Lovely location, after walking around the adjacent reservoir we had an excellent meal and fantastic welcome from John and family The bar was dog friendly. We will definitely return .

The staff were remarkably attentive without being intrusive, striking the perfect balance between friendliness and professionalism. Visited the Mere Inn the weekend before Christmas, customer service was second to none, shout out to Charlie and the team for making my dads night on his 70th birthday!

An excellent café with good food and friendly service.

Really good, freshly-cooked pub food. Decent beers, friendly service and reasonable prices. Lovely old-school, generous puddings too. The menu choice is limited but if that ensures everything is fresh and of a high quality then that's fine by us. Had a great evening meal here with the family and would certainly visit again.
