Kat’s kafe in Eastleigh

We stumbled upon this cafe on a trip down to the coast from Oxford. We were warmly greeted, the food was good quality, reasonably priced, well presented and piping hot, what more can you ask for. We will be back, Thankyou.

If going out for breakfast this is our first choice. The food is always fresh and hot and non greasy. The staff are really friendly especially the owners and they will always try and accomodate any wishes or changes. We go here as a family or I go with friends at different times of the day- great place to sit, eat and chat.

Gave this cafe a secned chance Sunday 20 Feb went for Sunday lunch 3 people eating in the cafe told as we hadn't booked they wouldn't serve us never go there again my first visit was bad poor food and rude service we went down the station pub good food and made welcome

Popped in here by chance for a coffee while visiting from Winchester. The coffees were delicious and probably around £1 less than we would have paid in Winchester. The service was friendly and kind.

We visited the Cafe after meeting the owners locally, Probably the best all day breakfast i have ever had. Excellent value for money Wife had Scrambled eggs on toast, which she thorughly enjoyed I had a coffee, (the instant one which was exactly what i wanted and have to say it was nice to offered something other than a 3 pound cup of coffee with a breakfast. Wife had Mint tea which she enjoyed All in all we will be back

Had my first visit today, I went in and asked for a couple of coffees one being a black one, I was given an instant coffee. I could not see what coffee it was as it came out of a tin. Would not recommend this place to anyone

Well i think it was the worst breakfast i have ever had. Firstly staff could not get the drinks order correct. We had to wait well over half an hour for breakfast and it was not even busy ! The sausage was undercooked bacon overcooked hash brown no colour egg hard baked beans had a weird taste and the toast was soggy! Maybe quite cheap but that reflects on the quality of ingredients used im afraid we shall not return

I have been here several times, and each time I am always impressed. The staff are really nice and the breakfasts are always cooked to perfection! The prices are good too. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Appears to now be called Katerina's. I wanted a Sunday full-English, but apparently arrived after they stopped serving breakfast (why? You had kitchen staff, and the ingredients...). So decided on Sunday roast instead (my wife always likes lamb shank, which was on the menu, but they didn't have any). So we ordered roast pork, and waited 40 minutes for it to arrive. When my wife went to chase it up she was told "sorry, we're very busy". No they weren't! Just very badly organised. When it arrived it wasn't that bad (but nothing to write home about) just not worth waiting 40 minutes for. And several other people were served full-English while we were waiting. Won't go back there again.

Kat and val have always been very welcoming to me and my husband, food is always on point and very good value for money, if u want a brilliant cafe with amazing staff then look.no.further than kats cafe

We had your Sunday roast this week and my god was it bad The only good thing about it was that it was hot Only got half way though,and found someone’s hair, that done it for me. So I won’t be eating there again,and would not recommend you to anyone

A really good breakfast in a good clean tidy place with very friendly service. I opted for the standard plate and it was delicious as it was cooked properly and well presented. Well worth a visit.

Funny enough whilst in Eastleigh called into Kat’s cafe today just to have a hot drink & get out of the awful weather but the temptation was to much with the smell & looks of all that lovely food I just had to have a wonderful breakfast even if it was in the afternoon while the wife had a great chicken omelette the breakfast melted in my mouth & the chicken omelette went down a treat so go on spoil yourself the next time your around Eastleigh shopping you won’t go far wrong.

Been a while since last here. The cafe has had a massive revamp, and looks very modern and upbeat. Neat clean layout with selection of2 and 4 seating tables. Very good selection of hot and cold foods and drinks. Like a lot of cafe's today it's pay on order at the counter. Hot food is freshly prepared and cooked to order, all of which are at a reasonable price. Brought to your table once it's ready. Very friendly and pleasant staff. Wifi available and password on menu. The food was hot, tasty and plenty of for the price. Not a rushed service, but my visit was towards the end of the day and the place with quite quiet. But know it can get very busy in the mornings. Outside seating for a couple of small groups, which certainly isn't for me in the winter months.

I'll keep this short and simple. The Ninja Breakfast! OMG! Kath and Val run a top cafe. Get in here people.

Went in today for breakfast,I had the Ninja breakfast which is 3 of everything,definitely a builders breakfast all cooked to order nice and hot reasonably priced

Popped in to Kat’s Kafe for breakfast after staying in the area and before driving home.Kafe looked friendly and welcoming and we were greeted by the lovely owner Kat.Hubby opted for the big breakfast and myself the standard breakfast with a couple of additions. All was cooked to perfection and presented immaculately, not at all greasy like your typical greasy spoon.Highly recommend a visit. They also do lots of other meals and I was told their Sunday roast is amazing too.Glad we found this place and will definitely be back when we are in the area again. What a little treasure in Eastleigh.

Friendly, warm welcome. Arrived as they were opening up, we were welcomed in and given a cup of tea while they finished setting up. Food great. Fantastic fried eggs.

Popped in as I’m working in the area this week. Was greeted with a friendly smile and great service. The slimmers breakfast was well presented and perfectly hot! Excellent! Will be back!

Stayed in Eastleigh for second time at Travelodge and wanted somewhere for breakfast , walked round the town and found Kats Kafe looked very busy so called in. Wow wat a surprise , very clean , very welcoming, varied reasonable menu , both me and my wife decided to have full English and everything on it was freshly cooked and presented well . We used this on both mornings on our break and would recommend to anyone if visiting Eastleigh. Will definitely be returning when we stay again . Staff very friendly even though not a local treated as a friend .

Have shopped in Eastleigh for more years than I can remember but never noticed in passing this great little cafe in the High street so we dropped in to give it a try you a welcomed with a smile the food is wide ranging is cooked to perfection in more than ample servings will certainly be paying a visit in the future as we have found they do a great Sunday roast as well it was well worth a visit I can recommend you give this one a try
