to sit in.Rules stipulated I had to order and pay on the tall, glass menu machine which I detest doing. I ordered all three meals simultaneously but was later informed to optimise my savings it would have been better to order them seperately.Nobody enjoys being told after you have paid thatyou could have got the same meal cheaper had you been a little more internet savvy. When the bargain bucket came, it was immediately noticeable the chicken was a different colour to usual. It was far more golden than before,no grease but the batter was tasteless and the chicken was dry. It deffo did not register with the taste buds as KFC but something I can purchase anywhere. That secret recipe was NOT in evidence. The zinger burger (meal) was only a fraction larger than the mini fillet burger (both warmish only) and the coleslaw was to be eaten without a spork. I asked a young lady working there for a little salt and two spoons. She returned with six sporks, eighteen sachets of salt, no napkins and simply dropped them on the table. We did NOT enjoy the meal nor the experience We strongly advise anybody with working taste buds or pleasant memories of KFC to give this place a swerve. Must do better 3/10

Ordered and paid on the machines ( which is so much easier) and the food was ready very quickly! Everything we ordered had been bagged up and tasted great!

This has to be the worst kfc in Yorkshire. We went through the drive through they didn't get the order right. It was only a matter of 4 minutes before we tried to eat a family feast. Opening the bag they put gravy in and it had gone over the chicken. This was the only reason the chicken was not dry on the outside. It was cold dry inside and on asking for plates and cup's and forks they couldn't even get this right.

Ive ordered many time from KFC and always spot on! However big shout out for Emma W********* as My uber driver claimed he delivered and he didnt and even took a photo of my front door! Emma however went above and beyond to help me, and if the manager sees this - Give the girl a raise!

Called to get lunch and opted for a variety meal. Cannot believe the state of one of the hot wings I received! Merely a scrap no bones or chicken involved and not cheap either. Never coming here again... get a grip KFC must do better especially in the current climate!!

Had a chicken sandwich meal,dry and tasteless,especially as there was no salt provided,no napkins or hand wipes.No receipt either(probably so you cannot leave feedback on KFCS site,as you need it to do this)The only positive was food was served quickly and was hot.The young lady on the drive through although inefficient in not providing said items was however pleasant.Someone ought to mention that it is not a good practice for the cleaner to stand smoking in the car park,it looks totally unprofessional.Could not go into restaurant to complain or receive items missing as we had depriven off by then.Have given two stars only because the food and service was marginally better than KFC at Durkar Wakefield.

Really unhygenic in the buidiling and the staff on the so called manger iv seen better management from kids in a kinder garden. Shocking food orders always messed up and no custmer services skills whatsoever! Save your self the hassle and go to mcdonalds !

I’d say that I enjoy KFC infrequently and given they’ve reduced the price of a 6 piece bargain bucket to around £6 I thought I’d grab some.What can you say around kfc that hasn’t already been said or written?The place was heaving outside with a big drive thru queue so we went inside and the order was efficient and food served quickly.The chips looked and tasted like they’d been sat a little while but everything else was lovely.Overall it was fine.

I must be a glutton for punishment as I keep coming back hoping for a different experience, and because my children occasionally like a KFC, but never again.I’ve lost count of the number of times they have managed to mess up my order. We nicknamed the drive through “the lucky dip” as you never know what you’re going to be given, and so took to ordering inside as it’s easier to check what you’ve been given.Tonight they managed to miss one of my childrens’ meal completely, gave another of my children the wrong item, and missed part of my meal.I know it’s not glamorous work, or fantastically paid, but it is work, and it’s not exactly difficult to read a board. The staff just don’t seem to be bothered when you make a complaint.I’d give it no stars, but sadly that’s not an option.

You might want to hold on to your socks for this one,Me and my friend walk into the unsanitary pit named as kfc and we were shocked at the disgraceful conditions this “food establishment” had become. It was gone 10pm when we visited and it was a sh!t hole. Food all over the tables and floor, the bin was over flowing and the toilets made me want to go outside and p!ss up the wall.We approached the counter and waited over 5mins for someone or anyone to appear to take our order. After hearing the giggling and joking coming from behind the dull and poorly cleaned food hold, i had to shout for some assistance. Suddenly, somebody appeared. They took our order and we waited, and waited.Whist waiting we decide to attempt to find a table in the jungle that the Krusty Fried Chicken had become. Luckily, i found some cleaning spray (that someone had left on the bin) and i was a able to clear and clean a table for me and my friend to sit down and eat. I wasnt happy when our food didn't even come on a tray because they were all “unavailable”. I had to get my own secondhand tray off the bin and clean it with the spray that was earlier abandoned.Thankfully, our food was good and i enjoyed my hot wings. After this incredibly poor experience we decided to leave. On our venture out of the landfill we discovered a poor family hunting for a food source, unknowing to what we had been through, we spoke to them about the adventures they would be partaking in and quite rightly they chose to leave with us and go to the much cleaner Mc Donalds across the road. I can only advice that you do NOT visit this KFC!Thanks to all staff that work here for making this review! Keep working hard and maybe one day you will hit that dream target of potentially getting an interview at the Maccies over the road.

Oh where to start.had to explaine myself 3 times to what we wanted to order.orders ready to be picked up only one drink so asked for a second.found a table between dirty ones....open boxes to find there was only one meal we ordered the other wasnt ours.so off i went to to tell them this isnt what i orderer.got what i ordered and began to eat my food.10 mins later a elderly couple and a younger girl sat infront of me enjoying there meal where then a cleaner emptied a bin bag full of waste proped it against there table had a friendly chat then left came back with some kind of sauces opened them for the customers.removed the bag of wasted then a few seconds later swept the floor then with the same brush cleaned the tables.i said in a not so quiet voice "i carnt believe you've just swept the floor then the table with the same brush" her reply was "its quicker".i just didn't quiet believe what i had just heard.i didnt get her name as i didnt want to spend another second in there and wont ne visiting again.it was disgusting.

Personally I’m not a fan of KFC but my kids love it so I can often be found crawling through the drive through.If KFC is classed as ‘Fast Food’ then I’m sure you could sue them under misrepresentation rules.Anyway, it’s KFC so it does what it says on the tin and the food order was accurate and tasty.Never tried it but apparently the creamy mash is a wonderful side (as per my kids description).Come on Colonel you need to work a little quicker.

This meal cost just short of £7. Didnt have garlic mayo in when i got home and the amount of chips was shocking . It did have drinking chocolate but i feel completly robbed. Staff spending to much time chatting , wasnt given a reciept or a thankyou. Wont be back and will definatly share my experience with family and friends

Everytime we go to this god forsaken place we have to go back inside to get our order sorted out! This time was the final straw I ordered 3x the same snack meal, and one box meal surely they cant get this wrong, we got home without checking it there (my fault I admit) Opened the bag 1x snack meal and the box meal. So went back (5 mile) and got my other 2 snack meals for the kids no apology nothing! Got home to finally eat. They got my side wrong and one of the snack meals had 4 popcorn chicken bits in and about 7 chips. Cant be arsed complaining again over the phone coz they just dont listen. Terrible place staff must be stoned

I cannot stress enough how awful this place is. I ordered a fillet box meal & an extra piece of chicken. Is asked if both bits could be breast or side breast & the response was ‘I will try’. I asked for corn on the cob as a side.I was the only person in the drive-thru. I got round to pay & saw the gentleman who took my order pull the chicken tray. It was full & thought nothing more of it. I parked up to eat it. He had given me a thigh & a leg. It’s not school. I don’t get what I’m given. If I had known this I wouldn’t have ordered it. To add insult the chips were only hard in the middle. Absolutely disgusting. I will never ever eat in this place again.

After completing an epic 47 mile march for soldiers suffering of the mental illness PTSD over Hadrians Wall for the last three days we decided to get 2 6 pieces Bargain Buckets at Junction 32 Castleford,

KFC, first of all you change the fries from crispy on the outside and soft in the inside, to sweaty, sloppy fries! But I just cant forgive you for the mash potatoes, I mean WHAT THE HELL WERE YOU THINKING???? The advertisement shows lovely fluffy potatoes, but not sure what on God's earth I got, more like rabbit pellets? You really need to step up your game!!

Needed something quickly was starving, got it straight away, toilets were a bit dubious, needed toilet paper,and floor was wet, Plenty of room staff helpful,coffee nice.

Called in for a family bucket meal and was served by a lovely girl, Mia she was happy; helpful and courteous throughout .

This was very clean. Food hot and tasty . Loved the ice cream ball. It seems new. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Would come again .

Arrived at lunch time, no queue, terrible service, the tables and floors were filthy, food and wrappers everywhere no one cleaning up, had to clean the table and chairs before we sat down, none of the staff were interested, absolute disgrace

Absolutely disgusting service we ordered our meal at around 9:45pm through the drive through with one car infront. In this car there was a lady who knew one of the members of staff and they were having a conversation for 15/20 minutes of the window whilst we waited behind. We got to the window to be told we ordered 2 hot wings instead of 10 and when we corrected them we was then the till wasnt working and we couldnt have our food. My mum questioned as the car infront had just received their food and why have we been stuck waiting this long whilst someone had a conversation. I’m disgusted at the customer service of the staff here as the lady continued to say ‘why are you having a go at me I’m being nice’ as my mum questioned why we had to wait behind whilst a member of staff stood laughing and joking for 15 minutes. Then the lady slammed the drive through door window and said ‘alright bye then’. cant express how angry this made us and how rude someone can be. disgusting will never be returning to this awful place.

KFC went downhill mid summer to autumn. Always out of items.A little messy. Staff quite rude and uninterested. Called this weekend. Wow what a difference. Food hit ,looked like the pictures n tasty. Clean and staff were smiling!

The food here used to be good but it’s awful now. Got a bucket to share and we couldn’t eat most of it. The chips were cold. This was a takeaway meal and if we had eaten inside I would have asked for a refund.

Went to kfc drive through and spend £35 on food for me and friends . Got home to unpack my order to have a full meal missing, 3 portions of chips and two gravys missing.

Visited many times but never have I had to return food. We ordered three meals when the food arrived the chips were all cold and hard, upon returning to the counter could see all were standing under warmer in the packets. Also seem to be now more rustic style with skins on, some were green. Not a nice lunch

So went to kfc. Used the drivethrough. Had to wait 25 minutes to get to order. Placed order to be told we havent got any corn on the cob ok ill have gravy. We havent got any orange tango. Ill have 7up. Gets to the window to pay. Sorry we havent got any 7up. Which i had just been told 30 second ago they had. We only have pepsi max. By the way can you pull up we are just waiting for your chicken to be cooked and would you like another side yes what have you got. Coleslaw.... what about gravy. We got none left. What a joke. Fast food want me to wait 40 minutes and you havent got anything i want. Really. You only got 1 star because there isnt any lower. Must be a tango, 7up and gravy shortage. Like your chicken shortage. When you were buying from asda. There's an idea go get some gravy and drinks from asda. If you only have a limited menu. Heres an idea make sure you have got lots in. Id like to say it was a 1 off, but we have been for the last 3 weekend and everytime there is something you havent got. Think you need to sort you act out or maybe get a manager that can order enough stock in to last until the next delivery. Thanks for nothing, a bit like what you have left to serve.

Arrived here and saw drive que at least 18 cars waiting. So went in and people had been waiting 40 minutes for they orders! Then went to the loo and stunk and was blocked. Do yourself a favor and avoid

I have read a lot of the reviews on here from months and weeks ago. I can seriously say that there are so many issues and after being there Saturday at lunch time, nothing seems to have been done on most of these complaints like waiting times.

Absolutely vile. I didn’t enjoy any aspect of the meal. Got our order wrong; we told them and they didn’t seem one bit interested. The staff were rude, unhelpful and extremely slow. There were only us in the restaurant. I’ll never be returning.

I ordered a zinger burger, I asked if I could swap the two hot wings for a piece of chicken. Order went through right, although had two bites of my burger and realised it wasn’t the same as my friends, I took my burger up and said they couldn’t do anything about it, didn’t offer me a new burger. They also gave me two plain wings.

They let you order and then just leave you waiting. 35 minutes waiting for a bucket. No warning when you order that it will be that long and when you complain, all you get is “it’s not my fault we are busy is it “ seems that they serve drive through 1st and only then think about people waiting inside. Got our drinks right away, but after 35 mins we just give up and leave. BE WARNED, AVOID IF BUSY. Lousy lousy lousy.

Only went to kfc due to McDonald's drivethrou not being open .asked for there biggest ice cream as I didn't understand the names they had .so I said give me your biggest ice cream. When I got it .it was a very small one .it was a joke .

As soon as we walked through the door the untidyness of the restaurant was the worst we've ever seen. 90% of the tables were strewn with empty cartons and food that customers had not had the decency to clear away and the bins were overflowing onto the floor. We mentioned our concerns to the young cashier , who had only been working there a week, she informed us that they were extremely short staffed, however the young man that was supposed to be clearing the tables was stood chatting to a group of young ladies. The cashier reminded him that he was supposed to be working. Over-hearing a conversation between 2 employees, it became very clear that the young teenage staff are not adequately trained by the KFC chain. Napkins were having to be used to open the door to the toilets as these were filthy. Spillages were left unattended with no spill signs in sight, hence the surrounding area was very slippery.

This place is horrific, no idea why but now you pay then stand aside and wait, everyone waits for ages. I waited last night for 20 minutes and then my number just disappeared from the screen and when I asked they said oh thought it had gone. Absolutely useless, got my. Money back. Everyone waited ages, I thought afte last time they would have sorted it fast forward two months to my next visit and nope still the same. Easier to go nick a chicken out of a coop and cook the fu Cker r yourself!

Every single time I come to use this place they always get it wrong. This time I paid for gravy and again couldn't see any with the order so I challenged the lady who assured me without a doubt that the gravy was in the bag under the chips. Well you are a Liar love because when I got home it wasn't-Again. Well I am done. I've finished. You can stick your Colorado Way branch right in the chicken coup because I certainly will not be giving you my custom any more.

The food, when it arrived and then the order corrected, was OK.

Well it appeared to be freshly cooked and piping hot. Very tasty too so no complaints from me on this one.

We visited on the first day of the price increase of soft drinks due to the sugar tax so they had run out of Diet Pepsi due to everybody opted for that rather than pay the sugar tax. I had to have an alternative drink but have to say the food was freshly cooked and quick service.

Service appalling majority of order was wrong and when questioned the blame was put on us by the incompetent staff, of which there was many no idea what they was doing as customer service was non existent.Chicken was sloppy, cold and inedible.Service was at a snails pace and order was re done twice.Pepsi was flat more like high juice.Grim and Vile dont bother!!!! I had the misfortune of having to go to your establishment on BH Monday 2nd April.

After my recent visit here I can happily say I would never return. The staff don’t seem bothered about customer service at all. My meal wasn’t even put into a box the chicken was just thrown into a bag with my fries, their shake machine never works. Sure KFC would make sure all restaurants would deliver the same service.

We had never visited this KFC before and will make of avoiding it completely driving to another KFC further away.

A full meal missing...even though they had charged for it and had to go back...no corn on the cobs ...no hash browns for the big daddy box meal..the gravey was awful!no taste and runny this place has gone down hill!!will not be going back to this one.

After queuing 25 minutes through the drive through,I arrived home and they had got the my order wrong again!.this is twice this has happened to me!.I emailed a complaint, what a waste of time that was!.will never use KFC again!.

I had a boneless banquet from here that i shared with my Fiancee,there was plenty of chicken that was very tasty and also fries and gravy,i would recommend.

This KFC has the new self menu ordering system and it was a breeze to use. No need to talk to staff who obviously want to be away from KFC.

A member of management standing behind the food counter all day with her coat on!! what about food hygiene? no wonder customers have been unwell after eating food from here, The so called manageress is stern faced, rude, and needs more training on how to be a manager!!!

Really let down by this! Visited here today and got the meals we would usually get, got home and ate it all. An hour or so later I felt very sick and unwell, tried to sleep it off to then an hour later be sick. Really let down! Won’t be visiting this branch again don’t fancy getting food poisoning a second time !

El servicio era terrible, esperé en más de 15 minutos con mi familia de cuatro para ser servida, (sólo 2 en la cola). N.. El trío frente estaba comprando para un grupo grande, pero sólo había uno hasta abierto sólo. Entendí por qué estaba tomando algo de tiempo, pero cuando mi esposa preguntó a la directora si había alguien disponible para servir en otro hasta que ella dijo "no, no había nadie capacitado para servir en la caja? ? ? ? ? ? Salida de al menos 15 empleados que conté detrás del mostrador. Cinco minutos más tarde alguien no camine al servirme que había estado allí todo el tiempo? ? ? ? ?

Grabbed a snack there after work last night, woke up at 4.45am and vomited instantly. Had a bad stomach since and haven't slept properly. Be careful, it's happened a few times with this KFC.

We had a bargain box but the seasoning on the chicken was bland with no Mr Saunders secret recipe added ,will be giving this place a very wide berth in the future.
