Kebabish Original in Kirklees

I didn't receive the salad or sauce I ordered. It has always been perfect from kabish when I've ordered previously but tonight it was not.

I wrote on the bit that says any institutions and asked them to make my samosa’s fresh not drown them in oil £15.40 for them and oil was dripping everywhere quite shocked they have done that before hence the note I put on the order horrible and disgusting had to throw away £15.40 worth of samosas very very disappointed

We got two Chicken Kebab's. Naan was undercooked and the chicken was cooked strangely. Seemed to be cooked first then the seasoning added after, like wet dust covered chicken. Neither of us ate the food... Not a good food experience.

Ordered from here tonight and the food was disgusting. I ordered chicken Karahi which is my usual choice. That’s never seen karahi. It was a yellow, watery tasteless mess. The rice was also very bland, no flavour at all I will NEVER EVER order from here again.

As always, the food was top notch and didn’t disappoint . One of our favourite takeouts. The fish starter is so nice, subtle spices and worth the higher price of a starter.

lovely curry , i started ordering again after a rubbish one a few years ago , and it makes it with the bit of fresh salad and chilli sauce and mint sauce they also give you , vindaloo with for me the perfect heat and chillies . . . .

Wasn’t the same taste and texture as normal . Either chef change or just an off day . First time I have had to give a low score and review.

Asked for a portion of onion bhajis for a starter and then a mixed kebab for mains, when the kebab was nearly ready the waiter realised they forgot the starter so put the kebab to one side then brought my starter , the kebab was then warmed up in the microwave so everything was soggy won’t go again.

We went on a Sunday evening as a family of 3, travelled from Oldham. Restaurant wasn’t busy so able to seated straight away. Very pleasant and friendly staff. We ordered 2 curry and rice dishes and son had a mixed kebab. It was very tasty and cooked well. We have been a few times over the years and will definitely eat there again.

Curries not up to par will stay in Bradford. Would only go again for sides etc. Girl server had a shirt on that looked like it was crumpled up in a corner and put back on for her shift. All the other servers were neat.

Had a mouth full of their samosas and mixed grill….absolutely vile!! Went to wash my hands….thought I’d been transported to a third world country due to the disgusting state…surprised the council don’t inspect? Ended up eating across at McDonald’s!

Started with a really nice fish pacora followed by a good king prawn curry more of a takeaway with seats than a restaurant. Prices were reasonable and the food was good then I went to the toilet properly the worst most disgusting restaurant toilet I have come across and we have been to some dire ones in turkey and Greece. For a start only 1 toilet available with 7 inches of used toilet paper on the floor that's not just today's generaly grubby makes you wonder what there cooking practices are like if they leave a toilet like that

Chicken Tikka kebab was very low quality Chicken, looked like the scraps from a chicken not the breast. Lamb Masala tiny pieces of lamb. Awful.

The food is always very nice but with this order the chips were cold but the tikka kabab was piping hot...Hot chips next time for £3..at that price they should never be cold...

Terrible, is absolutely terrible, thought I would give this another go I thought wrong. Ordered, it came, wrong order not ours, phined them up, they wanted to send the itema missing, even thoigh we told them the order wasnt ours, had to.wait another hour before our food came, we ordered the curries mild, they were hotter than a vindaloo, the ruce wasnt cooked through properly, the chapatis, wer warm but hard, think we shoukd of just eaten the packaging.

Wow I’m 56 yeas of age the most expensive curry take away ever in my life ordered chicken dopiaza , rice, onion bhaji 1x Naan bread. When I got home, no naan bread in the bag just curry Bhaji rice,unbelievably bland all for the lovely sum of £19.50 absolutely disgusting! Never ever again This is definitely one to avoid. Once again disgusting

Ordered from here for years and years and go in to get takeaways always loved there food. I’m sorry to say this was awful… The chicken kebab….Rock hard naan n cold as was the chicken which was hardly any chicken normally tasty n soft. Samosas mostly pastry n soggy n cold. Bhajis cold and hard!! Hardly any flavour. The curry was still nice though. I’m sad to put this review but this order was nearly £30 and this not like these to have disappointing food and most of it as gone in the bin

Won’t be ordering again. Ordered 2 chicken kebabs and the meat was as dry as an old leather flip flop that’s been left out in the desert.

Absolutely awful dinner. They just put a disgusting sauce over the chicken and a few onions and that was sit. No taste no smell no flavour or authenticity of the dish. Bad bad customer service. Lady was very abrupt and full of scorn and didn't care about her job. I will never come here again it was that bad. Avoid at all costs. They haven't got a clue.

I ordered butter chicken masala but it tasted like a tandoori chicken masala curry not butter chicken which was disappointing. I have ordered butter chicken from kebabish before and I know it is not like this. Also, some of the naan was overcooked.

Nice food, but terrible service and substandard hygiene in the toilets. I ordered a well done naan with my usual curry and I received an under cooked naan. I tried to explain this to the waiter and his reaction was “ the naan is well done” with a smirk on his face and he continued to argue and I tried to explain further. I’ve never met a waiter I’ve wanted to punch so bad. He had no manners, was cocky and obviously lacked training. I bit my tongue and complained to the general manager via email. A few days later I went back in, but Instead of an apology, some of the staff were pointing and talking about me and this continued even when my food arrived and I started eating. The team leader or manager came and sat in front of me and said “why did you complain?”He was clearly annoyed by my complaint prior and it was evident he had not disciplined the dysfunctional asbo suedo “waiter” who was still smirking. I tried to explain that this was the waiters doing.. but the manager got up and walked off. I ate in this place for 12 years, but I’ll never set foot in there again.

Can't really fault the food and delivery but I didn't ask for cooked onions all over the grilled food. There were masses of onions. Also nothing says what free sauces and salad you get with the meals so ended up ordering too much.

The food was stale. The Donna meat tasted days old. Even the dog wouldn’t eat it. Disgusting!!!

Usually one of the best kebabs in Huddersfield but the last few times I've noticed a significant dip in quality. Shame.

The butter chicken and nihari meat pieces were not as soft as I would expect them to be. I've ordered butter chicken from Kebabish before and it was softer.

Kebabish has gone down hill the mixed grill for 2 was like suitable for one person and all thrown in squeezed in a box and the tikka lamb chops was not marinated and the sauce was like water. Wont ever order again now . Its sad as i use to be a regular

Haven’t ordered from kababish original for a while but our order was just as good as ever all the food was hot and extremely tasty the order arrived on time and the driver was very good small issue with our order but that was rectified very quickly and professionally thank you guys and I have to say your spit roast chicken is amazing and great value for money big portion for the great price. It was lovely and ready on time but did not give me the fried onions I paid extra for.

The saag curry looked as though it had been regurgitated and then served to me, didn’t taste too bad but the look of it was a complete put off. Definitely wouldn’t order again. I’ve had this curry many times before from other restaurants and it’s supposed to be a tomato and onion based sauce with spinach which I got the complete opposite, never seen anything so unappetising

As always, never fails to impress. I stick to my favourites from Kebabish but usually add something to my order I’ve not tried before from there menu and have not been disappointed so far.

Less than half a portion of chips with my chips cheese and keema, tandoori roti we’re like small chapattis and my lamb Bhuna was watery, tasteless and didn’t have any tomatoes in it. Disappointing doesn’t quite cut it

Fabulous Curry. Was looking for a quick pre theatre meal and found this place. The best Curry I have had in ages with fresh garlic Nan that really were fresh. The only let down were the toilets because the hand dryer did not work and putting out a big roll to dry your hands was not ideal. However, food wise I could not fault it and will be back again.
