Kentuck Fried Chicken in Portsmouth

Wrong food and always cold. Bunch of fools running the restaurant. You should be ashamed of how you run the establishment

I went in yesterday, and queued to order food. I ended up being front of the growing queue for 20 minutes while the woman working complained to her colleagues about how busy it was, but proceeded to stand and have a chat with a customer rather than doing any actual work. I was eventually served by a guy who had just finished cleaning the floor and tables and came over to take orders as the queue was getting longer. It seems as though this one guy is the cornerstone of their customer service as I’ve been many times and he’s always doing everything. The foods pretty bottom tier as far as kfc goes, the wings are always inedible and all the boneless chicken is dry and almost stale. There’s a few minor annoying things as well, like putting gravy in the bag without the lid being done up so getting home to a bag full of gravy, or not having lids for cups so having to use a coffee lid or just spill it all on the wall back. I understand this isn’t their fault and there isn’t much they can do, but you have to wade your way through a group of 8 year olds outside smoking weed or getting searched by police most times you go. Overall, awful kfc, nearly takes top spot for worse kfc I’ve been to. The best kfc I’ve ever had consistently is the one in gosport by Halfords. The fact these two places can even share the same name baffles me

Ordered on UBER for delivery finally get it after waiting 50 mins when the time was 25-30 mins!! ordered a wicked share box which comes with 10 pieces of chicken 8 hot wings and 4 mini fillets ordered our sides too when food finally gets here were missing 2/3 of the combo only got the chicken no hot wings and no chicken fillets chips are stale and cold I took pictures as proof as this is down to the staff not putting in the items not the drivers tried ringing the store 55 times no answer absolute disgusting service and no care at all !!

Se equivocó en nuestro pedido dos veces y la señora que servía siguió resoplando y resoplando y preguntó groseramente "bueno, ¿dónde está su recibo" y luego entregó con fuerza nuestros otros artículos. No estoy impresionado y definitivamente no será devuelto. Mal servicio y mala comida, evitaría! !

Mi hermana y yo vamos de compras cada quince días y nos encanta ir a este KFC en particular para nuestro almuerzo. Siempre nos atiende la misma dama encantadora que es extremadamente agradable y hace todo lo posible por ayudar. Gracias KFC, realmente disfrutamos venir para un almuerzo ligero. Comida siempre fresca, rápida y servida con una sonrisa.

After a long time wanted to try out KFC again. Worst decidion ever. Cooking at home seems to be quicker than the time I spent waiting for my order. While I was waiting I could hear my feet sticking to the floor, pretty disgusting, the same all around tables. Food - I was soo hungry after shopping, unfortunately I didn't eat all, burger tasted weird had to leave before it got worse. Went across the street to McDonalds to get a proper burger. Worst spent time and money in a long time. The thing I know for sure, they'll never see me again

The food it self wasn't the worst, it could have been better however it was edible. The worst part of the experience was the wait time! Over 20 mins for one order and then another 10 mins on top of that for my friends order that was taken directly after mine!! Seems the staff prioritise UberEats & Deliveroo orders!!

Well here I am. Queue was a nightmare. Self service for some reason never had chicken on it? Had to wait while 3 staff faffed about. No milk again so no hot drinks. Chips were cold. Chicken ok but a bit dry. Coleslaw was woody. Big daddy burger was average but ok. Gravy fairly runny from normal. Although place is very clean and no bothering little flies. Would I come here again? Debateable.

Terrible service, rude attitudes, first the girl was rude about swapping my side was just being awkward! Then a member of staff in kitchen started chucking food at staff behind the counter through the serving area and the girl (Cheyenne) then started picking chips off the floor and chucking them back through into the kitchen, when I said I hope those aren’t landing on our plates she was rude and they continued. Disgusting was really angry! Felt as though was being run by children and no sign of management.

Went to grab something to eat after shopping I ordered my meal all fine then after eating it I looked in to kitchen and saw the man cooking and preparing the chicken wipe his sweat from his head and carried on!!!! EWWWWW

The restaurant was quite busy when we visited but the queue seemed to move quite quickly, actually receiving the food took a while. Lovely idea to have designated wheelchair/disabled seating but not ideal when the wheelchair would poke out into the aisle so yes I was constantly knocked whilst trying to eat. Food was nice and reasonably hot, but next time it would have to be a takeaway which is a shame!

Poor compared to other outlets of the chain. Very noisy and insufficient seating. Staff seem scruffy

The first thing the management of this KFC will probably be thinking is ... Well our chicken does come with bones.. You have to careful!! However! The title of this review was inspired by my top denture!! At the time it was still pretty new, I hadn't got used to eating with it .. And mid meal thought I was going to choke on it!! So after quite loudly gagging.. ( which got everyone's attention ) I proceed to grab it out in front of loads of people who were eating!! They were all a bit put off their food I think,, I sloped off pretty sharpish after that!! SO!! Although not man enough at the time.. (Embarrassment) I'd like to apologise to any People who were there!! ( it was an emergency!) restaurant \ branch wise , no complaints about The food , restaurant or staff and as usual, you can be sure you'll get what you're expecting if you use KFC often

My wife and I attended for lunch and was bitterly disappointed, fries were tepid and the chicken had a slimy texture, I was going to complain but my wife stopped me and they also got the order wrong I asked for Pepsi Max no ice so I got ice,and insted of a two piece variety meal I got a two piece meal, won't be going back for a long time if ever...

I want to give some feedback about the KFC in Portsmouth commercial road which I visited today . Sadly it's not good feedback for the food quality. The staff were as good as they are normally but the food was stone cold. From counter to home took merely 5 minutes. The fries were all luke warm and limp. The spicy wings were cold and small. The bucket of chicken was also extremely greasy and nearly as cold as the wings. The only thing that arrived as expected was the bottle of diet Pepsi . I believe the food I was given must have been on the counter for a long time. I don't know what KFC have in place for food storage like times on shelf but I am honestly very disappointed with the food I received.
