The Cheese and Onion is one of the best I've had by far, always wondered how they make it sooo blimming good, I know mine doesn't come out as close to that! paired with mushy peas and chips, perfect. Nice dim lighting, always friendly staff, lovely ladies :) lovely place to have Lunch at as a dinner date with the mother

A basic cafe but serving excellent meals. Great to pop in especially for their cheese and onion pie. A good variety of menu choices for a small place. Limited seating. Easy access in the town centre. Good parking facilities nearby. Can park free for 2 hours with a parking disc supplied. Strongly recommend this for simple but delicious food.

Friendly service and very helpful. Good homemade pies and quiche which taste really nice, good options given and good value for money. The pie lunches sell out quick so best to get the before 12.30 or you may miss out. I visit usually 2/3 times a month.

On first entering you may be put off with decor but don't be! The staff are really friendly and ultra efficient. The food especially cheese and onion pie is delicious. Well worth a visit 😁

Kate's Kitchen is a great café to go to if you want a good cheap lunch especially their loose potatoe pie very friendly and helpful staff

I called in there for a coffee and a something to eat to take away I got a slice of quiche it was absolutely fantastic the staff was nice the only draw back was the fixed seating ...not good if your on the heavy side.

I have been going to Kate's for well over 20 years. The cheese and onion pie is my favourite ! The staff are always down to earth and friendly and very efficient . The food is always hot and delivered quickly. So long as this place stays open I'll keep going it's now become a family tradition . Well done all excellent home cooked hearty meals just like grandma makes !

Beverley Road
Visited in late October on a lovely sunny day which really painted this pubs beautiful location in a perfect light. We are from the Midlands visiting family who are local and we all received a lovely warm welcome. The pub is lovingly decorated with great views over the local countryside. The staff were attentive, friendly and knowledgeable about the menu options. The food itself was plentiful,tasty and well presented. Additional top marks to the owner who went the extra mile to look after a member of our party who unfortunately was taken suddenly unwell, thank you. We will definitely visit again when back in the area.

Southfield LaneGolden Wedding Anniversary with family, a table of eight on 8.9.24.Excellent service throughout, staff friendly and helpful. The food was extemely good quality and piping hot. I had a medium rare steak which was cooked to perfection. Well done Shooters, thank you for making our anniversy special. Recommend A+++++.
