Kens Fried Chicken in Portsmouth

Absolutely disgusting!!!! Chips was cold,,, all the chicken was dry! Like it was cooked days in advance! Chicken burger was so over cooked and cold! Can of coke was out of date!!!!,,, I will stay well clear of this place in the future!!! Not even busy there!!! No excuse but just laziness

Had 2 pieces of fried chicken with chips and coleslaw. Chips were good, coleslaw was ok but the chicken was awful. Hardly any coating, cold and tough.

This food was absolutely disgusting, the chips were horrible and the chicken was out of date, sat there for ages and was like eating dead rats ! Dont go here even the wipes were dry

My friend called the shop this afternoon as they were not open after we ordered. The chicken was pink and there was blood in it. I have a photo as proof, due to this I would like my money back

The worst restaurant I have ever known, the orders do not arrive, they give you a time and then they arrive at another time. The service is pathetic. I placed an order and they never brought it and said that they had delivered it. Yes, be more serious in your work. I do not recommend this restaurant, there are many better ones

We order from them a lot - though they often make mistakes mostly with sauces or substitutes - they are very nice and will correct them or sort something for you. (I think the poor gent I spoke to tonight is having a bad night. - but he was lovely on the phone) plus they do the best Cheesy fries around.

It’s just waste of time, chicken half cooked and half done will not order again from there.

The last four delivery’s of Vegi burgers were lovely but the most recent 2 Vegi burgers I received the other night were not cooked long enough on the outside, this meant that they were both sloppy/slimy in the burger bun and I couldn’t really eat them, after a couple of bites I couldn’t eat any more as they were revolting and didn’t taste very nice at all, I’m sure it’s a one off as previous delivery’s were really nice but I’m put off ordering again a bit now which is a real shame.

The corn on the cob was horrible!!! VERY over cooked and stone COLD it actually fell apart!

Won't admit mistakes. Will blame you. Have justeats customer service ready. They will refuse to replace what they've done wrong and make excuses.

BELIEVE THE BAD REVIEWS! Don’t even both ordering from here. The chicken could be the driest thing I’ve ever tasted. I wish you could upload pics, to show the atrocity of it! The 2 piece was abysmal. The drumstick was as small as the hot wing I got in my mega meal deal. I enjoyed the Dr Pepper (that wasn’t even cold) and the garlic Mayo in the burger was nice, thats it! Everything else was overcooked and under seasoned. Look I get it there’s not much option at 0330 in the morning but honestly just order a dominoes instead, don’t bother wasting your money here! Shocking from a takeaway with zero standards but will happily take your cash. Avoid at all costs!

Food was cold. Requested a refund but I'm assuming it's been declined. I always get a kens but this was most definitely the worst kens I have ever had. If you want cold cheesy chips with cheese that's not even melted at all, this is the place to order from.

Was given 2 wrong items which was disappointing. One of the items I don't like at all. Restaurant should've marked items as unavailable if they've ran out. Wasn't told or contacted about this either so I didn't even have a choice of what 2 replacement items I was gonna get. When you order, be warned, you could get any item off the menu, whether you like it or not

After not being 100% sure on ordering due to the previous reviews, I thought I’d give them the benefit of the doubt and give it a try. It started off well, ordering was easy and delivery was fast but this is where it went down hill. The chicken in the burger was hard and tough, probably been sitting under a heat lamp since dinner time, the hot wings wasn’t hot, were tiny, dry and one tasted very funny. The chips were the only fresh thing in the box. Overall, disappointed but should of listened to other peoples reviews

Chicken Burger wasn’t good. Potato Wedges cold and Hash Browns were meh. Only thing I enjoyed was the Gravy Beans. The most lit up place in Southsea but food, not good.

First time customer. Very fast delivery but the chicken burger was of questionable quality. The chips and onion rings were fantastic but the chicken fillet was very tough, like it was not cooked properly and had an unusual taste to it similar to that of freezer burn or not fully cooked. However due to the time and the fact I was going to sleep straight after, I didn’t call up to question my food/ask for a replacement but I don’t think I’ll be ordering from here again.

The burgers and chicken were overcooked so very chewy and rubbery. The chips were extremely greasy and had a strange texture, as they were hard and hollow. d Will not order again as disgusting so so most of the food went in the bin. Delivery was on time according to Just Eat but from the time Just Eat said the food was out for delivery and it arriving was over 20 minutes for a 10 minute journey so as well as disgusting the food was lukewarm. Avoid!

Yo, for a chicken shop you'd expect something that resembles chicken. These wings had clearly been refried at 23 times. I'd rather kill the chicken myself and break the sad news to some baby chickens that their parent is dead than order from here again. #thirdworldchicken

The chicken was overcooked, the chips didnt have salt on it, the delivery guy was late for 5 min and lets not forget about the pepsi i bought and they didnt send it. I call them about the pepsi and they said that i needed to wait about an hour to send someone here to bring the pepsi , even though the restaurant is like 10min away by car.

awful. literally ordered 2 large cheesy chips and they clearly couldn't be bothered to put more chips down so just put a handful of chips in each box. honestly less than half the box. I've ordered from this kens in the past, so I know that their portions shouldn't be this awful. asked for compensation, and was told it was just the recipe 🙄 whatever that means

Quite possibly the worst food I’ve ever encountered and would have preferred they just didn’t deliver it was that bad. I think it was all cooked 3 weeks ago and they just nuked it and decided to deliver it. Should be arrested for that food.

Received a message to say it was on its way, 30 mins later still not arrived. Called the restaurant, was told no order had been placed. After several phone calls, I was told the driver had tried to deliver but couldn’t find it so returned to restaurant, very rude and kept putting phone down on me, eventually brought the food again which was cold. Never ordering from here again!

The chicken was terrible I gave that to my nephews and the hole night they where pooping. The chicken wasn’t properly cooked and it has too much oil on it. I will never order food their again.
