My first visit, and will not be the last. Ordered on line, really easy, asked for 25 min. pick-up and my order was waiting when I arrived. Quality was superb, best I`ve had in years. Well worth the 10 mile round trip.

One of the orders came with beef instead of chicken, it was still ate but not a fan of the beef.

We're new to the area and this is the first place we've ordered curry from - and we probably won't bother looking anywhere else, it was that good. Delicious food, lots of flavour, good size portions, and nice and spicy. Plus they were good and fast, and the man who delivered it was very friendly and polite. Can't recommend Kamal enough.

Amazing food! I was apprehensive about trying a new place, however Kamal is now my favourite. The quality of the food is excellent and arrived hot. The delivery driver was polite and the food arrived quickly. I would definitely recommend.

So tasty! everything was really fresh and packed full of flavour. I tried something new for me (the chicken tikka mashure) and it didn't disappoint!

Masala tasted different. Nan was burnt again. I politely asked for less chicken but somehow got more. My favourite takeaway place but last two orders haven’t been great chucked most of it away AGAIN and it ain’t cheap. Very disappointed

Fantastic food. Ordered the lamb pasanda and the lamb was extremely tender. Delicious! the naan bread was also massive. great portion for the price.

Ordered a lamb tikka rogan josh, my usual although not from my usual Indians. All good as it arrived on time and relatively warm. Dished up - it didn’t look like a josh as it had potatoes in instead of tomatoes but I thought little of it. Poured some wine, then took a bite. Fluff me! This blew my face off! Definitely not a josh! The only dish I could think this might have been would be vindaloo or something similar. I don’t do hot 🥵 so couldn’t eat this at all. What a waste of time and money.

took longer than lt usually does but wasn’t later than expected delivery time. Food was lovely like it always is but wasn’t very warm. Still enjoyed our food but would have liked it to of been a reasonable temperature.

We've never had a bad word or experience with our food from this restaurant as everything has always been spot on so that's why I feel bad with this, but tonight the popadoms smelt weird like petrol or turps. Tasted a little bit of one and it tasted okay, but the smell was strong so obvs put us off.

wings are undercooked and pink, lamb is dry and hard. not good.

If you're looking for the best restaurant in Newcastle Kamal is the place to go. You'll not find a better curry in the country!! I've tried many places and not found anywhere that is a patch on this place. The service is outstanding and their food is the best! I've tried most of the menu and there hasn't been one thing I've not liked. Give it a go, you'll not be disappointed.

Kamal and I have had a fall out. If you're visiting Newcastle I do not recommend coming here! I was new to the area and didn't quite receive the fine dining experience I was hoping for. As for the food lets say it was tasteless and even my dog wouldn't appeal to the left overs. Major thumbs down!

I had some rice and chickpeas and a sheik kebeb rap the chikepea curry was really nice with the pilu it's a sweat shop but they do a lot of food as well they are quit cheap and you can sit in the food is good they are none for the wraps but you can have curry with rice and nan and sit in

The food was 30 minutes late, which I can forgive because it was NYE, but it was absolutely exceptional. One of the best Indians I have had. I will be back.

Best lamb madras ive ever had, ordered here for years

Food from here is absolutely incredible! My only gripe was the naan bread was very tough this time. Will be ordering again for sure! Delivery driver also rang to say he was on the way. Polite and friendly. Very highly recommended restaurant!

The BEST curry house in the North East, now doubt! Couldn’t get a better curry anywhere else. Service is incredible, food is so fresh and always super flavorsome, menu is fantastic and every dish is incredible. Couldn’t ask for anything more in a restaurant, owner is super friendly and all staff are fab! Always planning the next one.

Food Arrived on time, sadly that’s the best bit! Rice was cold, sauce of the Korma was cold and Chicken inside the sauce was warm! Genuinely had more heat in the Popadoms had more heat than our meal. Also our Nan Bread was cold. Poor poor experience.

Always order from this restaurant. Don’t know if the chef was different but both dishes tasted totally different to what we usually get and just luke warm. Very disappointing.

Curry was nice all though it had leaked all over my bag of chips leaving not much sauce! Chips were all soggy and my chicken chaat starter was not there with my order never had this issue before and left me disappointed!!

I've kept coming back here despite the consistently bad delivery, because the food is good. But after today I won't anymore. I pre-ordered, hoping to get ahead of the crowd. I was told it would arrive at 6, but it never came. When I requested an update the app said 6:30. But it never came. Then I called them, they said "the driver is ten minutes away". But it never came. I called again and the person on the phone wouldn't give me an answer as to when it would arrive and refused a refund. By this point it was over an hour late. When it arrived I asked the driver if I could get a refund since it was so late, he called the restaurant and they refused again. I mean if you can't deliver on time, don't advertise on the app that you can, it's really that simple, right?

Vegetarian order and was delivered chicken, was told I’d get a refund but it was never received

never any complaints since using this takeout. food really nice onion bargies was bit cold on this occassion but just warmed them up n still enjoyed. not really one for chips but the indian chips are soooo nice we get them the whole time. delivary was early n driver was really nice n friendly too 👍

Arrived 20min late and cold :-( and then delivery driver refused to come into apartment building. £3.50 for poor delivery service.. Everything needed reheated. Never had a problem with this restaurant before, so hopefully a one off. But disappointed on this occasion.
