Fantastic again as always, great service excellent dishes lovely atmosphere cool wine very satisfied my only go to Indian restaurant

Very expensive for below standard food. £1.10 for ONE soggy Poppadom!!! Jalfrezizi was just a veg curry, only one prawn in dish which was total mush (only knew it was a prawn because the burnt tail) chicken dry, dishes were barely warm as well. chips were OK. Driver was happy. Cheers drives. We will not be ordering from here again.

2 hours 10 mins from order to delivery to the door went past hungry... food turned up poppadoms were soggy normally very good from here but tonight was far from it £41 that was wasted in my eyes has made me think twice about using in the future

I'm not one for writing reviews, but wow. I'm usually disappointed in takeaways but this was my first order and honestly the best takeaway I've had in years

The dishes were delicious - really tasty. I only removed a star because the poppadoms were inedible and soggy. I just won’t order them next time!

We were both greatly disappointed (we had different items). We tried this restaurant as a change from our usual one, which was a mistake. The flavours of the food we chose were overpowering (my Pathia tasted like gravy with added spice). We threw most of it away.

Food was great but as I've been collecting stamps, the site was showing that I was due £15 reduction but this was not applied. Suddenly, the site is showing that I've only collected my first stamp which is incorrect

We always used this place for our takeaways when we lived in Southampton as the food is really lovely. Tonight we used the restaurant as we are visiting for a couple of days and yet again the food is absolutely beautiful and the service is outstanding. Thank you hope to see you guys very soon.

Best Indian , great food, great service

1st time ordering from here and not disappointed! Slightly more expensive than other Indian takeaways, but definitely worth the money, very tasty, delivered hot and on time. Only let down was the poppadom, only 1 and slightly undercooked, but certainly will buy again.

Everything was good as expected

Ordered a take away from here. Food took almost an hour and a half to be delivered, despite the estimated time quoted being 45 mins. Food finally arrived with out the naan bread that I'd ordered and paid for. Didn't realise until after I finished eating, so tried dropping the restaurant a message using the option on the ordering page. Received no response, so a day or so later I emailed them and still got no response (over a week has now gone by!). Will not use them ever again, as I understand it's easy to make a mistake in a busy restaurant but I don't expect to be ignored when I tell them have had money from me for goods I've not received!

Excellent food, and accommodating staff. Dealt with our special requests without question. Plenty of tablespace but seems to be doing a roaring takeaway trade during the weekdays.

We had booked a table for 8 for a family birthday. Everyone had a different choice from the menu. We chose poppadoms while we waited for our main course. They were really tasty. When the main meal arrived the food looked very appealing as it was served. We didn't wait long for service. All staff were very attentive. Great evening. We all agreed we enjoyed the food.

Food is always good quality, got a message advising out for delivery at the start of estimated arrival- I called the restaurant at the end of the estimated delivery period ( half an hour long )and they told me it’s the next delivery- still took another half hour from there!! So an hour in total, tastes amazing, was warm enough to eat but not hot by any means.

Food lukewarm, and an hour or more late….despite being advised it was in the kitchen on the 3 occasions I called, on one occasion I was advised it was on the way then advised in the kitchen!! Then the driver arrived arrived had no change, I normally pay by card so why he had none? Seriously 😳 joke

We tried several dishes that I hadn't heard of before. Being from the Midlands we know our curries and they did not dissappoint. Very flavoursome dishes, loaded with meat and the king prawns were monsters! I will definitely be using these guys for my next takeaway curry, it's hard to find a good one and they certainly delivered 😉

Great food and one of the best Indian take aways I have had for a while. Vindaloo chicken beware it’s super hot but that’s how we like it. Goanes prawn was great creamy dish and murgh khurchan was great with some heat packed in. Was just found it from trip advisor and will definitely be back soon !

Absolutely delicious. 1st time from KM and will definitely order again. Very tasty although no freebie after £40 as stated. A couple of poppadoms would have made it!

Good food. As someone who can only handle a korma it would be helpful to know if dishes are even slightly spicy. The rice I ordered (the pilau rice) had some spicy seeds or something in it which meant I didn't enjoy it and had to waste most of it. I wouldn't have expected pilau rice to be spicy.

Went here with my partner and friends for dinner to celebrate my partners big Birthday. As always we had a great experience with fantastic food and friendly and attentive service from all staff and couldn’t fault anything👍. Can highly recommend this place for any occasion and will always choose this restaurant as our number one choice for a great curry meal 👍😀. Just phenomenal, easily the best food in Southampton

Ordered at 5pm for an 8:30 delivery. Reached 8:45 with no delivery, justeat app said it had been delivered! Upon ringing the restaurant they explained they were still cooking our food. Unacceptable when you’ve pre-ordered by that length of time. Food was nice when it finally arrived but we’d paid extra for poppadoms and received one broken poppadom - disappointing. We’ll probably only eat here again in the restaurant itself as been many times before.

I decided to try one of their lamb specials (Tawa lamb) through deliveroo and very tasty and will use them alot more,speedy delivery. I would anyone wanting try authentic meals to try this place

Delicious, best curry in Southampton. Love the Tawa Machi and King Prawn Kadhi! My wife loves the Tandoori chicken and Tika Masala. Definately recommend!

Rip off, Expect to be overcharged without you knowing as they wouldn’t tell you the price until your food is ready, so you can’t cancel it.

First time when I ordered everything was fine. I liked the taste that's why I ordered second time. The second time was a complete disappointment. Only an idiot would pack dal in foil container. And an item was missing from the order too! Useless people.

Chicken did not look cooked enough, was pink inside. Very disappointing as usually first class.

The curry was disgustingly greasy, the rice dish was really dry. Not good quality for money and the person who took my order was somewhat rude and pushy. Will not be returning.

We always enjoy an evening at Kali Mirchi. Very relaxed atmosphere in a spotless restaurant. Staff are very friendly and helpful. And the choice and quality of dishes is excellent. Service is always of a very high standard.

Perfect! Boiling hot, great taste & fab portion size.

The curry was far too oily, my order was messed up and completely over priced. Ordered 2 curry's, 2 rices, and 2 plain naan breads, only received one curry with the 2 rices and 2 naan breads but charged for the full order. Then got charged a further £10.45 for ONE curry which i had already paid for in the first place. I mean come on! Get it right the first time and not to mention its clearly daylight robbery! Wont be ordering food here again thats for sure.

Not so professional staff .( not all ) the one on the till and bar counter , suggestion : rather being a pushy on what the customer wants then let customer speak rather interruption in between that too frequently which is very unprofessional. Order arrived after 20 min .( please avoid eating pan masala while on shift) On every dish we order indirectly advised to order more by saying this would not be enough ... Truly a waste of gbp40. Not comming back again not for the food but for the service provided Pros: dal tadka and rice were at the best ...cherrs to the cook .
